The good doctor

A good doctor is hard to find. Just as difficult as a trustworthy person. When it comes down to it, you simply have to be lucky. Happiness when it comes to the interest, expertise and appearance of the doctor. Gone are the days when doctors, like mayors and pastors, were looked up to. That village mentality is not part of modern man, especially in cities, especially now that the average person is higher educated and, in addition to many medical reference books, also has access to the internet.

Most will have forgotten or never even heard of the power of herbs, grandmother's (my grandmother) tips and tricks, but these still exist, big pharma tries to erase this knowledge from our memory together with the modern doctor and technology. It's called quackery.
Quackery is also what current medical science is based on. A lot has been tried to gain current knowledge. It was often a coincidence when the right remedy was found or it was taken from the herbal lady, the shaman or the witch as this person was also called. So doctors owe their knowledge and status to quackery in combination with "grandmothers" and herbalists their tips and perhaps the common sense of the rural population have also provided a lot of wisdom.
Penicillin was also stolen from the quacks, just like the use of various herbs and the preparation and application. Not too long ago people had generations of knowledge. We as a community have lost that knowledge because we no longer trust nature. Many blindly trust the chemical industry that lies to mankind without any problems or experiments on people. This is logical. Whoever does not know, sees nature as the greatest enemy, of nature, being outside, breathing air thinks he is getting sick, will have to resort to something or someone else. Certainly, when there is a crisis or panic strikes, there has to be something or someone to believe in. Without hope, life is difficult to sustain. "Together we are strong" is the idea and that is what we aim for as a group. Those who do not go along with this fear must experience first-hand what it is like to be alone. Heartlessness and inhumanity are the answer. Being different is not tolerated, is even a danger to the society in which frightened people live.

The doctor, the specialist is no longer a person of prestige. Now every layman knows better, thanks to medical encyclopedias and the internet. Various studies also show that the average doctor no longer learns, knows, has hardly any knowledge of medication, no longer works that much and even barely knows his clients. Computers, medical apps and assistants take over the doctor's job and then there is also the pharmacy that keeps track of exactly what is swallowed, everything about your mental and physical condition knows allergies including allergies. The pharmacy has the last word when it comes to medication. If the doctor prescribes A you get C, D or just nothing. The pharmacy decides because the health insurance thinks that what you swallow or put on yourself should be paid for.
Big Pharma again believes that the doctor should prescribe as many A, E, F and H as possible. That's what the doctor does because Big Pharma's bonuses aren't bad and humanity is there to keep you sick. Would all the medication that is used worldwide really help, no one would be sick anymore and no human or animal was still in pain.

Unfortunately, when it comes to knowledge, doctors are sad. In practice, in real life, you won't come across many good doctors or hospitals. Doctor House who finds every rare disease (except Lupus) and knows that everyone has something to hide (lie) is an exception and for me an example of a good doctor. His interest in the symptoms and thus the mystery of what disease they cause makes him also interested in the patient. His obsession does the rest. In real life, the average doctor is not as motivated to heal. There are many complaints about how busy they are, but the modern general practitioner does not work nearly as much as one or two generations ago. The modern doctor thinks it's fine, after all, there will always be sick people as a result of an unhealthy lifestyle and the doctor himself often sets a good example. A smoking doctor is not a good doctor to me, nor is one who drinks or is overweight. Perhaps that also explains why so many doctors do not give health advice and prefer to reach for their prescription book?
There are enough pills for every ailment at least ten. The modern doctor will not say that the patient has to lose 40 kilos, stop smoking, drink, drugs, get off all that medication and if not, he won't have long to live.

Modern man is way too fat. Look at movies and commercials from the 1920s. People today find it normal to always be saved from death.

I read that fat chickens lay eggs less well/often than thin chickens.

Does modern man seriously think that they are immortal and that taking medicines forever, and getting injections makes the body, mind and immune system stronger?

Good doctors only exist in the movies.
Are there any good doctors? If so, what is a good doctor and how do you know if that doctor can be trusted? A doctor who asks "What do you want me to do," doesn't sound like a confident person, one who writes out a prescription right away or doesn't give health advice, isn't up to date on the medical news, does retraining, isn't critical, and nothing other than writing referrals is definitely not someone I would trust.

The last time I saw a doctor was a few years ago.
I no longer take pills and with health problems, I start working on them myself or I learn to live with them just like my grandmother. If earlier generations could do this, if many worldwide can or must do it without medical care, so can I. My years of experience with doctors have taught me that it has not made me any better. Many ailments have been cultivated as a result of medication, with side effects that make it difficult and often impossible to live with. Unnecessary side effects that are not even taken seriously by doctors. Someone with bites is always the exception, the unlucky one and of course they say: better next time.

As soon as medication in any form is applied to a large group, regardless of the result, it is no longer important whether it is quackery. The massive intake makes it official and legal and therefore a reliable, medical act. Side effects are then ignored and if things go wrong, it is always the patient's fault. Shouldn't have taken these pills, should have called sooner, should have been clearer.

A good doctor?
They may no longer exist with us but you can always watch the series 'The good doctor'. This good doctor is special, honest and has a special gift that he uses for his patients without taking credit.

The series the good doctor was something I liked to watch because Dr Shawn Murphy was a typical example that you can do anything you set your mind to do no matter how difficult.
