As many people on this site already know, I create amateur web games for fun as a hobby for itch.io contests and tend to use websites like read.cash as a blog of sorts to show the kind of progress that I have made when it comes to different games. I also like learning how to work with different game engines. Currently, I am planning to take a free course on Udemy.com in order to learn how to use a new game engine to make mobile games for free in a short period of time. You can see the course here: https://www.udemy.com/share/103JUGBUodcF9RQXg=/.

Hopefully, Clickteam Fusion 2.5 will be a good game engine to use for future game jams, especially ones with a very extensive time crunch. According to the Udemy course, it is a beginner level game engine & it is also a no-code platform (meaning you can code and program for the game engine, but that is not necessary in order to create a video game with it). The company that creates the Clickteam Fusion line of game engines was founded in 1999 with its headquarters in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. While many of non-professionals use Clickteam game engines to make their new games, there are professional indie studios that use Clickteam Engines to make their games.

For example, the Clickteam Engine was used by indie developer Scott Cawthon to create the Five Nights at Freddy's game series that started in 2014 and became a global phenomenon. The indie game Freedom Planet was also made with Clickteam Engine as was Spark the Electric Jester and the incredibly difficult freeware platform game I Wanna Be the Guy. You can buy Clickteam Fusion 2.5 on Steam and on Clickteam's website clickteam.com, but I am going to be downloading the free Windows version of Clickteam Fusion 2.5 for the class. I will also be using this free version that allows you to make games for iOS, Android, HTML5, and MacOS. So, if you are interested in making games for Mac, browser, iPhones, or Android devices, you can try Click Fusion 2.5. I will be giving a proper review on how good of a game engine Clickteam Fusion 2.5 is.
