Remembering our loved ones
All Saints/Souls Day have passed by but still my wife and I were able to visit the graveyard of our first baby last Sunday. He died last March 27, 2019 because of miscarriage. Yes we admit, we were busy with our work that time like preparing our school forms and with the continuous school activities, my wife got stressed and overfatigue. We were able to visit her OB couple of days because spotting started to appear before she got her miscarriage but the OB did not advised her to take a bed rest.
Visiting the graveyard of our loved ones not just during All Souls Day is one of the traditions we continue to practice and preserved. We bring flowers and light candles in cemetery in loving memory and remembrance of our dear loved ones who passed away. Some offer prayers and even some bring foods and place them in the graveyard. Though they are dead already but it is a practice that even if they are not here on earth we still loved them and remember their life when they were alive. I thank God for giving us the time to visit our first baby. He was just 4 months old when we loss him. The baby was actually a boy as we confirmed his gender. Body parts were already formed and in shaped and I actually had a picture of him but for his sake i will just keep it personal. Anyway all things happened for a reason because God is always in control. After 6 months, my wife conceived again and our baby daughter is 4 months old now. God took people away but He will replace it also something special. Thanks to Him.

Sa panahon ngayon napakalaking bagay at isa sa mga nakaugalian at patuloy na ginagawa ng mga Pilipino ang pakikipagtulungan. Maliit man o malaking halaga ito ay nagbibigay ng tuwa at saya sa ating mga kababayan. Tulong tulong po tayo mga Pinoy at iwasan muna natin ang sisihan lalo na sa ating Pangulo o mga taong namumuno sa pamahalan. Ingat po tayong lahat.

May promo na naman po ang cebu pacific air sa halagang 99 pesos. Sale Period started last November 14 and today November 18 is the last day. The travel period will be next year from February 01 to May 31 2021. It is available for Philippine or local destinations but some selected international destinations are also on sale. When I checked their website yesterday, from 99 pesos base fare to 953 pesos total fare. Of course it includes the terminal fee, surchage and other fees. It includes free handcarry baggage with a maximum weight of 7 kg. This will help us Filipinos especially our financial resources are limited. Love Never Fails...
Yes I did, Yes I Do, Yes I Will Do...
Two years ago, it was a day filled of emotions especially love. It was a special day for me and my wife when we received our blessing and became officially and legally as husband and wife.
I was not in a serious relationship before because career and family were my priorities. I worked hard to earn for a living and sent part of my salary to my parents and younger sister who was studying college at that time. I knew it was the best thing that I can do as I pay it forward since our older brother helped me financially when I was in college. When he settled down and raised his own family, my parents didn’t have a permanent job at the same time, I helped my sister in her tuition, allowances and some personal expenses.
But when I reached at the age of 30, my mother kept on reminding me to settle down like having my own family. Deep inside my heart I am also longing to be a husband and a loving father to kids. I was working before as a call center agent and a banker before I became a teacher. When I worked in a bank, I pursued and enrolled for me to have units in Secondary Education. During my day offs, I had my self review sessions in preparation for the Licensure Examination for Teachers. Blessed I am that I passed the board exam in one take without much background in Education.
I decided then to resign and pursued my career in teaching year 2016. A year after, I got hired in my Alma Mater where I graduated as first honor in Elementary. It was the start of my career as a public teacher in Senior High School without knowing it was the start of my lovelife also. My wife was a junior high school teacher and her advisory classroom was just in front of my classroom.
We got closer because we became dance partners in our school activities and became Masters of Ceremonies in some school events. We were teased by our “barkadas”, the circle of friends of co-teaches in our school. She’s a single mom by the way and had broken relationship with his boyfriends. Honestly, it was the reason why I’m afraid to enter into a relationship with her because she had a son. Questions like Am i financially and emotionally secured to handle such relationship? Will my family accept her past? Am I ready to face those things knowingly I’m not in serious relationship before?
Anyway to make the story short, we were boyfriends and girlfriends for eight months and decided to get married. At first she insisted to get married by year 2018 because her sister scheduled to get married year 2019. I knew I love her too and wanted to have my own family so we both agreed then to have our wedding day November 17, 2018 - the day when we both said “Yes I do Father.”
It is a journey we both started and I am praying it is a journey that we will both end together as husband and wife. Love never fails indeed as long as we put God as the center of our relationship.

I am more encourage to write more posts because of upvoting my posts. It my first time to have an upvote of almost $2 in one single short post. Airline company like Cebu Pacific Air is doing their marketing strategy in order to let travelers book on their online site. They had their Pesos Fare Promo last November 11 or 11-11 Piso Fare. I was able to visit their website during that day and the sale is open for all destinations as long as their are promo slots seats on the travel day you wish to avail. Sale period is from November 11 to 13 only but if you missed to book on those days, I am sure they will open Piso Fare next month especially Christmas days. The travel period for their Piso sale will be next year from July 1 to October 31, 2021. You have ample time like more months for you to save and prepare for your travel. Cebu Pacific open the Piso Fare so that more travellers will have their adventures next year. It is a marketing strategy for them to have more customers especially their operation stopped for a month because of Covid 19.
The total amount that you need to pay for their online booking when I checked their site on that day was only 396 pesos or around $8 for a one way travel destination here in the places of our country. I did not check for the total cost for a travel destination outside the country because of the pandemic. Anyway, good for those who avail for their Piso Fare promos. We are all hoping pandemic will stop next year so we can start our travel adventure.

Isa ito sa mga paborito kong Christian Visayan Worship song na ang pamagat ay “Ikaw ang Kusog” or you are my strength in English.
The lyrics of the song imply that the Lord is the source of our strength, happiness and our refuge. Same with the bible verse in Psalms 46 that the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present in times of trouble. When problems or troubles come, no one can separate us from His love because it is incomparable. The chorus of the song tells us that even if how far heaven is, His love is for everyone. I will bow down at your feet, I will worship you for you are my God - the source of my strength and happiness..
Smiling Face
My wife and I are so grateful that we have a lovely daughter who smiles easily. Everytime we have a big smile on her, she smile to us in return. Being happy and thankful in every situation or circumstance is important. To ease the pain and have positive vibes amidst challenges, smile will make life easy. We have our own problems to handle but a happy heart will normally surpass the tests of life.
As a Filipino, it is important to have a smiling face. I know it is hard to be happy knowing that many Filipinos are affected right now because of the floods brought by the typhoon Ulysses, but a happy and a cheerful heart will help them on how they will handle and have positive outview in life. Some are hopeless because of what happened and even few loss their loved ones. But I hope and pray that God will provide all your needs. Please do not forget to be thankful that you are still alive and always be hopeful because the Lord will never leave you. Put that smile in your face, it might be an answer to someones prayer and problem.
Cleanliness is Next to Godliness
This is the classroom of my wife Grade 8-Carnation. Senior High building is under construction that is why I used to stay inside her classroom. Since modular classes started, students especially minors are not allowed to enter the school premises. They are going to answer their modules inside their respective places. Teachers and school personnels like school guards and admin assistants are the one who are present inside the school. We have our assigned areas daily that required us to clean daily. Students did these things before but now teachers are the one who make our school grounds and surroundings clean and beautiful.
Aside from printing and retrieving modules, cleaning our rooms and maintaining its cleanliness are also important. My wife and I helped each other to do our responsibilities as teachers. Sometimes, we spent our own money in buying resources just to make our classroom neat and clean. Even if there are no students but we make it sure that everything is properly arranged and still conducive to learning. This is a preparation in case personnels from district or division office will come and evaluate our school. It is better to get prepared and ready not just for appreciation but this is one of the protocols in order to prevent the spread of Covid 19.
Indeed it is true that cleanliness is next to Godliness. Being clean outside, reflects the inner beauty we possess as a person. Being clean will lead us to less sin because of our clean conscience and leading of the Holy Spirit who is at work in us. That is why it is important to be neat and clean at all times.
Tuloy ang Ligaya
Tuloy ang ligaya ng ilan sa ating mga kababayan sa gitna ng bagyong Ulysses na nagpadulot ng baha at malaking pinsala lalo na sa mga kabahayan malapit sa Marikina River at ilang lugar sa Rizal. Habang papalayo na ang bagyong Ulysses, matindi pa rin ang kinakaharap ng mga kababayan natin sa Cagayan dahil sa pagpapawala ng tubig galing sa Anggat Dam. Pero kahit may mga bagyo mang dumating, kitang kita sa mga larawan na ito na hindi hadlang ang bagyo para ipagpatuloy ang ligaya. Tulad na lang ng isang matandang babae na umiinom ng mainit na kape na nakaupo lang sa labas ng kanilang bahay na tila walang nangyayari.
Ang isang lalaki naman na hindi alintana ang lamig na may dala dalang dalawang bote ng red horse. Tuloy ang kanilang inuman ng mga kapitbahay o kaya ng kanyang mga kabarkada. Ang isang dalagitang babae naman ay nakuha pang mag swimming sa kalagitnaan ng baha na tila walang nangyari at hindi marumi ang tubig. Tunay ngang kayo ay mga Pilipino na nagpapakita ng matapang na katangian. Ika nga baha lang yan, tuloy pa rin ang ligaya only here in the Philippines. Keep safe pa rin po.

Winnie the Pooh
Tuwang tuwa ang aking anak na babae ng makita niya ang aking surpresang Winnie the Pooh na stuff toy na mas malaki pa sa kanya. Balik ko sanang surpresahin ang aking asawa sa darating na November 17 next week dahil ikalawaong taong wedding anniversary namin dahil paborito niya ang wininie the pooh na stuff toy.

Tuwang tuwa ang aking asawa at apat na buwang anak sa stuff toy. Gustong kargahin ng aking anak pero hindi pa puede dahil siya ay maliit pa lang. Nagpapasalamat ang aking asawa sa aking surpresa para sa anniversary namin. Kitang kita sa mga ngiti ng aking anak na siya ay masayang masaya sa winnit the pooh na stuff toy.
Modules？
When we delivered the modules to a certain barangay with my co-teacher, I captured this photo. I was so happy seeing parents even grandparents helping their children at homes studying their modules. They lived in a simple and ordinary house, my heart touched with grief and care knowing their situation. I want to help them or donate something like essential foods or basic necessities but not this time since I do not have enough.
I knew based on the picture that the grandmother wanted to learn also from the module. I do not know about her educational background but maybe she read the activities on the module and wanted to share her idea or learning to her granddaughter. They are a good example for others to follow. Students need their parents and grandparents right now because face to face learning is not allowed. Salute to them who are eager and willing to learn also, to recall and to share what they learned before. Hope others will follow on what they are doing.
Bagyong Ulysses
Alam naman natin na hindi pa nakakabangon ang karamihan sa ating mga kababayan lalo na sa BICOL REGION at Catanduanes dahil bagyong Rolly, ito na naman ang bagyong Ulysses. Napakasakit tingnan ang ating mga kababayan na nawalan ng mga tirahan, mga alagang hayop, mga taniman ang yong iba nawalan ng hanapbuhay. May mga lugar pa rin na lubog sa baha dahal sa nakaraang bagyo. Ngunit ngayon matinding pagsubok na naman ang kanilang kinakaharap. Nakataas ngayon sa signal number 3 ang mga lugar sa METRO Manila, Quezon at ilang lugar sa Bicol Region. Ang mga larawan na yan ay kuha sa kababayan natin na taga San Jose, Camarines Sur.
Ating ipanalangin na hihina na ang bagyo at iligtas ang ating mga kababayan. Nagpapasalamat din ako sa mga Local Government Units, NGOs, ibat ibang organisasyon, public at private sectors na patuloy na tumutulong sa ating mga kababayan. Bagyo lang yan, Pinoy tayo. Pamilya
Pamilya, isang salita pero napakagandang pakinggan. Isang salita na may halong lungkot at saya. Ako ay nagpapasalamat sa Panginoon dahil binigyan ako ng mga magulang na responsabli at mapagmahal at mga kapatid na mababait, masisipag at maunawain sa lahat. Kami ay laking mahirap, ang aking ama ay isang karpentero at minsan tricycle driver at ang aking ina naman ay nagtratrabaho noon bilang barangay treasurer sa aming barangay. Ika nga ang kahirapan ay hindi hadlang sa iyong mga pangarap para ikaw ay magkaroon ng magandang kinabukasan. Sa awa ng Panginoon at sipag ng aking mga magulang, kahit kaliwa at kanan utang noon ng aking mga magulang, kaming apat na magkakapatid ay mga propesyonal na ngayon. Ang aking nakakatandang kapatid ay isang opisyan na sundalo. Mabilis ang kanyang promosyon bilang opisyal dahil siya ay nagtapos sa Philippine Military Academy taong 2007. Ako naman ay isang licensed public teacher na nagtututro dito sa probinsya namin habang ang kasunod ko na babae ay isang English teacher sa Japan. Siya ay nakikipagsapalaran at nagtuturo doon ng mahigit dalawang taon. Ang nakakabatang kapatid namin na babae ay nagtratrabaho bilang isang teller ng banko sa Metrobank Manila.
Yan naman ang aking pamilya sa ngayon. Ikinasal kami ng aking asawa taong 2017 at siya ay isang public teacher din gaya ko. Siya ay single mom dati na may isang lalaking anak. Tinanggap ko siya at mahal namin ang isat isa. Ako ay ganap na naging isang tatay nitong taon. Ipinanganak ang aming anak na babae last July 02, 2020. Ako ay nagpapasalamat sa aking pamilya dahil karamay ko sila sa hirap at ginhawa. Kahit may mga problemang dumating, sa tulong ng Panginoon, alam kong makakaya namin ang lahat dahil nandyan ang aking pamilya.

Habang walang ginagawa at naghihintay ng oras para maligo, naisipan kong tingnan at balikan muli ang aking mga profile pictures na nasa Facebook account ko. Share ko lang ang mga picture na ito dito sa read cash community. Nakakamiss pala yong mga dati mong pictures dahil naaalala ko tuloy yong mga ginagawa ko dati tulad ng mg lugar na napuntahan ko, mga bonding moments namin ng mga kapatid ko, at mga koleksyon ko na mga libro.
Throwback Tuesday morning. Promise huwag kayong tatawa, yan yong unang facebook profile picture na inapload ko kasama ang aking kapatid na babae na nasa Japan na ngayon nagtuturo. 18 years old ako that time at nagtratrabaho pa ako dati bilang call center agent sa Alabang. Kuha yan ng nakakabatang kapatid namin at namamasyal kami sa MOA o Mall of Asia that time kasi summer vacation noon at pinaluwas namin galing probinsya ang aking mga kapatid na babae para makapunta ng Maynila. Blured pa yong picture dahil hindi pa malinaw camera ko sa cellphone that time.
Yan naman yong pinakamaraming likes at comments na profile pic ko sa facebook. May 363 likes at 56 comments lang naman hindi naman karamihan. Kuha yan sa isa sa mga lumang Katolikong Simbahan sa Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte during sa prenuptial namin ng aking asawa. Well known ang Dapitan kaya napili namin ang lugar dahil sa Dakak Beach Resort, Fantasy land at Rizal Shrine kung saan nagtago si Dr. Jose Rizal, ang ating pambansang bayani.
Siyempre yan yong latest na profile picture ko sa Facebook. Siya ang aming unang anak na babae ng aking asawa. Kuha yan noong siyay dalawang buwan pa lang ngayon 4 months old na ang baby namin. Nagpapasalamat talaga ako sa Panginoon dahil healthy ang aming baby. Ako ay tuwang tuwa na magkaroon na ng anak. Siya ang nagpapasaya ng buhay ko. Sa tuwing makikita ko na nakangiti ang aking baby, nawawala ang pagod ko sa trabaho.

Bible App
Today is November 10,2020 Tuesday here in the Philippines. I just want to share the bible verse of the day in my bible mobile application. It is in Hebrews 11：1 that says “Faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen.” This verse is so timely especially many people nowadays are hopeless like lossing their jobs even their loved ones are dying because of the pandemic of covid 19.
What I like about this app are their features like everytime you open the app for the verse of the day their are portions of it like a reflection question, bible verse, a short video from pastors or church elders that will share and testify about Gods word, the devotional portion for you to meditate and reflect more on the verse message with some illustrations and life testimonies, the prayer portion which is the prayer of the day and the verse of the day image wherein you can share the verse inage on your facebook account like what I did and add it on my story.
Indeed let us continue to have faith because it is confidence on what we hope for and assurance about we do not see. Let us have faith because God loves always.
Module Distribution
It is Monday once again. It is our weekly schedule to distribute modules to our students who are residing in Mansabay Alto, Mansabay and Puntod, Lopez Jaena. Though it is tiring because their barangays are located far from our school but thanks God I have my own motorcycle for me to deliver their modules. I will only put their modules in one designated area like their barangay office for them to get those modules inside their respective barangay hall or office.
Modules are important for them to continue their learning despite of the pandemic. What we are doing now as teachers are sacrificial so that this School Year will not be a waste time for them. Distributing modules is an act of service to better serve our students who are the reason why teachers are hired and paid. Without them, we will not get paid also. This is just a challenge for us to embrace changes in our society. I know everything will come back to normal soon.
50th birthday
My uncle Larry Flores Honculada who is the brother of my mother was celebrating his 50th birthday last Saturday. He was so happy and thankful because of the surprised decoration and celebration. He's so thankful he reached the golden age and grateful to have his son who is now 18th years old and studying in college and his lovely daughter who is studying in grade 9 level. Though they are not in good terms with his wife but my family is praying for restoration of their narriage. We trusted God that He will save their marriage for the sake of their children. It is so important that when they will see and feel the love of their parents when they grow up.
Thankful for this celebration that God provided his needs. My uncles sisters and his brother contributed financially for the foods, desserts, drinks and cake for his 50th birthday. We gave God all the glory for all the blessings we received especially for his unending love and for the extension of our lives.

I am in tight budget right now because of the bills and other basic needs to pay. We need to save some of our salary for the milk and diaper of our baby. We still have outstanding loans to pay that is why our monthly salary is not enough to sustain us without doing some sideline work line online jobs.

My students
Ng dahil sa covid 19, kadalasan ng mga paaralan sa ating bansa ay walang face to face classes. Kaya napakatahimik ng aming silid aralan dahil walang mga mag-aaral. Tanging mga modules lang ang aming kasama sa loob ng aming classroom. Share ko lang yong ibang mga pictures namin ng aking mga studyante sa nakalipas ng dalawang taon. Nakakamiss ang mga tawanan, asaran, suyuan at aliwan ng aking mga studyante. Ang mga kapwa ko guro na lang ang naglilinis sa loob at labas ng aming paaralan. Pagkatapos namin mag print ng modules ay oras naman para mag correct o mag check ng mga answer sheet ng aming mga studyante. May ibang mag-aaral na taos pusong sinasagutan ang mga module at yong iba naman ay hindi tinatapos. Kahit wala ang aming mga mag-aaral, nagpapasalamat pa rin kami sa trabahong ibinigay nya sa amin. Kahit hindi kami frontliners, ang nga guro ay may malaking halaga pa rin sa ating lipunan.
Plantita/Plantito
Dahil sa Covid 19, karamihan sa mga kababaihan ay nasa bahay lang or yong iba nag wowork from home na lang. Para iwasan ang sakit na dala nang virus na ito, mas mabuting sa bahay na lang muna magtrabaho. Yong iba naman ay nawalan ng kanilang mga trabaho o nagsara ang kanilang mga negosyo. Marami talagang tao ang apektado dulo ng pandemyang ito.
Dahil nasa bahay ang karamihan ng mga nanay natin at tita, nakahiligan na nilang magtanim ng nga iba't ibang klase ng halaman sa kanilang mga bakuran. Isa na rin ito sa pinagkukunan ng extra income nila dahil marami na ang bumibili ng mga halaman para ilagay at pang decorate sa loob ng kanilang mga bahay. Masasabi kong certified plantita na rin ang akin nanay dahil sa mga koleksyon nito na mga halamang bulaklak at mga halamang may iba't ibang kulay, hugis ng dahon at may mga maliit at malalaki na halaman. Nakakatulong ito ng malaki lalo na kapag maraming customers ang aking ina.

2nd Wedding Anniversary
Time flies fast and as the sun continues to shine each day, our love for each other as husband and wife grows stronger. Yes, it is our 2nd wedding anniversary next week November 17. We got married last November 17, 2018. We were in a relationship for just 8 months as girlfriend and boyfriend.
We are both public secondary teacher in the same school. Yes different challenges and problems we encountered along the way like attitude problems, financial, jealousy, even our religion differences. The most unforgettable experience we had was when she got a miscarriage for our first baby boy last March 27, 2019. We were excited to have our first baby that time but because of work pressure and stress, we never realized it affected to the health condition of our baby.
Anyway, after 6 months of her miscarriage, God blessed us again with another baby. This time it is a baby girl who is now on her 4months. I am always thankful for our relationship. I know it is not easy but by the love and grace of God, we were able to surpass and we will able to overcome those problems that will come along the way. Trust, love, communication, respect and understanding with each other's differences are important factors in our relationship. I am excited to celebrate that special day next week with my wife and pretty daughter Zineph.
Collage Project
I am a Senior High School Teacher and I am teaching Grade 12 students for this school year. I am currently handling Understanding Culture, Society and Politics for this semester. We are not having face to face classes because of covid 19 but learning must keep on going as we adapt modular learning. We are sending modules to our students to those residing in far flung barangays whils for those students living nearby, their parents who are not more than 60 years old are the one who will get the modules in our school.
I just want to share some of their collage outputs as part of their activities in the first module. The topic is all about changes highlighting social, cultural and political changes we are facing recently. I know social changes are the most evident changes we are experiencing now because of the pandemic. These social changes are maintaining social distancing, wearing of face mask and face shield especially in public places, no social gathering for big ocassions, the enhanced and general community quarantine and more. There are also cultural and political changes that are also happening in our country.
We must not fear to embrace changes. Yes change is one of the permanent thing in this world. We must not afraid to face those changes because our God is alive and He is in control. He will never leave us no matter what.
I am thankful for their collage output. Some exerted their efforts and resources to submit quality and presentable collage while some did not. Anyway, you will not incur good grades if you will not extend your effort and if you will not do your best. Thanks to those students who did their best for this activity.
RTWs business
Before the pandemic of Covid 19, my siblings and I were having an RTW or Ready to Wear business for high school students. Our stall is just besides the senior high school building of Sibugon Integrated School. It is a strategic place for high school students. We used to display and sell different kinds of Tshirts, blouses, crop tops, sexy shorts, denims, polo shirts, jogger and long pants to the students. We also sell even ubderswears, socks and handkerchiefs.
But because of the pandemic since last March 16, 2020 when national government declared suspension of classes, we were not able to earn income like before. We were tight on our budget this time because one of the sources of our income is our RTWs business. For the sake of our family and to the community as a whole, abiding on the laws and mandate of the government is important. Safety and for the protection of everyone, it is important to just stay at home. Even if we are not earning like before but thanks God we are still alive and secure. Our RTws will soon be displayed after this pandemic. Praying that this pandemic will stop and come to an end.
Church Project
This is our church in Western Poblacion, Lopez Jaena, Misamis Occidental. The name of our church is Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. More or less 50 members are joining our Divine Service every Sunday. Most of the members are low income earners that is why I am asking for your support like your prayer or any financial support no matter how small it is so that our church building will accomplish this year.
This is the picture inside of our church. The ceiling, window glass, tiles and finishing of the walls are not yet finish. There are still bars on the ceiling and we are only using pastic chairs as of the moment. I know God is the owner of the universe and I believe He will use people especially those generous ones to support us in our church building.
Our annual church thanksgiving will happen this december 05, 2020. It is an annual celebration to give thanks to God for all the blessings we received throughout the year. Blessings include problems or any challenges we encountered, suffering that we endured, circumstances that we passed and prayers that were answered. I know there are countless of blessings we experienced if we count them one by one. I am thanking you in advancw for any support that you can willingly share for our church. God will bless you more and more.
