Failed to keep their marriage together Back when I was a child my greatest insecurity in life is not having a complete family. My mother and father got separated when I was just 3 years old and I was left together with my older brother who is 5 years old that time in my grandmother's care (my father's mom). My mother was working and settled for good in Manila with her other sisters. But there were a few times that I got to visit her since I have an aunt (my father's sister) who was a public school teacher in Quezon City. My only wish that time was for my father and mother to be together again. Fortunately though, my wish was granted when I was 9 years old. Both of them decided to get back in each other arms and married to secure the relationship. That was the time when my mother conceived my youngest brother. My father and mother decided that we should live on our own that is why we move out from my grandma's house but still in the same area. Life was really hard back then but we manage to live. My father was a fish vendor while my mother was a plain housewife. Everything was fine in the early years that my mother and father got together. But years passed that a simple misunderstanding often leads to a serious fight. It has been a toxic relationship already that both of them decided to end their relationship for good. Both of them are at fault and I think it is better for them to be separated because love can no longer save the relationship. *****Love isn't enough***** I guess love couldn't save the relationship or maybe the love between my mother and father isn't enough to save it as well. They have a lot of excess baggage from the past and they aren't totally heal from it. I witnessed their arguments back then and honestly I am sick and tired of it. I am already in high school and as an emotional teenager I spent most of the time at school than at home to spare myself from the stress and tension between my parents. That could be one of the reasons I am not close with them because they have a lot of time for nonsense arguments than having a family time. *****Different Beliefs***** My only wish back when I was a kid was to go to church every Sunday with family. It didn't happened though. My father is a Roman Catholic while my mother is a Born Again Christian. Both of them went to church separately. Funny right? I am baptized as Roman Catholic but there were times that I went with my mother at their church. I thought they can manage their differences but I was totally wrong. Sometimes it is the cause of their few misunderstanding. Another reason of their never ending fight is miscommunication. *****Miscommunication and Pride***** Most of the time when my mother and father had a hot arguments they end up not talking with each other for a few days. We had a small house so I really don't know how they manage not to talk maybe it because of so much pride. Though they will be okay after days but since they haven't had final discussion about their recent fight, eventually it will another cause of arguments. Both of my parents lack communication, they are just full of expectation but they don't communicate well, that I think the reason why they have a shaky relationship. I believe even in a healthy relationship between husband and wife there will always be a series of misunderstanding. To be honest, my husband and I had some heated arguments in the past too, we also didn't talk for days but he was always the one who will approach me and say sorry. Maybe that is one thing I got from my parent, my so much pride, that is why it is harder for me to say sorry even though I know I am at fault. I am trying my very best to remove this bad habit and recently I think I am improving because on my husband's last vacation we didn't have a petty quarrel. Someone told me, that to be able to have a better relationship someone needs to lower down his/her pride. *****Closing Thoughts***** To be honest, I envy those family that are together even with all the hardships they have been through. When I met my husband's family, I asked myself if I deserve to be a part of them. I admire their relationship and I told myself this is the kind of family I had always been dreaming of. Although my parents failed their marriage, I honestly hope and wish that my marriage would not suffer the same thing. Right now, my siblings and I have our own families and I am glad that both of my brothers marriage life are good and very far from what we experienced with our own parents. I know, my parents are happy now knowing that their children didn't have to take the same path that they did. They may not made it until the end like what they had promise in their wedding bows but it is better to be separated than continue hurting each other being together. ***Disclaimer: All of the things I have written in this article are purely based from my own experience. My all time favorite movies of Tom Hanks Tom Hanks is one of my favorite hollywood actor. I love every movie that he is in, although I haven't watch all of them. I started loving him after I watched the movie Forrest Gump with my bestfriend back when I was college. She was actually the one who liked Tom Hanks the most, she just influenced me and later on, I end up loving Tom Hanks as well. So today let me share to you some of my favorite movies starring Tom Hanks. *~~Forrest Gump~~* Out of all his movies this is on my number one list. Run Forrest! Run! This is the famous line that I remember most about the movie. The movie is about the life story of Forrest Gump from his childhood until his growing years. There were so many people from the past that he met including Elvis Presley who used to be their tenant in the boarding house run by his mother. He got a lot of achievements and he is also a lowkey millionaire because of his shrimp business. And of course the highlight of his story is his one sided love for Jenny. It started back when they were just kids until they met when they have grown up. Though I really hate Jenny because he keeps on rejecting Forrest but in the end they got married and got a child named Forrest Gump Jr. It is really a nice movie that I have watched it many times. *~~Cast away~~* Another great movie from Tom Hanks. If you are familiar with the survivor reality shows, you should never missed this wonderdul movie as it has something to do with survival in the island all alone. I have written an article about the lessons I have learned from this movie. If you want to check it, kindly click **here**. https://read.cash/@yhanne/cast-away-24c0acb8 As I was saying the movie is about a man named Chuck Noland who is the only survivor from the plane crash. He lived in the island for about 4 years and learned a lot of survival skills. His determination to survive even though it feels like hopeless is something I have admire for. And who would never forget Wilson? If you want to know about who is Wilson is, you must watch this movie. Also this movie breaks my heart as well. I really feel sorry for Chuck because his inspiration to live back in the island got another family when he was able to come back home. *~~Terminal~~* Next on my list is the movie entitled Terminal. What would you do if one day you arrived at the John F. Kennedy airport but then suddenly the immigration holds your passport and unfortunately doesn't recognize it. You can't enter the US and at the same time can't go home to your own country because your passport is considered as invalid. It is a big disaster right? If you want to know the answer to the question you should watch this movie too. Tom Hanks as Victor Navorski experienced it and the movie tells about the great friendship he discovered while literally living in the airport for nine months. The portrayal of Tom Hanks is really on top notch, most specially if he is talking in a different dialect. Well of course, the story won't be completed without the love part. *~~Closing thought~~* Tom Hanks is indeed a great actor. In fact all of his movies were wonderful. Though one thing in common I noticed for my top three favorite movies is that he wasn't lucky with his lovelife. Hahaha! He didn't get a happy ending with the female protaganist. But the lessons in each movie was more important than having a happy ending. The picture above is my friend that I had mentioned earlier, the one who likes Tom Hanks a lot. She tagged me this picture a few years ago when she had the chance to meet Tom Hanks in person on one of his book signing. So lucky right? How about you? What is your favorite movie from Tom Hanks? Care to share it in the comment section below. By the way, since you are here kindly check my **previous posts** below. My Thursday routine Today I woke up early because last night the Math teacher of my youngest son sent a message that she will have an online class at around 730 in the morning. Her usual schedule is every Wednesday however since the limited face to face classes has began she had to move it by Thursday. She is one of the teacher that I really admire most because she is trying to teach her students despite her busy schedule. And Mathematics is really a hard subject and as of this moment their lessons is about finding perimeter and area of polygons. To be honest Math is my favorite subject except for the polygon thing. Or maybe I don't remember our teacher in Math back in my elementary days teaching about this lesson. If I remember it correctly our teachers in Math focus on teaching us on the multiplication of 2 to 3 digit numbers, same as the long division process and all. It was such a great headache. Do you agree? I leave my son to do some household chores. I folded the clothes that has been dried up the other day and I went to the laundry area to wash our dirty clothes too. The weather is very hot so I guess it was the right time to wash it. It was only few since I already wash the other batches last Sunday. I guess this is what happened when I woke up too early. My oldest son was still sleeping so I woke him up so he can eat breakfast. He doesn't have online class today because some of their teachers were busy with the limited in person classes as I have mentioned earlier. While I was at our bedroom, I checked our little puppies. They don't have official name yet, but I we'd like to call them Light (the white one) because he was born in the morning and I like Light Yagame from death note too. The other one is Night (the black one) because she was born at night. They were so adorable and they are now 18 days old. A few days back they already opened their eyes and it was so amazing. They no longer want to stay in the whelping box I made instead they prefer to sleep on the floor. They can't stand on their own yet so in order for them to move they keep crawling and it looks like they were swimming. And lastly they grew bigger now and I am hoping that they'll grow healthy in the coming days. I went downstairs after checking the puppies and my youngest son was so happy because he was done with his second class. He happily told me that his teacher once called him for recitation and he answered it correctly. I also check my noise and read cash account from time to time while busy doing the household chores. While checking it, my eyes keep closing so I took a nap for about 20 minutes or so. And then, after I had a little rest I went to the kitchen to prepare our lunch. My oldest son is in charge of cooking rice and I am glad that he was done with it and both of the boys took a bath already. I prepared sauteed cabbage for lunch that I know my kids will love. I was supposed to cook pork adobo but I change my mind and cooked the second option instead. My husband called right after our lunch. He was done with his duty and I know he was quite tired. There is a 12 hour difference between the Philippines and Puerto Rico. He was still adjusting from his new duty as an office boy that is why he got out from work very late. We had our usual conversation until we bid goodbye. It was a very hot afternoon so I continue washing the laundry that I left while doing some errands downstairs. I hang them one by one and hoping that it will be dry off fast. I checked my oldest son messages on his fb and there's a reminder from his Mapeh teacher about the outputs to be pass on before the end of this month for their quarter 3 grades. Upon checking it, there is one more output that he needs to do. Dancing the ***itik itik folk dance***. Although I hate dancing I have no choice but to assist him for the sake of his grade. We practice and I told him that it doesn't need to be perfect since we aren't really a good dancer. Tomorrow I am going to video the final output and then pass it to his Mapeh teacher. Finally, after a busy day I am going to have a full rest while checking some of the articles here. That is for my today's routine and yeah tomorrow is another challenging day. Thanks for dropping by! Annyeong! Before I end this up, kindly check my previous article if you have time and thanks in advance. Feel your fear and do it anyway ***Have you ever felt fear to try out new things in this lifetime? Of course I know your answer is yes.*** We all have fear most specially when it will be the first time to try it. Take for example the kids who are going to school for the first time. I witness myself how my youngest son was scared to be left with his teacher during his first time at nursery. So to assure him I am not leaving, I stayed outside the school for the whole duration of class. Well that was only for two hours. He was eventually looking outside to see me. It goes for another days, until he got used to it and later on was okay with his new surrounding. As you can see, ***fear is an emotion or a feeling that something bad is going to happen or someone is dangerous that may cause trouble or pain.*** I thought of writing this article because my husband is acting weird again as if it is his first time going out of the country. He was always like that and the separation anxiety is real during the first month of his contract. His fear this time gets stronger because he doesn't knew someone from his new assigned ship. It started because he flew all alone and it was the first time that happened to him. Usually when he reached the airport there would be at least someone that has the same flight with him. Honestly I am used to it for many years, so I always told him positive words that can somehow give him an assurance that everything is gonna be allright in the end. These are some of my reminders to him that I hope can give him strength for the next 7 months. ~~Feel your fears and do it anyway~~ You can never escape your fear and the best thing you can do is face it no matter what. Running away from it is an act of cowardness. And in this world we all knew that being a coward is something only a loser can do. We should all have the strength to overcome our fears in order to reach success. Don't let it pull you down instead show your fears that you are the master and that you can easily tear them down. ~~Expect the unexpected~~ How do you feel when you are expecting something and yet it didn't happened. It hurts right? I have experienced it many times and the pain I felt is really bad. Sometimes having fear over things can lead us to overthinking too. Expectations will start to cloud our mind and if anything didn't happen we become discouraged. Being discourage at work is a no no because it might affect your performance. So might as well expect the unexpected and accept the things that we cannot control. ~~Act positively all the way~~ Having fear attracts negative emotions and bad vibes. Eventually when we are afraid of something there is a tendency to act negatively. Start having positive feeling despite being afraid, although this is hard to do but it is only you who can do it. Don't expect someone to do it for you because it is your own battle and your victory can only be achieved if you have the guts to win over your fear. I believe being optimistic can help lessen your fears and of course your willingness to do it. ~~Relax and enjoy your journey~~ This is the last thing that I keep reminding my husband. Sometimes we are too scared that we forgot the word relax. Working abroad is not that easy though the salary is good but the work load is a lot plus the homesickness is another thing. Stress and pressures from your head along with your other co workers might give you headache but no matter what, learn to have fun, relax and enjoy the work. Closing Thoughts Having fear is normal. The best way to overcome it is to feel it. Be brave enough to handle it in your own way and then overcome it later on. Don't let your fear block the success you deserve in life. Let me end this article with the nice quotes about fear I found on the net. ***"Being scared is part of being alive, accept it and walk through it" Robin S. Sharma*** That would be all for today's article. Thanks for dropping by and please if you have time you can check some of my previous articles here. Mall time and a short visit at Ikea Philippines Just three days before my husband went out of the country, he received a message from their company that his dispatch papers were ready for pick up. These are the documents that he needed to show at the airport authorities in order for him to be allowed travel outside the country. It was Wednesday afternoon and going at Mall of Asia where their office is located is a headache because of the major traffic within the city. We're supposed to pass at Edsa highway but then the traffic was terrible, so Anthony looked for a better alternate route that will take us to their office. Then realizations both struck us that our car isn't supposed to be on the road since because of coding. I checked the internet for further information and glad it says the number coding is suspended since it was holy week. We arrived at the location past 4 pm, my husband went straight to the office while me and the kids went to the mall nearby. There were things that my husband needed to buy for his travel abroad. It was much cheaper here than buying it there. He told me that he would just give me a message once he was done at the office. The kids and I went inside the mall because it was freaking hot outside. We were about to buy coke float and bff fries at Mcdonalds however the coke float isn't available so we went at DQ to buy blizzard instead. A few minutes more later, I received a message from Anthony that he got his papers and already at the grocery, he was asking us to see him there. We finished the grocery after more than an hour and when we got out of the grocery the dark is starting to cover the sky. We took the groceries to the carpark and went back to the mall to have a little stroll and of course eventually eat our dinner. We took our dinner at Savory. This is probably one of our favorite restaurant because they have delicious food (mostly chinese foods) yet the price is budget friendly. Were done at around 8 pm and we were ready to go home, but then on our way back to the parking lot, we passed on the entrance of Ikea. We honestly wanted to see what's inside because somebody told us that everything is great inside. The original plan was just to take a look inside and see it for ourself. The store is closing in just an hour so we don't have plans on buying anything because there was a long line of people at the counter as we passed by. Or so I thought. What is Ikea? You can click here if you want to know more about the store. https://moneyinc.com/ikea-facts/ I have heard a lot about Ikea products but I don't know exactly what and how do they products look like. Glad they opened the first Ikea store in the Philippines located at Mall of Asia, unfortunately there was no chance for me to visit it. A relative of ours once even told me that I should go at Ikea but I have to be there early because there were so many things that I would probably like. Finally that night was my chance, so out of curiosity my husband along with the kids explore the wide store. Upon entering, the store looks like a storage because there were a lot of boxes and it doesn't look like the usual department store. It turns out that those boxes were actually the product, so if you wanted to buy one you don't have to ask for new stocks since the item is already there. You can just get one and proceed with other items. Walking forward inside, there were so many things that caught my attention. As a fan of diy item, I now declare that this is going to be my favorite store. Honestly, if only I have enough time I might really stay longer, however the store was closing and yet we haven't been into the other floor. There were items that a bit pricey but there were some products that is very budget friendly. We promised not to buy anything, but because promises are made to be broken, we ended up buying bathroom organizer and some picture frames. We wanted to buy some more but our time was very much limited. And at that exact moment we were thinking about our newly born puppies that we left at home so after we pay the items at the cashier, all of us hurriedly went out but I told myself that I will surely be back at Ikea store to fully explore every little things that they offer. I wanted to try their cafe inside because their food looks yummy but a lot of people were lining up, so maybe next time. So for those who loves diy product you should really check Ikea store because they have so many things to offer. Our visit was just a short trip that is why next time I will make sure to take a look at every corner of the store to find the best buys. By the way the puppies were fine when we got home. That's for today article. Thank you for coming and dropping by. And hope to see you in my next article. Annyeong!! No oven, no problem introducing banana cupcake It is Monday and you know it is a busy day most specially for those who are working in a field or an office. As for me, I ain't that busy today, surprisingly because the kids don't have online class. It seems like the teachers were busy at the limited face to face classes that is why those who are attending the online classes before will have asynchronous class at the moment. It doesn't bother me at all since starting this week the quarter 4 began and it will only be 8 more weeks and the academic year is about to end. Looking forward for in person classes in the next academic year for everyone and not just selected for a better education. Moving forward this afternoon, I got nothing to do because I have finished my laundry yesterday. I wanted to take a nap however it was a little too late because I had to say goodnight to hubby first. Then I remember I supposed to steam cupcake yesterday but because I was tired from doing nothing in short I just got lazy so I told myself that I will do it the next day. So today I congratulated myself because I won over my lazy self. You might wonder why steam instead of baking, well it is because we don't have oven. During the early days of pandemic since I got nothing to do, I was inspired by my sister in law in making some baked product since they have oven. So what I did was search at youtube on how to make cake even without oven, steamer was the answer. So for today article I am going to share you on how to steam banana cupcake. Ingredients 2 cups all purpose flour 6 pcs ripe banana 1/3 cup oil or melted butter 2 small eggs 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 tsp salt 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 140 ml evaporated milk 1 tsp vanilla Chocolate chip (optional) Procedure First thing you need to do is crush the ripe banana is a separate bowl. Then add the eggs and other wet ingredients. In a separate bowl, sift all purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add the salt next. After that, start mixing the wet and dry ingredients. Then add the remaining ingredients as well. By the way, I forgot to mention that your steamer should also be ready. I set the fire on a medium heat and the water started to boil just in time when the mixture were ready. Prepare your puto cups with cupcake liner and then put at least 1/8 cup of mixture in every cups. You can put some chocolate chips on top of it too. Transferred the puto cups in the steamer and wait for at least 18 to 20 minutes. Another reminder, don't forget to put cloth on the cover of steamer so that the moist won't be transfer into the cupcakes. Avoid checking it and wait for the right time to cook for a better result. When your timer stops, you can now check it and tranferred the finish product so that the steamer will be ready for the second batch. And the cupcake is all ready and you can dig it in. This is perfect for afternoon snacks and anytime you want to eat something sweet. My boys loved this a lot. And since I yielded two dozens of cupcake, the leftover will be for breakfast tomorrow. My final thoughts So for those who doesn't have oven in their house like me, you can try making cupcake using steamer. I actually tried doing chocolate and red velvet cupcake with these process and the taste was just as good as the bake one. I would really like to commend our technology because one of it advantages is giving us basic knowledge and improving our skills. With all their tutorials that can be found on the net, we can learn basic skills such as cooking, baking and others. That would be all for today. Thanks for dropping by and hope to see you in my next article. Lead image from Unsplash while the rest are mine. https://unsplash.com/s/photos/cupcake

The struggles of a stay at home mom Never in my whole life I have imagine to be a full time mother in the future. When I was younger I always dream to be working at an office, get home and get a kiss from my kids and husband. That was always been my plan all along because I don't want to be dependent to my husband when it comes to finances. But destiny has a different plan all along. I am already a regular employee at the company I am working when I got pregnant. Although it was unexpected but of course I accepted it wholeheartedly. The company I am working with is very considerate and doesn't have problem with my situation. I applied for all the benefits I could get and continue working until I took my maternity leave. I was back after 60 days but it has been so hard to leave my newly born child. That time, my mother was there to take care of him for the meantime until we found someone who could fully take care of him. My husband was working abroad too so there isn't someone who can take care of him. Meanwhile my mother in law wasn't in good condition as she was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure. That lead me no choice but to resign from work after 3 months after getting back to it. It has been more than a decade since I decided to be a full time mother. Honestly speaking, I could say that I love it from the bottom of my heart but I would be hypocrite to say that I didn't had a hard time going through it. Thus, today I am gonna share the struggles that I faced all through out my full time mother journey. *No day off (24/7 duty)* When you are working in a field or an office there maybe a day or two for rest days, however being a stay at home you don't get any of it. The obligation for your family should be 24/7. There is no time for rest. I experienced this most specially when my kids were just around 2 or 3. Their age difference was only 1 year and 9 months, so I was like taking care of two babies. It was really hard. I am breastfeeding my youngest while doing my best to attend the needs of my toodler then. The worst part was when one of them is sick. I remember one time that my eldest got sick, and we have to take him to hospital in the middle of the night, the only problem was that I can't take my youngest inside the hospital so we have to bring my mother in law with us to take care of the baby while me and my husband took my eldest inside the hospital. It was a very stressful night but then God has given me a lot of strength to overcome it. *Budgetting is too hard* I used to earn money so most of the time I share the expenses with my husband at an early stage of us being together. Though my salary is way less than him I make sure to contribute when it comes to our finances. Me being an independent woman. But that change of course when I was no longer making money, instead I became financially dependent on my husband's income. At first it was all good since we were living in my in law's house. We also share the budget inside the house and we don't have any investment that time yet so I don't have any problem when in comes to budgetting. Of course as years gone by, the kids are growing so as the expenses too. Taking care of our finances is really making my head ache most of the time. I have to make sure I delegated our expenses well or else we'll end up empty wallet. ***No social life*** I used to go out with my friends back when I was working and doesn't have a child yet. Like the usual gathering that you do with your colleague most specially after payday expect it that someone will make a plan of going out and of course it is fun chilling out from time to time after a stressful duty. However, when I became committed with my little family, I began forgetting all those stuffs and even ignoring some of my friends. I wanted to focus on my new career that is why I hardly meet some of them. Another factor is that, I live far away from them so it was really hard to meet each other. We can only update on fb very minimal too as I don't update my status there much. Besides taking care of my little ones really takes up my time so updating my status on any social media wasn't my priority. *Depression* I often felt depressed at one point in my motherhood journey. As you can see, being a full time mom takes a lot of extra effort in order for you to be successful. But once you didn't meet the standards, you suddenly questioned yourself. Am I doing the right thing? Or is this supposed to be like this? Sometimes I asked myself is this what I really like? The hard part was that since I am not open with other people from my circle, the burden only surrounds within me. It was an inner battle that I could only win, because if not I would end up cray cray.😅 ***My final thoughts*** Despite all the challenges I have mentioned above, I could say that everything I have been through within almost 12 years of being a stay at home mother is definitely worth it. The fun, excitement, struggles and challenges in all those years keeps me stronger and continously gives me experiences and memories that no one can ever take away from me. There is no certain amount that can compensate the hardship I have been. But seeing the milestones and little accomplishments of my children, I could say it was really worth it. ***Disclaimer. All the things that are written in my article are purely based from my own experience.*** All images used are from Unsplash

Where did our money go? What's up beautiful humans? The last week of the month is approaching and that only means one thing for me. Bills payment. Wahhh! Honestly being the one who is responsible in budgetting the money for everything is such a pain in the a**. Yesterday I was out to cash in some money to my Gcash account because on the 23rd of the month our monthly amortization for the house is due. I am thankful for these ewallet because it is convenient and I don't need to wait for a long queue of people in the payment centers. Thanks to whoever made this thing happened. Few more days and the house bills are next. Oh our electric bill this month surge to the moon. From 2600 last month, now its 3100. That is 500 php higher. I think it is time to conserve some energy to save some money. Glad our internet connection fee is fix at 1300 a month, unfortunately though we have almost 4 days without internet and honestly it is such a hassle to report it at the customer service for some adjustment at our bill due to interruption. On the second week of the month, I already paid our water bill that costed almost 1000 that was approxiamately for two months since I have forgotten to pay the last month's bill. I know some of you are also having a hard time in managing budget most specially it the money isn't enough. Honestly speaking if only we have no obligation to pay my little family would be living in comfort because of my husband's salary, however the reason he keeps on grinding is because we need to pay for it. Anyway let me list down the things or I should say a little investment that my husband and I had so that his hard earned money wouldn't be wasted. Housing Loan Both hubby and I decided to invest a house before getting married. I was actually pregnant with my second child when we applied for it and luckily it was approved. Though we wanted to pay it via bank finance for a shorter terms, however during that time the car loan that my brother in law got was in the name of my husband. He (bro in law) has an approved housing loan at the bank prior to getting a car, so he asked Anthony's favor to have his name on his car loan and it was approved. With that situation, we had no choice but to have the other option to pay it via Pag ibig housing loan with a longer terms of 30 years. Unfortunately that was the only terms available offered by the house developer. We started paying last August 2012 with almost 12k monthly. They said as years goes by the monthly payment for Pag ibig housing loan decreases as long as you are a good payer. Right now, we are paying only 8500 per month. We are actually saving a big amount so that we can pay the principal's interest so then the years of payment will be deducted. Insurances We have two life insurances, one in Sunlife and the other one is from Manulife. The sunlife is named after my husband, which he got in 2015. The payment mode we got here is annually. So every December a whooping 24k is deducted from our savings. The manulife was named after my youngest son and I started paying it last May 2018 with a monthly payment that is deducted at my bank account automatically. I am planning to get another 2 for my oldest son and me once the payment for these insurances is done. If there's a life insurance, there is a memorial insurance. We actually have one current memorial insurance at St. Peter. It is payable within 5 years and the terms I got is semi annual. We only have 5 payments left before we can be fully paid. We're supposed to get one when the price of the decent plan was just 50k below, however we're paying another investment that time. When we finished paying for it we decided to buy plan at St. Peter however the price doubled. From 50k it is now 100k which is payable within 5 years. A piece of land in our province So this is another investment that I am talking about. We bought a 100 square meter land in my province that costs 100k. We were done paying for it and actually waiting for the land title to be transferred. Both hubby and I decided to settle down in the province when we get older. We are planning to build a house there that could also serve as our vacation house as well. The problem is that we don't have extra savings at the moment. I gave my mother 20k the last time we went home so that they can build fence around our land, however when pandemic happened, I have to ask my mother to sent the money back to us. The plan is still there, there might be some delays but we'll make sure to let it happen. The sooner the better. Final Thoughts It is really important to use our money wisely. You have to save for your future at the same time you have to spend for your future too. You have to determined whether the things you are spending are necessary. As they say, earning money is too hard, but spending it is very easy. In these times we all need to be practical and see to it that our money goes to something worth it in the end. That would be all for today. Thanks for dropping by and see you next time. The virtual tour continues (Asian Countries part 2) Hello beautiful souls. Days ago I have written an article about the countries that my husband was able to visit in the Southeast part of Asia, today let me share the other countries he was able to visit while working in a cruise ship. On the first part of this article I have mentioned the countries is the southern part of Asia since they called it Singapore season. Their home port is Singapore and they stay there for like 6 months. So more or less the countries they visit were around Singapore too. According to my husband it is one of the stressful season, since a lot of guests are very demanding. You have to be attentive to their needs or else you get a bad rating, and a bad rating means low salary and yes you might not get a tip at the end of the cruise, so in order for your ratings to be good you have to pay attention to your guests. All is well when you properly do your job. Meanwhile, China season was my husband's favorite. Chinese guests is very much easy to handle and they aren't that demanding. They always finished their duties earlier than the usual, therefore they got a lot of time to rest and well the usual bonding with some Filipino crew. China China is a very big country. The first time he got there, we had a hard time with regards to communication since fb is banned in that country. Later on we found this application where he was able to call me via video call. I can't exactly remember the exact name of that application because it has been a long time and you know my forgetfullness really sucks. Most of the time when Anthony had the chance to go out while in China, his only purpose was to eat. He usually goes out in group together with the other crew and he was lucky because his brother was also with him. That is where he discovered how good hot pot is. And because he was into spicy foods he didn't have a hard time adjusting to Chinese cuisine. As you can see from above pictures, Anthony never missed to visit one of the eight wonders of the earth. The great wall of China. It was definitely one of his best travel and he grabbed the opportunity to reach this place. According to hubby the feeling was just surreal when they reached the exact location. As expected the tourist location is indeed great and upon exiting the place you will receive a certificate. That certificate is now hanging on our wall, I don't know the exact words written in it since it is written in Chinese. 😅 Korea I was the happiest when I learned that hubby is going to Korea. Me being a kdrama fan eversince was super excited about it. Indeed Korea is such an amazing country, although the places he has been were not the famous places we've seen in the dramas. But did you know that you can buy your favorite brand of shoes in Korea in a very affordable price? That is the reason why my husband bought a lot of shoes when he got there for the kids and me. And of course I requested him to buy me a cosmetic products from clio which Dara Park of 2ne1 endorsed during that time. It was only available in Korea so as a fan I am patronizing her endorsed product. I am such a spoiled wife here because Anthony really looked for that specific brand. One thing I really love in Korea most specially in their series were the food. It looks appetizing that whenever I see it, I wanted to have a taste of it. So when Anthony and the rest of the gang visited Korea, they never missed the food trip along the streets. And of course the bulgogi burger that was only available in Mcdonalds Korea. However when there was a conflict between China and Korea, cruise ships never visited Korea again. Japan Next stop was another beautiful country in the East Asia, Japan. As we all know Japan rich cultures is one of the thing that attracts tourist right? The locals there were very nice and honest. My brother in law used to live there for many years, there was one time when he dropped his wallet at this particular place, but when he came back the wallet was still there. As you can see from the above photo is Anthony enjoying the cold weather of Yokohama. As usual, when he is out, he loves to do shopping. But of course since he is frugal he always goes for the sale items. Hahaha! Ironically those clothes that he bought on the sale items were newly arrived when he checked the brand local branch in our country. Well same as the two countries above, Japan is also well known for their foods specifically ramen. And Ichiran Ramen is famous in their country that before you could enter the shop you have to wait in a long queue of people waiting outside. However, your long wait is worth it once the hot ramen is serve in front of you. Who else's loves ramen here? That would be all for my today's article. Thank you for dropping by. Any upvote, likes and comments is deeply appreciated. Have a nice day everyone! Lead image from Unsplash while the rest of the images were from yours truly.

Spending BCH for my Mom's special day Hello lovely souls! Finally our connection is restored after 3 days of being off. I was actually expecting it to be fixed by Monday however the technician didn't came. Yesterday morning I once again called the customer service to follow up but the answering machine just repeat the exact words it told me the other day when I tried to reach the customer service. Fortunately though, after around 30 minutes or so, someone called my name in front of our gate. I knew right there and then that the technician came to fix and restore our connection. I called my sons to bring the two dogs upstairs because I am afraid they might bite the technician and that would cause another problem. The technician came inside to check what was the problem and easily detected that it has something to do with the wirings. After changing the wiring, our internet is back. YAY! Now that our internet connection is back I can now bingewatch some of my favorite shows that I have missed watching the past days. But before that, today is my mom's birthday! I have to greet her first. Honestly speaking I am not really close with my mother. We didn't have a special bonding or whatsoever when I was growing up because I have this feeling that she cared for my two other siblings more than me. I am a middle child by the way so I guess the middle child syndrome is true. My parents were separated back when I was as young as 3 years old and they got reunited when I was 9. That's the time my younger brother was conceived. However, their relationship has been toxic as years goes by and separated for good, might be one of the reasons I am not attached either with my father or mother. But even though that was our situation, I have learned to respect both and love them equally. Whenever I went home to our province, I make sure to visit and spend my precious time with them together with my kids and the last time I went back home was on my father's 60th birthday in 2019. So this year my mama is turning 59 and hopefully I can go home on her 60th birthday next year. Since I can't be with her personally this year too, I planned to give her a little surprise. My original plan was to send her a flower bouquet and a cake. I messaged my sister in law and let her do the job since I am at Manila. Last Sunday I sent a message to her regarding my plans and she agreed to it. While I was browsing my timeline on my fb account, the money bouquet caught my attention, with that I asked my sis in law if she knew someone who is making money bouquet in their place, luckily the one that she asked about the flower bouquet is making that one too. The 1 dozen rose flower bouquet costed 1000 pesos and I was planning to give my mother an additional money for her birthday, so I thought the money bouquet would be a better alternative than the flower. The next morning I sent my sis in law 4000 pesos via gcash. The 2400 is for the money bouquet, the 600 is for the cake, and then the remaining money is for the additional food which they can bring to my mother's house since I know my mom would always have a little celebration for her birthday. I am pretty excited what will my mother reactions about my little surprise because this is going to be my first time to do it. Last year she was so thoughtful that on her birthday she sent money to us because Anthony hasn't back to work yet and in return I made a homemade steam chocolate cake for her. This year, although my husband is allowing me to spend his hard earned money to buy something for my mom, I am a little hesitant to do it. So since I am earning extra from here and at noise, I am happily spending it for my mama's special day. The amount I sent to my sister in law for today's special celebration was from bch holding. Isn't it pretty amazing? Thanks bch for fulfilling my dream to make my mother's birthday extra special. Anyway, my wish for my mom is to have a healthy body and have a longer life. She have been into a lot of hardships and up until now she is working hard in order to have a comfortable life. I know she is now happy with her partner and I am truly happy for her. My other wishes for her will be personal.😅 That's for today's article. Thanks for reading and coming at my post. God bless us all! ❤ Lead Image used from Unsplash

Virtually travelling with my husband (Asian countries part 1) It is another busy Monday for all of us. As for me everyday is just the same. Same routines and my body has been used to it. Well of course checking my noise and read account has been added to it and honestly it makes my day excited upon checking anyone's update, though please forgive me if sometimes I can't read some of the articles because household chores is calling me. I really tried to catch up but my tired body sometimes doesn't want to cooperate. By the way, let's move forward to my topic above. As you all know, my husband is working in a cruise ship as waiter in a restaurant. The name of their company is Royal Carribean Cruise Lines. You can check it here to see some of their ships and its destination if you are interested to cruise in the future. To be honest I wanted to try it, but yeah, money can't be found in my wallet right now, so I guess I'll have to wait for the right time. He has been working there since 2008 and yes he has been to a lot of countries. Sana ol! https://www.royalcaribbean.com/ For this particular article, I want to share some of the countries along Asia that my husbands was able to visit. It was in 2015, when he was assigned to ship that travels within Asia. They have Singapore season and China season. When they were at the Singapore, I think it was a 4 to 5 days cruise. Along that days, the ships travels along Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam or Taiwan. Unfortunately, Philippines is not included, I guess the reason is that we don't have a port yet that can accomodate this bigger ships. With that being said, the countries I have mentioned earlier has bigger ports that can accomodate these ships. I hope one day, my country can do that as well to boost the tourism more. On the other hand, when they were at the China ports, the countries that they usually visits, well of course China because it is a really big country, Japan and Korea. But the succeeding years that come, there has been a conflict between China and Korea that is why Korea was out of the list. Singapore Since their homeport was in Singapore, whenever there is a chance for him to go out, he always grabs it. It is one way to release stress from work. I love it when he was at SG because the timezone is almost the same as the Philippines. When Anthony is out, he makes sure to call me so that I can also see the place he is going to. There was one time he was talking to me at the phone while he was out shopping. There you go, that's what you called online shopping literally. He let me choose what I wanted and me being obedient I choose that and that. Hahaha! According to him, Singapore is like a size of the NCR so you can easily travel the whole country in one day. Their transportation is really nice and they have big buses. It is a nice country however you need to be careful because there are rules to be followed by everyone. There's no exemption to the law and once you disregard it, you'll end up being in jail or be fined. Thailand Another country that Anthony has the chance to visit to is Thailand. Sawadee ka! And yes, I am virtually joining him while he visits this country. Most of the time, the cruisers or their guests stopover at Phuket Island. It is a famous white beach in Thailand, but my husband being a proud Aklanon told me that Boracay is still the best. Hahaha! While he was at Thailand, he showed me the famous toktok ride. I think it is their public transportation and yeah not the toktok courier service in my country. Contrary to Singapore, Thailand base from my husband's observation isn't that strict. One time, he was already late of their call time to go back to ship, so what he did is to ride at motorcycle, but guess what? He didn't wear helmet same as the driver. I am glad Anthony was safe as well as the driver. I can also remember, that while Anthony was inside the mall, he suddenly showed me an expat who entered the mall premises wearing only jeans and slippers. He was topless, in fairness he has a nice body🙊 There were also a lot of foreigner in that country. At the above photo, my husband was able to visit Bangkok together with his brother and some of his crewmates. Malaysia As you can see from the above picture, is my husband and his co worker and a great friend too who post for a picture while they were in Malaysia. I don't remember much about his visits from this country only that its country is very much similar to the Philippines. And if my memory serves right, he gifted me a gold earrings which he bought from this country. Unfortunately though, he wasn't able to visit the famous twin tower at Kuala Lumpur because he was on duty when they came to that place. Only his brother was able to visit it. This is it for today's article. I will post the second part of it in my next articles. Thanks for coming and dropping by. Hope to see you next time:) Lead image from unsplash and the rest of image are mine.

Highlights of my Easter Sunday Happy Easter to all the beautiful and handsome people here on read. He is finally risen and will live forevermore! To God be the glory! How are you doin guys? Easter Sunday is supposed to be a happy day since it is the day that the Lord has finally risen. This is a special day most specially for Catholic Church and other Christians church as well. When I was still a kid, I am super excited for this day to come because on this day everyone in our neighborhood would be at the shore near us. We were living near the sea, so almost all of the people in our barangay were out and spent their time with family and friends together at the beach. It has been a yearly tradition and as years goes by some went to other resorts because the shore near us has been overcrowded and later on became polluted. The end! Hahaha! Honestly it was a sad reality, because the beach that I enjoyed back when I was a kid could no longer be enjoy by the new generations. Enough for my long introduction up there, what am I really wanted to share is that how my day goes by today. If before I am happy knowing that the next day is Easter Sunday, today it seems like just an ordinary day. I woke up from the call coming from my other phone, it was a representative from PLDT that updated me about the current problem of our internet connection. Yesterday, our internet and landline suddenly stopped. Glad my mobile data isn't expired yet so I used it to informed the PLDT through their fb account regarding it since I cannot connect to their customer service via call. Fortunately I was given a repair ticket and my concerns has reached them. They told me that a technician may come within 3 to 4 days. I already have a guess why our connection stopped again, and the representative that call me this morning just confirmed it. Yesterday though there was a contractor who came to fix something on the post near us where our cable for internet was connected, apparently he didn't did a good job because our connection was affected like always. This happened many times already and I am totally pissed off this time. I badly needed the the internet because my husband just leave the country like a few hours ago. We needed it for our communication and well for the my kids online classes too. I told the representative about my rants and he assured me that by tomorrow he is sending a technician to fix our connection. Speaking of my husband, he already arrived at Puerto Rico safe and sound after a very long trip. Thank you Lord for the guidance. According to him it was a tiring trip because he had 3 connecting flights before he reached his final destination. From Philippines to Qatar, next Qatar to Philadelpia, USA and lastly Philadelphia to Puerto Rico. He is now at the hotel and their agent will pick them up tomorrow to send him to their assigned ship. He needs to be quarantine for another 3 days before he can officially begin to work. He was actually scared because unfortunately only few Filipino crew were at his new assigned ship. I told him to trust in the Lord no matter what because He is the only one that can comfort him and give him the strength he needed for the next 7 months. While I was talking to my husband via video call, I was also busy answering my kids periodical tests. Yes I am the one answering for now because it was given last Monday and Tuesday and during those days I was busy going here and there so there was no more chance to teach my kids about it. It will be pass by tomorrow or Tuesday so I hurriedly answers it one by one. I just don't know if my answers were right. Ah I hope the normal in person classes resumes, as of now limited face to face class is ongoing at their school. Unfortunately, only those students who can't attend the online classes were prioritize. Now that they have started and the teachers are already at school, those who can afford online classes were now neglected because it will be hard for teachers to have both classes at the same time. I guess I have to stop here for now, because as of this writing, the washing machine stopped which means the last batch of laundry is done. Woah a busy Sunday indeed! Thanks for coming and reading my post for today. See you again next time. Lead image used from unsplash while the rest is mine.

I prefer this, how about you? (this or that food edition) Hello guys! How are you all? I am a little bit sad because hubby already went out of the country. And another thing that makes me sad is that our internet connection suddenly went off. I don't want to put much details about since I want to focus for today's article. Thanks to @BCH_LOVER for initiating this prompt, that I promised myself I make my version of it too. So here it goes. Pizza or Pasta Can I just choose both? Hahaha! I am a pizza lover and a pasta lover as well. But if there's only one food to choose from I guess my vote goes for pizza. I remember back then, I also made an article that if there is one food that I wanted to eat for a year or something like that I answered pizza. I always crave for it. It doesn't matter how expensive or cheap it is as long as there is a pizza sauce and lots of cheese I would definitely dig it in. Lately I am into cheese flavor pizza. Last time, I ordered bacon cheeseburger from papa john's and it tasted like heaven. Char! Ice cream or Cake I would choose cake. I don't like ice cream that much maybe because my teeth suddenly gets sensitive whenever I tried to eat ice cream, though I enjoyed eating but not as much as I enjoyed eating cakes. It is one of my comfort food and I love to pair it with a cup of juice, a soda or a hot coffee. But have you tried eating ice cream cake though? It is one of the best. I remember buying one on my husband's birthday about 3 years ago. He was on board that time so the kids and I went to the mall to celebrate it upon going home I decided to buy a cake at Dairy Queen. The crew assures me that the cake will not melt up to 1 hour travel time. Or so I thought, when we got home, the cake was already melting, I am glad I was able to take a picture of it and sent it to hubby. How is the taste? It was worth the try. Rice or Noodles Well Asians are into rice and noodles. I love these both, but I guess rice would be my first love. What is so funny about us Filipinos is that we used noodles as our viand. So much carbohydrates we have there right? Who can relate? Most college students, most specially those who went to boarding house survived their college years because of pancit canton and rice. With that being said, I think I changed my mind, I would probably choose these two.😅 Vanilla or Chocolate This isn't very hard because I hate vanilla so chocolate is my answer. I don't know what's in my tastebuds but I really don't like the taste of vanilla ever since, though I love the smell of it, the one that they usually put in some desserts. I remembered the day that I was pregnant with my two boys, I never drank a vanilla flavored lactating milk, instead I would rather choose the chocolate flavor. Vegetable or Fruit I love both as usual, though there were some vegetables that I don't like to eat same as fruits. But conveniently speaking, of course I would choose fruits instead of vegetables because I can easily eat it without going to the kitchen. I just needed to wash it and can easily munch it without any hassle. Compared to vegetable, some of it cannot be eaten raw or else you'll get stomach ache and also it taste really bitter when it isn't cooked properly though there were also some vegetables that can be eaten raw even without cooking it, butstill I will go for fruits. Burger or Tacos Since I can buy burger anywhere in our place, I would choose tacos this time. I love the beef meat inside of it and crunchiness of tacos. However I haven't had the the chance to taste taco in a restaurant, I only got the chance to taste it, because my wanna be chef husband made one. Well for me, since I am biased I would say it was really good. Hahaha! Until one day he told me, that his ex girlfriend used to have a business like that that is why he learned how to make it. Did I change my mind, of course not, his tacos would always win over my jealousy. Spicy and Sweet I like it better when it is sweet. I guess I have already mentioned in my past articles that I am not a fan of spicy foods, though not too spicy would do but when it is super hot, then I am out. I love chocolates, sweet fruits and anything that is sweet. Though I know, having too much sweet is not good, but I can't really help it. Don't worry recently I am trying to avoid it for my health sake. That is for today's article. Thanks for dropping by and spending your precious time to read this. Preparing my husband's luggage featuring the whining puppies Hello guys! If you have noticed I wasn't able to post an article yesterday, because I am so freaking busy the whole day. Let me share the things I have done the whole day. First, my husband is leaving at midnight of the 16th and that would be later, since I am the one helping him out packing the things he needed, I was in charge in washing all of his uniforms and other clothes he would bring at work. I took it all out from his other luggage so I could washed them all. I thought I have washed them all, until my husband asked me one more time if I have washed all of his uniforms including his old uniforms that he used to wear from his former ship. It so happened that for the five years passed he was using a different set of uniform because he was assigned at Quantum type of ship that is why the uniform is different from the other ships, though they are from the same company. He got irritated at me at first because he insisted that he told me to washed all of his uniforms, to my defense I told him he should be specific so I would know what to do. I didn't talked to him after that because I was annoyed but it didn't last long because we were good after a couple of minutes. I am glad I was able to find some of his old uniforms and washed them right away. Yesterday though I gathered them all together so I can pressed it one by one. While doing that, I also arranged the groceries my husband brought for himself. These are soaps, shampoos, laundry soap and other which he will be using during his 7 months stay on board. He was doing this ever since because it is way cheaper here than to buy it abroad. Aside from that, his other groceries included some of the foods that can only be brought here. This will lessen his homesickness. Some were chips, biscuits, nuts, pancit canton and his favorite sisig in can which never missed his baggage like everytime. Though there were also some Filipino stores in some countries he went to, but there were no assurance if they were allowed for shore leave this time. In the afternoon, our newborn puppies keep on whining. I am trying to figure out what was wrong but I failed to know it. I tried to hold them but they still keep on crying. Anthony wasn't home because he was at their company official medical clinic to have his pcr swab test that is one of his requirements for leaving the country. I waited for him to come back home so that we could take the puppies to the nearest vet to have them check. He arrived past lunchtime and I told him my concerns. He then told my, the puppy might just uncomfortable because of the very hot weather so I opened the aircon in our room. Yes, the puppies are staying in our room including the mama dog. I guess they got used to a cold temperature because the aircon in the room was opened when they were born. According to the neighbor that my husband got to talk to, they should stay on warm temperature however these cuties doesn't like it. Finally when they felt the cold breeze of the aircon they stopped crying and get back to sleep. What a spoiled little puppies we have here.😆 In the late afternoon, Anthony take us to the salon for his haircut and the kids as well. I wanted some foot spa, unfortunately, the salon got their cut off time for that when we arrived, so I choose hot oil for my hair instead. Just a little pampering before hubby leaves. When everything is done, we went home and looked for something to eat for dinner. We got home and I finished the ironing of my husband uniforms. I only prepared his things, but the day ended and yet we haven't put all his things on his luggage even though his flight was in the next morning. Looks like another busy day is coming.😅 Anyway, this will be for today's article. Let me take this opportunity as well to give my special thanks to all these wonderful ladies who renewed their sponsorship. Sorry for the late mention guys but I want you to know that I deeply appreciated it. @Talecharm @Expelliarmus30 and @BCH_LOVER thank you guys. May the Lord bless you with more bch.😍❤ And to all my amazing sponsors below thank you for your very warm support right from the start until now. Lead image from unsplash.

$100 spent in less than a day Hello guys! I am super duper, extra busy the whole day. From the moment I woke up the first thing I have done is to prepare breakfast, however we ran out of gas so I contacted the gas dealer near us. Then a few minutes more my husband was having trouble with regards with his documents. It was again rejected for the second time around and this time it was me to blame because I forgot to edit the correct expiration of his passport from his workers information sheet at POEA. I hurriedly went upstairs, opened the pc and the printer while I opened the POEA website on my husband's phone. After editing it I printed it right away and booked it to lalamove so that the document will arrived at my husband's agency office within the day. It was an important document because it will be needed to be pass at the POEA office and once it will be approved, Anthony will wait for the email from the HR regarding his final document which means he will be ready to dispatch. It will happen anytime this week since his flight details will be on the 16th at 12 am. Prior to that, he also needs antigen test 24 hours before his flight. The good thing is that no more quarantine for those individual leaving the country. By the way, as of this writing the document was finally approved. I mentioned on my last article that our car was broken, so on that day, Anthony contacted the mechanics located outside the village. He diagnosed what was the problem and he easily detected it. Anthony was advised to buy the parts that needs replacement and then just call them once it is ready. I give Anthony 3000 php so that he can buy those parts. Few minutes later, the delivery rider of the gas I ordered came. Another 1000 php was taken out of my wallet. In fairness, since we were using a single burner gas stove, our lpg gas usually last up until 3 months. Tipid yarn! I got out of the house to buy something to cook for our lunch. I opted to buy fish since it is holy week. It has been part of Catholic tradition to abstain from eating meat products during this lenten season. I went back home and cooked our lunch while waiting for Anthony to get home too. I was already cooking, when Anthony came back along with the mechanic who is going to fix the car. It didn't last long because it was fixed right away after the replacement. Then hubby went back to me asking for another 1000 php for the labor fee of the mechanic. What? A total of 5000 php or $100 was spent in less than a day. Such a pain in a wallet right? Well, I am glad my husband is going back to work so that all of his expenses from the car alone would be reimburse. To be honest, he is a little meticulous when it comes to our Dusky (the name of our car) I remember, on his last contract he alloted some of his tips he got from his guests for Dusky's repair and all. He wanted it to look presentable even though it is an old model. Who would believe that a 1995 model Toyota Corolla is still working fine up until this year. Lately, a lot of old car are roaming around the city because it doesn't consume gas fast unlike the new model cars, and as we all know gas price is a lot expensive recently. Sometimes I am thinking of selling our Dusky because of its maintenance but then I remembered how it makes our life better most specially during pandemic that a lot of public transportation has been suspended to operate. It also takes us to whenever places we wanted to, so yeah all the maintenance costs will be worth it in the end. So that would be all for today's article. I hope to see you next time. The first time mom (Lucy's journey to motherhood part 2) Hey guys, today's article will be the continuation of what I have written yesterday. I never had a proper sleep because I was waiting for Lucy's second pup to come out. Though I was lying on the bed, I can't help to get up from time to time to see the progress with Lucy. My husband was even telling me that I should sleep and maybe the moment I woke up the next morning the new pup is there. So yeah, I closed my eyes but then my mind was still thinking about it that even in my dream I saw Lucy gave birth to her second pup. I guess there is a truth that what we think most, always comes out in our dream. Unfortunately though, the next morning no new pup on Lucy's side. That wasn't a good sign according to the net. I was convincing myself that maybe there is only one puppy in her stomach. I even reviewed the recorded video of her sonogram and it was confirmed that she has indeed two puppies. I touched her belly and I can felt the head of puppy inside. Then according to the net, once the next pup didn't come out within 6 hours or more we have to bring the dog to the vet and have it check. Even though that was the case, all of us including the kids were all at the bedroom watching how Lucy is taking care of its pup. I gave her bread and milk because I felt like she needed it since she was breastfeeding her baby. While I was doing it, I can't help but get worried because the second pup isn't coming out yet. I am actually freaking out inside but I keep my calm at the same time. When Anthony, my husband called his cousin and told about the situation, she eventually told him to bring Lucy to the animal clinic, however there is another problem, our car was broken. It was Sunday and all the autoshop around our area were closed. After a while, he called his brother Renzo, good thing he mentioned that there was one time her girlfriend's dog gave birth to another pup a day after she has given birth to her other pups. Upon knowing it, we thought it might still be normal that Lucy isn't giving birth to her last pup yet. We got rid of our worries and just a few minutes more, we heard Lucy's sudden shout. I then recalled that it was the same as last night before she gave birth to her first pup. She started acting weird, walking here and there inside the bedroom. It was 10 hours after her firstborn, I guess the contraction began that is making her uncomfortable. When the contraction stopped, she stayed in one corner, this time around my husband was panicking and I told him not to, because anytime soon the other pup is coming out. One moment later, and I was right. The last puppy just came out. And again Lucy was busy cleaning its baby like what a mother supposed to do. Can you guess the color of the second pup? We are expecting another black, since mama and papa dog have black fur, but to our surprised it was white with some black spots. Pretty amazing right? You might wonder how did it happen, apparently Lucy's mother Chloe has the same fur as her second pup. I guess the second puppy got the genes of her grandma. It was really adorable. Most importantly, all of them were delivered healthy and safe. The first time mom was having a hard time to breastfeed the puppies at first but eventually she got used to it. Mother instinct is really true because she is overprotective with them. She exactly knows what to do the moment it came out from her tummy. When she heard them crying, she will be there for the puppies and breastfeed them right away. It was amazing and fascinating to see it. I am actually thankful and proud that Lucy did a great job. She didn't give us a hard time and hopefully all of them will be healthy as days goes by. Right now, we haven't given name to this two cutie little pups. Can you suggest some names pretty please. The first pup is a girl, while the second pup is a boy. I will definitely appreciate your suggestions. Lead image from Unsplash

Now she is officially a mother (Lucy's motherhood journey) Yesterday I told you about how pretty excited and scared I am for the arrival of our new pups. It was stated in my article that the arrival would be between the days of 15th until 21st day of this month. However, just like human pregnancy delivery could happen earlier than the expected due date. For the past three days we let Lucy sleeps with us in the bedroom in antipation of her delivery. We haven't taken her to the vet yet, that is why we don't know what is her exact due date. When we got the result of her ultrasound that gives us the exact date of her due date. Prior to that I have searched through the net on what to expect and what were the things needed for the delivery at home. As I told you, I don't want to entertain the thoughts of cs operation for Lucy as it is expensive. I am planning to buy it by Sunday, so that everything is ready if in case she give birth early. On Saturday morning, Lucy started to act differently like she used to do. With that, my husband and I prepared a shallow box with lots of used paper that will serve her delivery area. I have been observing her the whole day yet in the afternoon she looks okay. I ignored the idea that she might be laboring. My husband went out to do some errand outside. He got home at around 1030 in the evening, tired and drunk. He was asking how is Lucy, I told him she was doing perfectly fine. After sometimes, he asked me that he was going to sleep as he need to wake up early the next morning. He took Lucy to the bedroom and after a while I followed him. He was saying something gibberish until I heard him snoring. Meanwhile, Lucy lay besides me on the bed and I let her. By the way, we actually don't have a bed frame, we only had mattress, a queen size and a double size together since the kids are staying with us. That is the reason why Lucy can lay besides us anytime she likes. I was about to sleep when I heard a little extreme shout from Lucy who is just beside me. I touched her and I was shocked that the blanket with her is wet. I hurriedly tòok my phone and open the flashlight button. There were a traces of blood from that wet area. The kids was also awakened by Lucy's shout so I opened the light in the bedroom. I tranferred Lucy to her little bed while I took some dirty clothes to wipe the wet area. When I look at Lucy one more time, I was shock to find out the she already give birth to the first pup. The kids were also delighted from seeing it for the first time. I woke up my husband and told him that Lucy has just give birth. He was still groggy because I told you he was quite drunk when he got home. I repeated what I just told him and with realizations about it, his sleepiness and drunken state suddenly disappeared. We were all shocked to witness how Lucy ate her pup's placenta. We were told that we don't have to do anything, just leave it because the mother to be will do the rest. It was actually a fascinating sight how Lucy was able to clean her puppy but she was having a hard time to feed it. That's the time I interferred. I hold the puppy's head and lead it to Lucy's breath. It took a lot of tries before it can finally drink the milk from its mother. Oh by the way, since Lucy's color is black and Marley who got her impregnated we were expecting a black puppy too. As expected the first born is another black princess type shih tzu and female one. My husband started to call the rest of the family sharing the good news about Lucy's giving birth. Everyone was as excited as us. Since the first pup already came out, we were all waiting for the next one to come out. We waited until an hour but nothing is coming out. My husband then told me that we should go to sleep and maybe when we wake up the next puppy is out. I tried to sleep, but I was dead worried about it. According to the net, the next one should come out within or after 1 to 2 hour after the first one, or else we should take the dog to the vet if nothings come out. That got me worried. Sometimes I don't want to read articles from the net because it is freaking me out honestly. I wanted to wait for it but my eyes were so tired and wanted to sleep so I give in to it however the little cry of puppy wakes me up again. That leave sleepless that night. When the morning comes, I was able to sleep for at least 2 or 3 hours hoping to see another puppy, but I didn't see one. I am trying to convince myself that maybe the ultrasound is wrong and that maybe Lucy got only one pup. But who am I kidding, I checked the recorded video of the ultrasound and it only confirmed that there indeed two puppy. Now what's next? To be continued... Lead image from Unsplash

Three plus two Lead image source. https://pixabay.com/images/id-982054/ On February, I made an article of being a new mother of two. I had mentioned on that article the two new addition in our family. Lucy and Marley a princess type shih tzu which was given to us by husband's cousin. I also mentioned the struggle that we've been through before they got used to our presence. Prior to that, we had a pet dog Yumi our very first dog which already stayed with us for three years. At first, the three of them really had a hard time of getting used with each other. They keep on barking for no reason until one day they got used to their presence and realized that there is no reason to fight because they lived in the same household. Until one day, we just saw them chasing and playing like they were friends before. It was really nice seeing them like that. Marley and Yumi were like bestfriend however Lucy on the other hand is a snob one. Instead of playing with them she would choose to stay away and sleep. Little did we know, a month after of being with us, a big surprise was waiting. It was my youngest son who noticed that something is wrong with Lucy's tummy. It looks a little bigger compare to Marley. I really don't want to entertain the thought that she might be pregnant because she was just 10 months old. According to the vet, once the female dog got it first menstruation that happened every 6 months or more it is capable of being pregnant, but it is not advisable to impregnate her during her first mestruation that is why I am at first in denial to accept it. A few days more came and I keep observing the signs and symptoms of being pregnant to our dog Lucy. One thing that I really noticed was that she always sleeps like a human pregnant and at the same time there was a significant change in her appetite. Before Marley eats more than her, but lately she eats more than him. Her tummy is getting more bigger and she gains weight too. Last week my husband and I took him to the vet to confirm our suspicions. The doctor said that Lucy needs to have ultrasound in order for it to be confirmed but he also advised that it should be after a week or two as we don't exactly know when was the time the mating happened. Dogs pregnancy can only last for up to 60 days or 2 months and on the 18th of this current month Lucy and Marley will mark their 2nd month with us. I was assuming that anytime next week, if Lucy is really pregnant she might give birth eventually. Yesterday though, we took her back to the pet clinic to have her ultrasound, not only to confirm her pregnancy which is already really obvious because of her bulging tummy but to know how many puppies she is carrying. We arrived at the clinic around 5 in the afternoon, but due to many pet patients we have to wait for our turn that lasted for more than an hour. At long last, when it was already our turn the vet examined Lucy and confirmed right away the pregnancy. He got the ultrasound machine for animals and examined it thoroughly. We were just outside the clinic but we can see the ultrasound outside. My husband was busy filming it via cellphone. When it was done, the vet told us the expected due date which will be next week, between April 15 to 21. He also confirmed that there were two puppies inside Lucy's tummy. And lastly he strictly told us not to feed the dog too much so that the puppies won't grow bigger as it might be harder for Lucy to give birth and might end up in caesarian operation. Personally I don't want it to happen because firstly, on the expected due date, my husband might be already at work overseas, so the responsibilities of taking her to the clinic will be such a hassle. And lastly the operation cost will be around $200. That is quite expensive, so I just hope she give birth naturally since Lucy only got two puppies. I am really happy and scared at the same time for the unexpected two new members in the family. I was just celebrating last February about the two new little buddies that was added to our household and next week, another two is on the way. I hope everything goes fine and nothing major problem will occur. That's for today post. I missed posting yesterday because after going to the clinic, we went to my sister in law's house to celebrate her birthday. We had a little celebration that is why I was not able to write anything. I might also be busy in the next two days for my sons module. Ah but I will try my best to catch up with you guys. Once again thanks for reading.

Some school related rants yesterday It is another beautiful Thursday to everyone. Yesterday I spent the rest of my days doing the usual things. Since it was Wednesday, I already anticipated my kids online class so I set up the alarm clock at night in order for me to wake up early. I set it at 7 am, though I know there might be no online class again for my youngest son which is usually begin at 730 in the morning. Their adviser who was supposed to meet them for their English subject always reschedule it by Thursday, however I woke up the moment the alarm clock of my phone started to ring. I hurriedly checked my sons phone for any messages from the teachers and luckily there were no messages at all. Then I remember what my eldest son's adviser told me last week, that this week there will be a limited face to face classes for all level. However, it was only limited to those students who weren't able to attend any online classes at all in short those who can afford the online classes will not attend face to face for the meantime. Since the kids don't have any classes, I just helped them in answering some of their modules. We are now on the 8th week of quarter 3 which means by next week there might be retrieval fot answer sheets. It makes me panic because I really hate cramming things. To be honest this whole online set up has been such a pain in my a**. I am getting tired of teaching my kids that sometimes I prefer answering it on my own because I don't know if I am teaching the right lessons to my kids which is supposed to be the teachers duty. That is the very reason why I am in full support of face to face classes because two years is already enough. The kids were not learning at all and let's be honest here, we all know that little children don't solely answers their activities most of it were answered by their parents and guardians. And if ever those students answer it personally they will also rely it on google search for answer and we all know not all the things you read on the net were accurate and true. They actually lacked the interaction with the teachers because of limited one hour meeting to every subject teacher in a week. I am particularly talking about public schools, because in private schools they are obliged to go online, obviously because parents are paying their tuition fees. This makes me realized that, does education needs to be expensive? I know it isn't because I believe, the school do not matters. No matter how expensive or exclusive your school is if the student is lazy then he/she wouldn't excel anything. I guess it will depends on the learners perseverance to learn new things in terms of academic. With the educators guidance I know everyone will do good and excel in every field they will choose in the future. I just hope this academic year will be the last time they will implement the online set up, my eldest son is soon to be junior high school and as we all know teachers are more knowledgeable when it comes to teaching, after all it is their profession. They should not rely to parents and students because if it will continue, I am afraid these students will be left behind as well as our country when it comes to education. As our national hero Jose P. Rizal said that the new generation will be the hope of our country, let's make it happen and I believe aside from home these students will be truly nurtured and deserved to go back at school. Thanks for reading my nonsense rants for today. I just wanted to released my opinion about this whole online classes. In fairness to other teachers, they were doing all the best they can to teach their students, however due to limited time and because not all can attend and afford to go online they choose to have asynchronous classes. If I could, then I would (answering if you could questions) Hello there beautiful humans! Today is Wednesday and well the weather is still not good but a lot better than yesterday. There has been no rain yet, but dark clouds were covering the sky. I still manage to wash the laundry even though the weather isn't really nice. Glad our washing area is covered so the laundry clothes are safe from the rain. Today, I don't have particular things to share so let's just answer some questions I got on the net. If you are having a hard time finding a topic, you might want to take a look at the list of questionnaire on this link. https://museumhack.com/list-icebreakers-questions/#ifyoucould So without further ado, I will start answering some random if you could questions right now. If you could hang out with any cartoon character, who would you choose and why? Spongebob Squarepants would always be on my number one list. He is my favorite cartoon character and I really wanted to be friends with him. He has a great personality on the show and he liked to be friends with everyone else even to Squidward ignored him from time to time. I would like to know how to live in a pineapple under the sea. And how does it feel to have a pet snail who meow like a cat. I really liked to hang out with Spongebob most specially doing his favorite hobby like catching the jellyfish. I would be very careful so that it won't sting me. Can we hang out now? Pretty please! If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be? Honestly there so many countries in the world where I like to be. But I guess I would choose Sweden for now. Somewhere last year out of my boredom I opened my you tube account to watch some video, one video pop out on my tl. It caught my attention because of the number of views so I clicked it and that's where I got to know Jonna Jinton a Swedish you tuber. She has so many interesting topic but most of it has something to do with her beautiful country. She is a filmmaker by the way that is why her videos are pretty awesome and impressive. Why Sweden? Well I wanted to see the Northern lights. I am a fan of stars and magical things you can see at the sky. Furthermore, I would like to know how it feels to live in a country where the sun does not set at all or how it feels to be dark all day. Pretty exciting right? If you could be guaranteed one thing in life (besides money), what would it be? A healthy body. Pandemic helped me realize how it is important for us to take care of our health and be mindful with what you eat. Certainly if you have a healthy body even though you will be infected by the virus you can easily recover from it, unlike those people who aren't healthy at all. As we all know, most of the people who lost their lives due to covid 19 got complications because of their ill. No matter how rich you are or how grand your life is if you aren't healthy all of your riches will be nothing. So yeah, let's all aim for a healthier body. If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be? Upon watching korean medical dramas, I am really impressed with all the surgeon that sometimes I wish I could be one too. Saving life is something to be proud of and that is one of the duty of doctor. I wanted to be expert in that field, but in reality I am easily get scared of blood. Hahaha! Nevertheless, if I could turn back time, and have a different status in life I would really like to be a surgeon. Heart surgeon specifically and heal a lot of people with heart problem, except for those who are heart broken. So that's my honest answers to some of the questions that could be found on the link I shared above. If you wish to answer them, just click it and you'll be delighted to find a series of questions. Thanks for dropping by lovely souls. Lead Image from Unsplash

My husband is leaving and going back to work in 10 days About two months ago, I can still remember that I also wrote about my husband going back home. I was so excited for that day because I miss him dearly even though we were talking almost everyday while he was miles away from us. Although we were in this kind of relationship set up for many years, I can still stop missing him and wished that he could just work here. If only the salary he will get working away from us will be closer to what he will get here, however reality bites me. The reason why our loved ones decided to work abroad because of the higher salary they will receive than working here. Even some professionals such as doctors and nurses preferred to work in other country to provide more for their family. In fact, according to my friend who is living in NY now, there is a high demand for Filipino nurses in America right now, so she was suggesting me to let my kids take medical courses in the future so that there is a big chance for them to be in America too. Going back to our main topic, last month my husband received his new ship assignment however he requested for a ship transfer because he doesn't want to be back in his old ship, fortunately it was granted. Then on the last week of March he received another message from their scheduler asking if he was willing for an early sign on which was schedule on April 3. He ignored it of course, because he wanted to spend more time with his family and waited for his original schedule which is April 17. Last Monday morning, when he checked his account at their company website, his pending documents was already approved hence his other documents such as POEA contract is ready for printing. He was notified to pass the documents on or before April 9. Then on afternoon, while he was out of the house he asked me to print his pending documents, so I did what I told to do. I am glad our printer is doing good after we brought it to the technician a few days back. Just this morning, he decided to pass all of his documents to the office. Initially, he wanted to bring it personally, however the price of gas is very expensive and their agency office is far from us, that is why he decided to send it via LBC. He went to the nearest lbc branch but when he came back, he told me that it will take 2 to 3 days before the documents could reach the office, so I suggested to send it via Lalamove since they have a same day delivery. I opened my lalamove account and booked it right away. The rider arrived in just 10 minutes and took the documents. My husband give some instructions and after an hour or more, it has arrived to its destination. I guess it was a great decision because it saves my husband time and the stress he might get from the traffic plus he can still play his favorite game on his phone. Now what is next? The office will send those documents to the POEA (Philippine Overseas Employment Administration) to have it approved and after it was approved the hr will notified my husband that his paper/documents are ready for pick up. Those documents are very important because you cannot leave the country without it. Right now, since it is raining hard outside we prefer to stay at home. We still have 10 days before his flight on April 15, so I guess we'll gonna make the most of it by being together. We were planning on going somewhere before he leaves. I am just hoping and praying that God will protect him and give him the strength he needed while away from us. That would be all for today. Let me take this opportunity to give thanks for these lovely souls in renewing their sponsorship @itsmeCguro @Thania05 and @Itsfarah Thank you guys for the love and trust. More bch earnings to all of you.❤ Lead image from Unsplash.

My first visit at a Korean mart and the things that I bought Hello guys! How are you all? About two weeks ago, I was able to visit the korean store near us. I always wanted to visit it but for some reason it never happened. I think it was last year when it was tranformed into a korean store. In all honesty I have never visited any korean store yet so I don't know what to expect inside. Ironically I love eating samgyupsal but never did I visit any korean store at all. The long wait was finally over because for the first time in forever, I got to visit it. Of course, the first thing that will entice you about visiting korean store is the kpop song playing inside. Since I am a certified kdramaholic, I am familiar also with korean pop, because some of original soundtrack in the korean dramas are mostly eargasm. Actually the reason we dropped by at the shop was to buy some nori sheets. When I got inside, our plan was changed. Even though the shop is small, you can buy a lot of things inside. The staff was so friendly and willingly assist us and she was really good at suggestive selling. I went to the freezer area and the corn dog caught my attention. The price is 240 php per pack with 8 pieces of corndog inside. According to my computation, each corndog cost 30 pesos each, it was much cheaper than the one we bought at the corndog shop at Puregold which cost 65 php each. The other pack which consist of 6 corndog costed 250 php because it was pure mozarella cheese inside, while the other one which I mentioned earlier was half hotdog and half mozarella. I cooked it two days after and the taste was just like the one I bought at Puregold. Going to a korean shop won't be completed without buying ramen. Nowadays, you can also buy ramen at any supermarket but since we were already there, my husband never missed to buy it. There were a lot of choices and they were all spicy. Whew! I am not really a fan of spicy foods even though I grew up in Bicol a province which is known for Bicol express, a spicy Filipino dish. Some people thinks that whenever they found out you are from Bicol they come into conclusion that you like spicy foods. Between hubby and me, he is more into super spicy rather than me although his province is Aklan. Since the staff was into suggestive selling she told us that they have a promo price for butane stove and grill pan. Last year were supposed to buy one at Divisoria but we run out of budget. Hahaha! I have been wanting to have one since I do love samgyupsal a lot, so I guess having our own pan grill and butane stove, we can now definitely have an unlimited samgyupsal at home. Most of our samgyupsal dinner I have posted in my noise account and even on my past articles happened on my sister in law's residence. The promo price was 999 php for the set of it. I know there's a lot more cheaper price in Shopee and other online shopping application but I was okay with because if in case there is something wrong with the product I can easily ask for refund or exchange. We also bought dipping sauces for our future samgyupsal at home such as galbi sauce which is highly recommended. They also have some marinated pork and beef meats which you can already use right away but we prefer to make our own by buying at the supermarket near us. Honestly, there are so many things that can be bought at a korean shop however my money is not enough. I guess korean invasion in our country will last longer because of the korean dramas influences as well as the kpop communities. I know we should appreciate and love our own but for me I guess I can love both. What do you think? By the way last Thursday we finally had our first samgyupsal dinner at home. My husband cooked the ramen, while I am the one in charge in grilling meat. Oh I just love it. It made my cravings satisfied and we would definitely try it again next time. That's it for today's blog and thanks a lot for dropping by and spending your most precious time to read it. Lead image from unsplash and the rest of the images used were mine:)

I have a total of 2 bch in my wallet now It was October last year when I was able to achieved my 1 bch with the help of noise and read account. The feeling was surreal when I finally accumulated that amount. Since I am planning to use it for our future family travel I keep on hodling it and waited for the price to go higher. However because of the recent dips in the last quarter of the year 2021, I just let them stay without converting it to our fiat. If I remember it right, the amount of bitcoin cash that time was around 29k plus in php or around $600 more or less. I think the price went up until $700 but I wasn't able to convert it because I was waiting for it to go higher. We shouldn't be really greedy after all. Can you imagine the frustration I felt when its price goes more deeper. Though it was just a small amount compare to what others hold but it still matters to me, however life must go on and in order to move forward leave the things in the past without a heavy heart. Chor! Even though the price keeps going down, I still keep my faith that one day, the bch price will surprise us more and it will definitely fly unto the moon. Do you believe in it too? I bet you do! My initial plan was to only hodl the 1 bch in my wallet, so my November earnings last year up until December were all spent. I also invested a small amount on smart bch worth $15 dollars, however all of it were lost even my remaining $20 earnings in bitcoin wallet when my phone was broken early in January. Unfortunately I forgot to secure its seed phrase and up until now I haven't recovered it. I am afraid I won't recovered it anymore because somebody told me that once my phone will be fixed all of its files will be deleted. So yeah, I have already accepted that those amount is lost forever. Then on January, I started to keep all of my earnings from both platforms. Since the price of bch is on dip, I accumulated another bch faster than what I did last year. From January and February I didn't take it seriously that I guess I only posted few articles here at read and posted once a day at my noise account. Nevertheless, I still manage to earn at least .7 bch within those two months. So last month with more effort and hard work I know my 2 bch will be achieve. In the last week of March I have converted .0054 worth bch or approxiamately 1000 php in our local currency to add for the payment of our internet connection. So there was only 1.67 bch left on it. Then before the March ended I am so grateful because I earned 0.429 bch and when I transferred it on my wallet the total bch I have in all was 2.1 bch. Hurray for the 1st bch that I achieved for this year. For now, I might be holding it for a while until the price soar into the moon. I am just grateful that I was able to save this amount without investing any amount. My one bch will be used for our future travel while my other bch will stay in my wallet. I am planning to invest it in other cryptocurrency however I am not a risk taker. Give me some confident please. What I am trying to convey with this article is that I am very happy because this is the first time I was able to save this amount of money out from my own earnings. I am a full time mom for more than 12 years and the only money I was able to hold was from husband's salary. He was actually happy for me and ever supportive with what I am doing but always reminds me to still never neglect my responsibilities for my family. So far, I am doing fine in balancing things and I guess being a multi tasker has been an easy job for me. I will be forever grateful for these two amazing platforms who give us the chance to save and earn money without having any investment at all. Yes we all got it for free, who else's does it like them. I know there were some other sites that gives free earnings aside from these two, but I guess my loyalty belongs to noise and read forever. Thanks for dropping by at my post for today. Let us all hope and pray that bch price will surprise us this year like what it did last year. Hurray for bch! 1st Friday of the month means Quiapo Day Yesterday was the first day for the month of April and I know everyone knows about the prank and the all the crazy tricks everyone does on the first day of the month of April. In fact even here in read and noise platform I have encountered articles that almost got me, same with my noise account where few users have posted their April fool's day post. While everyone was busy with having fun in connection with that special event, my husband asked me to come with him to Quiapo Church since it was the first Friday of the month. He was a silent Black Nazarene devotee because according to him, he spent his every Friday at Quiapo church before he became a seafarer. He completed a novena prayer and his prayer request was answered by the Black Nazarene that is why whenever he is back home, he makes sure to visit the church during Friday. I actually don't know the reason why devotees gathered on this church every Friday, I guess they got used to it, same with Baclaran Church where devotees also visits every Wednesday. Nevertheless I am in awe everytime I saw the devotees in both churches. We can never really questioned the faith these devotees have. Yesterday afternoon right after our lunch, my husband asked everyone in the house to prepare for we are going out, however I was a little busy printing the modules of my kid that I have forgotten to get at the school. Right after printing it, I started to prepare myself along with the kids, while hubby was busy preparing and cleaning the car. After a while, when we were all done, we started to travel however the rain started to pour. I knew that it would rain, but then I forgot to bring the umbrella with us. We dropped by at QC to my brother in law residence, because they wanted to go with us. Due to misunderstanding in the group chat, only Jojo came along with us. We left when the rain has stopped. There was a slight congestion going to Quiapo and that was actually expected, also it was already rush hour when we left. We arrived by 630 in the evening and I was surprised to see a lot of people attending the mass at the church it was like there was no more covid in the area. We joined the sea of people and waited a little bit longer for the mass to be done. When the 6 pm mass was done, we move forward waiting for the 7 pm mass. In all fairness, it only looks crowdy but social distancing was still implemented inside the church. The mass began, and on the middle of the mass, the people started getting inside, unfortunately the rain started to pour again, so the church staffs let them in. I am glad, when the mass ended the rain has stopped too. It was my first mass attended in two years at Quiapo church. The last time we went there, we weren't able to attend the mass because it was already late. After the mass was ended, market time! Well there's a market near the church and the vegetables and other goods offers the best price. After 30 minutes of walking from here to there we finally went home. We decided to eat at my brother in law's house and our travel time from Quiapo to North Fairview QC only takes 30 minutes, thank God there was no traffic because we were all starving that time. We bought lechon manok and while on our way home, Jojo called his youngest brother to cook rice so that by the time we got home, we can eat right away and that's exactly what happened. We stayed there for a bit longer as Anthony, my husband bonded with his brother. I had already mentioned that 3 of his brother were living in the same village so whenever we go there, I already expect it that our stay will take longer. We got home at around past midnight and its okay because it was already weekend means no online class for the kids the next morning. I updated my noise account and eventually replied to some comments in my articles. So that is how my first day of the month goes. The first quarter of the year is done and yeah life is getting harder as it goes by but we should always stay positive and keep our faith with the Lord because at the end of the day, He is the one that we could always rely on and definitely could answer all our prayers. And whenever you felt afraid, always remember this "**Do not fear, for I am with you - Isaiah 41:10"** All images used were mine.

One step closer to success (my son's graduation photoshoots) Who's excited when you hear the word graduation? I do! Back when I was in my grade school, it was probably one of the best thing that happened to me because I am so excited to go to high school. I remember my young self very eager to grow up and do the things that adults can do, minus of course the bad one. I am still a good girl even though I don't look like one. One thing I can remember though from graduating in grade school back in the 90's (ajuhmma here) was that we weren't able to wear a toga. The graduation class from our school was advise to wear a white formal dress for girls and the boys should wear white polo long sleeves and black pants. Ah memories. Sometimes it is good to remember our childhood days. Anyway, the reason for my sentimental memories above is that my eldest son is moving up from grade school to junior high school. Hurray! I just can't believe that time really flies faster and faster and I can't seem to notice it. I guess no matter how older he gets, I will always see him as my first baby boy. Speaking of moving up, last week their adviser told us that there might be a graduation pictorial this week in preparation for the graduation rites to be done maybe in July this year. He adviced us to get ready and all of his students must be present in the said pictorial since they are going to have a class photo with the adviser aside from the individual photoshoot. Moreover, he also told the parents in the group chat the proper attire for that specific date which is a school uniform. However since my Aaron is a transferee last year, he doesn't have school uniform. My queries were answered by their adviser's next message in the gc. While the girls should wear the school's official uniform, the boys can wear a white polo, black/gray pants, and black shoes. And so last Wednesday afternoon, my husband and I made a quick trip at SM Fairview to buy my son's the things he needed. His white polo which he used during online classes is already worn out and could no longer fit him, same with his black shoes that's why we bought him that, but since he cannot go with us due to his wound, I asked my husband to fit the shoe since they almost had the same size. Seriously, my 12 year old son has almost the same size as my hubby . What did he ate for the past two years? We also bought black pants and was hesitated to go for small size or medium size, in the end we got the small size which has a waistline of 28 inches compare to the medium size that has 30 inches in waistline thinking it was really big for his age or so I thought. When we got home, the white polo and the shoe fits, however the black pants didn't. My son's not that fat however his legs and butt is a little heavy. Blame it on the genes. I am glad my hubby has extra black pants that even though it is a little bigger, we can use belt in order for it to fit. Meanwhile, the newly bought pants will be returned and exchanged for a bigger size maybe next week. Just a little information guys, I used to work in a department store specifically in the customer service department and return policy of items does not only limit to 7 days, you can exchange your items beyond 7 days as long as you keep your receipt. When everything was set, I washed his white polo and let it dry the next morning then ironed it since their section schedule for photoshoots will be in the afternoon. I was a little excited because this will be the first time my Aaron and his classmates to see each other in person. Originally, their class schedule was 3 in the afternoon until 4 however there was a delay so the adviser sent a message that we should go to the school at 4 pm. We actually arrived at past 4, but then there was more delay as many classes haven't have their turn yet. The students, the class advisers, and even the parents didn't have a choice but to wait. The waiting process took 2 hours, and honestly I was bored to death if only I have data that time, I could spent the waiting time while enjoying browsing. After two hours, the long wait is over, kids lined up and waited for their turn for the individual toga pictures. When the boys were done, the girls were next. We stayed a little longer for the girls to be done for the class picture with the adviser. A few minutes more, the girls came out so the official photographer arranged them according to their heights so that the final outcome will be nice. It was indeed a nice experience for the kids to be able to see and bonded with their classmates personally. I am sure they were most excited for the face to face graduation rites that will be done somewhere in July. Meanwhile, the modules and the online classes continues, since they are still in the 3rd quarter of the current academic year. Final Thoughts As a parent myself, I honestly felt proud for this little achievement that my eldest son is about to receive. Though it will happen in a few more months but then the excitement is all over my body. I would always wish for the best in him as he would enter a new chapter in his life. To my not so little boy, enjoy and have fun in learning. You know mommy and daddy won't be asking for a higher grades just finish it without having a failed time for mark. Old habits die hard Lead image source https://tinasworlds.wordpress.com/2014/02/03/idiom-old-habits-die-hard/amp/ Yay its the end of the month today, so what do we have here? Nothing just the usual stuff I do everyday. Woke up and then does all the household chores and activities which had been already part of my daily routine. Yesterday though I wasn't able to publish anything, I wanted to but my time and mind couln't make it. It was another busy day for a full time mom like me. In the morning, the first thing I have done is to prepare breakfast. I steamed the left over siopao which I bought from Marikina last Sunday. I remember the price of it way back was only 10 php but after more than 10 years they sell it for 18 php. If you live in Marikina you will know about the siopao factories that some small business visits because they have the best tasting siopao at a very affordable price. I think some resell it for 25 to 30 pesos each. The next thing I did was to heat some water and make some chocolate drinks for the kids and well a cup of coffee for me. I know last year I promised not to drink coffee anymore, but what can I do old habits die hard. I know a lot of you can relate to this idiom. According to this reference Definition of *old habits die hard:* https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/old%20habits%20die%20hard#:~:text=Definition%20of%20old%20habits%20die,Old%20habits%20die%20hard. —**used to say it is hard to stop doing things that one has been doing for a long time.** There were some habits that I really like to eliminate or stop doing it for a better version of me however, as time goes by I just found myself doing it over and over again. Drinking Coffee I promised myself that I won't drink coffee ever again, but I guess the promise to myself is set to be broken because lately I started to drink a cup of coffee a day. It all began when we had an overnight swimming. From then on I started to have a coffee occasionally, eventually weeks after my first caffeine this year, my body began craving for it. So two days ago when we had our grocery, I added some coffee of my favorite brand on our grocery cart. I just can't resist it, although I am minimizing myself to only one cup per day and see to it to drink a lot of water after it. After all it was the reason why I stopped drinking coffee last year because my water intake lessen. Alcohol intake Another habit that I intend to forgot but due to recent gatherings with the girls, I started to drink alcohol again. Though it happened occasionally but then, another promise to myself is broken. I stopped drinking alcoholic drinks when I became a mother. I used to drink a lot most specially when I am still working. I can't refuse it since my co workers would always tease you if you can't come with them, and due to their influences I am always persuaded. It was actually fun not just because of the drinks but the bonding we got from our simple gathering. Eventually when I got my second son, I stopped it because I am exclysively breastfeeding him that lasted for 3 and half years. I almost forgot the taste of it due to years of not drinking it. I have a high tolerance for alcohol before that I remember I can go home safe and sound in the middle of the night even with the influence of it, but today it has change that I easily got drunk with just a few sip of it. Sleeping late at night Ah this habit is too hard to resist. I wonder if I can ever change it. Sleeping early is what I wanted to achieve but it seems very hard. Having a partner working with a different timezone is the reason why I am sleeping really late. And then from then on my body clock has been used to it and when my husband is home we rarely get to sleep early too because as for him his body clock is adjusting too so I have to accompany him too. I guess this habit of mine will never change though I am hoping that I can maybe in the next days or month. Ending Thoughts I guess at the end of the day my choice will still matters whether I would like to change or minimize this habits of mine. I have to set goals in order to achieve it and it may harder than I thought but with determination and working hard to do it, I know for sure I can make it. That's it for today. How about you do have habits that you wanted to change or wanted to eliminate? Please don't forget to comment it down below and let's talk about it.

Someone's going back to Puerto Rico In a few more days the month of March is about to end. Whew! So fast right? That also reminds me that I have to pay the bills on the last day of the month. Hahaha! Seriously speaking, one more reason that I don't want this month to end yet is that by next month, someone's gonna leave me. Whaaah! I am not ready yet, but because our financial needs is on the risk we really don't have a choice. We have bills and insurances to pay, the house amortization and we have some special projects that needs to be done if we have enough savings for that. Well that's life, we just got to live by it and get used to it. Anyways, 7 months is just a short time and just like I had mentioned earlier time passes by quickly and I know that would only take few sleeps and we'll be together again. Originally, my husband contract is to return in his former ship where he ended his last contract, however he doesn't want to return in that same ship because of stressful schedule. When he learned that his brother was transferred in this particular ship, he requested to be transfer too, however after a week his brother was transferred to another ship again. And again he wrote another letter to be transferred at the same ship where his brother is. He was actually waiting for days but no reply has been made. Anthony got no choice but to accept the new assignment given to him. But then he happily announced to me that his first request was approved because when he checked his account on their company website, his letter of employment has been changed. He was supposed to start on April 9 but it was changed to April 17. Hurray for that, because he is extended for another week with us and hopefully, we can be with him this holy week. Another Yay! He already confirmed his new assignment and now waiting for the approval of his other documents in order for him to be given the other documents which will be needed for him to be dispatch. The good thing about their company is that you don't need to be at the office from time to time, you just needed to check your account at their company websites and then you can easily uploaded and update all the needed requirements without any hassles. Earlier, he asked me to check the itinerary of his supposed new ship assignment, prior to that since his brother was supposed to be there he already knew that the home port of the said ship is in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I checked it and it was confirmed. My husband was a little excited because the last time he was there was back in 2014. He told me that it was one of his best cruise, I suppose the tips were good too. I asked him then if Puerto Rico is a nice country, you know what he told me, it is plus the girls were pretty. I'd like to smack him but I am not a fan of violence.😆 He meant to say that Puerto Rican were really gorgeous. I remember Dayanara Torres, Miss Universe 1993 she is a Puerto Rican and I really adore her back when I was a kid when she became a local celebrity here in our country. She was a real beauty, brainy and a good dancer as well. Looking back at his itinerary, I think I am the one who is more excited about his new contract. I am looking forward for more pictures because he got a decent phone now unlike in the past years. More islands means more places to be. This time around, all crew are allowed for shore leave. I looked at our fridge magnet, and there's one Puerto Rico on it. I wish he could get more from the other countries which he will eventually visits during the next contract. I wish my husband will have a better journey this time. I will be missing him for the next 7 months but I know time pass by quickly and what matters most is that he can be with us on Christmas. One more quality time with my family Yesterday, I wasn't able to post an article because I wanted to give myself a break. Weh? Hahaha! Well, the truth is, since it was Sunday my in laws family were scheduled to visit my late mother in law, like we usually does every Sunday. Personally I don't want to go out that time because I am pretty worried about my son's situation. He just had his circumcision last Friday, so it means that the wound is still fresh, but you know the most handsome in the house beg to disagree. He told me that he would take care of our son. Well since he assures me that nothings bad going to happen to our son, I finally agreed in the end. We missed the family gathering last Saturday, but I guess it was a good decision to take a rest. On Sunday though, my son's is okay with going out since his wound is not bothering him at all. I guess the medicine that he intake helps a lot for him to recover well. He just can't walk properly and he promised to just sit the moment we arrive at the cemetery. We left our home around past 5 in the afternoon, I wonder if we could reach the cemetery by the time it closes. Imagine we're from Caloocan and the cemetery's location is in San Mateo. I don't know what magic my husband did because as usual I was sleeping while he was driving. I am just a sleepyhead. I woke up when we were already in Batasan, and in just a few more minutes we've arrived at Paraiso Cemetery just before it closes at 6 pm. The rest of the family arrived first, and when we got out of the car, they happily teased my oldest son for being circumcised finally. My son just answer them with a smile on his face. What I really like about staying on the cemetery is the beautiful sunset. Most of my sunsets picture posted on my noise account were taken over there. I don't know what's so special yesterday because the sky gave us another wonderful view. According to hubby it is similar to aurora sky which he witnessed in Alaska last year. Though not perpectly the same but it has the same vibe, it was my first to see something like that too in my whole existence. As you know, one of my ultimate dream is to witness a live aurora sky in Sweden but I know it is quite impossible. I am fascinated with all the beauty I see on sky like clouds, stars, planet and the moon. Capturing the wonderful view yesterday seems like a dream come true. Ganern!😅 When the darkness takes over the day, we went out of the cemetery and went to the place near Timberland to eat some snacks. I am not sure if you can call it a snacks since it was almost 7 in the evening. There's this special eatery that we usually goes to because of their nice ambiance and tasty foods. Their location is on top of the hill that is why it is better to go there at daytime if you want to appreciate the nature surrounds you, however on that particular time we only wanted to appreciate the foods. We ordered pancit, okoy (lumpiang toge) and lomi. We finished it all, while having a non stop conversation about this and that. The next stop was, Marikina Riverbanks. It was 830 in the evening when we arrived at Marikina Riverbanks. We actually been there a week ago to eat at Dampa Station, then looked around at the tiangge nearby. We bought some good quality shirts that costs $2 each. We told the rest of the family about it and they agreed to do the same. I accompany my sons and just waited for the rest to finish their shopping. It wasn't boring at all since I can hear some good music from a live band nearby. After they were done, the boys got a massage session, while the girls seated on the grass while looking at the people doing their thing. I am reminiscing the time when my husband and I used to date here a lot. When I say a lot, I can no longer count how many times since we don't have enough money that time. I am a student while he is a part time hotel waiter. Dating there saves us a lot of money and at the same time keeps us a lot of memories. The feelings were just surreal to remember. We stayed there at least more than an hour and when we checked the time, it was already 1030 in the evening. It was time to go home. We haven't taken our dinner yet, so they were inviting us to have our dinner in Quezon City, but I refused because it was late already and the kids will have an online class the next day. We bid our goodbyes to them, as we get inside the car. We got back at Caloocan at around 1130 in the evening, we dropped by at Minute burger to buy some that will serve as our dinner at the same time midnight snack. And then few minutes more, we arrived at home tired, sleepy, hungry but most of all happy. It was indeed another quality time spent with family. Thanks for reading my story time that happened on Sunday. I would like to inform you that I am so happy for all the likes, upvotes and comments you left on my post. 😍 Lead image from unsplash while the rest of images used were mine.

My first 5 star hotel experience (one night stay at Conrad Manila) Yesterday I am so happy because I have done a lot of things in just one day. Today I am glad because another sets of tasks have been done perfectly. And yeah my body is so damn tired because of the household chores I did, so I didn't have time to think of what topic to share. Although I wanted to share my pregnancy journey but I am still trying to recall the memories from it. Blame it again on my forgetfulness, they said anaesthesia can cause memory gap so maybe that is the reason why I forgot things from time to time. And lastly it maybe a sign of aging. Ottoke!😆 Anyway, let's now proceed to my topic for today's article. Some of you already knew about our recent 10th year anniversary which we celebrated last Tuesday. I have been mentioning about it ever since the year started because it is one of my anticipated celebration for the year 2022. Surprisingly a very good friend of mine, gifted us a one night stay at Conrad Manila. I was really overwhelmed and was looking for that day to come. And then last Tuesday it happened and it would probably one of the best memories I could share. Now, please allow me to share what's inside the room at Conrad Manila so that you'll have an idea of what to expect if in case you wanted to spend your time here. First and foremost you have to be at the concierge to confirm your booking. It is advise to book for a reservation as early as possible so that you can avail some discounts. The hotel staff will accomodate you and they are ready to answer all your queries regarding your stay. They will ask for a deposit in cash or credit card, but upon checking out your deposit will be refunded. We opted to give cash because I already dispose my credit card a long time ago. After sometime, they will give you the keycard and will instruct you more about what to do while inside the hotel. Now, are you ready to be in your room? Let's proceed. You must never forget your keycard, because aside from it's your access to your room, you'll be needing it at the elevator too, without it, the elevator won't take you to your floor. My husband forgot about it that's why on our first try the elevator won't go up. Hahaha! It is my first time going on a five star hotel so I don't know about it either. When we reached our hotel room, my husband tap the keycard and the beautiful view welcomes us. By the way, my friend booked us a premiere room with twin bed and with a city view on our window. When I got inside, there's one thing that pop out in my mind, can I stay here even just for a week? It was really nice guys. My kids, started roaming around the room and jumping on the bed. Oh don't you just love being a kid, can adults do that too? By the way, upon entering the room I was welcome with a greeting on the tv set. While my kids were busy doing jumping, I went to check the other area of the room. Anyway before that, I have to log in at the hotel's wifi to be able to check my read and noise account. I went to the couch and sit while enjoying the view outside. It was around 430 in the afternoon, so the weather outside looks beautiful. From our window I could see the Ikea building. My husband asked me if I wanted to go inside but I declined. Although I wanted to because I have never been there and it is the first Ikea store in the country so I really wanted to see it, but I know our time won't be enough. Maybe we can visit it next time. I wanted to see more of the room and took some pictures so that I could have something to share to my friend, and well a remembrance too. My husband was busy checking the other stuffs as well, I took photo of everything inside the room. They have this cabinet, and when you opened it, there is a mini fridge inside as well as coffemaker. I went to the comfort room, and took a selfie on it. In front of the restroom they have another cabinet where you can put some important things inside if you choose to stay longer. There's a vault, blower, shaver, iron and ironing board too. After taking some pictures, I enjoyed the nice ambiance of our room. My husband suddenly realized that our room is even bigger than our house. I got to agree with him because it is true. Well, after we took our dinner, I asked my kids to change on their pajamas and they needed to sleep because we're gonna be early the next morning so that they can still swim. Just as I promise to the kids, I took them to the pool before checking out. I was so full from my breakfast that is why I didn't swim, I was there to watch over them and at the same time I can take them a lot of pictures. I am enjoying the beautiful view as well. They swim for at least an hour, because we are going to check out at 12 in the afternoon. I prepared all the things and make sure nothing will be left on the room. I took one more picture of the view outside before going out of the room with my little family. I am really grateful for my friend for letting us experience especially on our 10th year anniversary. I would always remember it for the rest of my life. And to Conrad Manila, we really had a great time. Once bch price goes to the moon, I'll definitely comes back😁 That's for now guys, thanks for coming and spending your time to read this and hope to see you on my next one. Three important tasks I have done today How are you all beautiful souls? Its finally Friday, and it means tomorrow is Saturday, which means family time again. To be honest guys, before joining noise and read cash, I forgot to notice the days of the week. I must admit I seems to be forgetful most specially when I get busy with taking care of the kids. But I am thankful to these two platforms because I am always reminded of what day is it now because of my mandatory greetings here in read and in noise. Speaking of Friday, I am satisfied for I have done three important tasks within this day. Allow me to share it with you. The first one is that, I was able to be at my son's school to help the parents in cleaning the classroom in preparation for the face to face classes. With all honesty, this was my first time to join this kind of activity. Before pandemic happened my kids were enrolled at a private school near us, so there were no such activities like this. Last year, when they were transferred in a public school, their advisers didn't push us through in cleaning their respective classrooms. This year though, the class PTA president of my youngest son is quite active, so whenever there are activities like this, she always asked for the cooperation of everyone. Like yesterday, she asked for the cooperation of parents to be at school so that we can clean the designated classroom for our children section. At 10 in the morning, I arrived at the school and I was a bit late because our meeting time is 9 am, I blame it on my lazy ass to go early. I hurriedly went to the classroom and started helping the other mommies. And with everyone's help, we manage to clean the room. The class adviser sincerely gave her thanks to everyone who went there despite the busy schedule. I am personally happy I got to experience this thing too. One is down, two more is next. This afternoon, we brought our printer at the repair center finally after many months. It was still working, but only the black cartridge. I can't print colored because the color cartridge is broken and needs replacement. Yesterday, I was about to print the letter of employment of my husband because he might report at his agency office by Monday, unfortunately the printer isn't working. It was still working fine last week but now something is not right. So I asked my husband to bring it to the repair center so that the color cartridge can be changed too. I told the techinician about the printer's problem including the paper jam. When he looked at the printer, he find something unusual, upon looking further he found a foreign object inside it that cause the paper jam. He thought it was crayon at first, but when he got it out, it was a nerf bullet. How in the world that it got inside. I think I know who is the culprit. While he was working on that, my husband called and told that there was a national registration on going, I immediately told him to register since there wasn't much people on the line. How lucky is he, because when I had my registration last year, it took me 5 hours of waiting before I could have my turn, while it only took 5 minutes or less for him to be registered. Life isn't fair sometimes right? By the way, we waited for the printer to be fixed and finally about 20 minutes more, it was okay. Yay! I can now print in color again. Going on for the third task, we took my eldest son to the clinic near us to be circumcised. Originally, we wanted to do it in the clinic where his cousin was circumcised, but then my husband and I thought, it might cause stress for Aaron if we travel longer, so he decided to have it on the clinic along our area. The clinic is a birthing clinic, but they also cater to those who wanted to be circumcised. I was allowed to go inside with Aaron, though my husband wanted to come inside, the nurse told him he can't because of health protocols. Earlier, I keep talking to my son that there was nothing to be afraid of, he just needed to be brave and strong because all the pain he might feel along the procedure will only be one time. I know he was trying to, but he is a little nervous too. I witness the procedure all the way, and I am too stunned to see how they do it. It was bloody and surprisingly my fears about seeing blood suddenly disappered. I was also there to comfort my son, who is trying his very best to be brave and I am glad he made it. The minor operation didn't last long because of my son's cooperation. He manage to overcome his fear, although there were times that he can't help but to scream. And when it was done, I saw the relief on my son's face. Congratulations baby boy, I mean Aaron. You are now a step ahead on being a man. So that's exactly the three things that had made me busy this day. Tomorrow I will have another set of tasks to be done and I won't complaint anything because I love every little thing that I do and will do for my loved ones. Thanks for dropping by at my article for today. Hope to see you next time.
