Excusitis Resolution
Greetings everyone.
Today I am going to share an important topic about which everyone knows is Excusitis.
Those who do not know about it. it is the habit of making Excuse, it seems simple but in reality, it is not.
At this new year, I observed that many people are making fun of new year resolutions. Their fun is justified because 80 percent of people fail in their resolutions in the first-month nut why do we not try to be the person who is in 20 percent. If we want to control our life we don’t need to adopt new habits we have to drop our bad habits and I can invite you to take this resolution of getting rid of these excusitis if you have no new year resolution.
Now, I am going to share the story of Brian Tracy who is a great salesman and manager and author of many self-help books and had expertise in time management and increasing productivity. At the start of his career, he was stuck in a dead-end job for which he had to wake up at 5 am early in the morning and had to change three buses to get to the workplace and then had to work till 7 pm in the evening and then came home in that manner. On top of that the amount he earns after doing that hard work is the bare minimum that he only survives with that money then one day he thinks that whether he should do something to change his life or go with the flow then he thinks that no one would come to change the life he had to work hard to change his life so then started to change and he becomes the greatest salesman he sold many cars and wrote books and become a millionaire.
Now we try to analyze how he got that much success the first thing he started do is that he started investing in himself and he started reading self-help books and because leaders are readers and he started implementing these strategies and changes his condition day by day and then he explained his learning in his books and
He says that people always make excuses and some people say that I am not making excuses and these are genuine reasons but in reality, they are not like some people says my parents are not supportive and If we ask some people to go to the gym they say I can’t afford that and if we ask some people to read the book then they say that I had not enough time or some people have a great business idea and had wanted to earn big amount but they give the excuse that they had not enough funds but in reality, they can easily overcome these kinds of excuses and
To overcome these kinds of excuses they give the solution that go out and see that if any person with same problems had achieved that ambition and if that person can do it why you cannot do it he says that if one person in the world had done it if he had problems like you then any person can do that.
We make choices daily because humans are choosing beings and every day we had to choose between two roads one is easy and one is difficult
On an easy path, we can hang out with friends play some games, and follow the principle of “eat drink and be merry.”
In the difficult path, we have to challenge ourselves and spend time reading and doing things good for our health and have to learn new things and tactics to meet our financial goals and this road is taken by 80 percent of people and maximum people can take the easy way
And it takes little courage to walk on that road and he shares one strategy which makes it easy to walk on that road.it is self-discipline, now, how can we achieve self-discipline and he share that strategy to achieve self-discipline. About 80 percent of the people have some dream goal but when we ask them how can you achieve it they do not know they say one day it will happen and in his strategy he says
· Write the thing or your dream goal on paper.
· Then write which things or tasks, or which are the requirements to achieve that thing.
· Then it is the price you have to pay to achieve that particular task or thing. Think of requirements as a price that you have to enable yourself to pay.
And if someone cant do that he shared the story of his dentist who was not proficient first at a level to be renowned by country then he went to visit Japan where he met an expert dentist of Japan and he learned everything from him and started doing practice his learnings in his country and became the famous dentist of his country.
The purpose of sharing this story is to learn from experts in your field mold you architecture similar to them and you will enable yourself to do epic things.
And simplest of all the strategies he shared is that everyone would think of a goal if he had no goal then,
he makes a list of important things that he has to do in the week and try to add things that give 80 percent result slowly and steadily every day, he would learn how to make lists and circle three important things that he has to do in a week similar with the goal.
I shared these things from his awesome book no excuses which sold million times I learn these new things and I try to implement this in my life and I hope everyone would try to do so.
