The snow is thick Dan is running around the maze, a man's voice calling him "Danny boy! come over pup...come to papa.." the snow is so cold Dan keeps on running away from his father, he is scared to be caught. Dan's father was drunk, he was a mad man when he drinks, that night he killed a man and then he chased Dan and he wants him dead too.
This is a story of a boy who has psychic powers who can see both sides of the living and the dead this was written by one of my favorite writer/ author Stephen King. I would like to share with you this random part of the story and if ever you like it I will narrate it to you. Enjoy reading my friends.
20 years later
Dan woke up, he was dreaming again and he is holding a bottle of whiskey in his hand. Dan gets drunk most of the time, he would spend the night in a bar hanging out with girls, drinking and drugs. He's nowhere else to go, and one day he rides on the bus with no direction. He ended in a place (New Hampshire town)that he thinks he can start a brand new life. Dan was standing in a mini amusement park made by local children, Billy noticed Dan who looks disturbed and stressed out, Billy approach Dan and offers him some help.
Billy "you're new in town?"
Dan " how do you know?"
Billy " I know people by the look, they just come and go."
Then Billy offered Dan a place to live in. (apartment where Billy also lives) Billy was a nice person he helps Dan stop his alcoholism, Dan meets new friends and now work in a nursing home where he will show his SHINE again.
Who is Dan? (Danny Torrance)
Dan is the only child of Jack and Wendy Torrance. Dan when you look at him he is intelligent, loving, adventurous, and kind. But Dan is special, he can see and communicate to the souls, see dead people, and can also read the minds of the living. Dan as a child he was hunted by the souls who happened to be trapped and they need Dan to cross over. But Dan made a locker for each one of them in his mind and keep it there so that they won't bother him anymore.
SHINE is called to a person who has a special ability to see both worlds from the living and the dead, in the story mostly young children who have this Shine, are the most powerful in the other part of this story, the steam of this child (who have SHINE) is the food of the immortals they want to consume the ability of each child who has this SHINE to live longer.
For now, I just cut it for a while, next time I will tell you what are those Immortals do and the job of Dan in the nursing home. Hope you like my narrative storytelling thank you for your time friends and good day to all.
