One day Hazrat Abu Horairah (R) came to the Prophet (SAW) and wept. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked, 'O Abu Horairah, why are you weeping?' Abu Horairah said, "My mother beat me." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'Why did you do such an insult?'
Abu Horairah said, "No, sir, I have not done anything disrespectful." Since it was night when I had to go home from your court, my mother asked me why I was late and I spoke to you. And hearing your words, my mother beat me in anger and said, maybe you will leave my house or you will leave the court of Muhammad (peace be upon him). I said, she is my mother. You are an old man. Keep hitting as hard as you can. Get me out of the house to kill me. Yet I cannot leave my Messenger.
Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'Your mother has expelled you and you have come to me to complain about this?' I have nothing to do here.
Hadrat Abu Horairah said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have not come here to complain for my mother." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, then why did you come?
Abu Horairah said, "I know that you are the Prophet of Allah." If you raised your hand and prayed for my mother, so that Allah may guide my mother.
And immediately the Prophet (peace be upon him) raised his hand and prayed in the court of Allah, O Allah! I pray that you guide Abu Horairah's mother. "
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prayed and Abu Horairah was running towards the house. Some people from behind pulled Abu Horairah's shirt and said, O Abu Horairah! Why are you running
Then Abu Horairah said, "O Companions, let go of my shirt. Let me run."
I am running because I arrived earlier or my Prophet's prayer arrived earlier. Hazrat Abu Horairah started knocking on the door. When his mother opened the door from inside, Abu Horaira saw her water flowing through her white hair. Then my mother said to me, O Abu Horairah! I am very sorry after killing you. I thought to myself that my son did not go to any bad place. Why did I kill him? I'd rather be ashamed to kill you. O Abu Horairah! I took a bath. Take me to the court of the Prophet (peace be upon him) quickly.
And immediately Abu Horairah took his mother to the court of the Prophet (peace be upon him). And after reciting Kalima to his mother, he became a Muslim. Father and mother are the middle door of paradise. If you want, you can break down the door, or you can protect it.
