Worrying is normal for people.

People who don't have a job and are looking for one are worrying where they can find one or where to apply, whether they can find one, so they can feed their family.

Those who are suffering from an illness worries about the medical treatment that is best for them. They worry and are anxious whether they will still feel better or whether their sickness will still be cured.

Students worry about getting high grades. Whether they can survive, pass each academic year and graduate.

Parents worry about their children, specially those who have teenage children. They worry about them getting engaged and being friends with people or peers that might have a negative influence on their child such as getting involved with drugs and other vices. While others worries about being unable to understand their children and being unable to provide all their emotional needs.

Indeed, young or old alike worries. They worry about various things.

Most of us also worries about the future. We worry about ourselves, what we will do in the future. For young adults, it is stressful  to think about whether to go to school and finish a degree or find a work instead. There are single people who worry about whether to get married or not.

Most of the time, we have a lot of options, but it is hard to make our choice or decision.

But in this article, I will mainly discuss about the young adults or the youths. Worrying is common to young adults and like previously mentioned, there's a variety of reasons for their worries. Statistics and studies show that the top most concern of the young adults nowadays is about getting a job. And since young adults are in a stage of life where they want to feel loved, the fear of losing someone dear or someone they love is also one of the top list of worries. While there are also some who worries about their parent's health, specially those who have parents that are getting old.

A survey was also conducted among teenagers, they were asked what their top most concern is, and it was found that one of the major concerns of teenagers is the pressure about getting good grades. Furthermore, some youths also worries about their safety.

But some also worries about their social life. As a young adult I could relate to this. When I was still on my teenage years, I also worry a lot about having a lot of friends more than getting high grades or getting a boyfriend.

But now that I'm mature enough, that is the least among my worries. Yet, a lot of teens want to fit in, feel accepted and loved by their peers. Some wants to look cool among their peers, so they worry about their style, the way they talk, the way they walk and the way they look. No one wants to look stupid and become the laughingstock among their peers and their peers.

So it is really important to control our thinking and behavior. We cannot always control our circumstances, but we can control our worries. A lot of people when worrying about something are immobilized. But we can actually put our worries into actions! Is it really possible? Yes it is.

Don't make things become too complicated by worrying too much. Minimize your anxiety by not thinking too much about things.

Like I mentioned at the beginning of this article, some students worries about whether they can pass all the requirements at school. Moreover, school works can really become a source of worries, maybe as a student you have a lot of homework or projects, and you worry whether finishing them in time. So make sure of the more important things. Make sure you know what our priorities are.

Sometimes, it is better to ask for an assistance from an experienced or mature individual. Try to talk about your worries with a trusted individual, perhaps your parents, a matured friend or an older sibling.

If you feel like you are suffering from worries and anxieties, don't carry the burden alone and suffer in silence. Talk about it with others and get an encouragement.

But not all situations can be easily dealt with. Some problems ca't be easily resolved. In some situation, problems becomes out of control, and it is really hard to remain calm at times. And when this happens, what others do is they deprive themselves of proper nutrition by not eating properly. But this is not a wise thing to do. To face your problems you have to be healthy and well-nourished. When you refuse to eat, you deprive yourself of getting proper nutrition, and it will only make you weak, and thus it may even lead to being unable to think properly, it will make it hard for you to withstand stress, and it may even lead to breakdowns. At times like this, prayer works best. The bible says to throw our burden to God, and he will sustain us. This is an effective step.

I've been there before, and I must say that it is an effective way to release tension and eliminate the stress and worries because you know that someone is there to listen to you and help you.

So next time that you worry about something, try to find ways how to deal with the problems, seek advice from people you trust and most of all, seek help from God almighty through prayers.

I'm not worrying, but nowadays I mostly think about whether I'll still get a permanent job that is in line with what I studied in college or should I change my path.
