It's what life is like, school and work are like. Insurance-, all the big companies and politicians practice it. You need to be very flexible or blind and deaf if you do not like to be dragged into a mud.
Although most people avoid living in a mud pool a few seem to love it.
They even love it more than a pig. To a pig, it's a way of staying healthy. To those beings, it's a strategy to attract attention and they do not care about the topic or other's health.
It's hot to demonstrate, to fight. Mud throwers love attention, like to be noticed. It doesn't matter if they are right as long as they are able to manipulate. Like each manipulator they use parts of "facts", ideas people already believe in like the expression "there's no smoke without fire".
It is easy to spread a fire.
Family, neighbors, media, and social media are a great help. So are gossipers and anonymous hotlines. If you really want to harm someone you can.
Some call it "a wake-up call", to others it's "just a game". They join because "they all" do it. Looking forward, thinking about the consequences is not of their concern. The rich get away with it, the poor had a lousy childhood, the "blacks" a terrible history if it comes to their family tree and the rest of the demonstrators is confused. Confused about the issues in the world, pollution, their gender, or the conspiracies about the coronavirus. Altogether a great excuse to push, touch, spit, and scold at innocent people. To make them pay.
As a demonstrator, life is good, life is great.
The flower power period is over but there's enough to demonstrate against and there are plenty of excuses to explain why throwing with mud is necessary, the only reason.
While demonstrators attack the nation, the police and politicians close their eyes. "It's the right of freedom", they say. The same law that makes them close their eyes if women are raped, gay people are beaten up, elderly people are molested. The police can not invest time in those small, individual incidents.
It is different as a certain minister shows up and is touched. Someone yells at him "I kill you, you m..."
This is serious. Suddenly it's a crime, suddenly those mud throwers are not raised well and should be prosecuted.
The only thing I can think about is: What about us, what about me? How come anyone can touch me, scold at and threaten me, throw mud as many as s/he likes? Sorry, minister, I can not take this attack on you seriously. What happened to you is not even 1% of what happened and still happens to others. This is the freedom group you use for your plans. You only pay a very small price for backstabbing and throwing dirt.
