Some stories deserve to be told, that deserve to be analyzed because they leave you learning, teaching, sometimes we confuse many things and even justify them, not everything that glitters is gold, get comfortable and enjoy this reading.
Janeth was born into a family that many considered "Perfect", but everything changed abruptly when her younger sister came into the world, unfortunately, her mother died in childbirth and her beautiful reality became her worst nightmare, the family was devastated, even so, they tried to move forward, for the good of all. When her sister Lois turned one year old, they began to see what was behind the facade of a perfect family.
Their father Steven gave himself to alcohol to cover his sorrows, he became isolated, violent, he did not pay attention to his daughters, Janeth had to become a big sister and mother because there was no one to pay attention to poor Lois, so the years passed until Janeth was 18 and Lois was 10 years old, Steven was still lost in alcohol, but something changed, he became controlling, he became toxic, he did not allow Janeth to study in the university, much less to leave the house, he even controlled who she talked to and the most illogical thing was that none of the girls had the keys to be able to leave or enter when they wanted.
The atmosphere in the house was already very toxic, the girls felt like detainees, in the prison that their father had built, until one day the discussion went up a notch:
Janeth - "Dad, I'm tired of being locked up in my own house, I'm young, I need to study, to do different activities, to make my dreams come true, you can't keep me locked up here."
Steven - "Janeth, as long as I live you will still be here, I don't care what you think or feel, I am not going to lose you like I lost your mother, so you are my property, whether you like it or not."
Janeth - "I will pretend I am not listening to this nonsense you are telling me, you are crazy, you are no longer that tender and nice daddy I once had, you became crazy, alcoholic, aggressive, I despise you, the one who should have died was not Mom but you. Whether you want me to or not, I will leave this house with my sister, you can't keep us here against our will".
While that argument continued to increase, the screams and tone of voice the same, Lois was in her room crying, while she listened as her father slapped her sister to silence her, in a matter of seconds everything was silent so that Lois ran out to see what had happened when she arrived at the living room she found her sister holding her cheek, this was reddened by the hard blow that Steven gave her.
Janeth - "I curse you a thousand times, from today you are no longer my daddy Steven and I swear to God that I will leave this house with my sister, but not before denouncing you to the authorities you will rot in jail."
Lois and her older sister went to their rooms, crying, sad, destroyed, and unhappy for living such a miserable life, where they are prisoners of such a cruel, empty man. The days passed and Steven went out to buy some things and possibly to drink like a madman.
It was there when Janeth and Lois saw a golden opportunity to escape from their father, as soon as they heard the vehicle start and leave, they began to break windows and doors, but they could not find the perfect way out to regain their freedom, until something happened, As if their mother was guiding them, they arrived in the basement of the house and there was a kind of window where the two could escape, however, they heard the car return, then the door of the main entrance opened, yes, Steven had returned, they didn't have much time to escape, it was at that moment or it would never be, the first one to leave was Janeth.
When she was outside the house she felt joy in her soul, peace, tranquility, but there was still a long way to go for that to become a reality, she began to extend her hand for her sister Lois to go upstairs, however it took too long, Steven was there in the basement, turned into a beast, He didn't think twice and pulled his youngest daughter, in such a cruel way, that the girl spun around several times on the floor hitting her head against something sharp that was in the basement, several seconds or minutes passed and the girl never stopped or cried because of the pain.
Janeth understood that the worst had happened, her father, her hero, who should protect them forever, murdered her sister, she was so furious and her emotions were so strong that she started to run as she had never run before until she reached a supermarket 5 blocks from her house, she felt that someone was following her, so she started to scream for help, to call the police because someone wanted to hurt her.

I'm dreading what happened to Lois. I hope there is a happy ending for everyone.
