Feeling down?

Dear friend,

If you don't feel too well, things go different as expected, there's more on your shoulders then one person can handle and no one gives you a hand, it's hard to stay focussed, positive, and motivate yourself.
I know all about it because my life is basically filled with loads of shit people do not only dump in my garden but my house as well.
How to motivate yourself during these times? The only thing I can think of is kicking your own ass and reward yourself if you managed to do something. That something can be small but that doesn't matter. If you don't feel like cooking you can still eat healthily.
Eat fruit some meat and yogurt. No cooking saves you time and from doing the dishes.
You might prefer to keep on your pajamas for the rest of the week but for sure you feel better if you get dressed, combed your hair and it's clean. Reward yourself with a cup of tea or hot chocolate or some cookies as long as you do something. Never forget to pamper yourself.

I try to do three things a day.
Stuff I don't like and it's true I often do not manage to do so because so many other things come in between but it is as said "easy does it" although this doesn't mean you should cut off all cps (contact people send) because that's the worst thing that can happen to a person feeling down or not well.
You need to keep moving, stay in touch, ask for help. There's no need to keep up appearances and laugh out loud if you don't feel to. A real friend doesn't care and shares your bad times with you as long as you do not take them for granted and are willing to motivate and keep yourself busy too and you know what? Many issues solve themselves and help frequently is given unexpectedly by strangers.

It is not good to feel depressed, and to isolate yourself, when that happens, it is good to talk to someone who guides, gives support in difficult situations, sometimes we believe that there is no way out, but everything has a solution, experts recommend eating chocolate to feel better.

There is no solution for everything but more issues can be solved then we think. The main task is to avoid a depression since once depressed the caring and sharing are over. That's how it works. Thanks for responding.

It made me fly into my own thoughts. Sometimes we get advice and encouragement from many strange people. That we do not know but feel empathy for our bad times.

Indeed. I once had from a total stranger I met on the street. Perhaps it's easier this way?

I think it must be because we do not know each other and then there is no judgment in relation to "I told you so" or to the comment of "again with the same thing", and other things of that kind. Then a stranger sees us suffer and feels a closeness and then gives many better advice without the initial judgment.

And wedo not live together. That's a huge benefit too. Especially for a person like me.

I like your article but at the last past of it I really agree 101% that sometimes strangers can help us motivated and help us in our down situation.

A stranger will see things from a different point of view and it's also good to step out of the circle of family/friends who will see and treat you always in the same way.

Thanks for this inspiring article. It's a big thing since some of us are feeling down right now

I think many do feel down. At times or on a regular base. Not only elderly people but more and more children suffer from it. The only thing you can try is to make your world bigger, try to avoid depression, and ask for help, brainstorm about what is bothering you.
