Yesternight was a Blast!
Weekends are something that I look forward to and as a corporate slave at night this is the only time that I can spend a good sleep with my family but not this Saturday as staff from Hiveph scheduled a webinar to introduce Hive and give some guidelines to the newbies that want to venture into the new platform.
As the team has noticed in the past days, more Filipinos are joining Hive but leave after a few days/ months as either they find the platform complex or their content is not visible to others. The team understood the complexity as we had such hardships before as well and we want to at the very least have everyone joining be familiar with how the process goes. The team isn't expecting 100% absorption of the topics tackled but at the very least they had a glimpse of what's in it for them if they join Hive.
The webinar was a 2 part series btw and we started at around 7:00 PM MNL time. The first part, was just some basic information on Hive, how to create a post, and suggestions for creating introductions plus the reward system. The 2nd was quite complex as we tackled some of the nitty-gritty stuff in Hive such as wallet, voting power, delegations, etc.
This is the image from the first webinar, I don't have my camera on as I am shy. Nah, my camera wasn't available as I am using a desktop and my phone's charging plus my little one was already sleeping so extra lighting will wake her up for sure and I don't want that to happen as people may hear some baby crying while I am saying stuff.
Why are we doing such webinars?
The team believes in the talent of each one of the Filipinos in the blockchain but since they are not quite familiar with how everything goes new users/ old users are quite lost in the process and leave in the early game.
Most of the staff members are from Steemit so somehow we already survived the bear market and the low earnings/non-existent times and we do not want everyone to experience such. Back then we are thrilled if we see a $0.05 cents upvoted and happy if we will hit a dollar amount in our content.
Right now, though we still want some earnings the majority of staff will just focus on building the community itself, empowering Pinoys and trying to help the best that we can. ( WALANG PERA SA HIVE PH but we can give guidance and information so that you can become a better user here as long as you ask questions ).
Onboarding Programs
If you have noticed, staff always encouraged people to at least wait for the webinar to end before you make an account as we want the participants to be a part of the onboarding program that the team has. I myself is part of the onboarding team including some of the speakers on the first part of the webinar thus we want the new blood to be part of it.
If you haven't created an account yet, you may want to send me a message through discord and we can talk about it. I may be able to entertain Pinoys for the onboarding program because I have such restrictions with other languages and the timezone difference. ( medyo mahirap magturo ng mga bagay-bagay pag nag English lalo na kung complex and idi discuss)
Conclusion:
Joining multiple income stream website is a must nowadays, hirap na ng buhay mahal pa ang bilihin. Thus it is a great blessing for everyone that we have Hive and also Read.cash as an added source of income for us in these trying times.
Glad to have everyone on board and this is Tp if you have questions just drop by in the comment box.
I wasn't expecting that the 2 seminars will be fun and amazing. In fairness, kahit may hearing problem ako pero pinilit ko mapakinggan at intindihin lahat. This is a good oportunity for newbies like me. Yey! Go go go, Team TP's.
