too high. 😱
I was born with astigmatism so i grew up wearing glasses
Ganon ba? How old were you when you started wearing one?
I think... around 5? I was still in preschool then
Grabeee. Kmusta nman lens mo nyan? Pero i think may lens nman na mataas ang eye grade pero manipis no? 😧
Makapal na pag regular lens pero pag uv coated or blue lens, manipis lang since compact
UV coated sayo?
A bit pricey but at least instant shades when i go out plus it helps lower eye grade for some people. Doesn't work on me though
That's photochromic or transition lenses, correct?
Photochromic is more accurate XD blue lens changes a bit darker than transition lens so i find it better
I see. Thanks for explaining 😅
My first eye glasses has a grade of 150/75 it was an astigmatism too. When I resigned last 2018 I didnt wear any eyeglass because I am at home lang naman until ayun nagpaparamdam na naman mata ko ngayon 😂 Last year plan ko na mag eyeglasses ulit. Nagpa grado nko.
I have no idea what 175/150 means. Here you have -2.75 or +3 or something like that. If 175 stands for our 1.75 it's not that bad. My aunt has -8 and a friend's husband and children around that number too.
I assume if you have no glasses you live without them and deal with it just like anyone with bad sight or a blind one does.
I just exaggerated what I said. 😅
Yup, 175 stands for 1.75 and so. Wow, -8 is a lot. I wonder how bad their eyesight are 🥺
It is a lot indeed. I guess it'close to blind? I know one daughter of my friend has over -12 now. I have no idea how much vision is left.
Is it possible to get her lasik surgery? I think it works most of those who have astigmatism.
Laser surgery doesn't work forever only for a few years. I think if you are young they might prefer to wait longer. I can't help but I find it a scary idea what they do with the eyes. What if it goes wrong? These days glasses are seen as fashion and the thick glasses are no longer needed. I just wonder how nearly the whole family can have that problem.
Yup. It could happen also. Because of technology, even the kids nowadays are wearing eyeglasses already.
I see. Reading glass pala.
Astigmatism really sucks, I got glasses with 300 eye grade on my left eye.
I knoooow. I hope our eyes don't get worse 💔
375/200 eye grade based on last check last year. I'm blind ahahaa
