Stopping kidding myself that the future me will be more motivated to complete a task.

In the day, i procrastinate and then tell myself I will be more motivated to complete a task (or work) at night. When nighttime comes around, i tell myself i am better off saving it for the the next day where i will feel refreshed and more productive. And repeat. And repeat again.

Is anyone else guilty of this? It's a vicious cycle. I have to stop kidding myself that the future me will be more motivated because it's almost never the case.
