Your Sister or your Friend

Why bother celebrating Christmas, New Year

Birthdays and whatever need celebrating there is.

Why bother?

Why?

You should have a care my friend

Your lover, father, mother, brother, sister, and friends care.

That you celebrate their lives

Honoring their existence with happy thoughts

Rejoicing in the lives they lived together with you.

So celebrate all Holidays there is

That have their imprints, their essence

Their joys and their smiles.
