How are you my dear readers, hope all is well. I was thrilled also in my last episode 😂 I dreamed that I was writing the 3rd part hahaha. Well, I'm thinking maybe this would be the last part but will see😅.
Yuri step on the brakes
Yuri: Why did you cream?!
Annie: Akala ko kase re rapein mo ako..
Yuri: what?! muka ba akong rapist?
Annie: thank you nga pala at napadaan ka kanina.
Yuri: Hindi ako napadaan dun bigla kase tumigil makina ng sasakyan ko at bigla ka namang sumakay. Sino ba yung mga lalake?
Annie: ha? ehh.. natakot ako kase mga lasing. pero salamat pa rin.
Yuri: Saan ka ba uuwi?
Annie: Sa Alabang SM lang ako.
There Yuri drops Annie at SM Alabang and she was thankful for helping her even if it's not intentional.
Yuri: wait! whats you're your name?
Annie: Annie
Yuri: Nice to know you Annie (with a smile)
Annie waves goodbye at him.
The next day Annie was busy working her co-worker called her that her phone is ringing, she picked up her phone.
Other lines: Annie, gusto ka kausapin ng papa mo.
Annie: nay, busy po ako tatawag nalang ako sainyo.
(Annie ended the call)
After a while it was 3:00 in the afternoon, Annie talks to her boss if she could go home early because she is not feeling well. Her boss let her go and told her to rest. She left the store and stayed for a while in a coffee shop, Annie was thinking about her parents.
Annie: Pa, bakit nyo ba pinagpipilitan na ipakasal ako sa taong di ko naman gusto.
Father: Annie, he is a good man and you know him since you were little.
Annie: Pa iba ung bata pa kame, I was 5 years old then and haven't seen him ever since.
Father: No other answer Annie you will marry him!
Annie: No!!
Yuri: Hey Annie! are you okay?
( Annie wipe her tears she didn't notice Yuri was there)
Annie: I'm fine.. ano ginagawa mo dito?
Yuri: Ah well my father's office is just around the corner, bibili lang ng kape.
Did you seem like crying?
Annie: ah wala to pagod lang, sige aalis na ako.
Yuri: Can we have coffee sometime?
Annie: ahh ok sige..
Annie went home and was still bothered about what happened back home. She was thinking if she will decide to go home her father will insist on that marriage proposal and she doesn't want it. But she misses her mother, maybe she is unhappy about leaving. Annie is feeling guilty for all that happened, she was thinking, what if she could come back home and tell her father that she already has a boyfriend maybe he would not insist on that marriage. But who would that be? (the boyfriend) in Annie's mind.
Annie and Yuri got their time together they have coffee and a nice conversation. It seems that they can become good friends. In Annie's thought, he's not bad after all. Annie felt at ease talking to Yuri and he is too and after a while, they become friends and sometimes they go out.
One day Annie ask Yuri a favor if he could play as her boyfriend. She told Yuri about the arranged marriage that her father wanted and Yuri agreed on Annie's plan.
2 months pass
A phone call
Other lines: Annie, may sakit mama mo, gusto ka nyang makita.
Annie: nanay sabihin mo uuwi ako at magpalakas siya. (Annie was crying)
Annie excuses herself from work and went home she also told Yuri that she will be gone for a few weeks. It was a long ride from Manila to Baguio. When she arrived home her Nanay (yaya) welcomed her and hug her, she was overwhelmed and cry she ask for her mother.
Annie: si mama kumusta?
Nanay: mabuti na siya konte, kase nandian ka na(with a smile) nasa kwarto siya.
Annie went straight to her mother's room as she entered she saw her father she kisses their hands and sat beside her mother.
Father: Annie have you decided now?
Annie: Pa, it's not the right time to ask, please stop.
Father: but when?! well it's not you who will decide, it is me whether you like it or not!
Annie cried to her mother, her father left the room. She talks to her mother that she was sorry for living and if ever this would come to worse she will never marry that guy.
Annie spends few more weeks there and she never knew that her father is planning a small gathering (pamamanhikan) together with his Kumpadre family especially his son.
