“Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax” -Mark Black
Relaxation is to rest, release, and unwind.
This is such an encouraging and motivational yet simple quote! Sometimes, we get so mixed up in our hectic lifestyles with deadlines to meet and work-life pressures that we actually forget to relax! Relaxing periodically in a small amount of time is stepping away from what is causing our stress levels to rise, a little relaxation can give us the energy we need to handle our workload or problems that we are facing. On the bright side, stress isn’t all bad! A certain amount of stress is also essential to deal with difficult circumstances and situations in our everyday lives. However, if we hold on in a state of high stress for too long, it can be damaging to our health.
Relaxation is very essential, as it helps us relieve our stress from a hard day's work. There is no doubt that our modern lifestyle can be stressful. Between family, social obligations, and work. It can be hard to make time for one's self but it’s important to find the right time to take a mini-vacation from reality.
Relaxing and taking a break can help keep us healthy, in both our body and mind, helping us to recover from the everyday stresses that life throws at us. Fortunately, no matter how busy we are, it’s simple to learn how to create time for chilling and also how to relax in a fun and enjoyable way as possible. When it comes to relaxation techniques, the easier the better! If we can find atleast a little time of our day for ourself, we can easily slip in a simple relaxation strategy. Here are some easy ways to help relax:
Breathe it out. Breathin exercises is one of the simplest relaxation technique, and can effectively calm our stressed-out body and mind anywhere at any time. Just sit or lie down in a quiet and safe place such as in a bed or a couch. Breathe in to a slow count of three, and then breathe out to the same slow count of three. We can also imagine good things while closing our eyes and breathing because it help give us a peace of mind.
Visualize our tranquility. Have you ever heard the statement “find your happy place”? Sit in a quiet and safe place and begin to think about a place in the world where you feel most calm. Close your eyes and visualize all the details linked to that place: the sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile feelings. For example, if you think of the beach, imagine calm waves, the sound of children playing in the sand, the taste of salty ocean air, and the feel of gritty sand. The more you get into your visualization, the more you can relax.
Write down our thoughts. Getting things off our mind by writing them down may help us relax. When we feel stressed, take a few minutes to write down some short notes about how we’re feeling or how our day is going. We can do this in a notebook or in an app in our smartphone. Don’t worry about being perfect or poetic or spelling everything correctly. Just focus on expressing to help release some of our stress.
Make a list. Making a list about what we are grateful for can help us feel relaxed. Some experts say that when we’re stressed, we tend to focus on the negative parts of life rather than the positivity. Thinking about the positive parts of life and writing them down may help to chill out. Remember, even small thingsand details matter.
Connect to nature. Spending a few minutes in nature when we feel stressed can help us relax. When we’re feeling stressed, take a step outside and go for a short stroll around the park, or simply sit in nature. But we don’t necessarily need to be in nature to feel its stress-reducing effects. We can just simply sit outside our houses, breathe the fresh air and shout out to the sky that everything will be alright.
Stress may be a universal part of daily lives, but that doesn’t mean we should let it get the best out of us. It is also our responsibility to take charge and control our stress by learning how to relax even in a simple but enjoyable way. I hope my advise helped you relieve your stress. Life is a cycle it has ups and downs but the most important thing to remember is that; all is well and everything will be fine.
We are going further far away from nature and so we are entering in further stressful life. We must take a break and move close to ourselves with natural things. The article is so nuce
