September 2022, the Word of the month "Gratitude"
Good day, guys!
Lately, I've been listening to podcasts and stumbled upon the word Gratitude. I guess that is something that I would like to add to my life, being thankful for everything that's happening to me right now. I've been complaining so much lately and haven't been seeing all the blessings that I have. Now I just have to train my mind to be grateful for everything that I have.
Here's how my day went, I slept at the usual time but I kept on waking up and had spontaneous dreams in between. I even had a dream about work, which kinda sucked hahaha. Though sometimes when I wake up I worry about my roommate because I stay on top of the bunk bed so I'm not sure if my movement wakes my roommate up.
Woke up at an earlier time and I decided to catch the 9:16 bus because the last week I took the 9:01 bus and I was too early. I went to the bus stop and only had to wait for a few minutes. I'm glad that I was able to get a seat. I'm actually shocked that I wasn't as sleepy on the ride and the trip felt shorter than usual. Got to the metro station and took the train to the next station. While I was going to the next metro station, I took a snap of the skyway, I remember I crossed that before to go to the other side coming from work because the road where the buses usually pass was under construction.
I got to the metro station and I noticed that they still haven't fixed one of their screens. That error has been there since yesterday. This is usually the first thing that I look at whenever I arrive at the station to know what time the bus leaves going to my workplace. Got to the bus and that's when I listened to the podcast and that's when I learned about GRATITUDE. I got to work 5 minutes before timing in and then went to the pantry just to refill my jug. I thought that my first patient was at 10:30 but it was 10:45 while waiting I was able to speak to one of my old patients.
My first patient finally came and I was surprised that she seemed more different and positive, I'm glad that she got her priorities figured out already, and I wish her all the best in life. My next patient was late by 15 minutes, She's a patient who travels from Abu Dhabi just to get treated, she really has a loving husband who would sacrifice everything just for her, and the funny thing is that we have the same name. I was expecting my next patient but he never came instead, one of the receptionists called me to treat one patient til 1 o clock. I treated him, and at the end of the treatment, I came to know that he was the workmate of some of the patients who I used to treat.
My 1 o clock patient arrived and it was my first time treating him, he was from France, and I couldn't speak with him too much. After treatment, I was supposed to get one of my patients outside but when I called her name, the friend told me that another therapist got her. That's the first ever a time that happened. Though, I'm thankful also because I got to rest. She then went to my room and said sorry but I really didn't mind and I just had to finish her off because another patient of hers was waiting.
When I was treating her, we really had a nice talk though it was short. Her practice is leaving work at work, so as soon as she steps out of the office she doesn't think of work anymore, she told me to practice that. While waiting for my next patient, I spoke with one of my colleagues and he told me that he was about to leave already. Ever since I joined my company I've seen a lot of people leave which is kinda sad. I then treated my last patient before eating my lunch.
After lunch, the very first patient didn't show up so I got some more rest. I was able to practice my gratefulness because I was able to rest. My second patient was early because the last time she was late. It was really nice speaking with her and she was telling me things about Long Distance Relationships. She told me that it's always going to be your choice on how you handle things. Then 2 more patients came and we were just reminiscing the good old days. I was able to finish earlier than usual, but I had to get ready because one of the receptionists invited me to celebrate the Birthday of one of her flatmates who became my patient before. I had to wait for the other receptionist and her boyfriend, she told me that she'd pick me up at 7:30 but I was there til around 8:00, thankfully it wasn't hot, and I was scared that I'd be too sweaty. We had to pass by for cake before going there.
When we got there, they were so hospitable and they were giving us plates so that we could eat already. There was a lot of food and it was delicious. Though there's one particular item that made me go back 3 times and it's the cheesecake, I really loved the taste of it. It was a fun party got to catch up. They were asking, what I wanted to bring home and I said nothing I was surprised that they wrapped me some food. Some of my colleagues had to leave and I went with them and they dropped me at the metro station before they headed home. I was really thankful for that.
Coming from the ocean side, the metro station is really quiet but it's a different story when you are waiting for a bus. When our bus was approaching there was a flood of people and I was lucky to be near the door so I had to shove my way through to sit. When I arrived at my destination I noticed that there were loud noises and my flatmates said that it was Pakistan winning versus India in cricket.
I was just resting and using my laptop and composing most of the night, I also got to speak with my girlfriend for a while.

Last Sunday of the Month of August 2022
**Good day, guys!**
Every time I go to work, I question myself, do I love what I'm doing? Sure it could be fun to be meeting new people to build some networks and learn from patients, but sometimes it could be so draining especially when you just listen to problems all day long. As each day passes by I've been reflecting that my life is revolving around work already. Just imagine my commute takes around 2 hours a day + staying 9 hours a day in the clinic and doing that 6 times a week. But I guess right now, I should just be patient and be thankful that I have a job. Though I have to look for that work-life balance, what kinda sucks about this place is that places seem so far and you need to have a means of transportation to go to places.
The day before I was invited to go to the flat where I used to stay because they cooked some Batchoy. It tasted really delicious but what made me feel so excited was their new dog. They just got it 3 days ago and her name is Luna. She's just 11 months old but she's really big. The great part is she's potty trained. She had so much energy and was just playing the whole time. Being with her just made me miss my pets back home. I just miss those days when my pets are my outlet for stress and they would normally boost my mood.
I slept earlier than usual because my head was hurting. I kinda woke up when one of my flatmates in the other partition came from work, I don't know there are times when I can be sensitive to sound but I usually fall asleep to wait for my alarm. I finally woke up and got ready. I was just taking my time. I left at 9:01 thinking that I might be late for work because the bus route is different. Whenever I cross this street it reminds me of the time when a bird pooped on me which is the most unexpected place.
I got to the metro station and took a train to the next station. As soon as I got to the station there was a bus going to my workplace so I just rode it. I arrived at 10 in the morning, and I was early because my shift starts at 10:30. I'm going to try to leave using the 9:16 bus the next time and see what time I'll arrive.
My first patient was late by 2 minutes but it was really fun talking with her, to be honest, she couldn't stop talking and I didn't know how to end our session. Though we just extended for around 10 minutes and I had no next patient. When I was checking my schedule I was shocked that my patients from 11:30 to 2 pm canceled. That was around 3 patients. At around 1:45 the receptionists called me because the doctor was going to give me a patient. I had a patient at 2 o clock so I just did only a few things with that patient. My 2 o clock patient is really consistent but she said that she wanted her next session at an earlier time because she felt really lazy but the husband pushed her to go. It's really nice asking for some insights regarding Abu Dhabi because that's where she stays and she travels to Dubai just for treatment.
I then ate lunch and one of my colleagues made salad and shared me so I just stuffed myself up. I even ate cake yesterday. My lunch break was finished and I immediately went up to treat my patient. I had to get one device from my colleague and she said that the day was really busy and I said not for me, I actually regretted saying that as my day went on. Two patients were waiting for me and they were a couple, The wife has been my patient, and it was my first time treating the husband. Listening to their stories and their point of view made me learn things. My next patient was a new one and it was my first treating him, It was really cool to meet him because he works in a forex company, finally spoke to someone who knows about cryptocurrency. The first time he encountered bitcoin was in 2011, and he didn't believe in it. Right now he's just dollar cost averaging. My next patient was late so I had to squeeze him in, I also had another patient at 7 but good thing he came a bit early. Though I really don't know why they book patients at 7. My timings are from 10:30 to 7:30 and we usually treat for 45 minutes. Kinda got frustrated but what can I do? I then took a bus, instead of going home I wanted to walk and drop by the mall. So I went to the mall and checked out their sale but I didn't find anything that I wanted. So I just went to the food court and tried the Fried chicken at Max's. I don't know if I was feeling down or not, but I didn't like the taste, it seemed so oily and it lacked taste. Though I liked the fries that came with it.
After eating, I went to one of the bus stops and I was really lucky because as soon as I got to the bus stop, my bus came. I was able to get a seat. The only problem was in the middle of the ride, there were new passengers who were behind me and were speaking loudly to each other. I was already using earbuds and it was still penetrating, I noticed that even some of the passengers were even looking at them because of how loud they were. I wanted to tell them to shut up but I didn't have the energy. Until the last bus stop where I had to go down, they wouldn't stop talking loudly to each other. They just don't respect the other people around them. I got off the bus and I decided to walk around. As soon as I entered our flat they were having a party/dinner thing but after saying hello, I just went straight to the room and stayed inside. I don't know why I just didn't like to interact with other people today. I just felt so drained and I wanted my "Me time".

A Long and Tiring Day
**Good day, guys!**
Ever since I started working in the UAE, I noticed that time just flies so fast and it feels like I haven't done as much for my age, those are the thoughts that have been lingering in my head........
I try my best to make write every week so I could look back on my journey and what I've gone through. This is the reason why I'm motivated to write.
Here's how my day went, I slept earlier than usual but I had to wake up early because my colleague told me to come at 9 for the photo shoot. I woke up at around 7 and got ready, I was able to catch the 7:45 bus and got a seat. I was really sleepy during the whole ride but I was able to manage to stay awake, don't want to get fined. I noticed that the bus ride was a bit faster because the bus driver was skipping the stops because our bus was really full. I was taking some photos just to keep myself awake. I really can't imagine being a delivery guy and using a motorcycle as a mode of transport here in Dubai, especially during the summer. You must be dying from the heat while you're going to deliver something, I heard some stories from some of my colleagues that some drivers even pass out because of the heat.
Got to the metro station and I decided to use the other route where I pass by two metro stations. I did that because I remembered the last time I had duty that started at 9, I went down to the next station only to find out that the next bus leaves at 8:55 so I rushed to the next station which also has another bus that goes there, but I don't usually use this route because it takes longer, and was able to catch the bus to make it before 9. So the distance of that station just takes 1 minute and 12 seconds, I don't really know why I timed this haha. I was just taking my time because the bus leaves at 8:35. The one thing that I love about that place is the waiting area that's airconditioned and it's really convenient because the bus stops in front, unlike the other metro where you have to walk a bit just to go to the bus. I rode the bus as soon as I arrived, and I noticed that this route takes longer because of all the traffic lights.
I reached my workplace and I was wondering where was everyone. It's like I sacrificed waking up early and no one was there. Thankfully they arrived after 10 minutes. I thought we would all start early for the photo shoot, though it took time with my other colleagues. I also had to start 2 patients of our doctor. I was just waiting and my turn came up at around 10:20 am. In my head, I was like, What the hell? I should have just gone here at 10:30 because that's really my schedule. I came in an hour and 30 minutes early. I wasn't able to rest as much as I can. But what's done is done, I had to remove that negativity or it might destroy the day of my patients.
My first patient was late by 15 minutes, I haven't seen him for a long time and he said that he felt good already. My second patient was also another patient who I didn't see for a long time, and we had a good conversation about life, she was recommending me to look for places that offer citizenship. She admitted to me that she was depressed when she started here but she went through therapy, which was a good thing because she recovered. The problem with some people especially in the country where I come from is that they stigmatize therapy wherein if you're going through therapy they think that you are crazy, which is a stupid way of thinking.
My third patient came and I haven't seen her for a long time, she said to me that her partner got sick for 2 weeks but I'm glad that he recovered already. I'm still surprised that day come all the way from Abu Dhabi to Dubai just to get treated. After treating her, they called me again to take some more photos with the model, and after that my next patient came. I had to make sure that he was my patient because there was a familiar patient who I treated outside also waiting. I did that because I switched up my patients with another colleague the day before. After the treatment, my last patient before I took my break came. I was treating the husband and we were talking about their future plans because they've been staying here for a long time, they said that they are processing their papers for Australia, and they are doing it for their children's future.
After the treatment, I took my break and ate my lunch, I usually speak with our accountant and she offered me some biscuits which were citrusy. After my break, went inside and had to finish most of my notes. I also helped the doctor with one patient and most of the time I was speaking with other colleagues. I really wished that my 6 pm patient would reschedule earlier but the reception said that their friends getting treated at the same time, which kinda sucked because my plan to leave early was destroyed. One of our colleague's patients gave her pizza and she shared it with us. I was speaking with one of my colleagues and I noticed the time which was past 6 pm already, I thought that our patients wouldn't come but they came around 6:20. We had no choice but to treat them.
Thankfully, my colleague offered me a ride to go the metro station so I just accepted it. That couple is really kind and I've been riding with them from time to time. They usually bring me to the nearest station which is Equiti, this is where I usually ride my bus every morning. I took the metro to go back to the Mall of the Emirates.
I was craving some nuggets from McDonald's and I was wondering how different they would be from the Nuggets from the Philippines. It actually tasted different, for some reason, the nuggets from the Philippines are crispier and more flavorful. And I also like our BBQ sauce better. Though I enjoyed my meal. After eating I went to the grocery and bought some stuff. I decided to go to the bus stop to go home. I was rushing to go there and as soon as I got there, I thought that the bus left already. I waited for around 5 minutes and I didn't like the feeling of the humidity because I started sweating.
The bus came and I really felt so sleepy during the ride. I think I took a nap and I noticed that on one of the stops it was taking really long. I removed my earphones and saw that there was an RTA officer checking all the nol cards. I immediately woke up because there was a chance that they would fine me for sleeping on public transportation. He was able to catch 6 people who were not able to tap their nol cards.
I finally got home after a long journey. I arrived at around 9:27, ate some yogurt and my friend offered me some beef jerky and sweets from South Africa. It tasted delicious. After that just did a bit of chores and spoke with my girlfriend.
I'm really lucky to have friends here in Dubai, I wouldn't know what would be my mental state without them.

Sandstorm Sunday
**Good day, guys!**
To start the Sunday, I was invited to a party the night before. We waited for it to hit 12:00 to greet the celebrant with a Happy Birthday. It was a fun night socializing with other people.
I got home and prepped before sleeping, it was actually hot so I had a difficult time falling asleep. I slept past 2 am already.
I got up at around 8 in the morning to get ready to catch the bus. As I went out I was shocked by the weather, because it was really hazy. At first, I thought that it was really foggy which made me think and I figured that it was a sandstorm. Kinda glad that it was blocking the suns really hot rays, but the environment felt hot. I waited at the bus stop and was lucky to get a seat. I was reflecting during my whole ride.
Got to the metro station to take the train. While I was riding the train I was just looking through the window and as you can see the visibility was really poor. As soon as I reached the next station, the bus was already there, I was thinking if I wanted to delay myself. But I decided to take that bus and go to work. I arrived 30 minutes earlier than usual. So I was just there in my room, checking on my patients for the day.
My first patients were a couple. I haven't seen them for around 2 months, it was really nice chatting with them, though I was shocked by the weight loss of the husband. He got a bit skinny, I was asking him some questions regarding his eating habits and what has been doing, and he said that everything has been normal. I told him if ever it persist, I told him to get a general check-up just to make sure. Then my next patient canceled on me, I was looking for something to do and our podiatrist was asking why his desktop was beeping. I was looking on the way on how to fix it and I just had to open it and reinsert the ram and it worked.
I then treated a patient, I'm really happy with his progress because his pain levels decreased and he could walk better already. He is also starting to lift again which is a good thing. After treating that patient, 2 more patients canceled. I then took my lunch break and I was just speaking with my colleagues.
After lunch, I saw a patient of mine and her daughter, and we were just speaking until one of my patients came. This patient's case was really rare because he has pain in his tail bone whenever he sits. Though it was really fun speaking with him and he was telling me how he got married and about their culture. It was nice learning from him. My next patient canceled again.
My last patient was late so I only treated her for 30 minutes and it was also cool speaking with her. So I decided to carpool with my other workmates but the one who had the car had to do a bit of errand for the clinic. We ended up leaving around 8:40 pm. My patience got tested but at least I was able to speak with my other colleagues. But I felt really tired. I'm just thankful that someone would drop me off with this crappy weather. When He brought us to the metro, I'm glad that I only had to wait for a while before getting a bus ride.
I then went home and my classmate told me that my old flatmates were inviting us to eat at their place. We then went there and ate some La Paz Batchoy and it was really delicious. made me reminisce about the days when I used to stay there. I actually miss those days haha. I'm really grateful for the meal. Until the time I went home, the dust storm is still thick, I hope that it will subside tomorrow, gotta do some laundry.

Starting the Month Right
Good day guys!
How's the first week of the month for you guys? Hope everything went well with you.
I actually had fun because I got out of my routine. One of my uncles from the states visited and we were able to bond. I've been thinking about our encounter and it was my first time conversing with him. It was really fun and he treated me to lunch and a snack. I was able to do this because they gave me an offset for a day. On Saturday I was able to attend mass, something that I haven't done for a long time. It just felt great being able to attend.
Though, here's how my Sunday went, I slept later than usual and I was able to speak with my girlfriend. I woke up early and started getting ready for work. I was debating on what time should I leave and I ended up leaving earlier than usual. It kinda sucked because I had to wait for the bus because it didn't come on time, and it was really full. I had to shove myself inside and go to the back, so I could get a seat if ever someone leaves. The bus was delayed because some people were forcing themselves in and the doors would not close. Thankfully during the next stop, I was able to sit. for the whole trip. Got to the metro station and took the train to the next metro station. When I got down I had to wait for around 10 minutes before the bus arrives. I usually look at the TV to see when it will arrive and I usually leave the chair when it says 3 minutes. As soon as I left it, I saw the bus passing by and I rushed to the bus, thankfully I was able to get in and went to work. During my commute, I usually pray or listen to podcasts.
I got to work and my first 2 patients canceled on me, and all throughout the day I only treated 4 patients. There were a lot of cancelations. When it was time to go home, I was able to hitch a ride with one of my colleagues, they are so kind to bring me to the metro station. I then went to the Mall of Emirates, to eat dinner and get some groceries.
I just rode the bus that goes straight to our place and I was really sleepy during that ride, when I was about to go down, the RTA was there to check our cards. I then went home and had the energy to clean some stuff up. It was a really relaxing Sunday. I hope that you were able to spend it right also.

Reflecting on the Last Day of the Month of July 2022
Good day, guys!
This is how I ended the month of July,
I slept at around 1 in the morning, woke up at 5, and slept again. Finally woke up with my alarm at 6:45. I was in denial to go to work, so I stayed in bed for around 15 minutes, trying to get a nap and snoozing my alarms. Finally, woke up to get ready. For some reason, I wasn't in the mood today. Everything just feels so redundant in my life right now. Just waking up and going to work and as I reach home, I just feel so dead tired. There are times when some of the patients pass their energy to me making me so drained and with the combination of the hot weather and commute that's just a killer. I've been thinking about my life lately, and I think my job is killing me slowly. Imagine working for 48 hours a week plus a one-hour break, I stay at our clinic for 54 hours that's excluding the travel time. I just feel like I don't have a work-life balance anymore, compared to where I previously worked.
So during my trip to work, I had to take the normal bus going to the metro station, as usual, it was really packed, but I was able to get a seat. Went to the metro station and instead of going down to the next stop, I went to the one after that because I learned that there are only a few buses in the first hours of Sunday which kinda sucks.
I was surprised by this bus station because they had restrooms and an airconditioned lounge wherein women and men are separated, I stayed in the lounge while waiting for the bus to come.
As I rode the bus, I was really sleepy. I had to fight it because I don't want to wake up to a place that I don't know. While I was walking to my clinic, I was doing my best to pass through the shadows so I won't get hit by the blazing sun. As I got to the clinic, I was getting ready and then I saw that I had no patients til 10:45. While waiting for the patients to come, I was just finishing all the documentation that I had to do.
My first patient came earlier than usual so I treated her, This was going to be her last treatment because she is headed to the US. I'm really happy for her that she didn't take really long and it's also inspiring me to go and search also.
I was expecting my next patient to come and I saw that he canceled, so while waiting I was just speaking with my other colleague. It was really nice hearing about his insights where he used to work. Then suddenly my patient came.
That patient was the same patient who gave me food last week, I told her that it tasted really delicious. I'm still amazed that she travels really far just to go here and get treated. It's always fun to treat her and she said that her pain is becoming less. My next patient came, he's been my patient for quite a long period of time. But I'm glad that his body is starting to adapt and becoming stronger.
I was supposed to have my lunch break but one of the patients of my colleagues was late so I had to treat him. So my break was cut short by 30 minutes. As soon as I took my break and went to the pantry, I was surprised because there was pizza coming from the patient of a different department. I rushed my lunch thinking that my 4 pm patient would come.
My patient canceled again, I thought my last patient would cancel on me but he was just late. We were talking and he was telling me that it's always going to be your choice to have a work-life balance. Though I told him it depends on your schedule because with one day off you could only do so much, especially when you have to do your household chores.
I got out earlier and the sun was still brightly shining, which I liked because I usually go home at 7:30 and it's already dark. I went to the bus stop and I had to wait for around 15 minutes before riding the bus. I chose to go to the mall and see their deals and eventually, I couldn't find anything that I wanted. because of this I just headed home. Took the metro and had to ride another bus which was really jam-packed. I was actually the first one to get in so I got a seat.
I went to explore the places nearby I got curious about one of the restaurants here. I ate dinner, then decided to go to the mall nearby to inquire about the gym. I actually miss working out already. I saw that 1 month is 150 AED or that's around 40 USD. Still thinking of it. I also went to another grocery just window shopping but didn't buy anything again.
I walked home and as soon as I got to the stairs I saw this cat sleeping, I had to take a photo of it. Got home and my flatmate made some Chicken Alfredo, so I ate again. I was talking with my classmate and we went to the parking lot to see the car of our flatmate. Got home and we were just speaking with each other.
I'm really glad that I have friends here, it must be really crappy if you don't have people you could vent out to. I would feel so lonely if it wasn't for them. I'm looking forward to the next months to come.

A Really Tiring Day
**Good day, guys!**
Let me share with you about my day, I tried to sleep earlier than usual because I had to start at 9 in the morning.
As soon as I woke up, I got ready because I don't want to be left by the bus, I tried that yesterday and I had to wait for 10-15 minutes getting hit by the sun felt unpleasant plus, I don't want to be really sweaty before working.
I was able to get there in time and I was really surprised when I saw the bus because there were a lot of empty seats. My commute with the bus was fine, but we had to walk a bit further from the bus to the metro because they are fixing the road. I Road the train and went to the next metro, when I got there, I was really disappointed because the next bus that goes to our area was at 8:55 am and I arrived there around 8:20. I rushed to my application and checked the other metro station that has the other bus, and saw it departs at 8:35. So I rushed back and had to wait for 4 minutes for the next train. I was anxious if I would make it, if not I'd have to spend just to go to my workplace. I entered the train, thankfully the next station was just nearby. I was brisk walking and as soon as I got down the elevator, I saw the bus was still waiting and that was around 8:32. Thankfully I was able to ride it. I got to work at exactly 8:59.
I thought that my patients were there already, and they were not. They arrived 5 minutes after. They were a couple and I treated the husband first because the wife went to the anesthetics department. After treating him, I was waiting for the wife. The wife came out at around 10 and I had to treat her, I was also expecting another patient at around that time. Suddenly he came during treatment but I only had to do one treatment according to the doctor. So I was running up and down the stairs. I finished them both and then my 10:30 patient came and they were another couple. I treated the wife first and then the husband. It was just half of the day and I felt drained. Then one of my patients came early, instead of waiting I just got her, and I was surprised, she pulled out a container inside a bag and gave me slices of pies that had coconut filling. That was so kind of her to do that. It's fun talking to her because graduated from the same school. I'm still surprised that they come all the way from Abu Dhabi just to get treated because that's like a 2-hour drive.
My next patient came from another emirate called Sharjah. I know that commuting from there to our clinic is pretty far also. We were just talking about future plans and he told me how much he had spent on his wedding.
My next patient also came from a far place, he said it was an hour and forty-minute drive. Though after the treatment he said that it was all worth it.
I really like those kinds of patients who would put an effort just to help themselves. Imagine sacrificing a lot of hours just to become better.
After treating that patient I was expecting a new one but that person did not come. So I was just doing my notes while waiting for the lunch break. Went to eat lunch and it was so freaking hot in our pantry, I also ate something spicy which made me sweat. I also tasted the pies that my patient gave me and they tasted so delicious, I remember she said that she ordered that and it was homemade, and they didn't cheap out on their ingredients. One was coconut custard and the other one was coconut with ube.
After lunch, I received a message that my patient was waiting. I immediately went up and started her. She was from Pampanga, and it made me reminisce about my days when I was an intern because I had to stay there for four months. I really miss the food there, one of the best places to eat.
M next patient was late by 15 minutes and my last patient canceled so I was able to extend his time. We focused more on exercises. I was getting ready to leave and suddenly one of the receptionists asked me if I was free and I said yes, and they told me to start treating someone while he vlogs. To be honest, I was uncomfortable doing this and I was really tired, I stayed for an extra 30 minutes.
One of the receptionists was leaving so I went ahead with him because we would take the same bus. It's always fun talking to him because he sounds really mature even though we are the same age. I got down at Mall of the Emirates, and I was craving some grilled chicken and I was able to satisfy my craving. I was walking around and ended up going to the grocery. While I was there, it was so tempting to buy a lot of stuff because of their sale and deals. When I was about to go home, I didn't trust my instincts and went to take a bus there. While I was waiting, I was sweating really bad, I was expecting a bus to come in 10 minutes and it never came. I was waiting there from 8:42 to 9:21.I was just controlling myself instead of getting pissed. Before going home, I had to meet the father of one of our workmates because he lives in our area. He gave me something to give to his daughter.
Got home and spoke with my friends and flatmates. This was just literally a tiring day, I can't believe that I treat 11 patients plus got a crappy commute but it ended out great because I got to eat some popcorn and pizza. I'm also glad that I was able to finish this.

Half of the Month of July 2022
**Good day, guys!**
Oh Sunday, I wish that it was my rest day but I have no choice but to work. No work, no pay haha.
I slept earlier than usual because I had duty at 9 am and woke up at around 7 am to get ready, I slept around 2-3 am during that time and it was a pretty long day.I think I slept around 1-2 am but my work starts at 10:30.
I tried waking up earlier than usual because there are no feeder buses. I rode the 9:01 trip. I'm really lucky that I stood in front of the door so when it came we let the other passenger down and I immediately looked for a seat.
There were a lot of people again inside but I'm still thankful that I got a seat. So I was just trying to enjoy the ride. I got to the metro station earlier than usual, so I was taking my time. Rode the train to the next station and as soon as I got there, the tv wasn't showing the timings of the buses, kinda stressed me out because I had to watch the window looking at each bus that passes by, I stayed there for around 15 minutes before the bus came.
Got to work and I was expecting 2 patients at 10:30 when I got there, I was surprised that they canceled. My next patient was at around 12:45. I was just doing my notes waiting for my patient to come. When my first patient came, I had fun talking with him because he's a Gundam Enthusiast, he has a collection of 35. It made me remember my older brother's collection, I remember that I used to play with them when he was away, he'd get so pissed if he knew that I was playing with them. It was really nice speaking with my patient because we came from the same hometown, we were just reminiscing the good old Baguio days.
My second patient came and it was my first time treating him, my other colleague treated him already and I've been treating his son. There was one thing that I noticed about him and it's that he's really talkative, it was nice learning something from him but it drained me so much. The next patient came from Abu Dhabi and I was really surprised that she traveled around 2 hours just to get to our clinic. While treating her, we had something in common we graduated from the same University, though she was from another City. We were also reminiscing the good old days. I'm quite shocked because I don't meet as many people who are from Baguio or have a history with it. After treating her I took my break.
After my break, I thought I was going to have another patient but they canceled again. I've been getting a lot of cancellations lately which is kinda sad. So while waiting for the next patient I was just finishing some notes. Finally, some patients came and I treated them, they were both from South Africa, and I'm really glad to meet people who still have really nice values and they didn't adopt the lifestyle here.
I treated my last patient, and though I didn't treat as much I felt tired. My colleagues were waiting for me before we left. They usually bring us to the Metro Station. I was thinking if I should go to the mall, but it was late, so I ended up going home. Waiting for a bus was a pain, the first bus was really full so I had to wait for the second one. I was lucky again to be in front of the door but there was so much shoving and pushing. There was even somebody grabbing my bag, if I was really pissed I'd kick that person but I had to keep my head cool. If you look at the photo, the bus was jam-packed.
Before reaching home, I wanted to try a place called Curry Bites because I haven't eaten there for a very long time. When I ordered my food I kinda got disappointed, there were only a few pieces of chicken and it was mostly rice, I think it wasn't worth the cost.
After finishing it, I went to the grocery to get myself some yogurt, I just love eating yogurt. I then got home and spoke with some of my friends. I also had to refuse to take some shots from my other flatmates because I was traumatized the last time I did that.

A Love and Hate Relationship with Public Transportation
**Good day, guys!**
Now that I live in Dubai, I want to share the means of transportation with you. Here in Dubai, it is the Roads & Transport Authority(RTA) that heads all the public transportation which includes the metro, buses, taxis, marine transport, and trams.
The most important item that you should have to be able to use most of the public transportation is the nol card and this can be bought in the Metro Stations. You have to tap those cards on the reader as soon as you get inside and tap out when you leave. There's a silver nol card and a gold nol card, they both cost 25 AED and if you decide to purchase it you'll have a 19 AED e purse value. These nol cards are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase.
The difference between the silver and the gold nol card is that you're going to spend more with the gold nol card because the fees are double but using a gold card will give you the privilege to stay in the gold card cabin on the train which is exclusive. There's one feature that I really love and it's to personalize your nol card, though you need your Emirates ID for that.
The number one thing that you should be wary about are the fines when you use public transportation. There are a bunch of them and it's really going to be painful on your pocket
if ever you get caught. Here are some rules which I remember, you are not allowed to sleep, eat or drink inside the bus/train. If you're a man, you should know where to sit because there are seats that are designated only for women and it's usually in the front. If you get caught you will be fined 200 AED which is around 3000 PHP. But I noticed that most of the people who get fines are the ones who don't tap whenever they get inside public transportation.
If you want to travel around Dubai, you could use google maps and it would show you the route and steps to get there when using public transportation. It even shows the timings of the bus and metro. I use that app every day.
Experiences
I still remember my first experience being new here, our friend brought us to the Mall of the Emirates metro station and treated me a nol card. My first bus ride was also near there, and we came from the grocery. My friend sat with me at the back and she was explaining to me the things that I should do, there's a separate section for women on the bus and the men shouldn't try to sit there or else we'll get fined.
After learning the system, there came my love and hate relationship with public transportation here. The things that I really hate whenever I commute by bus are the timings, there were times when the bus comes super late and the worst time was when it ghosts you, wherein the monitor/applications says it's coming and it never comes(usually happens near our workplace). If you've been reading some of my posts, I really hate commuting on Sundays because there are no feeder buses. If there are no feeder buses, the buses are really jam-packed(look at the photo below), and if it's that packed, it seems that the aircon isn't working. It's always a race to get inside and find a seat. Traveling from bus to bus can also be a pain, especially during summer because you'll never know the delays and there are some bus stops that don't have shade, so you are going to melt with the heat of the sun.
I remember the days when I was new, I would be searching what the best route going to our workplace, I tried bus to bus, I also tried taking 3 buses and I finally settled with the route bus-metro-bus. It sounds like a hassle and yes I used to complain about it before but I just got used to it. My whole trip takes around an hour just to go to my workplace.
Here are some things that I really love about their transportation now is the convenience, you just have to use the metro and you could travel to other places around Dubai. I actually like traveling using the metro when it's not jam-packed, it's really nice looking through the window and seeing the different parts of Dubai. One thing I also love is the personalized nol card, I experienced losing my nol card, and I loaded it with a promo worth 3 months, I was so scared because that was worth around 330 AED(5k Php), I just bought a new one, headed to their app to cancel my previous one and transfer it to the new card, I got refunded the full amount after 4 days. I also get to save when using public transportation, unlike when you take a taxi the minimum is 12 AED which is around 180 PHP. I only end up spending 3 to 7.5 AED depending on the place where I have to go.
Metro Adventures
If you look closely, there's a symbol for women and children. They have cabins that are strictly for them only. I remember a story of one of my friends' friend, he told me that he stepped into that cabin and was fined for it. So I usually pay attention to where I stay.
Some of the Metro stations are unique, wherein the design inside looks different and has some historic pieces in them. I haven't gone to all the metro stations yet, I wonder when will I be able to haha.
I guess my favorite transportation here is the train because travel time is really fast compared to buses and you get to see a lot of things. I forgot to mention that there are 2 lines a green line(Etisalat to Creek) and a red line(Centrepoint to EXPO 2020). Here are some photos that I took while riding the train through the metro stations. I always have the view of the Burj Al Arab going to the second bus. I also pass by Lamborghini, which inspires me every day to keep on working to get one haha.

Starting the month of July 2022
**Good day Guys!**
I just wanted to share with you my experience during the weekend. Instead of ranting about public transport weekly, I wanted to tell you about some of my highlights of the day,
I actually had a difficult time sleeping because I just recently transferred. I was not still accustomed to the mattress and the place. I was just waking up like every hour. There was even a time when the bed was shaking, I thought it was my roommate just shaking it apparently it was an earthquake.
There's one thing that I'm not liking about the weather right now and it is the humidity, whenever I come out of the bus or metro, my glasses would automatically fog up.
I was really sleepy when I went to duty. My first patient was a Kabayan who is currently working for Tesla and I was so amazed by how he spoke, he sounded so knowledgeable. I assumed that he had a degree but as we were speaking with each other, he told me that he was just a high school graduate. I told him to continue doing his thing and learning, there are a lot of successful people who aren't degree holders. I really wish him the best, and I know that he'll go far in life.
My next patient was just ranting about her work to me, she told me that one of their colleagues is leaving soon(he was my next patient) and that the company won't even replace him, and because of that their workload is just piling up and she really seemed so stressed out and it seemed to aggravate the pain on her body. I told her to keep her options open and if there are other opportunities, take them. My next patient was really happy because he's finally leaving the company and the benefits sounded great.
Some of my patients canceled on me so I greeted one of our senior colleagues with a Happy Birthday. I was actually lucky that day because I forgot to bring my lunch and she said that she ordered pizza. When the pizza came, we all started eating. It was great timing because it was my lunch break, so I actually ate a lot of slices. After lunch, I had a patient, and it seemed like he was really tired, he was even snoring. The next patient was the assistant of my previous patient, and while treating him, one of the doctors called me because the cake from the company came, I started doing the treatment that doesn't need me inside and went to the other room. We took photos and ate cake. I continued treating patients until we got out around 7:30. Went to the grocery and bought some stuff to cook for my lunch for the following days.
I kinda miss the old place where I used to stay especially the family who took me in for 8 months. And I'm really grateful for making me feel like I'm part of their family.

The Last Sunday of June 2022
**Good day, guys!**
It's Sunday again and I wasn't able to post last week because I felt really crappy. That was one of the Sundays that I wouldn't forget because I felt nauseous the whole day. I even had to take a cab because I was going to be late if I took public transportation
Started my day by speaking with my girlfriend. But I looked really sleepy so she just told me to sleep.
I then woke up to my alarm, and I was so lazy to get up. But I had no choice, I won't get paid if I don't go to work haha. I got ready. And was looking at the schedule of the buses. I decided to leave earlier than usual. I usually walk to the bus stop before it but I just went to our normal bus stop. I had to pull out my umbrella because it was so hot and there was no shade. Imagine staying under the sun when it's 40 degrees Celsius. I was just looking towards the place where the bus usually passes so I could place myself near the entrance of the bus to get ahead of the others. Once the bus came I was already ready and we let the people go out before rushing inside. To my surprise, the bus wasn't as full as the other Sundays when I was commuting. I hope that it stays that way every Sunday.
I got to the metro station and I usually take the staircase going up the platform as a form of exercise. Waited for the train to come and rode to the next station. I had to wait quite a bit around 20 minutes before our bus came, thank God there are chairs and it's air-conditioned. Got on the bus and went to work. I got it 3 minutes before my starting time. When I went to my room, my 10:30 patient was there with his wife. I treat them both. They both really looked tired, especially the guy, they told me that they had just come home from a Vacation. They said they arrived at 4 am in the morning, which explained a lot. I really commend those patients who still go to their appointment in time and don't cancel. Our doctor sent me a patient after because I was vacant, it was really cool speaking with him because he was from Baguio City also and we were just reminiscing old times. In the middle of the day, I got a message in messenger that my younger brother will be having surgery because of a Hernia, I hope and pray that it will go smoothly. I got worried and I can't do anything because I'm far from them.
After treating him, I had to assist the doctor with a few patients so I was running up and down and from room to room. Then I had a lunch break and spoke with a few of my colleagues.
After my break, went back to my room and after a minute my patient came. For some reason I had a difficult time treating this patient because of his mindset, he was too negative. Everything that I suggest and tell him to do, he would look for an excuse not to do it. He was also the type who doesn't talk and open up about his problem. Hopefully, the next time he comes, everything will be better.
After treating him, my patient came in late by around 15 minutes. She rushed inside my room and
I treated her, she's about to go on vacation to her hometown because her friend is getting married and she'll continue her vacation in the US. I was supposed to have another patient after her but he came in earlier so the receptionist gave him to a different therapist. In between, I was just doing a bunch of paperwork. Then my last patient was also late by around 10 minutes. I treated him, he's actually conditioning himself for one camp in Thailand. I hope that he does great there and won't get injured. Before leaving our workplace, I was cleaning my room and made sure everything was turned off. I also assisted the doctor with one more patient. I waited for our marketing because I usually hitch a ride with her to go to the metro station because our PRO brings her there. It's more convenient than riding the bus and it's for free.
When I got the to metro station, I was scared because it was a Sunday, I haven't tried this route for a long time. I'm really lucky because I was able to see the bus when there were only a few people going inside so I rushed going inside and was able to secure a seat. If I was a minute later, I would have been standing. The bus was jam-packed, even the aisle was full.
When I got to our place, I decided to eat at a cafe nearby. I got a quarter of a charcoal-grilled chicken. This is usually my go-to place for dinner. I really love the taste, though I was really unlucky that I got the breast part today. I prefer the thigh and leg because it's juicier. After that, I took a short walk, Around 20 minutes. When I got home, my sweat was dripping because of the heat. After that, I ate yogurt and spoke with my flatmates. I went inside the room and took a nap while waiting for the message from my girlfriend before I could call her. I was able to call her and finish writing this. Beautiful and Sublime Sunday- Loving the end of the day
**Good day, guys!**
I usually write every Sunday so I could read back in the future about how my life went. There's one thing that I noticed when I started living here in the UAE, everything just seemed so redundant until you try to break it yourself. Everything revolves around work, I really envy the people who have 2 days off. I only have one rest day and it isn't enough. I usually do most of my chores during my off.
To start my day at 12 am I was just finishing a movie called Hustle. I then called my girlfriend and spoke with her. I was wondering where my roommate was because he still wasn't the til 2 am. I then slept.
When I woke up, my roommate wasn't still there, it was just weird cause this never happened. Got ready and left the house. I left at a later time and walked to the bus station before us. When I got onto the bus it was jam-packed where I had to squeeze myself inside, I stayed in the aisle. The hardest part was when we went to the next bus stop because there were a lot who went out and so many people wanted to get it in, I had to let all the people out before I secured a seat. This was one of the worse commutes that I've ever ridden during my Sunday commutes. The aircon wasn't strong and I was sweating because of it, it was overcrowded and the driver took longer than usual. My normal 30-minute trip became 40 minutes just going to the metro station. I then rode the train and went to the next station, I had to wait around 5 minutes before the bus arrived.'
I got to my workplace, fixed up and then my first patient at 10:30 arrived. He had surgery last May. After him, my next patient was a fellow kabayan and it was his last treatment. He said that he wanted to do maintenance every month. My next patient canceled on me but the receptionist told me to treat one patient for 30 minutes. Then my next patients were a couple, it's really nice to speak with them because I've been learning a lot. This couple has lived in different parts of the world. Then the next patent came and knocked on my door. My other colleague had to do something with her then I treated her after. I then ate my lunch and one of my colleagues offered me a slice of a mango that came from the mango tree that's growing at the back of our clinic.
After my lunch break, I went back inside and I was typing some of my notes because I wasn't able to do it because all the patients were back to back. I then asked the reception if my patient is coming and there was no answer. So I was just speaking with my other colleagues and one of my colleagues asked how do I drive an automatic car, and I said I just use one foot and she was just laughing because one of our colleagues was starting to drive and she uses both feet when driving an automatic car. It was cut short because one of my patients arrived.
I treat my patient and she told me about an application where I could find some good steals if ever I wanted to go around the UAE. I then treated 2 more patients. I rode the bus with one of my colleagues and she was talking about what happened during the day at her end and it was pretty funny.
I stayed at the bus and went to the bus station instead of using the metro because it was a Sunday and going will be a problem. As soon as I got to the bus station, I only had to wait for 5 minutes before the bus came which made me feel really lucky because, during the last week, it came after 30 minutes of waiting. Got home and then saw the dinner that my roommate prepared for his birthday. There was pancit, Lechon and Lechon manok. Everything just tasted delicious, you guys can check out his blog "WOK" this way regarding some of his recipes. After that I don't know why the right side of my head is hurting, I also got to speak with my girlfriend to end the day. May you guys have a great week ahead!

Meet the Family
**Good day, guys!**
Let me introduce to you the dynamic duo, Pierre the dog and Yoda the cat. To be honest I haven't seen them for a long time already but I get updates from my family back home.
We got Pierre last 2018 from a family friend who gave us our first dog named Custo. My brother adopted Yoda when he was still a small kitten and we had to nurse him. He became part of our lives last 2020. That's also the year that Custo died because of old age, we had him for 16 years.
We really thought that dogs and cats hate each other because Custo used to chase cats. We even thought that it wouldn't work out, but we tried exposing Yoda to Pierre when he was still small. Pierre used to bully him and just play around.
They eventually became best friends. It's really fun to watch them grow together, especially when they would play around. There are even moments where Pierre would eat the food of Yoda out of gluttony.
The best part of having these kinds of pets is whenever you come home, they are really excited to see you. For some reason they also became my stress relievers, just petting them would calm me down when I used to have a long day at work. To be honest, being far from them I truly miss them.
Let me also share with you some other pets that we had. My brother and cousins have tarantulas and I think they are taking care of 10+ species. Here's a photo of one of the most beautiful species that they are taking care of, this is a green bottle blue tarantula. I just love the color of the female GBB, the color is really unique.
These used to be my colony of ants. I had to release them because they became too much and I had to move to a different place. This colony started with one queen inside a test tube and when they populated I transferred them to an aquarium. If you look at the photo below, you can see the worker feeding the queen, this action is called trophallaxis.

Last Sunday of May 2022
**Good day, guys!**
Let me share with you about my day. I got to speak with my girlfriend. To be honest, LDR is really difficult, I just miss all the times when we were together and cherishing the moments. But I guess sometimes we just have to sacrifice. After the call spoke with my roommate and slept.
I woke up with my alarm and I was so lazy to get up. Imagine being the only one at the house who has to leave for work. I forced myself to get up because I knew the commute was going to be difficult. I left the house earlier than usual, I was thinking if I should walk to the bus stop before ours and in the end, I did. That walk took me around 5-10 minutes in the scorching heat. I waited for around 5 minutes under a tree to get some shade, before the bus arrived. My walk was worth it because someone left and I was able to take a seat, when we got to the bus stop where I usually ride, it was jam-packed. I was just watching the pushing and the shoving while the people were entering the bus. There came a point where the driver was kicking some of the people out already because the doors were not closing. It would actually take long in between stops especially when people were going down. Whenever I commute to work, my earphones are my best friend. After 20 stops, we reached our destination which was the metro station. I took the train to the next station and waited for the other bus to come. I thought that it was going to be delayed but it wasn't. So I was able to go to work earlier than usual
When I got to work, I got to talk with some of my colleagues. Then I went to my room and saw my schedule, I was expecting 10 patients to come in today and I said to myself that it was going to be a long day. My first 2 patients were a couple. It's really nice learning from them because they have lived in other parts of the world. I then asked if my next patient was coming and the patient canceled on me so I was able to rest.
While I was resting, I saw that I had no container for the paper clips that they use to attach my schedule and forms that I have to fill up so I just made this box out of the extra scraps of paper.
My next patient came at around 12:30. She seemed to be really stressed out because she had a deadline to finish this coming Tuesday. My next patient came in and he was really frustrated because he has been a victim of credit card fraud, I felt really bad for him. Imagine waking up in the morning and seeing something like this. After that patient, I had one more patient but he was a bit late. It was nice talking to him about life because he was also a Filipino. He told me to be grateful that we are Blessed with a Job right now.
I then took my break. While I was on my break one of my colleagues shared my and my other colleague's fruit salad and I was really thankful. Then my other colleague came and we were just talking about politics.
After my lunch break, I was supposed to have 4 more patients. My first patient canceled but one of our receptionists told me if I could start one of the patients. I started him and assisted our doctor afterward. My second patient came but he was late by around 10 minutes, we were just talking about basketball and the way he disciplines himself when it comes to food. After that, I asked my doctor if he needed help because my next patient didn't show up. He let me treat one of his patients. I was expecting my last patient and he didn't show up again. Sometimes it's kinda frustrating that patients cancel, it could have been another slot for another patient.
I was just doing some notes before leaving. At around 7 pm I left the clinic and when I went to the bus stop, I had to wait for around 20 minutes before the bus came.
I rode the bus, and I remembered that it was Sunday so I was hesitant to take the metro station because I knew that it would be a pain in the ass without the feeder bus. So I just stayed in the bus until the bus station. From the bus station, I decided to eat at one of the restaurants there. I usually eat there if I'm lazy to cook at home. I ordered a vegetable biryani and one of the waiters was so kind to me, he kept on refilling my yogurt sauce and even gave me free rice. I was really full after that meal.
I was looking at the schedule for the next bus and I thought that I had to wait for 20 minutes for it to come. But suddenly, the bus appeared out of the schedule after around 10 minutes and I was really thankful that I didn't have to wait for that long. I got down at our bus stop. I went through the parking lot going inside the building and as soon as I was about to enter, I heard a car crashing into something. I can't believe that someone backed up into somebody else's car in the parking lot, I really thought that the cars parked there were safe from damage. Then one of the security guards got their ID and plate number. I wanted to take a photo of it, but I think that it's prohibited so I didn't bother and just went inside.
I entered the house and the couple wasn't there my roommate was here and we were just talking and watching videos.

Summer is Coming
**Good day, guys!**
My Sunday started great, I got to play Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order the story was getting excited but I had to stop because I was getting sleepy.
I woke up earlier than my alarm again, I was getting ready for my 12 o clock schedule. I was getting ready slowly, then my doctor messaged me if I could come in earlier so I was rushing, I told him, I'll try my best to come in earlier depending on the transportation. I usually use google maps to check on the bus timing. I checked it and I was able to get ready in 30 minutes. I got down 5 minutes before it came and I went to hide under the shade of the trees while waiting for the bus. It actually came in late for around 10 minutes.
Luckily, I was able to get a seat at the back of the bus, I was wondering why it was empty wherein no one wanted to go there. The bus was very full until one bus stop wherein there were a lot of people who went out. I noticed that the driver was also driving faster than usual, which is actually a good thing. Imagine this, I have to go through 20 bus stops before reaching the Metro Station, unlike during the other days, when I only have to take 2 more bus stops. That's the thing that I hate when taking public transportation on Sundays.
In the middle of the ride, I noticed that it was getting hot. I noticed that my back was starting to sweat, I remembered that the engine of the bus was at the back and I couldn't even feel the aircon from our place, so during the bus ride I had to tilt myself forward so I won't sweat as much.
Before reaching the destination, I already stood up to go to the front because I don't want to be the last one going out and I was sweating already, I couldn't imagine the full blast of Summer here in the UAE. I walked inside the Metro station and felt a lot better because the airflow inside was really cool. I had to wait for 3 minutes before the train came. Then went down to the next station. When I checked the board, the bus what was I about to ride got delayed so I had to wait again for another 10 minutes. And then I got to work past 11 already.
When I got there, I received a message that the doctor wants to speak with me regarding my schedule. And then things got really busy so I wasn't able to talk to him. After treating one patient. The doctor told me that I'm going to go back to my old 10 am to 7 pm schedule. I was already adapting to my 12 pm to 9 pm schedule but I guess I can't do anything about it. Though I'm also happy that I'll be able to fix my sleeping schedule (Fingers crossed).
I treated 4 patients before my break. My first patient was a patient of mine who hasn't gone there for a long period of time, and he said that he was really busy. It was his last session today. My next patient said that everything started hurting again because of one of the events that she had to host. The other 2 patients were a couple that I've been seeing since April.
It was my colleague's 1st year anniversary of working in the company and she decided to treat the whole clinic with some sweets. I asked the name of the sweets but I couldn't remember it because it was really difficult to pronounce. Though both were good. The one on the left had cream inside of it, and the one on the right had a really good crust.
I got back to the clinic thinking that I would have some more patients, but then I checked my schedule and 2 of them canceled. I took advantage and did some of my notes. I then went down to the reception and spoke with the receptionist, He then answered a call and it was supposedly my 3rd patient after lunch and he called that he won't be able to make it because his car got destroyed. So I helped my doctor with one of his patients before treating my last patient. I treated my last patient and he was telling me about his friend telling him to buy Bitcoin when it was 700 USD before and he said that his friend is just traveling around the world right now. It's so inspiring to hear these kinds of stories. After treating him, the doctor asked me to treat 2 more patients. It was actually fun talking with them. After that, I clocked out before 9 pm to catch the next bus. I was just speaking with my colleague because we rode the same bus and she was just talking about her life before. It was also nice learning from her.
We separated ways when it was the metro station. I don't like taking the train on Sundays because of the lack of transportation, especially during the evening. So I went straight to the bus station and transferred to a bus that goes near our area.
I then went to look for a place to eat dinner and I ate in an Indian Restaurant. I really love the taste of their shawarma there and ordered 2 for dinner. After consuming it, I went to this grocery and checked what was there, I ended up buying some masks and a bottle of honey. I then walked home, it was a 10-minute walk from there. As soon as I got home, I was craving some yogurt so I ate it with some honey. I then spoke with my girlfriend and finished writing this.

A Tragic Weekend
Before anything else, here's a photo of the flag right now. All of the flags here are at half-mast due to the death of the President last Friday. That was such sad news learning about it. To my surprise, the government actually gave the 3 days off from Sat to Monday for mourning. No one is allowed to have many kinds of activities or celebrations.
I'm kinda unlucky because we still had work and I don't know if we have any compensation for it compared to my other classmates who have no work, and are compensated.
Here's how my day went. Before going to sleep I was able to video chat with my girlfriend because it was her day off. The time difference is that she is 4 hours ahead of us and works during the night shift that's why she's awake at that time.
The thing that I love about working from 12 to 9 is that I get to sleep late and wake up naturally without an alarm. I then got ready just taking my time. I saw a message wherein they were asking me if I would be able to go to the clinic at 11 but I couldn't because we don't have a feeder bus and I didn't want to waste my cash on a taxi ride because I want to take advantage of my public transportations travel pass.
Then I was thinking of it wherein if I go early, I could leave at an earlier time. So I decided to take an earlier bus. At the bus stop, someone was offering 5 dirhams just to go to the metro, I was really tempted to do it but in the end, the bus came. I got to the metro station and rode the train. I always like staring outside and I know that I'm already close to the next station whenever I see the building Lamborghini. I wonder when will I ever get to drive one haha.
As soon as I arrived at the next station and went to the TV monitor that shows when the next bus is coming, It said that the bus that I usually ride to work is arriving NOW. I thought I missed it but it arrived a few minutes late. Because of that, I was able to get to work earlier than usual. I got there at around 11:25.
I was thinking of making that time an offset once they gave me a task to do. My first patient wasn't really my patient, it should have been the patient of my colleague but he was late so I had to treat him from 11:45. After that patient, I had two more patients. I was expecting one more but she canceled. So I was just speaking with my colleague until my lunch break.
After my lunch break. My next patient didn't show up but they sent me a patient to treat. I had to treat 5 patients. I was kinda drained after the last patient's treatment. I was just finishing my notes and speaking with my other colleague while waiting for nine o clock. I got out of work, took the bus going to the bus station, and waited for the bus that goes to our place. Went to the grocery to get some bread and ate dinner with all my leftovers. I finished eating at around 11 pm. I hope that you guys had a great Sunday. Have a great week ahead!

Kite Beach, Dubai
Good day, guys!
There came the point in time when I was working, I said that everyday just seemed like a routine, wherein I ride a bus to go to the metro station then take the train and go to the next stop then ride another bus to go to work, finish work, wait for the bus to come, then transfer to another bus and eat in a place near our home/eat at home. Every day just seemed so redundant. I know I can explore, but sometimes you are just too drained and you just want to rest after having a long day.
I thought that this would be a normal day. I went inside our pantry and spoke to some of my Filipino colleagues. Suddenly, one of my colleagues asked if I had a patient, and I said none. She asked if I wanted to go to the beach for a while. And my Filipino colleagues said go and take advantage of that moment to go somewhere else. So my colleague drove us to the beach, I didn't know that it was only a few minutes to go there if you had a car. She was telling me that she already brought her family to this beach. She was looking for a place to park and she had to turn a few times just to find the perfect spot. The place that we went to was Kite Beach. We got down and she asked if I wanted to eat or drink. We went around the stalls, but it wasn't available whenever we wanted something. So we just decided to walk around first. I noticed that there were a lot of shops that were closed. There were a lot of people also walking along the way.
I thought that we would be able to go and walk going towards the water, but there was an ongoing construction which extended really far. So we just decided to walk around
This was the pathway, I noticed that they even put how many meters you walked/run on the green pavement. As you can see, there's also a mosque which is near the beach
We just walked up to this point and checked out what was there. There were a bunch of restaurants but we didn't like anything. So we just headed back.
While walking back this was the view. If you zoom in on the photo, the blurry building there at the back is the Burj Al Arab which is one of the 5 stars hotels here in Dubai, its distance feature is that it looks like a giant ship sail. I asked if my colleague has ever been there and she said she hasn't. I see this every time I go to work, though I've never seen it up close, maybe in the future.
We went back to one of the stalls, and my colleague treated me to a blueberry-flavored granita. . While the man was preparing our drinks. He was guessing what was my nationality and he guessed it right. My colleague also guessed his nationality and it was Sudanese. I took a sip and this drink reminded me of a Slushy. This drink was really refreshing and we were just walking and talking until the receptionist called me and said that we had to go back because there was a patient who was waiting. So our walk was cut short but it was really fun because I got to know my colleague more.
When we got back to the clinic, my colleague was laughing at me and said look at your mouth. I immediately went to the restroom and checked the mirror. My mouth, tongue, and teeth were colored blue. When I went out, I said it was like I gargled the toilet water which had a blue tablet.

Happy Mother's Day and my Day
Before everything else, I want to greet all the beautiful Mothers, a Happy Mother's day!
Let me share with you my day, I slept later than usual because my work would start from 12pm to 9 pm. To be honest, I really didn't like that idea but I can't do anything about it. I remember when I saw my first schedule, I got frustrated because I work 12-9 on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 9-6 on Saturday, and 10-7 on Monday and Wednesday. I was thinking about my sleeping schedule with this kind of schedule.
So I woke up having more hours of sleep, was just taking my time before getting ready. When I went out of my room, my flatmate asked if I was late already, and I said that my work starts at 12. After getting ready I got to greet also my flatmate a happy Mother's day.
I then checked the bus schedule and left earlier than usual because there was no feeder bus going to the metro and I wanted to see if there are a lot of people waiting. To my surprise, there wasn't that much compared to the other Sundays where I walk to the stop before us just to secure a seat. The only problem with leaving during that time is the heat of the sun. While waiting for the bus, I stayed under a tree. I'm glad that those trees grew their leaves already because they cut them before. I just didn't like the smell of the person beside me because he was smoking. Thankfully, the bus came already. I was really surprised that I was able to get a seat.
I'm really blessed that I was able to get a seat because after a few bus stop the bus became really full wherein there were a lot of people standing even in the middle row. When we got to the metro station, we got delayed getting out because there was an officer from the Roads & Transport Authority who was checking all our cards before going down. If you get caught not tapping your card and having no balance on your card, you will get fined.
I went inside the Metro station and there weren't that many people. If you look at the station, there's a section for women and children. There are actually 3 cabins for women and children on the train. When I got inside, there weren't that many people.
During my ride, I usually look through the window. But this was my first time riding this train, I tried looking through the window but I was getting dizzy so I had to look away. Just try looking at my photo below and you probably would look away also. We also have those on some of the buses and the advantage of it is when it blocks the sunlight.
I got to work earlier than usual. The funny thing is that I thought I was really recharged after my sleep but I got really sleepy during my commute. My commute usually takes an hour just going to work.
When I got there, I was just checking my schedules. I was supposed to have a patient at 12 o clock but, she didn't show up. So I was speaking with my other colleagues until my next patient came. After treating that patient, I was waiting for the next one before I take my break. While waiting I was greeting Happy Mothers day through messenger. He also didn't show up so I took my break at 3 o clock. You might find it weird why my break is early, but I made it 3 o clock just to break my fast because I'm intermittent fasting.
After my break, I treated 3 patients. The first 2 patients were a couple and then the next was a long patient of mine. I was supposed to have another one but the patient didn't show up again. So I was really bored waiting for time to pass by. I was talking with my other colleagues. I was talking with the people in the Aesthetic department and the nurse there gave me 2 oranges. I ate them and they were really sweet but not only that, they were seedless. She said that when she got those, the stalk and leaves were still attached and she said that it was fresh.
After that, I went down and spoke with the other therapist, and we decided to go up on top of the rooftop while trying to kill time because we had no patients. You could see the Burj Al Arab from our workplace.
The other therapist left at 8 and I was the only one left there with the receptionist and the insurance person. We were just talking to kill time. No patients showed up so I left earlier. I made sure that the bus would come before leaving our clinic. I just waited for a while then the bus came. I went to the bus station, then ate dinner there because I'm really lazy to cook. I also had to wait for the bus to come and it came after 15 minutes.
When I got home, greeted the couple who lives in the flat and I was just talking with them. After talking with them, they actually offered me some food so I tried it. It was coffee Jelly, It actually tasted delicious. I ate it while watching some anime. After that, I did some of my laundries because it already piled up. I ended my day by speaking with my girlfriend.

Sublime and Beautiful Sunday- Enjoying the Break
Good day, guys!
Before sleeping I asked my friend if I could hitch a ride again for the last time, I said last because my schedule every Sunday would change already. I also got to speak with my girlfriend before sleeping. I slept at around 2 am in the morning, it was the very first time that my roommate sleep ahead of me.
I woke up at around 6:45 to get ready. And did everything that I had to do. Walked outside of the building, waiting for my friend. I noticed that the leaves of the palm trees are glowing, they looked dead before.
Met up with my friend and her boyfriend accompanied her to say goodbye. We then took a taxi going to the metro station, thankfully the driver knew where to go and it was a really smooth ride. Got to the metro station and we were just catching up because we haven't spoken in a while. Though our talk was cut short because I had to go down to the next station. It was nice catching up.
At the metro station, while waiting for the bus to come, my usual routine is to go and sit on the chairs provided just looking at the sign, and when it hits around 3 minutes I leave the chair and wait for the bus outside shaded area. The only thing that I hate about bus timings is that most of the time there are delays. While I was on my way to work, something out of the blue happened, I was able to see an accident while going to our workplace. I hope that no one was harmed during the accident.
I got to work at exactly 9 am. I was waiting for my 9:15 patient but he rescheduled to the afternoon. I was waiting for my next patients and they were a couple. I opened my blinds waiting for them, and they were kinda late. But when I was treating them, I was kinda touched because they were jokingly saying that if ever they transfer to a different country they would want to kidnap me hahaha, it was my very first time to hear something like that. It just felt really nice coming from a patient. Then I treated 2 Filipinos and an Indian lady. I was able to rest at around 3 pm for my lunch break. We were just talking with my colleagues. I was surprised that the mango tree beside the place where we stayed had a lot of fruits, though we usually ask the caretaker if it's okay if we could get some.
After lunch, I was just waiting for my patient who was a patient from the UK. Then my next patient was also from the UK, it was nice talking with them and asking for their insights.
I was supposed to leave at around 6 pm then my doctor called me if I could start one of his patients so I had no choice but to do it. I finished around 6:20 pm then I'm really thankful that I didn't have to wait too long for the bus. I went to the metro station and that made me realize that was a really stupid love to do, because every Sunday, there's no feeder bus that goes to our place which makes it really difficult to ride public transportation. While I was waiting for the bus, I was already regretting the decision that I really made. I should have just stayed on the first bus that I did and then transferred to another bus that would go to our place. But I had to wait for 30 minutes before the bus came. When the bus was there I was really lucky that I was one of the people who were able to get inside because the bus was really full. That's the sad reality when it comes to Sunday. There are a lot of people who want to go home but there's a lack of transportation. So there would be a contest to be able to get onto the bus. Luckily I was one of the first people who were able to enter the bus and secure a seat. That's the problem that we are currently facing, there are a lot of people who want to go home but there's a lack of communication.
When I got home, I was greeted by my friend and my other flatmates because they were busy preparing dinner. I just fixed up and spoke with them. After a while, we started to eat dinner. We had a lot of food and the staple was mainly pork, I got really full eating a lot. We were drinking whiskey and some beer while watching some NBA games.
We were first watching on the TV until the women wanted to do some karaoke to everything exchanged. We were forced to watch on the laptop whole and listen to them sing. It was actually a fun night and I could even feel my drunkenness while typing everything. I only drank today because we have a 3-day break. Market Friday- Noon Grocery
**Good day, guys!**
As much as I wanted to go out somewhere and look for the items that I needed. I actually had no time. So instead of going somewhere, I went online to buy my stuff. I used an application called Noon. They have different services wherein the default feature is comparable to Amazon. They also have noon Food and noon grocery. I already tried ordering from the default service before. It's my first time ordering from Noon Grocery. I had to buy some vitamins and when I was comparing both the default and the grocery, the latter had more choices and it even had cheaper choices which surprised me. I had to buy some vitamin supplements and added other things. I just added them all to the cart, decided my delivery date and time, and paid for it. I'm actually surprised that they asked the date and time it would be delivered because back in the Philippines, it wasn't like that.
I ordered it during my day off so I'll be able to get it. The app was really convenient to use. I was patiently waiting for my order because I ordered it in a time frame from 10 am to 2 pm. It already passed 2 and my order wasn't there yet. I was wondering where it was already, then I received a message that the delivery was on its way. Then around 2:30, I heard the doorbell and I opened the door and it was the delivery guy from noon. I got this brown paper bag, and I noticed that it was cold. They must have stored it in a cold container. I also checked my phone and they sent me a message that the person was on his way and a photo of the bag in front of the doorstep prompting me to collect my goods as soon as you can.
The bag wasn't securely sealed. It made me wonder, what will happen if one of the items inside the bag would fall. So as soon as I opened it, I made sure that everything was inside.
I was wondering what was this yellow flyer and it was a Ramadan Calendar for 2022 where it showed all the timings of the Prayers.
These are the vitamin supplements that I got. Vitamin C and D. I was running out of my vitamins already that's why I decided to buy them. I bought them just to help me with my immune system. I don't want to get sick again and I also don't want to get affected by covid for the third time.
I also got some tahini. It's actually my first time getting a bottle of this. This is pure peeled roasted and ground sesame seeds I saw that they use this when they make hummus. I was just curious about what it tastes like and I would like to use it for future recipes.
Here comes the odd one out, the deodorant. I just had to get this just in case I ran out. I actually prefer using deodorant compared to antiperspirant. I remember when I used to use antiperspirant it ruined a lot of my shirts, especially the white and dark-colored ones, the anti perspirant left yellow residue on the underarms of my white shirts and the colored shirts they had a white residue which were difficult to remove.
Anyway, I'm actually happy that all my items came and they were all intact. One thing that bothered me was when I received the items cold, I was scared that it would have built up moisture on the soft gel capsules of the vitamins. Thankfully when I opened it, they were not affected. I also hope that they would be mindful of it and I also hope that it would come on time if ever I use this service again.

A Delightful Sunday
**Good day, guys!**
Being in a long-distance relationship, I try to find time to speak with my girlfriend. Luckily, it was her day off, so I was able to speak to her before I slept at around 1 in the morning. I woke up with my alarm at 7 o clock to get ready for work. I usually wake up earlier if I'm going to take a bus.
On Sundays, the feeder bus that goes straight to the Metro isn't available so using a bus during this day is such a hassle with all the other stops and it's usually overcrowded. I'm really blessed to have a friend whose company is really kind to her because they let her take a taxi to go to the metro and reimburse everything that she has spent. So I usually ask her the night before if we have the same schedule and she would inform me. Luckily, we had the same schedule today so she told me that we would meet up at 8 am in the morning.
We met each other and rode a taxi, and we asked the taxi driver to drive us to the Metro. For some reason, he doesn't know where it is. My friend was instructing him on where to go but he entered the wrong fork. Instead of letting him go to the 1st station that we said, my friend suggested going to the farther one using the route that he took, we were driving the GPS was on and he missed going the wrong turn. So my friend told him to go to the 1st station again or we had to turn around 4 times. We finally arrived at our destination and we normally spend 16-20 just to go there but it was 29.50 a while ago.
We were just talking and catching up with my friend while waiting for the train to come. We had to separate when the train came because it was jam-packed and she just decided to stay on the side where the women were.
My journey was just until the next station so I got down and I had to wait for the bus to come. I waited for around 20 minutes for the bus and headed to work. As you see the photo, that's how it usually is. Some of the people usually stay inside the building because it's cooler because of the air conditioning (I'm one of them haha). The bus finally came and I got to work. I timed in 2 minutes before my work officially started.
My first patient came and he was from the Philippines. I treated him while asking him some of his plans for the future. Then I had no patient for the next 45 minutes so I was just finishing my notes while waiting for my patient. My patient actually came earlier than usual so I treated him. So there was a 15-minute gap before my next patient, so I was just preparing the room. My patient came and I had to treat 3 back to back patients for a 45-minute session. A good thing was that it was my lunch break after.
I then ate my lunch and was just resting. During my lunch break, we got a message that our work would have a 2-day holiday for Eid. I'm kinda excited because I'll be able to get some rest. Working 6 times a week really drains you a lot.
I then went inside and I was expecting a patient to come, but she never came. I was just talking with my other colleagues while waiting for my next patient. I went to the reception area and asked if my next patient was there and he was there upstairs waiting. So I went to treat him, it was actually amusing to meet him because he is a photographer and a videographer. He shared with me his website after treatment and I was in awe while looking at his photos.
He was supposed to be my last patient but the doctor gave me 2 more patients before leaving. After the treatment of the 2 patients, did a bit of aftercare with all the machines and the room that I stay in. I left work and I had to wait for the bus to come. One problem that I'm encountering with this bus stop is that the aircon doesn't work so it feels like an oven when you enter.
I got to ride the bus after 10 minutes of waiting and just went straight to the bus station. I usually eat in the restaurant beside this bus station. After eating, I had to take another bus going to our place. I also had to wait for around 15 minutes before it came. After the bus ride, I went straight home because I had a webinar to attend. As soon as I got home, I was just speaking with my flatmates.
One sad and frustrating thing happened to me though, my wireless mouse left click button doesn't work. I actually don't know what happened to it. I hope that it would fix itself. I then attended the seminar, watched some anime, and spoke with my roommate. I hope that you all had a great weekend!

My Day 4-18-22
Good day, guys!
Here's how my day started. I woke up at an earlier time because it was a Sunday. On Sunday I have to leave the house earlier than usual to walk to the bus stop before the bus stop that I usually go to. I do that because getting inside the bus would be a lot easier, and there's a higher chance of securing a seat. I then got ready and walked to the bus stop. It was a bit hot so I used an umbrella going there.
I was just listening to my phone and waiting for the bus to come. I had to wait for around 10 minutes before it came. When it came, I was kinda scared because the bus was kinda full, so what I did was go to the back of the bus where the seats are. I stayed in the right position because there was someone leaving the bus at the next stop so I got the seat.
As soon as we reached the stop where I usually ride my bus during the regular days, there was a flood of people going inside. The passengers in front of me were even telling the people to stay inside the red line so that the doors would close. I really don't like the commute on Sundays because the bus is really crowded and it has a lot of stops. On the other days, there's a feeder bus that brings you straight to the metro saving travel time. But those buses are not available on Sundays.
I reached the metro station and I immediately went onto the train so I could go to the next stop. I went to the stop and I was just waiting for the bus to come. I'm lucky that there were no delays today and I was able to come to work on time.
My first patient was late, he has been late for the past 2 sessions. But it was nice talking to him again and treating him. After that patient 2 of my patients canceled on me. So I was just helping our doctor and doing my notes.
My 2nd patient came and I also haven't seen her for around 2 weeks. It was nice catching up with her because of her mindset of how she wants to live life. I was patiently waiting for my next patient which was supposed to be at 1 pm but he came in late by 15 minutes. I just treated him, it was my first time handling him but everything was good. I then ate lunch.
After lunch, I was just waiting, my 3 o clock patient didn't show up also but I helped the doctor treat one of his patients. It was his first time getting treated and he has a lot of pain in his body. He admitted to me that it's because of his travels by car every day.
My next patient was my oldest patient, she had problems with her shoulder. I think it's because of overwork. The sad thing is that she is dependent on painkillers. I hope that she'll change her mindset and get well soon.
After treating her, I had to treat another shoulder patient but I haven't seen him for around 3 weeks already. He said to me that he has been super busy and that he sleeps at 1 am already because of work. I felt so bad for him, though he may be young, if we abuse our bodies, we will really pay the price in the future.
My next patient canceled on me, and I had to treat my last patient. He's a new patient and one of my patients referred him to me. After that, I had to do Aftercare with the equipment and left. After leaving took a bus to go to the bus station and I ate dinner there. From that bus station went to the bus that goes home. Before entering the house, I went out for a walk just to relax my mind. When I got home, I just used my laptop. I hope that you guys had a great day!

An Eventful Day
**Good Day Guys**
It's my lucky day today. I woke up earlier than usual and got ready for work. I got to video chat with my family and they were showing me the new dog that they got.
After getting ready, I was able to greet one of the guards of the building. He's really kind and always greets me and asks how am I every time I see him and I pass by. From there I was walking my usual route and then I something hit me from above, I thought it was water and checked my clothes, a bird took a crap and it hit me.
When I first got here, I've always wondered if people get hit by bird poop because there's a lot around the buildings. I didn't expect that I would be one of the victims haha. I'm glad that I was just near our place so I rushed going back and checking if I got hit in my head, changed my clothes and I was really rushing because I'd be doomed if I miss the bus. As soon as I got to the traffic light before crossing, I saw the bus approaching. Thankfully, I was able to catch up and get on the bus.
While I was riding the bus, I was just busy cleaning my bag because there were remnants of the bird poop after I wiped it.
I also took some photos when I was riding the bus. If you look straight ahead. You could see the tallest building in the whole world which is the Burj Khalifa.
Just in front of the metro station where I got to, there's this place that sells Luxurious cars. Made me wonder how much they are. I hope that Crypto will just moon and I'll be able to afford these kinds of stuff in the future hahaha.
Whenever I pass by and look at this scene it relaxes me because there's so much color coming from the flowers, plants, trees, and grass This part has a really good landscape. I remember the workers who were landscaping under the heat of the sun.
This is the other bus stop. I usually, wait for another bus before going to work. I only had to wait for around 5 minutes before it arrived.
My commute usually takes around 50 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. When I got to our clinic, I had to start treating a patient. I had no patients at the start of the day. So I was just assisting. After lunch, I had back-to-back patients from 3 o clock to 7 pm. And at the middle of that, they were even asking me to assist with the other patients. I couldn't do anything but say yes. There also came a point in time when I was handling 3 patients at once. Kinda tiring but I survived. After that, I went to the mall for a while just to buy some items from the grocery. There were so many distractions because of the special offers, but I'm glad that I was able to stop myself from the temptations
I had to take the metro going to the bus stop. When I got there I was lucky because there was a bus. But the bus didn't leave immediately because the sensors of the door were malfunctioning. from a normal 20 minute trip it became a 40-minute trip. It was kinda tiring because I was just standing up the whole time. Before getting off the bus, there was a commotion I didn't notice until I saw so many people staring. There was a person who collapsed. They woke her up with water and she got off the bus.
After everything that just happened, I just went straight to this place and ate some dinner at this food court that's in front of the building where I stay. . I hope that your week is going great guys! May you all have a great remainder of the week

Happy Hump Day
**Good Day Guys**
Let me share with you some of my snaps. Whenever I go to work, I travel using public transportation. I'm pretty lucky because the bus stop is just near the place that I live in. It was pretty cloudy on that side, but the sun was brightly shining.
Whenever it's shining, this is my go-to spot, I stay under a tree and take advantage of its shade. I go here because the waiting shed where the bus stop is small and really crowded. I also look in the direction where the bus comes from so when it's near already I walk towards the stop.
It was actually my first time seeing someone clean this part, and he was just using a leaf blower. It really looked so satisfying to look at most of the dirt and trash being blown to one corner.
I was able to ride the bus and was able to get a seat. I'm telling you this because there are times when it would be a competition going inside and getting a place to sit if you're not fast enough or unlucky you are probably going to stand until someone leaves their seat or stand during the whole bus ride. I've experienced standing a lot of times already.
The photo below was when I was on the train. If you look at the furthest building you would see the Burj Al Arab which looks like a giant sail. I take the train because it's more convenient than transferring from bus to bus.
I only have to ride to the next station, If you look at the photo, This is how it usually looks every day, wherein mostly all of the people are looking at the left waiting for their bus to arrive.
After riding the bus, I usually get off here and walk a few meters going to my workplace. I usually work from 10 am to 7 pm but sometimes I have to extend. Sometimes it could be really tiring to extend but the worse thing about extending is when you miss the bus because of it. Waiting for a bus can sometimes be gruesome and what sucks is that when they get delayed due to traffic.
I usually cross this every morning and at night time to go back to the place that I live in, During the morning, it usually takes a while before I could cross, that's why I leave my place early. The crappiest way to start the morning is to get left by the bus.

Starting the Year 2022
**Good Day Guys**
This is going to be my first post this Year 2022. I just wanted to ask how is your 2022 going? I hope that it's going great.
I haven't been active and posting for the longest time because I actually relocated and trying my chances in a different country. It has really been busy especially adapting to life here in the UAE. The start of the year has really been crappy for me I tested positive again for COVID-19 and I'm currently isolating. I finally found time to write again.
Let me share with you my Wednesday walk last week. During that day I told my boss that I wasn't going to enter work because I was feeling symptoms. I said that I would rather test myself and see if I was struck by COVID19 again than spread the disease at the clinic that I work in. During the afternoon, I decided to look for a clinic that does the covid-19 PCR swabs and I went to the closest one which was across the street where I live. When I got there I read a piece of paper that said "PCR is on an appointment basis only", so I slowly walked away.
From there, I walked going towards a mall that's near us because there are clinics inside. I was really lucky during that day because the sun was being covered by the clouds and it was really windy which is really unusual. I was also busy appreciating the surroundings of the community that I live in. While I was walking I also noticed the wind blowing some of the sand, I don't know why but I really found it amusing.
Though there's only one sad part. There's a lot of litter in some of the places where I was walking. I really don't know who does this but there are people who scatter numbers of women and their photos on the floor which adds up to the litter on the streets.
If you look at the photo, the building on the left side is the mall that I went to. You have to cross a couple of pedestrian lanes that have lights and the wait is kinda long. I had to be mindful because the crossing time is limited.
When I got to the mall, I went to the first clinic and they said that it was past their cut-off time already. So I went to the other clinic. When I got to the other clinic the assistant told me that the waiting time is 2 hours. I really had no choice so I filled up a form and waited for my name to be called. The test cost 150 AED or that's around 40.84 USD and they told me that the waiting time was 36 hours before getting the results.
After the swab, I immediately got out to go home. The sky was turning dark already. In the photo below, we were waiting for our turn to cross. These traffic lights usually gather a lot of people before crossing. It took me around 10-15 minutes to get home after all the waiting and walking.
I actually got my results after 24 hours after getting tested and I kinda panicked on what to do, because I didn't like to get fined. Thankfully the message that I received told me that I should download an application and that application was the one guiding me on what to do.
Now, I'm just waiting for my quarantine to end. Anyway, I hope everything going well with you guys!

The battle mana cap was 27 with the "Earthquake" rule.
**Lineup**
My Lineup
Summoner: Brighton Bloom
Monsters: Stone Golem, Unicorn Mustang, Wood Nymph, Serpentine Mystic, and Earth Elemental
Opponents Lineup
Summoner: Malric Inferno
Monsters: Living Lava, Giant Roc, Serpentine Spy, Fire Beetle, and Fire Elemental.
The Battle

**Round 1**
It started off with my opponent's fire elemental attacking my stone golem but thankfully, it missed its first hit. Though his Serpentine spy went next and killed my wood nymph. His Fire Beetle was sniping my serpentine mystic and his giant Roc attacked my sone golem. Then my serpentine mystic attacked the living lava damaging it. Both my stone golem and earth elemental attacked the living lava but because of its shield, they both can't damage it. To end the round my opponent's living lava missed its attack.
**Round 2**
At the start of round 2, the earthquake took effect damaging most of his monsters and killing both the serpentine spy and Fire Elemental. His Fire beetle was still trying my serpentine mystic and his giant Roc attacked the stone golem. My serpentine mystic with 1 HP had its turn and damaged the living lava. My other monsters couldn't do anything because of the shield. And it's living lava damaged m stone golem.
**Round 3**
The Earthquake killed his fire beetle and destroyed the armor of his living lava. The Giant Roc attacked my stone golem then my serpentine mystic attacked his living lava. And the Living lava attacked my stone golem. My stone Golem was left with 1 HP at the end of this round.
**Round 4**
The earthquake damaged his living lava. His Giant Roc killed my stone golem. But I'm glad that it was able to live that long. Before the round ended his living lava attacked my unicorn mustang dealing 4 damage to it.
**Round 5**
This was the final round and the earthquake finally killed my opponent's living lava. The Unicorn Mustang attacked his Giant Roc and the Giant Roc attacked it back. The serpentine mystic finally killed the giant Roc.
**Spoils of War**
I got 3.434 DEC and my rating increased by 19.
**Did your strategy work?**
My strategy using the stone golem actually worked. I actually used him to become the tank because his skill shield is really useful against other monsters especially when their range/ melee attacks are 1 because they wouldn't deal damage to it. To be honest, I wasn't sure why my opponent used Malric instead of a Brighton, if that would have happened I could have lost this match. The earthquake just dealt a lot of damage to his monsters. Though I'm happy that the stone golem was able to prolong the match and served its purpose as a tank.
**Do you like the Stone Golem ?**
Yes, I definitely like using this guy especially when the mana cap is low. I also love using him with the summoner mylor in the silver league. The shield really helps it become a really nice tank.

The Story of My Phone

Hey guys! I know that I haven't posted for a very long time because I've been really busy lately and adapting to change.
I actually asked my brother to take photos of my phone with his camera so I'll be using some of those photos in this post.
Here's the story of my phone. Most of my phones were hand-me-downs and gifts. My phone prior to my phone right now was an iPhone 5s given by my cousin from Canada. It was already breaking down because the battery wouldn't even last long.
I was thoroughly researching what to get and I decided to get a cellphone from Xiaomi because I had a Mi3 before.
Last 2019 was my very first year of employment. The first thing that I was saving for was a new cellphone. Because this was a newer version during that year, it was difficult to look for a physical unit. So I decided to buy the phone from Shopee, from a seller called winmishop. I chose this seller because everything was positive reviews. To be honest I was also pretty scared that I got it online, but right now I could say that it's worth it. The unit that I got is called the K20 Pro
Here's a video of when I did the unboxing of my phone. I was pretty impressed when I got this phone because it was tightly sealed and was wrapped with a lot of bubble wrap. It even came with some freebies.

This phone has just been my best friend for these past years. I always bring it with me, and I couldn't leave it hahaha. This phone has been really handy, I use it to text, surf the internet, call, and do some of my crypto stuff. And this is also what I use for my alarms
To be honest, I really love android phones compared to the IOS because I could do so much with them. I love that you could just plug it into your computer and do file transfers conveniently.
I also bought this for blogging purposes, I just love taking photos of things and experiences. I remember that I took this photo when we went to Baler. My phone was just 4 days old at that time and I was really lucky that I was able to bring it on that trip.
Here's one more epic shot. I was also shocked that it was able to take photos of the clouds during that time. And it was really clear despite being nighttime. Let me share with you my battle against the Goblin Shaman.

Monsters: Cerberus, Goblin Shaman, Kobold Miner, Serpentine Spy, Fire Elemental and Fire Beetle.

**Round 1**
It started with both of our Fire elementals lashing out their powers accompanied by their blast damage. My Exploding rat went next and damaged the cerberus leaving 1 hp left, unfortunately, the Cerberus healed and killed my exploding rat. Then both of our Serpentine Spies attacked. His serpentine spy hit the armor of the living armor while my serpentine spy was able to kill his Cerberus). His Fire beetle was attacking my Fire elemental which was at the backline then it also got attacked by the Kobold Miner. My Kobold Miner was trying to kill the fire beetle at the back. To end the round my living lava was able to smash the Goblin Shaman, giving back all my monsters their 1 hp back.
**Round 2**
At the start of round 2,Our Fire elementals were still the ones who started the round attacking both of our tanks. My serpentine spy attacked the tank while his serpentine spy killed my fire elemental. The kobold miners attacked and my Living Lava finished off his Kobold Miner bringing making his Serpentine Spy his tank.
**Round 3**
His Fire elemental went first and continued doing its damage with the blast. Then my Serpentine spy killed his Fire beetle because of its opportunistic skill. and to end the round his serpentine spy and my Living lava traded blows for the next round.
**Round 4 -9**
His Fire elemental killed my living lava and then his serpentine spy went ahead and killed my serpentine spy. However, my kobold miner didn't miss and killed his serpentine spy. This move made the fire elemental the tank thus making it useless. My Kobold Miner was just missing and attacking thus making me win
**Spoils of War**
I got 12.65 DEC and my rating increased by 18.
**Did your strategy work?**
I was really thinking of what to put on that battle when I saw the equalizer rule. I decided to put the exploding rat o it would be able to deal damage to the tank and with the blast. Though I didn't expect it to get killed during the first round. I'm also glad that none of my monsters were missing during this match-up, that would have given him a huge advantage. It's just really funny how it ended wherein it glitched and it went straight to
**Do you like the Goblin Shaman?**
Honestly, I don't use him that often because I couldn't make a lineup using this shaman to get me wins in the bronze and silver 3 leagues. But I really love his skill because that -1 HP can be a huge factor when played rightly in the game. It's just difficult now to use them because whenever I use the Fire splinter it usually gets countered by a Mylor or an all Magic deck depending on the rules.

A Productive Day
**Good Day Guys**
Let me share with you guys how I spent my day. Lately, my sleeping patterns have been wrecked wherein I stay up until early in the morning, so I tried to "reset" my schedule. During the morning I had to get myself swabbed so I went to one of the swabbing centers here in our place. When I got there I had to fill up a form, wait for my turn, pay, and get swabbed. The costs 4000 PHP. After a long time of not getting swabbed my nose got irritated. It gave me a runny nose the whole day. I also got to see the dogs of our cousins, Chloe, and Rooi.
When I got home, I was just playing with my pets, we actually have a dog and a cat. The cats' name is Yoda and our dogs' name is Pierre.
We were just waiting for lunchtime because that's when my brother and his wife decided to treat us. They treated us because his wife passed her sub-specialty exam as a doctor and ranked 2nd overall. We went to a place called Pares Retiro. It was really fun hanging out with my siblings. After that, we brought them home and they lent me a suitcase.
From there, we went to SM Baguio, because my mom had to buy stuff. I was also looking for a laptop lock because that's what my brother recommended me to get. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find one. I was just cherishing the view of this place.
Before leaving the mall, my sister treated us a Mcflurry, I just missed this and it was the perfect dessert because it was scorching hot during that day.
We also went to BCC because my grandpa told us to buy things to give to my uncle. I use to play golf with my grandpa there. Those were the days.
We then went to one of the satellite markets near our place, and I was already so sleepy during that time. While they were buying I was napping inside the car.
We then went home and I had to fix my stuff. Then I went out to meet my girlfriend. I guess that I could say that the day went great because I was able to bond with my loved ones.

National Sandwich Day- XXL Burger by BrrrGrrr
Happy National Sandwich Day
Let me share with you a sandwich from one of a local shop called Craft Burgers by BrrrGrrr. This is their XXL burger and it's a burger that's good for 4-6 people. This weighs around >1 kilo. It's served with a 9-inch diameter freshly baked bread, premium beef patty with lettuce tomato, and onions.
Me and my friend decided to eat here for dinner. We were really hungry during that time so we decided to order this behemoth. This was actually the first time I saw this in person after all their advertisements. When it got to the table it was really huge.
This was the biggest burger that I have seen in my whole life. And it really looked good when they served it. I tried placing my hand above the burger and it was bigger than my hand.
To eat this burger we had to divide it into 4 slices.
As I took my bite, the patty was really juicy and flavorful at the same time. The bun also tasted delicious. To be honest, we had a difficult time finishing it because we were only 2, the bun is so huge that it will fill you up fast. But in the end, we were able to finish it. And I could say that I truly enjoyed my experience here. This is the first place that offered a burger this big in our city and it also attracts a lot of people. I checked their page and a burger this big costs 359 Php or that's around 7.09 USD. I guess with its price and size it's a decent meal already.
