The Goal for this Day is not Surviving, it's ...

4 13

We actually have three tasks every day: To get up in bed, to survive, and to go back to bed. But it's not survival that we aim to every day. Whether we have a 9-5 job that sucks that life out of us or we are working as a pro already, survival is not the goal we need to have. Actually, it never was. I thought it was before but since I experienced a lot for living for over two decades now, I realized a lot of things.

The goal for this day is not surviving, it's ACCEPTANCE.

Accept that we can't do everything we needed to do. Accept that we are not going to be accepted by the people we need love from. Accept that we are not going to earn the money we need. And accept that it is never your responsibility only on why something happens.

We can't do everything we need to do.

We are not a perfect person. We can't fly without having wings or a jet pack or whatever machine we need to have to fly. Though we can soar as high as we want to. Ever been in Cloud Nine? Well, people who do everything to get what they want are one of my favorite persons. However, it is not the same case when you exactly "everything". Accept the fact that it's hard to do everything on your own.

We are not going to be accepted by people.

People have different perspectives and judgments. It is hard to please people. It's like talking to a wall that will never talk back. In my case, I actually want people to like my personality rather than my looks since that's what I do when I see or meet strangers. Unfortunately, we didn't grow up in the same community, we didn't have the same schooling, we didn't play the same toys and we don't have the same mind. Accept that not everyone is fond whenever they see and meet us.

We are not going to earn more money.

We all strive to do our best, to get the things we want to have. They say that if we work hard, we will get the freedom, financially and emotionally, that we need. But it is not the case for everybody. There are some cases that people are not lucky enough to have things. For example, farmers work hard each year to get the profit they need and to put food in our tables. My uncle is a farmer. He actually received at the end like hundreds of dollars but if you compare it to what he invested in, alongside blood and sweat, it didn't even meet halfway. Since LIFE IS NEVER FAIR, they receive just half of what they put in.

Life is like a book. You are entitled to what the story is and to how it will end. The next day is called a new chapter. That chapter will either be the same you or the new you.
