What is the biggest secret you were told but could never tell?

When I was in my early 20’s, I worked at a local bar. I have many secrets from that time, but this was crazy. The bar owner and his wife were estranged, and everyone figured they were both cheating, but no one knew with who. One night I wondered into the back office to find the owner making out with one of the customers, who was a friend. They begged me not to tell anyone, as she was married and so was he! I kept my mouth shut and a few days later, someone saw them making out after closing through a window! The girl looked a lot like me, and by the next day, it was all over the place that I was the one having an affair with the owner! I couldn’t defend myself without giving up the secret. They ended up telling their spouses, but of course their relationship didn’t last long either! Everyone then just assumed he had been cheating with both of us! I never said anything, nobody would have believed me anyway! So I sacrificed my reputation to keep that secret!
