When you plant a crop in the ground and you depend on only rain to water it, that crop will not grow, it will only grow for its season(raining season) but dry season it will wither.

Fruitfulness does not have a season, when God told Adam to be fruitful and replenish the earth God did not place a season. When God told Abraham that he would be fruitful, God did not place a season. But these people worked out their fruitfulness.
