aside from boosting an article or articles boosted that would place an article on the top of home page, what else makes an article be on the first few articles present following a boosted article at the home page? am just curius about it because you see newly published articles are following those boosted ones..

In the Hot section it is the number of comments and likes.

I'm not really sure though. I think it is placed on a random manner. Not sure if it's just me but it changes whenever I reload the homepage.
ah ok.. maybe it was my weak net connection that's why even if I keep refreshing and reloading homepage yet those on it were just the same
It changes each time you refresh the homepage. At some instances, those articles that are newly created by new users appear on top after the boosted articles. Also, the highef the likes and comments of an article, the higher the chance to make it on top. These are based on my experiences and observations po.
Yes I also noticed that different articles are placed on top every refresh but I also noticed that those you said with higher likes and comments are consistently on top maybe atleast for a day, or maybe just my internet connection which is not functioning well so that homepage is not being refreshed😊
Maybe try to unpublish, them publish to other community? I don't know it helps tho to gain new view from another set of people
I guess there's no need to unpublish if you're only to transfer submission of an article to another community. I also tried to do that but I did not really noticed it if it was placed on the homepage
Sometimes it's ok not to post to community mam, I tried once without a community I saw my article on the homepage , subscription only.
