No action will be without a reaction.
Can be this reaction won't be today, in the next ten or twenty years but that reaction will come because people don't forget what they know, experienced about injustice, a war they pass to the next generations.
No man is an island? Man is an island only not if it comes to remembering injustice, the fight against it, the fight for his freedom and dictatorship.
These battles no one can win if he stays on his island. You have to let others in, trust them, control them to make sure the goal you have in mind will be achieved. Indeed checking on people, their behaviour, loyalty, personal situation, knowing what drives them to act is important if you want to succeed, after all, people are islands and the only one they want is the best for them and what is good for them isn't necessarily the best for you.
Don't let us pretend loyalty, friendship, love is for free. Everything has its price. Who acts has to pay a toll and will sooner or later.
A king might not be as much in the picture as hundreds of years ago, Princesses may still refuse to kiss a frog but we know everyone has a weak spot. To some it's family, the good looks or name to others it's the loss of a present as a golden ball or goose with golden eggs. What is precious to one isn't necessarily to someone else till envy appears. Of course, it is not about having a ball made out of gold with which a child cannot even play. It's not about owning a goose that needs to be taken care of, poops where it goes and which eggs are gold to the owner but it's about others having something that brings them joy, makes their life better, gives them a certain power. This is what we want for us too. We want that golden egg, the power, to be noticed. It's not cool to be just somebody ordinary. History shouldn't remember you as a person who stole someone else's invention only and made it a success but remember you as the founder of a new world a better place where only a few deserve to be.

If you watched the series 3% you see the world I just described. That better place on an island only meant for 3% of the, no not people but 20-years old living in the inland, the real world which has a lot in common with the war fields started and left behind since 1945.

Some always start a fight. Preferable not at home but if they are on vacation abroad. Far away from home, it is so much easier to be a Benidorm bastard than in your own village, the street where everyone knows you are a loser. On a battlefield abroad you can't fail and be a hero because what you do you do together. The lying, robbing from the people, the raping, bombing, playing the saviour and the hero back home. All easier if you do it together as a group so to say. Support is important if you want to succeed and keep the spirit high. That spirit with the imprint of believing you are a better human species and your way of living is the best way there is. Hallelujah, praise the lord we fight thousands of miles abroad, cross borders we wouldn't accept others to do to us.
When it's over, back home heroism turns out to be of no value. Forgotten, despised, left alone because that enemy fought turns out not to be the enemy but an invented lie. Each man is an island and fighting together an enemy who wasn't an enemy in the first place doesn't make you popular. Each action can count with a reaction on the inland there's no room for soldiers. Who blindly follows orders can never be trusted.

While watching the first episode of 3% questions come to my mind. Questions like: will that island never be full, overcrowded but also why not build a better life together on the mainland which is the inland. All those people together keep living in the mess, dirt, they do not stimulate each other to do something good. They live for only one thing which is leaving and being part of the island's 3%. Interesting but if the inlands keep breeding and breeding and if only 3% of the 20-years-old make it after a hundred years the island must be overcrowded. How come no one wonders how crowded it will be? How they will control all those people living on the island especially because they say their doctors can do the impossible thing. Can they or is this the next fairy tale?

What would you do if you have only one chance to belong to the 'royalty', the better species which is a group of people who do not necessarily win by being honest? We see liars, cheaters, thieves, murderers who are the chosen ones and can seriously harm the island. What needs to be done to make these people fit in? Whatever it is it will be done because the wrong actions can count with reactions too. Next to being registered (chipped), vaccinated and passing tests that are changed while doing them there's a treatment centre for those who passed are just sterilised and don't fit in. Of course, this is not what the inlands know. Those candidates eliminated are not allowed to speak about what happened but it's hard to believe no one did or does. It's strange to see how those who lost are treated once back since nearly every 20+-year-old is a loser, didn't end up on the island to enjoy that controlled better life. So the losers punish those who lost for their own failure?  We see a place filled with people, children, pregnant women who can hardly feed themselves. They breed and are the cattle and keep the island and the miserable world they live in exactly the way it is.
What lacks these people they don't build a better life for themselves? Why not say: forget that island, we can build our paradise? It's because man is an island, goes for that island and believes paradise waits for him. He rather believes in the 3% illusion, fake news than the 97% reality. A 97% must be able to clean up, work together, rebuild and improve if they want a better life. Why wait for that one and only chance in a lifetime at the age of 20 if there are things you can do right now?

For sure 3% is enough or even 0,03% to make a difference.
What you see if you watch 3% is that people are different. Not the entire mass but some are. These few are an island, not really liked or understood but they have the energy to fight for what they want and believe in. You need a clean mind for that, no imprints by others, believe in a god or better place than the world you are living in which has everything you need to be and feel you are alive.

It's good to wear fine clothes, eat good food, see trees and live in a world where everything looks clean and the people look relaxed but this is the fake reality. Clothes, food, houses, electricity, everything that's needed has to come from somewhere. Is this all worth a cloud of drones above your head, being chipped, vaccinated a few times a year and being sterilized and controlled if you make it?
To some, it is which is fine but imagine what happens if the inland no longer sends people to the island if they ban the island and build their own strong community?

What if humankind, get off our island and start uniting, working together, sharing knowledge, strength, passion, dreams and all we have to build a better world? Centuries ago people did it. We still talk about the Maya, the old Greek, Roman and Egypt but if we look at these ancient cultures they didn't succeed in sharing their knowledge, expertise, techniques. Once the war is over the countries out of the tales of 1001 stories stay there with empty hands. Robbed from their treasures by aliens with a false tongue, evangelists preaching, misleading the young ones with a story about a better world that in the end not even 3% will enter or worse enjoy for real. The thing about a better life is people get used to it, the island isn't a better place and you are more controlled than ever because every step you take will be seen as an attack on the island, the new world order.

If you want a better life, survive the war get off that island and build a life with others or stay where you are and stay low.

In 3% some people are not registered, not chipped, not vaccinated. There are registered people who do not try to win, who do not want to live on the island and are still happy, full of life. Some do not believe the words of the priest, words that should give hope but are also the only hope given and if that hope is gone there's nothing left to live for except the phrase: Have children it's good against depression hammering in your head if you are eliminated.

A better life is possible and with better, I mean having something to live for, a goal to achieve, a person, animal or tree to care for. A good life is not about fancy clothes and being monitored 24/7 but about freedom of expression and the feeling you are alive.

The island painted in 3% isn't for me. I wouldn't go there since I wouldn't pass any of these tests. I've been there, know what a world like the island looks like. I would feel trapped every day of my life no matter if I would be in prison-like Andy, stay in the behavioural curing treatment centre, join the yoga group, the board or the army.

3% is another film, Netflix series about what the world in the mind of a handful of people will look like. The coronavirus hoax and the war will help to realize it faster than they hoped. Look how much has already been achieved in only two years of spreading the killer virus news.
Just like in this series we, the mainland do without gas, electricity if needed and hunger and death will be our penalty if we don't wake up, aren't prepared, not willing to fight for a world we like to live in. My world isn't better than yours neither are my norms, values and dreams. In one world there's plenty of space to live how we like without harming others. So find those who are willing to travel, work and share their expertise and skills with you. Share the costs for living, carpooling isn't a crime, babysit for each other, homeschool, clean up, rebuild and stop delivering to that 3%%. Keep in mind there is no 3%, no project without the 97%'s permission.

I confess that I don't like this kind of series, but your description has aroused my curiosity, tonight I'm going to watch it for a while.

I think the positive thing about this series is there's always a group of people who don't fall for it, there are always people making the best out of it and starting a better world. In a way you see people bond. 🍀💖
