Survivor
This features a group of contestants who are marooned in an isolated location where they must provide resources for themselves so they may, as the namesake implies, survive. Where other reality TV shows mainly focus on charisma and looks, this one proves to be different because it is plainly about willpower.

Big Brother
This show allows an analysis of how people react when forced into close confinement with people outside of their comfort zone, having different mindsets or ideals, or from a different social norms. Quiz show games are exciting to watch, which makes this one exciting as well although you don’t need to have high IQ just to get going.
