I Love You, Goodbye

"I will be missing you," the girl hugged her lover tightly, won't let go but they have to leave now. "Take care as always."The boy hugged her back and planted a kiss on her forehead. "I'm right here waiting for you,don't worry about me," he added. Five years passed already since that day the girl bid the boy farewell.She likes to pursue her dream in becoming a doctor someday,and was not held back by her sweet and supportive boyfie.. He was just a farmer,he loves the soil,the first born among 6 siblings. She is a star,an only child, while he is on the ground. Their family status is so much apart, nevertheless their relationship was not hindered by their parents. They were inseparable, childhood friends to lovers when they were in highschool..A bench on top of the hill,at the middle of the boy's vegetable garden was their favorite hang-out spot..It was where this young man reminisced their memories whenever nostalgia strikes,a place where he recalls their promises-his driving force. Five years had gone by, with this young man's determination and perseverance was he able to construct their would-be house.He was supporting his younger siblings who are now on college Another year to wait,another year and their dreams would be and promises would be fulfilled. One year is nothing compared to those five long years. One year had gone by, crops had been on the goodside of market for the last six years. He was able to make good investments including a car and truck for his crop deliveries and a pretty savings on the bank. Up until that time he loves the soil. It was his second from his girlfriend he had not seen for six long years. Their lawn was freshly mowed, the house was as usual vibrant always revealing a welcoming sight. But today's different, everyone's busy preparing the arrival of their young mademoiselle.. Unaware, the young man on his mid 20's was busy on his vegetable plot preparing for the plantation of the next crop. Resting on the bench at the top of the hill he can see the village not far.. His sight came to a spot... A luxurius car was parking on the parking lot of a grand house.He anxiusly waited for the car to open. A nicely,good looking guy came out of the driver's side. He went to the door behind and opened it. The young man at the hilltop anxius anticipated.. Minutes passed and the guy at the car closed the door behind,in his arms was a bouncy baby.The door beside the drivers side opened revealing a beautiful young lady. She came out the door and scanned the area around. Her eyes sent her sight unintentionally at that top of the hill.. Their eyes met. One moment it was joy, the world seems to stop. The guy with the baby has reached her side, laid his hand on her shoulder then she was awaken from that moment of slumber. She wrapped her hands on his waist and turned around and walked to the house. That moment he begun to falter.. How long had he been in that state, he could not remember.. "The skies are beautiful.But it's cold and late." A voice,yes that voice he had longed to hear for ages came from behind. It caught him off-guard and suddenly turned around.. She talked and talked yet the only word he heard and understood was, "I was already engaged and ready to be wed.We have a child,"her words.. "I wish you your family's happiness.Don't worry about me, I can manage." With all his courage,he stood up. Gave her final hug but this time it was him who said farewell. "Go to them, "he said."I love you so but now I'll continue on my own.
