So you have been complimented. Actually, a lot. You hear them say you are good. They often see you with appreciative eyes.
But then, you don't feel it in your bones. You feel devalued. You don't appreciate yourself. You don't feel pride in your skills.
No matter how many compliments you receive from others, no matter how many times they say you are good, and no matter how often they see you with appreciative eyes if you don't value your worth, you will never be good enough.
Self-appreciation is of utmost importance. Without self-love, no amount of good words from others will ever make you feel special. It always starts with you.
A short piece of advice to self.
So true we all need self confidence. If we compliment ourselves than we are truly happy with our efforts and results. Hard to do though because we are so critical of ourselves.
