Some parents are never satisfied no matter how hard you try, care, do your best. They simply need someone to scold and kick at. You could ask your parents but if you ask me it's better, more healthy to be the great individual you are. If your parents can be happy with that, do not respect and accept you for who you are, there's nothing you can do. Parents can not choose their children and us children can not choose our parents. It's not said there is a bond, we like each other or ever will. If this is the case my only advice is to go your own way. This is your life, not your parents'.
