Secret Scent

Good day to all my fellow writers and my readers hope you all doing fine 😀  I would like to share some part of my love life, I don't know if it's funny or odd. 

Before I met my husband, I had a long-time boyfriend since college we've been together for 4 years and 6 months (talagang inalala😜) we do have a long on and off relationship but I just pic some of the memorable ones.  

Most of us love perfume, cologne, and other scents. But I just love the scent of the Cool Water from Davidoff (if you are familiar with that) I used to buy it from a perfume store before but now it's not on my priority list😜( tiis nalang sa J&J na blue🤣) 

Anyway, before I don't know and hadn't noticed a guy using that Cool Water scent, mostly I smelled strong-scented cologne like Axe. Then I noticed this guy (my boyfriend) we were on the same subject and every day I smell his perfume. I was like being hypnotized by his scent, and he was just a distance away from me and later I know that he also noticed my scent. Then the attraction happened, we became friends for a while(because I just came out from brake ups) then after the semester break we become official.  

I was sad that he told me that his father wanted him to transfer to another school and we get separated from each other. I told him that "we need to break up then"  for me it's better that way because we will never know what will happen when we're apart (we both don't have cellphone's then) but he insisted that we stay that way, he said that he will write me letters and to be delivered to the school.  

The time came, it was summer and my boyfriend told me that he and his father is going to Bacolod and maybe he would be studying there next school year. I was shocked, I was thinking that he would have to take a summer class before he transfer. My tears fell, I don't know what to feel that day, but he promised to send me letters. 

I have my summer classes, indeed he wrote me a letter and addressed it in school. I didn't know, only my friend noticed that my name was listed on a bulletin board " YOU HAVE MAIL " is the caption, then we went to the student admin office and get my mail. My heart was pumping and I was so excited to open it and my friend keeps on giggling at the side. I scented his perfume and I suddenly turned around and I thought it was him but it was the letter I am holding. I almost cried while reading the letter, it's just missing him so much. The letter continued until my summer class ended and always the same scent he put on the letters. I put it in a plastic box so that the scent won't fade and I always smell it before I go to sleep.  

I could not write him back because he has no right address yet, she always assures me that he is convincing his father to come back to finish his studies here in our place. After a while it was our 4th year in college, he still manage to send me mails but not as often, I just understand that he might be busy with his studies and me too. I just make myself busy. Then our first semester ended and a surprise came.  There is a dog stuff toy came, I thought it was a letter I was standing near the door and I smelled his perfume, it's just the toy and I smelled the toy but it's not, then a reflection covered the light when I look back I saw his face had a big smile on me. I was so happy to see him I was really surprised when he said that he is going to continue his studies in our school.
