In life, simplicity matters at all. We sometimes ignore the value and beauty of being simple. There are times we pretend to have much or look prettier on the outside, but the truth is we are trying to hide or conceal something. Like what Filipinos commonly do as part of our traditions, even if we cannot afford or we do not have enough, we try to do our best by asking for financial help from someone or borrowing funds from financial institutions just for us to celebrate birthdays, fiestas and other special occasions.
Sometimes, we want to make our life complicated. When everything is okay and goes well, when problems are not present, we made some rush and wrong decisions in life. We failed to appreciate and give thanks when life is simple. We are the ones who make our lives complicated. It might be we don’t ask wisdom from God or we failed to listen and follow the advice from our family. True, life is really simple as what the image shows but we insist on making it complicated. But do not worry my friend, this is not final. God knows our situation no matter how hard or complicated it is. Just trust Him and have faith.
