Do you hope or do you fear?
The beast of insecurity inside your mind speaking
You feel the tension inside yourself. You are insecure. Did you succeed? Did it go well enough? You gave your best but was it enough?
“I hope I did well.”
Have you realised that actually, with this phrase, you are expressing your fear of failure? It is the same as
“I worked hard but I don’t know if I did well.”
This is, in fact, your insecurity speaking.
“I’m not be good enough, so I didn’t do well.”
You are doubting yourself, your abilities and your experience.
Maybe you are a beginner, and you make plenty of mistakes as part of your learning process. Self-doubt is understandable.
Sadly, sometimes experienced people tend not to realise their worth, either. Although they have done their duties for years and successfully completed them, they still doubt their abilities.
“I am poor at my job. I don’t know how to do that properly.”
There is a huge gap and years and years of work from the point when one acknowledges their insecurity to achieving the courage to say.
“I have done this many times. I know how to do it well.”

It is normal. You just have to move forward and better yourself every time. Everyone makes mistakes, though others may not be that obvious but still it's true to everyone
