Uninstalled, reinstalled and uninstalled again!
Hello dear friends, I hope you are in the best of health and happiness today.
I have been in a bit disturbed about the politics lately, all the pinktards' hatred in their campaigns and all the hate that few politician's supporters shouts while rallying in the streets ar giving me stress.
Some had lost thier dignity being carried away by their emotions posting rants and curses in Facebook. Bashing is every where: some says they have been biased.
Some says they will have no classes under a Marcos administration, and some says they do not want martial law once more and I was like hey UP, you're not the only college in the Philippines you know an like does the situation demands a martial law? Well maybe we need one if they will not stop their rallies and panggugulo.
Some even blaming Marcos' win on the drop os the stock market. Like why on earth would they say that? Kulang nalang siguro sa sabihin nila kaya mababa ang presyo ng crypto ay dahil din kay president-elect Marcos diba.
Well I am not an expert or I am not anywhere near the comelec or wherever the votes was counted. All I did was that after I voted, I checked the receipt that the PCOS machine had ejected and saw that what I voted for was the ones that came out of the small paper.
And have you read about my article about me being unproductive because of the ebooks that I see in Facebook?
This and the toxicity of the people made me uninstall the app from my phone. I had peace of mind, and was able to do my job in my workplace and had written articles in the last few days.
But I cannot possibly leave Facebook, I have been planning to use it in my long plan business in crochet. I have set to remember my account name and password from Google so if my email is open in the office computer. There I can still spend some of my precious time but I am very glad the "aw, snap!" happens and when it does, it's my que to get back to work or make a blog.
My co-workers watches videos and news about the rocus and they so it with a full volume making me curious about it: rallies, interviews with the winning senators bashes, celebrities making an opinion like they are on an expert mode.
Earlier, I installed Facebook again. I was hoping to get an update about the election counts because we ran out of load for TV. But what I saw there is even more toxic: rhee crocheter friends I have are fighting: more bashing. I even unfollowed people to keep toxicity out, I filtered those which are crochet related people but here is what they do.
I have had enough, so I uninstalled it again. But one thing that caught my eye was that lots of friends are changing their profile pictures. Why so?
Now back to those young Filipino people who have been in the streets shouting for freedom, democracy, and whatever they demand, I wonder, how do they do in school? Are they responsible enough in their own homes that when their parents needs hp they will lend a helping hand? Do they know about what life is? Have they been feeding their own by themselves?
I just hope that those kids will realize that not all that they have envisioned is good: not all they wanted the government would be is right and not all the wanted, they can have. This is the reality of life. I hope they will find peace soon.
Thank you for reading until this far.
