It's impossible not to have some biases in the way we think. The distinguishing factor lies in whether you are working to help. Be introspective and active in examining your own thoughts and the actions of others. Individuals are hated on the basis of race or sex.
Trans people are having a real hard go of it now as misinformation and gross oversimplification is used to reduce millions of people to a disgusting sideshow. This is a new kind of bigotry with new lies backing it up, but it's also glaringly similar to the homophobia of the previous century which still simmers today.
They aren't just objects, painful surgeries and weird disruptive forces to the status quo that makes you comfortable. These are people with lives and dreams and fears. Do you think they haven't thought about it really fucking hard already? Do you really think that ranting at some trans woman on twitter about her existence being done kind of attack on high school sports, or worse, that she might be some kind of predator, is going to change her mind??? And it's not enough to just let people "do whatever gross thing they want as long as it isn't hurting me" or to "leave them alone".
These people are hurting and dying. Suicide rates in these communities are so high precisely because they are alone. Alone against the whole damn world.
What happened to rooting for the underdog? When did we start attacking people for being different? Lol, probably further back than recorded history goes. When will it stop? When can we stop reducing other people to ugly faces and stupid mistakes, and really just love one another, for the sheer joy of living and being a part of that love?

My thoughts about that is... Love is love, people are people, as simple as that, bias in gender or stuff like that is absurd, great message, and as @tired_momma said, this should be an article. :D
I actually have a lot of transwoman friends. I live in the Philippines were being part of the LGBTQ+ community isnt fully accepted yet . Knowing that someone out there is brave enough to leave a post like this is so heartwarming. Thank you for this sir Lucas.
It's a very good message for everyone. What is going on in our world? Not only global warming but people's minds and behaviors seem to be getting worse as well.
By the way, I'm writing an article at the moment about "Be Considerate", people that are having problems on behavior must read this.
