venezuelan torrejas : a crunchy and delicious fried candy the ingredients are: 250gm of wheat flour 2 eggs half a teaspoon of salt 30 ml vegetable oil 20 ml of water and for sprinkling sugar

preparation: in a bowl add all the flour together with the salt and the oil, mix it all and little by little add water until you notice that the dough is compact and comes off the hands. then proceed to place it on the counter and sprinkle wheat flour, and knead for about 5 to 10 minutes, then let it rest for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes proceed to cut portions of 30gm small and then turn it into a very thin pizza and fry it in plenty of oil until golden brown and then place on absorbent paper and very quickly sprinkle sugar on both sides and ready to enjoy the rich Venezuelan torrejas.
