Gift gone Wrong

let me tell you a story which happened yesterday. So two weeks ago, no, I guess it was on teh 8.30 sake, I ordered a 32GB memory card for my husband., The original price cost 1,000.00 pesos then it was on sale that day for 245 pesos only. By the looks of it, I got 75%discount on my purchase. The price was not eh cheapest in the store, some other cards were even sold cheaper with the same specifications.

My husband's phone has only a 32Gb ROM and since he has got lots of apps installed on his phone and took a lot of pictures and videos in his daily life, the memory is running low and the Optimizer is always sending him notifications to clear some of his data thus I bought a memory card for him. Buying a storage card is always cheaper than buying a new phone, lols.

The link above is the video of me opening it to check teh parcel. When Ton installed teh memory card, I was even amazed because what was written outside was only 32Gb but the phone read a 67Gb total memory on the memory card

I brought it home and gave him to install on his phone. It was our first time using a memory card so we don't really have any idea bout it and transferring data.

I asked him to transfer his files on the memory card to the phone will be free from its long-carried burden. I even told him to back his pictures on my phone so I could back it up on the office computer but he just told me that there is no need because the pictures in the memory card will be safe.

He does teh most of it but then a few minutes later, he complained to me that he cannot see the pictures in the gallery.

He used to have over a thousand pictures and videos and now only 77 are left for the pictures and when I opened it, the majority were corrupted. Even the videos do not play well.

I tole him to wait for it to load, but when the morning came, nothing happened. All those pictures and memories that he kept on his phone are now gone, and it happened because of my gift.

A gift was supposed to give happiness but the complete opposite happened. I was very sorry for what happened, but teh good thing is that some of his pictures and videos were already backed up, So I was thinking of transferring them back on my phone and sharing it with him so that he will not feel so much loss.
