My father is a farmer until the age of 65. This is the way of income on which he supports us for a day to day living. I admired my father's perseverance and delegence atitude towards us his family. And just by farming, he manage us to send to schools until we finished college. That how great our father is.

How farmers starts to grow their farms?

• They start it by getting a supplied water from an erregations to let the farmland be moistened so it will easy to dig up. Today, there is a lot type of tractors that they using now to make the works fast and easy as well. It will takes 2 to 3 times this farmland to dig until the soil will form into a mud soil. Let that farmland watered and flattened until the seeds are ready to plant.

• Preparing for the rice seeds well consumed a day for soaking the rice ( palay) overnight in the water . The next is a 2 to 3 days permutation until the seeds sprouted.

• Seeds ready to spread. Spreading is one of the cheapest way to plant those seeds. Because it will only needs 1 or 2 person to do this spreading process depends on how wide is the area of the rice field.

• After two weeks of spreading the seeds, you can see two or three leaves already coming out from the field and you can noticed the transformation of the field color into green. It's a time to apply fertilizer to make it grow faster and boost the stability condition of rice plants.

• Mostly it need to apply pesticide. Because pest they stayed in the young leaves of the plants and started to create damage that will cause plants not to grow healthy.

• After one and a half months from starts of seedings, you can see the condition of the rice plants now. Fully green color leaves is means a healthy plants. Yellow green will determine a weak condition of the plants And need more fertilizers for the second time.

• Until the age of 60 to 80 days from planting. You can noticed the beating of fruits until it will change the leaves color into yellowish. By that such time you have to consider the cleaning of the aisle and pile path because farm rats will stay there most of the time to eat that rice fruits if you left your pile path uncleaned from unnecessary grass.

• Now it reached the harvest time. Rice harvester is now popular to used. Aside from it will boost your harvested quantity, it harvest 10x more faster from the previous way which harvested by people. And that is how the rice that we are eating being produced by the farmers.

Bottom lines..

Being a farmer will takes a lot of patience and time just to produced a products, the rice.

Can you imagine how the farmers survived their life feeding their families for 3 months? Lending money to some investors for a barter of harvested products. That is the way how farmers survived within the months of waiting until the time of harvesting .

Will.. lucky those farmers that already had a financier like their children who can supports everything they need for their farms. They will suffer if their crops gets loss or only harvested a small quantity.

Being a farmer will takes a lot of courage to face different consequences the time you are waiting until the harvest days has done.
