Trust the Process

A kid and a barber is having a conversation.

Barber: Toy, you know I don't believe in God.

Child: Why?

Barber: Look outside. If there's a God, then why does people always suffer? There are problems drawn in their faces.

Child: Is that so? I, too, do not believe in barbers.

Barber: Huh? But why?

Child: Please look outside, because if there is a barber, then why does a lot of people have still long hair?

Barber: because I can't cut their hair if they don't want to.

Child: Exactly! God is the same, He cannot fix our lives if we do not want to come to Him.

 Sometimes, we are like this. We do not believe in God because we see sufferings. We are preceded by doubts, fears, temptations and problems. we blame God for all our misfortunes in life.

"If there is a God, why do I suffer? Why is my life like this? The world is so unfair".

Those are just some of the things we say over and over again when we are suffering, but when life is light, do we remember him as much as we remember and blame him when we are suffering? Don't you think that we are the ones who is unfair? We ask for forgiveness but we fail to give thanks.

Brother, wake up. Why is it that even though we know it’s bad, we still do it? Why? Just because we want to outweigh others? Why do we experience poverty? Is it because there are people who does not want to share their blessings? Let us forsake evil thoughts, deeds and achieve eternal life. Do we want eternal life? Let us begin by avoiding sin, doing good and proclaiming the words of God.

So brother, as long as we have time, as long as we breathe, let us not hesitate to approach God. Only in him can we find true salvation, peace, and true love. Just trust the process.
