Everytime I wear my uniform (full white) Some people would asked... " Anong course mo ga?" I replied..." Midwifery po " 🙂 She added... " Ba't midwife? Ba't hindi ka na lang nag nursing?"

I don't understand why some people look down to us , midwives. They never know how hard this course is, hindi ito easy-easy lang. Promise! They never know what struggles we faced just to complete our cases, prenatal, finding pregnant mommies out there , kasama ang init ng araw. Some of us fainted in the middle of the field kasi nga sa sobrang pagod sa kakahanap ng buntis. Hindi po biro na lakad ka ng lakad tapos bawat tao at bahay na makikita mo tatanungin mo ng " MAY BUNTIS PO BA DITO?" Tapos Yung mga buntis ayaw pa lumabas ng bahay. Minsan kahit may buntis naman sa bahay nila, sinasabing walang buntis dito. I don't know why, kung ganon reaction Nila pag nakikita nila kami sa area nila hahahah. Magaganda naman kami . Chaar😅 But , one thing I know !!! That, WE MIDWIVES, are NOT JUST MIDWIVES... Our role in the community is vital and much needed for life.
