Gentle, yellow flower, mimosa
If the rose is the queen, then the mimosa is definitely the princess of flowers! This flower captivates with its beauty and announces the arrival of spring, bringing the scent of the south, love and the sea. Its color is bright yellow, and many songs have been sung about it. Also, this flower is celebrated, so people in Herceg Novi have been celebrating mimosas for the 50th year in a row!
In Mediterranean countries, mimosa symbolizes life, immortality, platonic love and retreat. Mimosas signify subtle thoughts and tender feelings, respect, cordiality and serenity. If they are golden yellow, then they symbolize power and luxury. In ancient Egyptian culture, the mimosa was a solar tree that signified rebirth, eternal life, initiation and innocence. She represented Neit, she was considered a sacred tree.
Mimosa Festival has long been known to tourists, since it is one of the oldest and most popular tourist products in Montenegro, but little is known that this flower originates from Australia. Mimosa belongs to the genus Acacia and was brought to Herceg Novi by famous Boka sailors from their long voyages. Due to the favorable climate, Mediterranean air and about 200 sunny days a year, this flower soon became widespread and permanently inhabited in Herceg Novi. With the help of the then Boka Tourist Association, the people of Novlje founded the Mimosa Festival back in 1969, which soon became one of the most visited manifestations of the former state. In 1975, this festival was ceremoniously opened by Josip Broz Tito, and the first lady of the then SFRY, Jovanka Broz, only two years later. Famous majorettes participated in the opening of the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo. The carnival of majorettes with trombonists and wind instruments is still popular today, they have visited over 50 cities across Europe.
Dressed in striking white dresses and red coats, with white and gold pom-poms in their hands, and accompanied by a brass band in similar uniforms, the majorettes walked down the street and performed choreography.
Mimosas are extremely delicate flowers. When he notices a small disturbance, he closes his leaves and only after 15-20 minutes will he open them again. In nature, mimosa is a fast-growing plant. He likes sandy soils and sun. Mimosa should always be planted in a place where it is protected from the wind. They are an ideal decoration for the home. From its branches can be woven a wreath for the door, they are beautiful alone in a vase or serve as part of a colorful bouquet.
The Greek cradle of civilization
If the road ever takes you to Greece, do not spend time only on the sea and beautiful beaches. Be sure to visit these wonderful mysterious places.
I was drawn to the energy of this mysterious and ancient mountain. Penteli is a globally known mountain characterized by ancient quarries and an amazing crystal structure, as well as a golden marble imprint that was used to build the holy temple of the Parthenon on the Acropolis. However, what particularly interested me was Davelis Cave, which is located on the southwest side of the mountain.
A hidden and mysterious place near Athens is almost unvisited. The reason is the numerous superstitions that only fans of the occult come to explore.
Resting above a marble quarry, 45 meters wide and 62 meters high, Davelis Cave is a huge, enchanting and steeply lowered cave that could serve as a scenography for a horror film. Visitors reported that electronic devices were failing in this cave, that gleaming towers, inexplicable creatures, water dripping upwards, eerie voices, and remnants of satanic rituals and much more could be seen. By the way, the Davelis Cave was used as a sanctuary in the 5th century, and during the Middle Ages, hermits and Orthodox monks began to arrive in Pentela either because of spiritual exercises or because they were religiously persecuted, and the place was named the Cave of the Immaculate.
The monastery complex of Meteora, located between Kalambaka and Kastraki in Greece, is a unique world attraction, because it is built on completely inaccessible rocks that rise up to 550 meters into the sky.
In free translation from Greek, the name Meteori would mean "hung in the sky", which is the first association when looking at this holy place. The ancient monasteries of this "heavenly city" were built on cliffs and the very tops of the rocks, so because of their unique appearance and the mystique that surrounds them, they are a real magnet for tourists from all over the world.
This monastery complex is a God-given place for the cruel, ascetic life of monks, whose ascetic cells can still be seen in the hollows of the rocks, making us wonder how it is possible that where there are literally no conditions for survival, life still survived. The inaccessibility and isolation of the monastery allowed the monks a relatively safe life. Pedestrian approaches to the buildings were built only at the beginning of the 20th century, so that today they can be reached by a combination of paths and steps, and car parks have been made.
We all know that Greece is the cradle of civilization, the existence of democracy and the coast that any sea in the world could wish for, but there are some facts about it that are unknown to many Greeks.

I dream of a better world
Who am I? What am I? I'm just a dreamer, whose gaze fades into fog and mist. I love you by the way, like I dream, like many others on that earth.
In order to make our dreams come true, we must first wake up. But sometimes I don't want to wake up. I love to dream! I admit, I'm a dreamer. Dreamers are people who find their way only in the moonlight. I often run into dreams because java is not what I want it to be. I love that other world, where anything is possible. Where things go exactly the way I want them to. Where there is no disease, sorrow, war, hatred, malice, selfishness.
I often fall asleep thinking about what the world would be like without crime, hatred and all the things that could happen to anyone. What a world it would be if there was no fear, no rain and if everyone was happy. No man is an island; we are all part of the same continent. There is diversity but that doesn’t make us stand out. Diversity makes life richer - part of us is in the Himalayas, part of us is in the stars, part of us is in the roses. Part of us is on the wings of birds, part of us is in the greenery of the trees. We spread all around. Experiencing it as a reality will transform your approach to life, it will transform your every act, it will transform your whole being.
You will become full of love; you will become full of respect for life. For the first time, in my opinion, you will become religious - not Christians, not Hindus, not Mohammedans, but truly, purely religious.
In one of his works, Friedrich Nietzsche said, "The greatest misfortune will befall mankind on the day when dreamers disappear."
Yes or no ?
A common question that people ask is, are tattoos appropriate, beautiful, cultural ... Although tattoos have become a normal occurrence today, it still happens that people have prejudices towards works of art on their skin. The decision to get a tattoo is important in your life, like the decision to have a child or get married. If you are thinking about getting a tattoo for the first time, think about it.
Tattoos are very popular, especially among the younger population and it is not surprising that they are slowly becoming a popular fashion style. There are more and more models who have tattoos in large numbers, and most importantly, they are not afraid to show them. Famous actors and actresses such as Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie and others proudly wear their tattoos.
Wolfgang Boimler, a professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Regensburg, points out that the colors used for long-lasting and colorful tattoos are, in fact, intended for printers and car painting! These dyes have not been tested for subcutaneous use at all, and are therefore believed to have a detrimental effect, especially because one part of the injected dye reaches the bloodstream into some part of the body. Color tattoos thus contain various metals and chemicals that cause allergies and must not be used for cosmetic purposes. Black color for tattoos is essentially - industrial soot! Since tattoos do not belong to cosmetics or medicines, it is easy to pour anything and it is necessary to make lists of banned substances, perform color testing as well as possible reactions to them. People voluntarily get tattoos and take risks.
The most common reasons are that, tattoos are not suitable for some situations, such as work and the like. Opinions differ on this issue. Some people think that it is not terrible if you come to work tattooed, while others still think that it is not stylistically and culturally appropriate. Large companies are constantly arguing whether their reputation based on the opinion of the environment is more important to them, or whether they will still decide to advance their business, ignoring the physical appearance of workers, and focusing on their performance. Although this topic has long been obsolete in America, our mentality has only recently looked a little more tolerantly at the idea of tattoos and considers them less and less an expression of rebellion, and more and more a personal stamp or style. Some employers have a policy: "no visible tattoos", and we have those, such as Google, Target or UPS, who completely tolerate the styles of their employees. Given that we live in the Balkans, we must be aware that not all employers, especially in state-owned companies, will be open to our tattoos.
Let's take into account that in our leading positions there are still mostly older, experienced people, who did not live in a time when tattooing was an everyday thing and it is very difficult for them to accept this kind of expression of creativity.
So it may be wiser to choose a tattoo that you can cover with clothes in case it is necessary, instead of losing a business opportunity due to some big tattoo.

I want silence. I want my thoughts .... I want my freedom !!!
We all have friends, children, parents who take care of us and bring us happiness, but there are moments when we are alone and when we simply want to win from problems. When we were little, we cried for every little thing, and even now we know how to cry for love - those little words of only five letters that convey so much meaning and no matter how small, it always hurts the most. That word is not uttered lightly precisely because of its power, it knows that it hits you so hard that your wounds never heal, and that's how when you are alone, those wounds open and let all your sorrow come out.
I am often asked, how come I am almost always alone? and I answer that it is the most beautiful time for me, my time, that it is the most that a man can do for himself, and that I think everyone should spend a day alone with himself, an hour, two in dead silence.
Man lives in a constant balance of moments of loneliness and moments of society. Although common loneliness is viewed by many with a negative connotation, on the contrary, there are also many people who enjoy their lonely moments so much that they prefer these plans to an alternative to social skills.
People who enjoy their loneliness have an intense inner world. Man is immersed in the constant dynamics of relationships with others by being in society. For example, relationship with colleagues, life with neighbors in the neighborhood and family. Not all personal relationships are completely happy and satisfying. Many of them are perceived as a social protocol, not as an enjoyment. From this perspective, moments of loneliness become a pleasant break that encourages emotional rest.
I didn't say, "I want to be alone." I said, "I want you to leave me alone." I want my hours of solitude. I want silence. I want my thoughts .... I want my freedom !!!
Cake and coffee...
Hello friends. I hope you are well today. I was diligent. I made vanilla. I've been doing this for a year now. I make vanilla for a restaurant. They serve it with coffee. That's how I increase my household budget. This traditional dessert has been adorning holiday tables for years, and the prestigious portal for culinary recipes "Food 52" has declared them the best holiday cake in the world.
The smell and taste of a soft cake with homemade jam is very reminiscent of childhood and holidays. There is almost no child in Serbia whose mother or grandmother did not make vanilla, and the recipe for this simple cake is often a family secret that is carefully kept and passed on to new generations.
Small vanilla cakes are associated with many childhood and grandmother's kitchen, and in 2015 they were voted the best small cakes in the world!
Here's what you need for vanilla:
100 g vanilla powdered sugar
250 grams of fat
200 g of crystal sugar
1 egg
2 egg yolks
juice of one lemon
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
200 grams of ground walnuts
500 g of flour
Jam
Preparation:
In a bowl, mix the fat with the sugar and stir until you get a creamy mass. Add walnuts and flour to the beaten egg, yolk and lemon juice and stir until you get a uniform dough. Leave the resulting dough overnight.
The next day, roll out the dough to about half a cm on a well-floured work surface, and then use a small mold to take out the shapes and arrange them in a baking tray. Bake them in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 12 minutes, until they turn white, and then let them cool. When they reach room temperature, spread jam on each biscuit and cover with another biscuit.
Roll each cake in vanilla sugar. You can also serve the cake two or three days after baking, with coffee, tea or mulled wine.

Talk to yourself
When you see a man walking down the street and talking to himself or he is crazy or building a house, that is a saying that is used in our country. If you woke up unmotivated in the morning and said out loud: "Come on, get up and go to work", that is nothing unusual, especially if you are faced with a situation that makes you nervous. It turned out that science recognizes this behavior as a very effective type of mental exercise that has a beneficial effect on the mental health of the individual. Expressing some inner thoughts out loud can help you better understand both the present and the future, so this is something that each of us should practice. There is research that has dealt with the topic of which parts of the brain are activated in those moments. Among them are certainly those who are responsible for speech and opinion, and it is certain that people use this way of speaking in moments of difficult dilemmas.
Each of us sometimes talks to ourselves and that’s okay. People usually do that when they have a lot to do or the need to say what they think a lot about out loud. This is how thoughts relax and settle down, and some of us carry that habit from childhood when we talked to ourselves while we were playing. This is how science explains what it looks like when we are aware and know how to talk to ourselves.
Tired of looking for the good where there is none, I simply close all the doors where the stench enters, even in the face of those who have disappointed me ... I realize that I don't always have to forgive everyone, I turn my back on envy and jealousy, I don't ask questions or I look for answers, I listen but I don't hear, I laugh but I don't show my teeth, I don't ask or demand, I don't expect anything ...
I remove everything that sabotages my happiness and live in absolute peace with myself ... and my day is somehow brighter and fuller.
The colors of heaven and earth fill me, the snow melts in my soul and I still believe in myself ...
It's not indifference, it's not emptiness, it doesn't matter ... it's self-control of the soul. And a protective cover. From people, from everything ... In order to raise my morale and self-confidence, I talk to myself.
Every morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I have the power to make myself happy or unhappy today. I can choose what will be. Yesterday is over, tomorrow is not yet, I only have one day, today and I will be happy today.
Love has no limits ..
Somewhere in the distance my gaze disappears someone in the distance my heart loves. In the evening of the wound, the heart has no peace my thoughts dear fly when evening falls and I am left alone, sadness overwhelms me. Don't cry darling, don't grieve your darling will return to you. We’ve had this wonderful relationship, for a couple of months now. Long distance relationship, we fell in love very quickly, that feeling when you find a person you can talk to all day, who supports you, who accepts you for who you are. We saw each other a couple of times, I felt that love, the attention, that look full of zeal. I tried to show him that love, to express my emotions, I was honest in everything. And from his side I felt it, he gave me love, made me happy and fulfilled.
Can there be something that connects two who love each other no matter how far apart they are? Love has no limits ... there is no distance, but can it endure everything that comes unexpectedly and for how long? Because life, no matter how beautiful, can be complicated. Yes, we are far ... quite ... But, over time, that distance has become so unimportant ... Because kilometers can't do anything, if two people love each other ... If they are impatiently waiting for each next meeting, in time they have taken each other even more. .. and every moment they spend together is unrepeatable, wonderful, unique ... There is no room for quarrels, just letting go of the heart ... Sometimes it decides better than ourselves ... Such relationships can be quite successful, and in such relationships there's actually that real love ... at least I think so. Boundless, unconditional ... When you live just to see that person, when you know he's waiting for you, somewhere ... anywhere ... It's enough to just know that he exists in your life ... well, wherever .. And every reunion strengthens the relationship even more, distance can sometimes connect ... only if the two really love each other, and if they trust each other ... Otherwise, the relationship breaks down, because people are impatient, selfish, they want everything, immediately ... And in long-distance relationships one has to wait ... hope, believe ..
The wait sometimes lasts, but then the moments you share with your loved one are even more valuable!
Interesting facts about kangaroos
Today I was watching an interesting show about kangaroos on TV. That gave me the idea to write you this article. The kangaroo had a chance to see only at the zoo.
When the famous British navigator Captain Cook arrived in Australia, he saw animals that did not exist anywhere else (at least in the places he visited) and wanted to know more about them, for a start - what they are called. He asked the Aborigines in English for their name, and they answered - "gangurru".
Captain Cook thought at the time that this was the name of these animals, but it is true that the word "gangurru" actually means "I don't understand" in Aboriginal. As he did not know Aboriginal language, Captain Cook accepted this name for a hitherto unknown species of animal.
The kangaroo is one of the strangest animals that adorns our planet. A female kangaroo carries a fetus for thirty-six days. At that point, the kangaroo cub is extremely underdeveloped, with the exception of the forelimbs and facial structures. Nature has taken care of that, and the reason lies in the fact that she has to climb up to her mother's nipple to start sucking. At the same time, its size is unrealistically small: it is not bigger than a bean. Immediately after she was born, she climbed to her breast and hung on to it. He will stay in his mother's bag for the next seven to ten months, when he will finally pierce his nose and discover the world. But he will not stay outside for too long until he is a year and a half old, when he will become independent.
Don't let it break you
Hello dear friends. I hope you are well. Some strange and difficult times have come. Interpersonal alienation has become a problem of the modern age. The corona virus pandemic has brought so many changes into our lives.
"Keep your distance, avoid shaking hands, hugging, kissing and touching any kind," they repeat to us every day. In this crisis situation, we need to be as close as possible, in order to bear it more easily, and we are asked to do the opposite: to distance ourselves as much as possible physically. That lack of support and contact leads us to negative emotions.
The recommendation of distancing will surely last until the discovery of the vaccine for Covid 19, and that distance will fundamentally affect human nature and leave as a trace an increased degree of aversion to another human being - aversion and caution that will certainly last long after the disappearance of Covid 19. When we feel lonely, when we lack interaction with people, we feel vulnerable and threatened.
Although it seemed to us at the very beginning that Covid-19 would not stay with us for long, ten months later, the fight was still going on.
Everything is different, relations between people are different, people became alienated from each other during the epidemic, you no longer have closer contacts, and if you have them, they are no longer so close because they are based on fear. You can't go to the bishop, to a concert, to a theater play. There is no social life, you are forced to live within your family.
Just as physical growth requires food, air and water, so psychological growth has its needs that must be met. Satisfied need for belonging, connection with friends, emotional partner, team, work group, family… gives us the elan to accept new challenges. Therefore, dear friends, do not allow yourself to fall into this state. Spend some time in nature, with a small number of people ... sing, jump, act like children ....
Sage...
Sage (lat. Salvia officinalis) is a shrubby perennial plant that grows to a height of 30-60cm. I have this plant in my garden. It is very resistant to pests. It has a specific smell. The user is its strong smell of mussels and mosquitoes.
It is an ingredient in many medications used to rinse the mouth and throat for inflammation. in folk medicine it is used as a remedy for inflammatory processes of the intestines, stomach, liver, kidneys, bile and urinary tract.
I always have fresh or dried sage in my home pharmacy. The leaf contains 1-2.5% of essential oil whose main ingredients are thujone, cineole and camphor. The medicinal ingredients of sage have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, surface-shrinking tissue and reduce sweating. In the form of an aqueous extract and tincture, sage leaf is applied externally to rinse and coat the mucous membranes in inflammation of the mouth and throat. Sage tea is drunk for indigestion and increased sweating.
The Romans called it "sacred grass", believing that it protects against diseases and helps fertility. The reason why it should become, if not a regular, then a very common drink that you start the day with, is that it is extremely useful for preserving brain functions. The ancient Romans knew this, so they called sage tea "wisdom tea". In modern medicine, sage extract is added to toothpastes to have a beneficial effect on teeth and gums. Recently, tablets against sore throat and breath freshening based on the healing properties of sage have also appeared on the market. In cosmetics, it is used to make creams against skin infections and herpes or anti-dandruff shampoos. Sage is also used as a spice and addition to dishes.
