It's now official! Manga series "Horimiya: Hori-san to Miyura-kun" TV anime adaptation has been announced to premiere on January 2021
The official website of the TV anime adaptation of the popular Japanese shōnen web manga series written by HERO and illustrated by Daisuke Hagiwara titled "Horimiya: Hori-san to Miyura-kun" has been announced to receive a TV anime series adaptation slated to premiere on January 2021. The announcement was published by Hagiwara's Twitter account and at the series' official website which also opened today along with its official Twitter page. Yesterday, a leak of the cover of the upcoming October 2020 issue of the G Fantasy anime magazine featuring the said TV adaptation went viral on the social media.
CloverWorks is animating the series.
Plot:
Kyoko Hori is a bright and popular high school girl, contrasting with her classmate, the gloomy and apparently nerdy glasses-wearing guy Izumi Miyamura. Outside of school, Hori is a homebody who dresses down and takes care of the household and her younger brother Souta. She tries to keep this a secret from her classmates. One day when Souta returned home with a nosebleed, he was helped by a guy who has a bunch of earrings and tattoos as well as a punk-styled look. The guy recognizes her and reveals himself to be Miyamura. The two agree to keep their real personas a secret from their schoolmates, but start relating to each other as friends and later as a couple.
