Plagiarism in read.cash

I am visiting read.cash frequently but posting rarely. What I've found are splendid articles by high skilled authors that could actually write a book on their own if they find the time and motivation. Lately, I keep encountering plagiarised content that is either directly copy-pasted or copied, paraphrased with the use of online tools, and then presented as someone's work.

This is a dishonest and shameful act of course and I hate anyone doing that. I reported countless such articles and I've noticed that read.cash takes care of these reports asap. Still I've wasted many hours doing that and to be honest, I don't have time to waste.

While trying to research and find out the source of obvious paraphrased plagiarised content, I questioned myself, why am I spending time with this. I'm honest and I also try to make some money online through various activities. What this research on plagiarised content is offering me? The answer is nothing. I am not responsible for them, others should be and I only began doing it, after I noticed some silly comments on my posts.

Anyway I won't keep doing that since there is no incentive. I still hate plagiarism and people that think they can get away with stealing other people's ideas. Although I won't be wasting my time on this any longer as I don't profit. I will protect my work though and report anyone that plagiarises my content.

This is sucha good awareneaa for all thoae related people. Their is no rules that you cannot copy and share it but if you have to then you need to give sources rellevent to that

I did this also for a while, then read.cach introduced a software solution that automatically marked the plagiarism. But then some authors complained that they wanted to publish their own blogs elsewhere and publish the content on the blogs and on read.cash. As a result, read.cash deactivated the automatic detection of plagiarism. I hope that he will activate it again.

I certainly agree with that. I hope it will be activated again. Plagiarism is a difficult problem that must be fought in all possible ways.

At some point I got tired of checking if the content is not plagiarism and limited myself to authors I am pretty sure are not cheating. Only to these authors I give my few satoshis.

Hey there, Well, it's more sad than that: plagiarism is stealing! Unscrupulous, because he wants to make money with the contents of others. Why? Because they can't be creative, or they think they can't be.

Generally, now I publish my original article first here, then I plagiarize it (myself) everywhere!! haha

As a matter of fact, it is not plagiarism if you are copying your own work. One cannot steal one's own property. But you already know that, of course. All readers may not know, however; the general knowledge about copyright is very superficial and insufficient.

Thank you for the time spent to do that rigorous work. The effort is not wasted, I believe it will be compensated by read.cash and people who value the fight against plagiarism. Kudos to you for that action!

I totally support you in this. Plagiarism is really bad. I have also seen posts copied from even the internet and pasted here. I hope read.cash solves this problem with effectivenesa

Read.cash have lots of articles that you can't really be able to report plagiarism even if you wanted. Let's hope that people's conscience helps them to do the right thing. Read.cash have lots of creative writers and I have learned a lot from this

Hi zenthereum, and also anyone reporting this. Thank you for your activity, but please don't report copy-pasted articles. The reason is that we're working on a systematic solution to this problem. It's just not feasible for us to analyze each article by hand, but soon this problem will be gone. I can't tell you exactly when.
