This gas pipeline project from Iran had started to shake up some powers from its inception and there were many other reasons for the overthrow of Benazir Bhutto's government in November 1996. This project was also a big reason for it. Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had said in a question and answer session with the media in Islamabad that the United States would not allow a gas project from Iran. Subsequently, in January 2010, the United States formally ordered Pakistan to completely and completely secede from the project and in return offered to provide Pakistan with cheap electricity and gas from Tajikistan via Afghanistan in addition to the LNG terminal. Will On the other hand, a prominent figure of an Arab country offered Pakistan on April 15, 2012 that in exchange for gas from Iran, we would offer private cash loans and oil.
