The Sister that I've Never Met
***Good day guys!***
Every year, we visit a specific grave during the month of November and it's the grave of my supposedly older sister. Before I was born, my mom had a miscarriage. We were supposed to be a year apart. This made me think about all the what-ifs? like what if she was alive, would I still be here? And what would happen if she was here with us right now? This also made me feel bad for my parents especially my mom to go through something like that. She must have been traumatized by what happened. But I guess everything happens for a reason.
According to my mom, her name should have been Therese. I've always wondered what would it feel like growing up with an older sister compared to my older brother haha.
The photo above is her grave, and she is located behind the grotto of my grandmother's garden. We just visited her recently to pray. We call her the Angel of our Family. Whenever we go to her grave we also ask her to pray for us and to protect all of us. I would have never met her but I'm still thankful that we have an angel by our side.
And beside her where there are a bunch of flowers on the ground is where we buried our first dog named Custo. We used to call him our Youngest little brother, though he died when he was 16 years old and I checked online and that's equivalent to 80 y/o in human years. For some reason, I miss him so much already. Losing a loved one can hurt really bad. Though all the memories with them will always be cherished.

Let me share you guys how I was able to beat a team that consisted of card with level 3 and above using level 1 cards.

The Battle

**Round 1**
As soon as I saw my opponents cards, I already thought that I would lose because his card levels were higher than me. At the start of the round, both his ranged characters, the venari and lone boatman, started attacking my shieldbearer decreasing its armor. My Luminous Eagle attacked his Shield Bearer, decreasing the armor and the Djinn Pierced through the armor but the Divine Healer Healed it and it also damaged my shieldbearer. My Evangelist and Gargoya attacked destroying the shield and damaging it. Both our Shield bearers had an exchange but his damage was higher. Then his Cave slug attacked me. Both of our Sand Worms attacked leaving both of our shield bearers with 1 HP ending this round.
**Round 2**
At the start of round 2, the earthquake took effect killing both of our shieldbearers and removing the armor of most of our monsters. The Venaris attack missed my eagle then the lone boatman was sniping my Djinn. My Djinn attacked the Slug, but it was healed by the Divine healer though my with the combined attacks of my evangelist and gargoya Devil, they were able to kill the Slug before it was able to attack. Bringing my opponents Sand Worm down, which missed its attack on the eagle. To finish the round, my sand worm killed the venari.
**Round 3**
The Earthquake decreased the HP of most of our units. The Lone Boatman was still sniping my Djinn but lacked damage to kill it so it had 1 HP left. The Djinn killed the Sand Worm. The Divine Healer became the tank, damaged my eagle but succumb to the attacks of the evangelist and gargoya. To end the round my Sand Worm destroyed its armor.
**Round 4**
The earthquake killed my Djinn and left my opponents HP by one. The Lone Boatman used its repair on itself and attacked my eagle destroying the armor and my eagle hit back by destroying its armor and my Evangelist gave the Final Blow to give me the Victory.
**Spoils of War**
I got 9.21 DEC and my rating increased by 21.
**Thoughts on this Battle**
Usually, when I see the ruleset Earthquake, I would normally go to Brighton Bloom, but the dragon splinter was not available. So I took my chances and used the Life Splinter so all the damage would be tanked by my Shieldbearer first. I was able to put also some cards that had flying that played a big role because some of my opponent's attacks missed and the earthquake wouldn't damage me. I also put an Evangelist there, just in case my opponent has a flying monster because the snare ability would remove the flying ability and make the earthquake hit it.
At first, when I saw my opponent's cards, I was already scared to see, how this match would go because my opponent had higher-level cards than me. But as the match progressed I was also wondering why didn't my opponent put any flying monsters because that the earthquake hit him/her harder than me. But I'm really glad that I was able to get the win in this battle.

Splinterlands Weekly Challenge: Elven Cutthroat

I decided to join the Share your Battle weekly challenge using the **Elven Cutthroat**.
**Battle information**
The battle mana cap was 32 with the "Up Close and Personal" rule. I was up against a Death Splinter.

Monsters: Stone Golem, Goblin Thief, Elven Cutthroat, Sand Worm, and Unicorn Mustang.

Monsters: Dark Ha'on, Spineback wolf, Parasitic Growth, Maggots, Elven Cutthroat, and Skeletal Assassin.
The Battle

**Round 1**
It started off, with his spineback wolf attacking first because of its reach and speed, though it couldn't damage my spine golem because of its skill shield. My opponent's skeletal assassin went to attack my Unicorn Mustang damaged it and died to the thorns. The Dark Ha'on attacked and destroyed one shield. Both of our Eleven Cutthroats attacked but missed. My Goblin Thief and Stone Golem attacked and damaged the Dark Ha'on. The Parasitic Growth killed my elven Cutthroat which killed it due to the thorns. My Sandworm did a great amount of damage to the Dark Ha'on and to end the round, the Maggots attacked my goblin thief that succumb to thorns also.
**Round 2**
During the next round, the spineback wolf still started by dealing no damage to my stone golem. The Dark Ha'on Attacked destroying the shield of my golem. Then my opponent's elven cutthroat attacked my unicorn, killing it because of the thorns. The Dark Ha'on received a flurry of attacks from my stone golem, goblin thief, and sandworm killing it at round 2
**Round 3**
The Spineback Wolf committed suicide by attacking my stone golem, killing it from the thorns. Thus making me Victorious.
**Spoils of War**
I got 8.626 DEC and my rating increased by 18.
**Did your strategy work?**
My strategy actually worked because when I saw the Up and close rule, I decided to use Mylor. And when you watched the gif of my battle, you could see how effective the thorns are versus my opponent's monsters. The thorns were able to take down all of his monsters except the Dark Ha'on. I wanted to go on a full sneak build attack here but the Dark Ha'on was tanking all the damage. So my elven cutthroat was kinda useless because it missed. But it became a great sacrifice taking the damage from the parasitic growth and bringing it down with it.
**Do you like the Elven Cutthroat?**
I actually like the Elven Cutthroat because of its sneak attack. But what's difficult is it's HP when it's level one because it would be crappy against things with the rule which has blast or opportunistic monsters. Like in my battle, it just died to an opportunistic monster. Though it really comes in handy whenever there's the ruleset little league. I would continue to use it during my battle in the future.

The Final Journey of My Clearance
**Good Day Guys**
Let me share with you my last day of finishing my clearance. I finally was able to let one of my colleagues have my clearance signed by one of the nurses the day before. I had to let my colleague sign it because when I went there, it was early in the morning and he still wasn't on duty until 3 pm so instead of waiting until that time, I had it signed. I got the papers from my old department and went to the final places to get the signature, I went to the Central Supply Room, Pharmacy, and lastly the Finance office. After the Finance office, I had to pass it to the VP of the Hospital. The Secretary told me to wait for around 30 minutes because the VP was still in a meeting.
I decided to go back to our department and catch up with some of my colleagues. When I got there, there were only 3 people on duty because some of them tested positive and the others had to quarantine.
After catching up, I went back upstairs to get the forms that were signed by the VP and headed to the University to get the other signatures. The one that sucked with all that clearance was all the stairs that I had to climb up and down. My old department is actually located in the basement, which I still don't understand because our profession mainly caters to people with neurological( people who suffered from stroke) and musculoskeletal conditions. It's not that accessible for those people suffering from those conditions. The funny thing is that the elevator still doesn't work ever since I left my job.
When I got to the University, I had to go to the accounting office which was located at the building called Diego Silang. I got 2 signatures from there. I noticed that the guard there was really friendly and accommodating. He would answer all the questions of the people politely and he also helped me have my things signed.
From there, I had to go to the HR office to get the last signature. When I got to the office, I had to submit my ID and the papers. They gave me an exit interview form to answer while waiting but then one of them told me to come back during the afternoon because someone was in a meeting.
That really sucked so bad because I wanted to finish it during the morning. But I can't do anything about it. So I decided to go home first and eat lunch.
I had to drive myself again going out just to finish this thing, to be honest, I was kinda lazy all ready to go back. When I got to HR, I thought that they would interview me. I just gave the exit interview form and they gave me back my papers and instructed me to give them back to the accounting office of the University. Before leaving the premises, I asked one lady who was in charge of giving the COE's but she told me to come back after 3 working days which was going to be the next week. It kinda sucked because I went there around 2 weeks before asking for the COE and she told me that I could only give it to you once you finish your clearance. I finally finished my clearance that day but she didn't honor her word. Instead of saying anything I just left.
I then went to the accounting office of the University and then, went back to the hospital because I had to give another form to the finance office.
Finally, I was able to finish after going there every day just to have things signed to get some of the cash that was being held. To be honest this process was gruesome. I thought I only had to get 17 signatures, but there was a total of 26 signatures from different people. So it was quite an exercise doing this. This is something that I shall never forget.

**Round 1**
It started off with three of his monsters attacking my tank. The monsters that attacked Spark Pixies, Fire Elemental, and Imp Bowman. Because of the +1 Speed of Pyre, it even made their speed faster. Good thing that there was that Armored up rule or I would have been shredded. From there my, Unicorn attacked his Living lava which only dealt 2 damage on his armor. His Zalran then attacked my tank and it was able to leeched some life. Here comes the fun part, my enchanted Pixie attacked his Living Lava piercing through its armor. My Goblin Sorcer was able to kill the Spark Pixies because of its sneak attack. My Khmer Princess damaged the tank and my Serpentine Mystic was able to finish off the Living Lava. To end this round my wood Nymph was able to heal the unicorn and damage Zalran.
**Round 2**
Both of his monsters went first again bringing the hp of my unicorn to 3. Then my Unicorn attacked his Zalran destroying its shield. His Zalran then attacked my unicorn but only dealt 1 damage due to the magic damage reduction of the unicorn. My Enchanted Pixie attacked Zalran and my Serpentine Mystic did the finishing blow. My Goblin Sorcerer also killed my opponent's Fire Elemental. And to finish the game the Khmer Princess fired its Finishing blow to the bowman imp giving me the Victory.
**Spoils of War**
I got 12.949 DEC and my rating increased by 18.
**Did your strategy work?**
When I saw that You could only use dragon, fire, or earth splinter in the fight. I decided to use the dragon splinter and using Delwyne DragonScale as my summoner. I chose him because of his +1 Magic damage and used the earth cards because the deck that I was using had the most magic monsters. So I just filled up my deck with the magic monster, making it similar to a Water Deck with Alric. Which also made me decide to use magic was the armored-up rule, so instead of trying to break through the armor, the magic damage penetrates it. This would have been difficult if I chose range because of their speed which would have me miss a lot.
**Do you like Dragons?**
Honestly, I like dragons because they are the most versatile deck, wherein you could use your other cards even if you don't have that many dragon cards. It kinda sucks that I don't have that many dragon cards on my deck. But I actually have fun using the summoners.

Monsters: Failed Summoner, Unicorn Mustang, Furious Chicken, Wood Nymph, and Goblin Death
The Battle

**Round 1**
At First, I thought I made the wrong choice of using the Death Splinter using Owster Rotwell versus Mylor until I saw the lineup. The first one to attack was my death elemental, and it killed my opponent's Furious chicken. I was happy that it served its purpose because I thought that it would die the next turn because of the goblin thief. My twisted Jester sniped its wood nymph killing it with one blow. I thought that the wood nymph would die due to the reflect magic damage of Owster. My haunted Spirit attacked Failed Summoner which damaged it due to the thorns. And then my Haunted summoner killed the Failed summoner. To end the round, my opponents goblin thief attacked my death elemental but thankfully it missed.
**Round 2**
Now that he only had a few monsters, my twisted jester, Haunter Spider, and Haunted Spirit were able to damage the Unicorn Mustang. My death elemental couldn't do anything because of the decrease magic attack of the Unicorn Mustang. What I found funny was that his goblin thief missed its attack again.
**Round 3 and 4**
To start the round my Death elemental attacked again, but there was no damage Then my twisted jester attacked the unicorn leaving 1 HP. His Unicorn Mustang killed my haunted spirit the next turn. And the haunted spirit was able to finish off his unicorn mustang. Bringing the Goblin thief forward. Then the goblin thief attacked the undead priest. On the last round, the death elemental did one damage and my twisted Jester finished it off.
**Spoils of War**
I got 10.919 DEC and my rating increased by 18.
**Did your strategy work?**
My strategy actually worked. I was thinking that my opponent would use the water elemental because he/she used it on the previous matches. That's why I decided to use Owster, but in the end, he was kinda useless because there was only one magic monster that died to my twisted Jester. Something that I didn't expect was the Haunted Spirit surviving. If it wasn't for the misses of Goblin thief, it wouldn't have survived. The cool part was that it was able to kill 2 monsters.
**Do you like the Haunted Spider?**
To be honest, I don't really use it that much because of its low hitpoints. It's really different to use them on the lower league because it still doesn't have abilities and it's kinda squishy. Maybe when I play in the higher leagues I would appreciate the strength of this monster.

Tajimaya- Baguio City Philippines
**TajimayaCharcoal Grill**
To continue my post from yesterday, we ate at Tajimaya for our dinner. This restaurant is located at Military Cut Off. When we got there, there were barely any customers.
**Place**
Before entering the place, we had to scan the QR code for contact tracing, check our temperature, and disinfect. They also have the policy of No Facemask no entry like most establishments.
When we got in, there were 3 tables being occupied. And it was dark inside, we actually wanted to stay by the window but the waitress said that we can't so they put us on that very first table. You could also see all the plastic barriers per table.
There were a lot of ings attached on the plastic barrier showing the different guidelines for dine-in.
**Menu And Price**
Me and my nephew opted to do the eat all you can instead of ordering single dishes. It's 639 Php or 12.63 USD per head. And they serve Beef, Pork, Chicken, Squid, Speial Sausage, Squid Roll, Salad, Sancyu, Mussels, Salmon Belly, Namuru and Rice.
It's kinda expensive compared to the other eat-all-you-can places.
**Food**
At our first round, we ordered everything on the menu. On the photos below that was all of the food that they serve when you avail the eat-all-you-can. You can see the charcoal blazing at the bottom of the grill.
Here comes the fun part the grilling, sometimes you don't get to eat because you're busy watching the meat on the grill because once you screw up, you'll burn your food. And there are also chances that, if you don't cook it well enough, your food is still going to be raw, especially with the chicken slices. That's the advantage of the beef and pork, they are thinly sliced though there are chances of it burning. The charcoal may be giving the flavor but what sucked about it was that you can't control the heat.
The food was good, We really loved the beef and sausage that's what we were just ordering for the other rounds.
Though, I noticed something crappy about their service. Sometimes it takes a long time for them to give your order/ change the charcoal grill. We ate there at around 6 pm and usually, the eat-all-you-can has a max of 2 hours. I was actually surprised that the last wall was at 7 pm. We tried ordering more but they said that they can only serve 2 plates of the choice of meat.
Overall, I enjoyed eating and speaking to my nephew. I just hope that their customer service would become better.

A Productive Day
Good Day Guys
Let me share with you what happened during my day, I had to wake up early to get ready because I had to have some of my papers signed for my clearance at work. I asked my mom if she could bring me to the hospital. But when I got there, I missed the Doctor who was supposed to sign it and that was in the basement. From there I went to the ICU to have the other head sign my paper but unfortunately, he wasn't there. It felt really crappy that I missed those 2 signatures. But one of my colleagues from before proposed that I'll leave it there so they could have 1 of the signature signed and I agreed.
From there I went to session road because I had to get a bank statement from my bank, but as soon I saw the entrance it was closed, and there was a piece of paper that says that, the bank would be closed during that day and that the other branches are opened. So I immediately called my mom and sibling if they could pick me up and bring me to another branch. Before entering the bank I had to fill up a piece of paper/ Health Declaration form. After that the guard to me to go to a specific bank teller. While they were processing it, the bank teller was so determined to sell me insurance though I didn't avail it. I finally got the bank statement that I needed. I then walked to the place where my mom parked then we went home.
When we got home, I saw this cute little fellow who was on our coach lying comfortably. Looking so surprised, he probably saying "Why are we back so earl? I wanted some more ME time".
My mom and sibling have been complaining about my hair, so I decided to contact my barber. I actually haven't cut my hair for a whole year, so it grew really long. I call that my Covid hair because ever since I got Covid-19 I never cut my hair, and I wanted to experiment.
Yup, here in our country we are still required to use face shields wherever we go. I'm also using a double mask just for protection because I have to travel next week. I don't want to test positive on my PCR if ever. We were just talking with my barber and we were catching up, he told me that there are fewer customers already due to the pandemic. But I'm actually glad that he was still there. I even greeted him with a belated Happy Birthday.
After my haircut, instead of passing by the normal route, I decided to pass a different route which is farther. I passed the Loakan Airport access road. I haven't driven in that place for a very long time, I also got to pass the runway. This airport does not have commercial flights so it isn't really busy. This site just reminded me of my childhood because my dad used to take us here if there were helicopters or airplanes parked. I used to be a fan of helicopters and airplanes. I also remember that we would bring our bikes in this area and race until the end with my cousin, siblings, and family friends. Those were the days.
After the haircut, this is how I looked. My mom and sibling said I looked different and clean. I took a bath when I got home just to remove some of the itchiness. I also contacted my nephew so we could meet.
Before meeting him, I had to go to SM City Baguio just to have my picture taken. I said to myself I must take advantage of this time because I looked cleaner hahaha. The funny thing was that when I spoke to the person who photographed me, we had the same conversation regarding the face shield that I was using the last time I had my photo was taken which was around 2 months ago. I had to wait for 30 minutes
While waiting for my photos, I decided to go to the Sky Terraces. I really don't know why but this view and scenery were really relaxing compared to the other times I was there. Maybe it's the clouds. I thought that I was going to see the sunset but it was covered with clouds.
After getting my pictures, I contacted my nephew and we were looking for a place where we could eat, we ended up eating at Tajimaya. It was really fun catching up with him after how many months of not going out because of the pandemic. It was also the perfect time to meet because he came from quarantine.
It was a really nice day despite having a crappy start.

Let me share with you one of the battles that I had, I was really scared when is saw that Scarred Llama Mage was my opponent. Join me as I share with you what happened during this battle.
**Battle information**
The battle mana cap was 28 with the "Lost Magic and Earthquake" rules.
**Lineup**

Summoner: Brighton Bloom
Monsters: Shieldbearer, Divine Healer, Venari Crystalsmith, Armorsmith and Evangelist
Opponents Lineup
Summoner: Scarred Llama Mage
Monsters: Pelacor Mercenary, Nectar Queen, and Venari Seedsmith.
The Battle

**Round 1**
Whenever I see the earthquake rule and see that the dragon splinter, I usually pick Brighton Bloom as m summoner so my monsters won't get damaged per round. As the first round started my Evangelist was able to put a snare on the Pelacor Mercenary, removing the flying skill, then my monsters started damaging it. It couldn't do anything but only destroy 3 shield from the shieldbearer. But it was replenished by the armorsmith.
**Round 2**
Because of the snare of the Evangelist, the pelacor Mercenary was receiving the Earthquake damage. So my monsters killed it then the Nectar Queen became the tank. The damage of Nectar Queen would have been painful if there was no shield.
**Round 3**
This is when the Evangelist was able to Snare the Nectar queen removing the flying ability of Nectar queen. and that is when my monsters started beating her up. bringing the hp down to 7.
**Round 4**
To be honest, I really don't know why my opponent used the Venari Seedsmith, because it has taken a lot of damage from the Earthquake, and because of the earthquake, it finally died. Hiving the Nectar Queen her HP back and a higher attack due to the last stand ability. Though the damage may be so high, it couldn't do anything due to the armor.
**Round 5**
The Earthquake was able to hit the nectar Queen, my evangelist attacked and the Venari Crystal smith gave the final blow giving me the Victory.
**Spoils of War**
I got 15.482 DEC and my rating increased by 24.
**Thoughts on this battle**
To be honest, I really forgot that the evangelist had the snare ability, and when I saw its effect on the monsters I was really happy. -2 hp per round on a monster plays a really big factor. Because of Bright bloom, I wasn't able to receive damage from all the monsters that's why I usually use her whenever there's an Earthquake rule. I was actually scared facing Scarred Llama Mage, I'm just glad that it wasn't Kron the Undying who was going to be the last opponent, or there's a chance that I would lose this battle. This was really a fun fight and I'm continually learning about this game.

Splinterlands Weekly Challenge: CRYSTAL JAGUAR
Good day guys!
I decided to join the Share your Battle weekly challenge using the **Crystal Jaguar**. To be honest I was having a difficult time thinking when I should use him because I only have a level 1 and it couldn't do as much.
**Battle information**
The battle mana cap was 30 with the "Super sneak" rule. I was up against a Death Splinter.
**Lineup**

Summoner: Tyrus Paladium
Monsters: Shieldbearer, Crystal Jaguar, Divine Healer, Armorsmith, Venari Crystalsmith, and Evangelist

Summoner: Zintar Mortalis
Monsters: Bone Golem, Undead Rexx, Twisted Jester, Undead Priest, and Haunted Spirit.
The Battle

**Round 1**
I actually thought of using Crystal Jaguar during this battle because there was the super sneak rule wherein I will be able to use him but when I saw my opponent's cards, I saw that he won't be useful until the match would end. It started with the twisted joker attacking my Shieldbearer. Then a barrage of attacks happened. I'm just glad that my armorsmith turn came before the undead rexx because if it wouldn't I would be taking so much damage. At the end of the round, I was able to remove the armor and damage the bone golem leaving 4 hp.
**Round 2**
During this round, the evangelist and ventari were able to take out the bone golem, making my opponents tank the undead rexx. I was really happy regarding the armorsmith because without him replenishing the armor my shielbearer would have died. That's what you call a clutch shield. I'm also happy with all the healing that my shieldbearer has been getting because without them I would also have lost this match.
**Round 3**
Moving on to round 3, everything was just stale at this point wherein, we were just damaging each others tanks.
**Round 4**
This is where the fun begins, because his undead rexx finally died to the evangelist, bringing his twisted jester down. And the twister jester couldn't do anything but receive all the damage. At this point, I was already thinking that I was going to win this match.
**Round 5 and 6**
During round 5 the opponents twisted jester finally died and because of my lack of damage to my team, his undead priest was finally picked off on round 6. Living his Haunted Spirit as his tank.
**Round 7 and 8**
Now, that his haunted spirit was all alone, he was just taking a beating but I wasn't able to get him in round 7 because of his heal and my lack of damage. In round 8 I finally took the WIN!
**Spoils of War**
I got 3.695 DEC and my rating increased by 20.
**Did your strategy work?**
My strategy using Crytal Jaguar didn't work against my opponent until the end, because he was smart enough to put the Haunted Spirit at the back. And because of this, the 1 damage of my crystal jaguar that had sneak couldn't do anything. But Overall, my strategy worked because of all the healing and armor from my support monsters, without them I would have lost much from the damage that my opponent's monsters have.
**Do you like the Crystal Jaguar?**
Honestly, I don't use him at all because I only have level 1 summoners. That's what made this challenge really interesting because it made me think of the situation on where to use it. Maybe I'll be able to know its true strength once I begin ranking up in the future.

Chung Chun Rice Corn Dog- SM City Baguio
**Chung Chun Rice Corn DogSM City Baguio**
We were going around SM City Baguio and me and my brother felt hungry. We asked my sister if we could order using her Food Panda application because there are times where you can get discounts when the item that you get is for pick up. We ordered from this place called Chung Chun Rice Corn Dog. So we ordered something using her app and we just had to wait a few minutes before getting it.
**Location**
This place is located on the third floor, in front of one of the cinemas, as you could see before you enter, you have to take your temperature and disinfect it. There were tables available there for dining in
**The Menu**
I just took a screenshot of the different flavors of their rice corn dog that are available on this joint. But they also serve Buckets, Sotteok- Sotteok(Grilled sausages), Mozza Cheese Ball, Cheddar Cheese Ball, Tteok- Bokki, coffee, milk tea, latte, shakes, ice tea, and ade.
**Experience**
I ordered Mozzarella and my brother ordered the Cheddar Cheese. They came in brown paper bags. Me and my brother just decided to go to the terrace to eat our food because there were not many people there.
As soon as I pulled it out from the bag, I started salivating. So after taking a photo I took a bite.
As I bit it, the mozzarella started stretching out making a really great cheese pull. I just love the taste of the breading of the corn dog because it's really unique. It's really crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It really complimented it well.
To be honest, I was wondering where the hot dog was during my first bite, and when I finished the cheese, the hotdog was below it. I really thought that it would be a whole hot dog wherein it would be surrounded by the cheese. But Overall, I really loved this snack. The breading made it a really different experience comparing it to a normal corn dog.

A Walk Around My City
Good Day Guys
Join me in my walk and as I tell you about my day.
For those of you who don't know I already resigned from my job. So today, I had to start doing my employee accountability clearance for me to get all the cash that's being held by the institution. I haven't been here for a long time. I used to work in a hospital. I had to go to the Nursing Service Department to get the clearance form from the hospital. I got to visit my old department and spoke with my colleagues while filling up the form. It's kinda sad to hear that one of my colleagues tested positive lately, I hope that he won't get affected too much by this dreaded virus.
To be honest this step is such a hassle to do because I have to get 17 signatures from the heads of 17 different departments. There's actually something that I'm questioning in my mind and it's why do we have to get the signature of six different head nurses if I'm not from their department? I really wish that their Chief Nurse could sign everything if we're not in the nursing department. Anyway, out of the 17, I was only able to get 7 signatures. The process which sucks is that I have to expose myself to going to the different wards. I actually tried going to 5 nursing departments and only got one signature. In 3 wards the heads were not there and I heard that one is in quarantine and the one in the ER, told me it was too toxic to sign my papers and told me to come back, which kinda sucked but I just have to understand. It's really difficult to get signatures right now because of COVID- 19.
After going up and down the hospital, I went to meet my mom and sister who were at SM City Baguio. Walking this street made me remember my college days. If you see the buildings in front that's the University of Baguio, and that's my alma mater. I remember that I used to have class on the 5th floor of the building on the left side and after that class, I had to run to the 3rd floor of the next building to go to my next class.
This is Assumption road, I had to pass it to be able to get to Session Road. This Road has a lot of establishments and most are food establishments. I remember that I used to go here and look for a place to eat during my lunch break. There's also a computer shop in this place and that's where we used to do our research and play games.
This is the end of Assumption road. This is Session road which is the Central Business District of our City. Did you know that there used to be another Jollibee in that building on the left side, they closed down already and I think we could blame the pandemic. Everything was just uphill after this to be able to go to SM Baguio.
**Proposed Bike Lane**
During Baguio Day which was last September 1 they unveiled something new on top of Session Road. I was there already so I had to check it out. This is their proposal on what they would like to do to the whole stretch of Session Road, which made me thinking if there's enough space to do this. They actually want to make Baguio a bike-friendly place. As you can see they made a Bike lane here.
They actually put these benches wherein they call it "DIBSHI JEN DIBSHO" which means "Free book" in Ibaloi. They are actually promoting take a book, read a book and share a book. I'm surprised that the shelf of this was filled with books. I'm glad that people actually place books inside and not just take.
This was most of the things here, I'm glad that they placed a lot of benches for people to sit on. And it actually looked nice. I hope that they will be able to put more trees on our street and that if ever they would adapt this everything would go smoothly. If you look at the sign of the tree, it says "Smile You're on CCTV". I actually looked thoroughly to look at where the CCTV was and it was on a branch. I wasn't sure if that machine was working because I couldn't see the Temperature of Baguio at that time. You could also see SM City Baguio from here.
**SM City Baguio**
I was finally able to reach my destination and before entering the mall, I had to fill up a form through writing or using a QR code before going inside and they also took my temperature. I remember that there was one point in time that they wouldn't let me go in because my temperature was high, it was high because I had a very long walk and the sun was scorching which got me really tired prior to entering. I was sweating really bad. The guard didn't let me enter so I just stayed outside to cool down, my temperature dropped and eventually made me go inside. I really don't get how accurate is that temperature thing, but I guess we all have to comply.
**SM City Baguio Sky Terraces**
Before meeting my mom and sibling there's a place that I visited and it's the sky terraces. I just love the view from here.
This is the view from here, you could see Burnham park which is on the left side of the photo. Harrison road, the street where the Night market is usually held, Most of the buildings of Session Road, Baguio Cathedral at the right side. And at the back of Baguio Cathedral that was where I was from. You could also see the University of Baguio from here.
When I look at Burnham Park, I'm really happy that there are still a lot of trees, I hope that it would remain this way for a long time. You could see Burnham Lake from here, where you could rent a boat and go boating. The field that's shown is called Melvin Jones, that's where people play some sports. They used to hold concerts there prior to the pandemic.
This is how it looks like on top of the terrace, there are some coffee shops here. The grass that you could see is fake, and that is where people usually sit.
I noticed that there are a lot of people who just stay here and are dating. I also saw a family who was eating while sitting on the grass. There are also real plants here and there's a part where there are fountains. This was actually the best addition to the mall. It's a really nice play to stay at while looking at the view. It's actually relaxing to stay here.
**Around the mall**
This is actually at the other side of the mall, where the main entrance is located. As you can see in the photo, there are a lot of motorcycles parked there. You could already distinguish the Grab riders from the Food Panda riders from the color. I'm glad that the establishment put a parking space there for them to wait while getting the orders.
One unique feature of this mall is that they don't have an air-con and it actually doesn't get as hot inside. On my way to meet my mom and sister, I noticed that the guards here are really strict. They would always remind the people to way their face shields and face masks properly. They even have a microphone to do that. I was finally able to meet my mom and sister and I had to help them with the grocery.
I just want to end it with this photo, I just love what this guys jacket says "BE A WARRIOR NOT A WORRIER". I hope that you enjoyed the post

The Battle

**Round 1**
When I saw the ruleset, I was thinking about who to use, and when I saw an earthquake ruleset,I usually pick Brighton Bloom who would make all your monsters flying but she wasn't available during this match. SO I decided to experiment and use the Earth Splinter. At the start of the round, the skeleton assassin attacked the centauri mage, and the assassin died due to the thorns. My opponent killed my enchanted Pixie before it could do anything. My Centauri Mage attacked his Bone Golem but did not do any damage and its attack reflected back to her so I was the one who lost some HP there. The twisted Jester and Centaur both attacked my centauri mage and they got damaged from the return Fire. The Golems both attacked each other but his bone golem got more damage due to thorns.
**Round 2**
At the start of the round, the Earthquake happened damaging most of our monsters but it came in really handy for me because it left 3 of his monsters with 1 hp and killed of the death elemental. My centauri mage went ahead and attacked the bone golem but its attack still got reflected and she took all the damage. Then the twisted Jester attacked my mage killing it but the jester also died due to the return fire. The centaur attacked the stone golem doing no damage and my stone golem killed the bone golem. Ending the round.
**Round 3**
The earthquake hit killing the centaur and damaging the haunted spirit and stone golem. The haunted spirit wen first and attacked and got damaged by the thorns, then my stone golem took his last jab at it.
**Round 4 and 5**
The earthquake finally killed my stone golem and damaged the haunted spirit. My opponents attacked missed the cocatrice. And at the start of round 5 the earthquake damages the haunted spirit and my cocatrice gave the final blow, giving me the Victory
**Spoils of War**
I got 3.61 DEC and my rating increased by 22.
**Did your strategy work?**
My strategy actually worked. I intentionally picked centauri mage because of the hp that she has, which she could be a tank for the pesky monsters that have sneak on them. By pairing her with Mylor, she was able to kill the skeleton assassin. The return fire also did it's job by damaging the monsters with snipe. But I was also wondering why my opponent didn't use any flying monsters when there's an earthquake rule. Maybe I was against a bot. I think I would have had a difficult time if this had no earthquake ruleset.
**Do you like the Centauri Mage?**
She's actually a nice monster to use but the problem is her cost. I really love the return fire ability because it would damage those monsters with snipe. I also like the fact that her speed is high and her HP is really high. But the only drawback of using her is her damage.

Ang Lechon Manok ni Sr. Pedro
**Ang Lechon Manok ni Sr. Pedro**
Before going to my girlfriend's place, she asked me if I could buy chicken for our dinner. I was supposed to go to Baliwag but when I went there, it was closed. So I saw this place which was beside and decided to get the chicken from here. In their description it says No. 1 in Visayas and Mindanao, I wonder how true this is. I haven't tasted the chicken from here yet, so I was also curious. This was just a small place and if you look at the photo closely you could see their plastic barrier.
They were only serving 2 items and it's their Lechon manok and their Atchara/ Papaya Relish. You could actually watch them prepare the chicken. Nothing beats fresh chicken.
I asked the person in charge to cut it up so we don't have to do it at her place. The chicken was wrapped inside this plastic bag.
This was the chicken, we had to heat it for dinner. I usually eat the white meat of the chicken because that's what my girlfriend doesn't like so that is usually my basis on comparing it with the other lechon manok joints located here in Baguio. It was actually flavorful, and it wasn't that dry which were huge points for me. Because I have tasted chicken where their white meat and was dry as a desert haha. It also came with soy sauce. Overall, it actually good and the chicken is actually cheaper compared to the other famous joints here. It costs 270 Php or that's around 5.32 USD. To be honest I still prefer the chicken of Baliwag.
I just had to insert this guy who usually sits and looks at us while we are usually eating looking for some attention hehe. Hope that you guys have a great weekend ahead!

Missing the Beach
**Caba La Union**
This was taken a few years back when we had to travel to La Union coming from the City of Pines. We had to go there to celebrate a birthday. My relatives rented a beach house to celebrate the occasion and it was like a mini family reunion. If you look at the photo below you could see the banana leaf sheaths drying on the rack. We usually use that as a plate on some occasions.
As we went out of the fence to explore the beach, this was the very first thing that caught my eye, the tree with a lot of plants surrounding it. There was also a net, on the other resort though we didn't see anyone playing here.
The people that you could see are some of my cousins. I looked at the ground there's a lot of trash which was kinda sad to see.
If you were looking closely at the photo above, you could already see that my cousin in the rightmost part was running towards the cow. I was also curious why there was a cow doing on this beach.
We went up close, and I tried petting it. I was expecting the head to be soft because of the hair, but it was really hard. I actually felt bad for this cow because of you look closely he was really thin, you could see that his bones were already prominent. When I was closely looking at this photo, it looked like this cow was giving us a smirk.
My cousin was really playful that time, he even put his socks on its horns. I guess that cow could be an endorser "JUST MOO IT". Don't worry no harm was done to the cow. Later on, we noticed that a calf was approaching the cow.
The calf wasn't that approachable but they looked good together. We then left them alone. That styrofoam is irking me, I really don't know why people don't know how to dispose of their trash properly.
While we were walking around the beach, me and my sibling were able to play tic tac toe, and I was able to win that match because my brother wasn't attentive to where he was placing his move.
As we were walking on the beach, there was a strip of boulders that you have to cross to go to the next side of the beach so we climbed it.
I'm actually wondering why they had to put this, if you look closely there are a lot of strips of boulders.
It looked like this. There's a whole stretch of rocks. I was carefully climbing it because some rocks were unstable and there are a lot of small spaces
This was actually a fun walk despite all the dirt that I've seen. We were able to bond going through places. Though we didn't swim because the water was kinda dirty. Because of what is happening right now, I haven't gone to the beach for a very long time. I hope that I'll be able to go there again soon.

Battle of the Day #01- Axe Master + Explosive Weaponry
**Good day guys!**
I want to share with you my battle against the Kraken. You guy can also check out the strength of the Axe master when there's a rule of Explosive Weaponry.
**Battle information**
The battle mana cap was 24 with the "Explosive Weaponry and Stampede" rules. Me and my opponent were both using the Water splinter.
**Lineup**

Monsters: Torhilo the Frozen, Pirate Captain, Sniping Narwhal, Axe Master, Furious Chicken

Monsters: The Kraken, Spirit Miner, Water Elemental, Albatross, Furious Chicken.
The Battle

**Round 1**
At the start of the round, I was regretting what I used. I was so scared of the Kraken and Spirit Miner. I thought that my opponent would be using more magic damaging enemies. My Axe master was the one who attacked first, and I just love it when there's a ruleset Explosive Weaponry because he damaged the Spirit Miner twice and destroyed the armor of the Kraken. My opponents Water Elemental and Kraken attacked and killed my Pirate Captain due to the blast damage. Then my Sniping Narwhal and Torhilo attacked leaving 1 HP for my opponent's Spirit Miner before the round ended.
**Round 2**
It was round 2 and my Axe master when ahead, so it was able to kill the spirit miner because of the blast. His water elemental and Kraken attacked leaving my Torhilo with 1 HP and killing my Sniping Narwhal before it got to hit. I was really lucky that my Torhilo survived because if it didn't I would have lost the match. Then my Torhilo attacked and killed the Kraken.
**Round 3**
My Axe Master finished all the remaining monsters because of the double attack. He first killed the Water Elemental and Albatross at the same time and killed the Furious Chicken. Thus giving me the Win
**Spoils of War**
I got 7.711 DEC and my rating increased by 22.
**Thoughts on this battle**
Before the battle started, I noticed that my opponent was using Alric Stormbringer but with a lot of magic monsters, so that's when I decided to use Bortus and Torhilo to make the damage of the magic monsters weaker. Doing this helped me against the spirit miner. I also purposely used the Axe master so I could damage his monster twice with the blast. I also used other monsters with snipe, but they had to attack the Kraken, which kinda sucked because I wasn't able to use them to their full potential before they died. I actually would have lost this if my Torhilo died, that monster was super clutch for living from all the attacks. It's really fun to use Axe master when there's the rule explosive weaponry.

Splinterlands Weekly Challenge: Wave Runner
**Good day guys!**
I decided to join the Share your Battle weekly challenge using the **Wave Runner**. I actually placed him at a random game, and I think this was my best win using it.
**Battle information**
The battle mana cap was 40 with the "Noxious Fumes and Heavy hitters rules" rules. I used the water splinter and my opponent used the life splinter.

**Round 1**
On this Battle, I put the Furious Chicken in front as bait, so his SilverShield Knight killed it at the start of the battle. His deck had a faster speed than most of my monsters. So his Feral Spirit damaged my sea monster. His peace bringer attacked Torhilo removing 2 of his armor. Then my Wave Runner was able to destroy the armor of SilverShield Knight because of its skill reach. My opponent Mantoid attacked my cube and the cyclops destroyed the armor of Torhilo. My Torhilo Attacked SilverShield Knight making his HP 2 but the Divine Healer Healed it. Then my sea monster healed himself and my sandworm attacked his cyclops at the end.
**Round 2**
At the start of round 2, all the monsters were being poisoned due to the ruleset, my opponent's cyclops died because of it. His SilverShield Knight went first and attacked Torhilo and then his feral spirit damaged my sea monster. His peace bringer continued attacking Torhilo bringing his HP to 2. My Wave runner killed his SilverShield Knight, reducing the attack of his melee monsters. My opponent Mantoid attacked my cube. Then my Torhilo killed his Feral Spirit and my sandworm killed the mantoid.
**Round 3**
At the start of Round 3, the poison killed my Torhilo and wave runner. His Peacebringer killed my Sandworm so my cube became my tank. Before the round ended, my opponent's Divine Healer healed and my sea monster was healing. This was the round when I realized that I had the wrong placement with my cube and sea monster.
**Round 4 - 8**
At the start of Round 4, his peace bringer Died because of the poison, now it was the battle of the healers. My cube finally died at the start of Round 8 so my sea monster was able to kill his Divine healer. I would have won at an earlier round if my cube and sea monster swapped places.
**Spoils of War**
I got 6.345 DEC and my rating increased by 18.
**Did your strategy work?**
Though I just placed the wave runner randomly on my match, it actually worked. The wave runner was able to do some damage because of its skill reach. When I saw the ruleset Noxious, I was looking for a monster with heal, that's why I decided to use the water splinter because of the sea monster. I also placed a Gelatinous cube because I knew that there were going to be a lot of monsters dying from the poison. I placed the sandworm for extra damage, or to kill something on the first round. The only mistake that I did was the placement of the Cube and the Sea Monster.
**Do you like the Wave Runner?**
After doing this challenge, I've been using the wave runner in my different games now. What I love about it, is its melee and speed, though the problem is its HP. But the skill reach plays a really big role whenever I use this. I actually like the wave runner.

Splinterlands: An Epic Snipe
Good day guys!
Let me share with you one of my battles, where I was able to get an epic snipe killing 3 monsters at once.
**Battle information**
The battle mana cap was 40 with the "Explosive Weaponry and Stampede" rules. I was using a water splinter while my opponent was both using the Fire splinter.

The Battle

**Round 1**
This was my very first time encountering Caladuum, he really looked so taunting wherein I thought I would lose this fight because of all his HP and armor. I was also scared of his lineup. My opponent was using Pyre so all of his monsters had the speed up. Most of his monsters attacked ahead of me, and it was really painful because of the rule of explosive weaponry. I purposely placed the sea monsters behind my tank because of his heal because if I placed a different monster there, it would have probably died from all the blast damage. I also used monsters with a little high hp because I know how painful blast can be. I even thought I would have a lot of casualties due to the blast during this round, but I'm really thankful that only the Ice Pixie died.
Payback came when my Sniping Narwhal sniped the Fire Elemental, thus killing the Serpentine Spyand and Spark Pixies which was beside it. This was the moment that felt so great because it took down 3 monsters with 1 hit. That's when I saw that blast+snipe is a really nice combination. After the other attacks of my monsters, they also took down the Giant Roc.
**Round 2**
During this round I was able to own my opponent, all the flurries of attacks were killing Caladuum and it eventually killed the kobold miner behind it. This scene reminds me of RPGs wherein my team was fighting the final boss, and with teamwork, they won.
**Spoils of War**
I got 6.308 DEC and my rating increased by 42.
**Thoughts on this battle**
This was a really fun matchup, the most epic moment was when my Sniping Narwhal killed my opponent 3 monsters with one hit. I'm also lucky that I chose that right summoner and using Torhilo the Frozen as the Tank. Torhilo is just great with his HP, armor, and magic damage reduction. Because of the attributes of Torhilo, it was able to withstand most of the attacks of the opponent's monster and his role was great in tanking Caladuum. He just acted like a tank with a lot of armor and Magic Defense.

Banh Mi Kitchen- Baguio City Philippines
We were at SM, which is the biggest mall in our City. We had to do some errands. After doing some errands my sister decided to get a Sandwich for herself. She decided to get a sandwich from a stand called Banh Mi Kitchen. This is located at the Food Court.
I was really curious what a Banh Mi was because I never tasted one yet. A Banh Mi is a thin, crisp baguette with a light, airy feel. It is frequently split lengthwise and stuffed with flavorful ingredients.
As you can see they have acrylic barriers and a bottle of alcohol on the counter, this is the new normal for most of the establishments here.
This was their menu. They have 2 different sizes a Junior or a Full. They serve Traditional Banh Mi, which has the flavors, the classic, lemongrass pork, and lemongrass chicken. They Have their BMKN Premium Creation which is a meatless Falafel ad lastly their BMKN Creations which are Wagyu Tapa, Samgyupsal Kmichi, Protein monster, and Spicy Lechon Belly. You could also put add ons but it's kinda pricey. They also serve Vietnamese Coffee.
My sister order a Jr Wagyu Tapa Banh Mi and to make the deal cheaper, she asked my mom to get it for her because my mom could use her senior card to get a discount.
This was how they wrapped the sandwich, it looked like it was wrapped in a news paper.
I asked my sister if I could taste it, so I pulled it out of the bag, as soon as I pulled it out it looked really appetizing and it smelt really good. I then took a photo of it, I had to use the flash because it was dark inside our car.
I took a bite and it tasted really delicious, the meat was really tender and everything was so flavorful. I enjoyed tasting it. The only downside that I can think about this place, it is kinda expensive haha.

**Round 1**
On this Battle, I was really thinking about what splinter to use, when I saw the super sneak rule and noticed that there was no Earth Splinter. I picked the Fire Splinter. I just love using Living Lava as my tank because of the high shield and the reduction. During the First round, We were just removing the Divine shields from each other and we both killed our monsters at the backline. I was already regretting where I put my Ant Miners because despite getting hp from scavenge he got damaged during this round.
**Round 2**
My Ant Miners died and I saw kinda nervous because my opponent utilized the Ant Miners better than me. I love using Serpentine Spy because of its speed and the ability opportunity. Because of him and Kobold Bruiser, I was able to take out his Flame Monkey before it was able to attack. But I noticed that his Ant Miners got 6 hp from all the dead monsters.
**Round 3**
My Serpentine Spy died during this round and my monsters were able to damage the Ant Miner, but it wasn't enough to kill him.
**Round 4**
I was really lucky that my Living lava was able to do its work on the frontline because it was able to take out the Serpentine Soldier, and if you look at my opponent, his ant miners was still alive and doing some damage at the same time, gaining some hp.
**Round 5**
My Cerberus finally took out the Ant Miners. This is where you could see the importance of card placement. My opponent was able to make his Ant Miners survive until this round.
**Round 6 and 7**
My Living Lava was able to survive until these rounds, that's why I love using him as my tank against melee or ranged monsters. I was supposed to win on the sixth round if my Living Lava didn't Miss. So during the last round my Cerberus Finished him off, giving me the WIN.
**Spoils of War**
I got 11.037 DEC and my rating increased by 15.
**Did your strategy work?**
My strategy using Ant Miners didn't work against my opponent, but my opponent was the one who utilized him well.
**Do you like the Ant Miners?**
I actually like using Ant miners when the Mana Cap is low and depending on the rules like melee mayhem and super sneak. I also make it a point that there's no Earth Splinter. I really hate Mylor's Thorns. I would use him depending on the situation. All I can use are level one cards where I couldn't use its full potential. The problem with using Ant Miner's is its speed and hp. Once an opponent has the ability opportunistic, it could become an easy target.

Mang Inasal- Crema De Leche Halo-Halo
We just came from a trip and it was really hot that day, so me and my other family members decided to pass by Mang Inasal which is located at Legarda, Mount Crest Hotel. Luckily there was parking because the parking slots here are usually packed with a lot of cars.
We went there to get dessert and we ended up getting their Crema de Leche Halo-Halo. Before entering the fast-food joint, You have to log in by either filling up a small piece of paper or logging in using a QR code, this is for the health declaration form. We also had to take our temperature before going inside. They are also strict with rules No Faceshield, No Facemask, NO ENTRY.
As soon as we entered this was how their counter looked like. They had huge acrylic sheet panels. This joint is actually known for their Chicken Inasal, where you have a choice to get it with unlimited rice. Then people usually eat their meals flooding them with the chicken oil. They have a lot of Filipino dishes, but we were there for their halo-halo. As we ordered we had to place our payment on that small container.
While waiting for the order, I took a photo of their current setup. As you could see most of their tables are for 1 to 2 persons only. You can't sit with a whole group. And there are markings on the floor to guide you with the flow on where to exit.
The halo- halo were tightly sealed with scotch tape on the covers and they were placed on a drink carrier. I was really excited to go home and eat it.
This is how the Crema de Leche Halo-Halo looks like. It had cuts of sweetened Saba bananas, Macapuno, Ice, milk, and my favorite Leche Flan. The creamy milk is the one that made it really delicious to eat. This is also one of the most refreshing desserts to get whenever it's hot.

To start the month of September I decided to join the Share your Battle weekly challenge using the Grumpy Dwarf. I was looking for a way on how to incorporate in a team one of my matches. To be honest, after a month of playing this game. This was my first time using him in an actual battle.
**Battle information**
The battle mana cap was 29 with the "Standard" rule. I used the water splinter against my opponent and my opponent used the life splinter.

The Battle

**Round 1**
One thing that I love about using Alric Stormbringer is the +1 to Magic attack on your monsters so I take advantage of that and used monsters that produce magic attacks and paired them up with the Grumpy Dwarf. I had a huge advantage at the start because the magic attacks went through the shield of the shieldbearer killing him in the first round.
**Round 2**
Early in the round, my Captain's Ghost died because of the two sneak attacks coming from Elven Cutthroat, and Feral Spirit. My tank also died due to the attack of the Luminous Eagle. But the Coral Wraith took revenge on the Feral Spirit and killed it. I'm still new to used Coral Wraith because this was my first time renting him from the marketplace. I noticed that the Sneak attack gives a great advantage on picking the enemies from behind. The round ended having the Grumpy Dwarf as my tank.
**Round 3**
My Ice Pixie started the round by killing the Luminous Eagle. The Elven Cutthroat killed the Coral Wraith
**Round 4**
This is round where I was nervous because my monsters are dying from behind because of the sneak attacks. This round also had a very clutch move by the Grumpy Dwarf because he was able to tank the damage from the Silvershield Knight because of the armor. If that didn't happen I would have lost. The Elven Mystic Finished of the Silvershield Knight. After this Round, I knew that I won the game.
**Round 5**
The Elven Mystic Finished her off. Making me Victorious.
**Spoils of War**
I got 10. 754 DEC and my rating increased by 38.
**Did your strategy work?**
My strategy worked because I supported the Grumpy Dwarf with mostly Magic Attackers, though he came in clutch with the shield on round 4. I was also at an advantage in this fight because he was using the Light Splinter because his armor was useless against the flurry of Magic attacks.
**Do you like the Grumpy Dwarf?**
To be honest, I don't really use him because there are better cards that you can use to make a stronger combo. But I love the fact that you get challenged in forming a deck and strategy on trying to win a fight using the themed card.

Let me share with you my latest haul
The keyboard of my girlfriend broke so I wanted to surprise her with a new keyboard for her birthday. She needed this for work because she works from home. She has been using membrane switches in her past keyboards so I decided to look for a mechanical keyboard.
I was searching some shops here in our mall but the keyboards were expensive so I decided to check online if I could find one. This keyboard costs 2,899 PHP(58.40 USD). I was skeptical why was it so cheap compared to the official Logitech store where they were selling this keyboard for 4990 Php(100.52) which was almost double the price. I checked the reviews of the seller and the item and it seemed legit. So I took a chance on ordering this keyboard. After all the vouchers applied, I was able to get it for 2436 Php(49.07 USD). The order came after 10 days. I kinda felt bad for the motorcycle driver who gave me the order because he really wanted to deliver my item first because it was the biggest one in his bag. It came sealed with plastic and a box
Inside the box, there was a thick covering of bubble wrap and tape tightly sealing it. After removing the tape and bubble wrap. I noticed that There were a few dents on the box, especially on the sides. I opened it and I was wondering, why the heck was the keyboard upside down. But I guess that's how the box was built.
I pulled out all the items inside the keyboard and it came with a keycap puller and faceted keycaps. I think those keycaps are for the gamers. I was wondering why was there 2 USB cables. I noticed that at the back of the keyboard there was a USB passthrough. where you could connect to another device. Though something that I hate about it was it take 2 slot on a USB wherein you have to have a hub to be able to use it on a laptop.
I was really excited to test it out. As soon as it plugged it in, it lit up. I immediately went to this website where you could test the keyboard if all the keys are working. I also made sure that there were no defects. https://www.keyboardtester.com/tester.html
I really loved the design of it and it's a heavy keyboard. When you feel it you would see how sturdy it is. I love the aluminum-magnesium alloy plate on top that makes it feel like a premium keyboard.
I gave it to my girlfriend and she loved it. She said that it felt a lot better to type in this kind of keyboard compared to her previous keyboards. Thus I can conclude that this keyboard was a steal.

Let me share with you guys how useful Torhilo the Frozen is when you pair him with the summoner Bortus.
I noticed that my opponent uses Alric Stormbringer in his last few matches and used magic monsters. It was a low-cost battle so I decided to put Torhilo The Frozen as my tank and paired him up with the Pirate Archer and Pirate Captain. One thing that I love about the Pirate Archer is its blast. This strategy worked really well against my opponent because his magic monsters dealt 0 damage to Torhilo. Making me win the match.
I noticed that I win 10-15 Dec per battle depending on if I have a gold foil card. But I'm really happy that my SPS and DEC are stacking up.

Let me share with you one of my battles
**Rules**
Reverse Speed: Where Monster with the Lowest speed attack first and have the higher chance of evading attacks.
Equalizer: The health of all monsters is equal to the highest base health
Only Earth and Life are active with a mana cap of 50
I decided to go all out with the Goblin Mech in front and used the Shieldbearer as my tank. I had an armorsmith to help repair the shield of my monster that has taken the most damage.
This was my first time facing someone with Scarred Llama Mage's and I was surprised with the summoners buff to the monsters. My opponent had a Gold level 3 Flesh Golem and a Gold Cornealus. I really thought that I was going to lose this battle. My monsters with the sniper did a great job killing their healer and my sandworm went on a rampage.
Going towards the end was the scary part because of the last stand of the Flesh Golem, but my armorsmith came in clutch to defend my Goblin Mech in the end, while the sandworm and Goblin Mech killed that beast that heals.

**Chowking**
Chowking is a fast food restaurant that serves Chinese cuisine. They are part of Jollibee Foods Corporation(JFC)
We decided that we would get dinner from their branch from Burnham Park. Before entering the establishment, you have to sign in your name for contact tracing purposes, it also had an alcohol dispenser, a temperature taker, and a huge sign that says No Facemask, No Face shield no ENTRY. As soon as you enter you would see all the markings on the floors showing how far you should distance yourself from the people before ordering.
We usually don't dine in already so we had it for take out. They placed our orders in a tightly sealed paper bag.
This was what we ordered. We got Yang Chow which was fried rice. It had egg, carrots, Chinese sausage, onions and they topped it off with shrimp. We were actually surprised that they placed a lot of shrimps because they don't usually do that.
To pair the rice we got Fried Chicken. Their Chinese-style Fried chicken serving portions were huge and when we requested for Thighs, they actually gave it. Some fast-food chains here in our city say that there are no thigh parts already just to sell the other parts of the chicken which is kinda sad.
Their Fried chicken came with a huge cup of gravy. I really like how they prepared the chicken because it was really juicy and the skin was really crispy. Both the rice and the chicken were flavorful.
There's always room for dessert, so we got their choco pao. This was a steamed bun with chocolate.
As soon as you bite through it, you would tase the chocolate filling inside. I totally enjoyed my dinner during that time.

Happy Hump Day
**Good Day Guys**
Let me share with you what happened during my day. I had to wake up early to treat my grandpa because of the pain that he's feeling in his low back, I was teaching him some exercises that he could do. After treatment, I went outside of the house and enjoyed looking at the sky. It just feels so relaxing looking at that view in the morning because it usually rains during the afternoon.
When I got down, I continued using my laptop and played some games. When I was about to go out of the house. I saw our cat named Yoda staring at a cat outside of the window. When I went closer it was his Father. It looked like he was looking at a mirror. I really like Fracture because he's a really kind cat. Whenever you go near him, he would rub himself to you and if you sit on a chair he would go to your lap and sleep there, though the only downfall is that he's dirty.
I went to my grandma's pond to check on it. The fish are still alive and the Water Lily is growing, I wonder when it will produce another flower.
I went to the garden and checked the banana trees. I saw that it had 3 hands of bananas. can you spot them? I want to harvest them soon.
Before leaving the house, I took a photo of this Alstroemeria in the garden. Haven't seen these flowers for a very long time. It just popped out of nowhere.
I went to my girlfriend's place and parked. I noticed that this soil is really loose because of the rain. I used to park there but, I don't park beside it because it might suddenly collapse and the concrete might slide off and hit the car. I hope that their neighbor will be able to remove this mound soon.
One thing that I can't get enough of whenever I visit her place is this guy named Kylo. He's still a puppy who's really active. Whenever I enter their place he would be so excited. I don't know why but his face reminds me of an old man. He just makes a really adorable face when he sits and looks at you.
After spending time with my girlfriend and Kylo, I went home. It was feeding day for my tarantula. So I went through my cockroach bin and had to look for a nymph. I got the nymph and placed it at the entrance of the tarantula.
After a few seconds, it took down the cockroach and brought it inside. If you look closely at the hole to the left you could see the tarantula and the cockroach. It's really cool to look at the webbing of the tarantula right now because it's really thick. I can't wait for it to grow.

My Last Battle
**Good Day Guys**
I'm still new to this game but let me share with you the last battle that I had before I went to sleep.
The category rules of this match were Unprotected and Keep Your Distance with a mana cost of 18
I chose to use Alric Stormbringer as my summoner for the +1 magic attack. I don't know why but he has been really convenient for me as a newbie.
Round 1
My opponent was using Daria Dragonscale as the summoner which was a bit weird because of the rule of Keep your distance. I strategically put the Furious Chicken in front as bait. It acted as a decoy for the Goblin Chariot to hit. My 3 magic attackers were able to destroy the Naga Brute. Making my Gelatinous Cube gain 8 HP. That's where I saw hope that I would win this.
Round 2
My cards were able to kill the Divine Healer and Damage the Goblin Chariot.
Round 3

What I love about this game is that it makes me think of a strategy when there are rules. I still have a lot to learn regarding this game. I've been renting from the market to help me win some of my games. My only regret is that I didn't start this when I've been hearing about it years ago.

Happy Caturday ft Yoda
**Good Day Guys**
It's that day of the week which is really fun to post about. **HAPPY CATURDAY!**
I went outside of my room and spotted Yoda, on the couch. He was with my brother who was lying down. It's really funny cause I caught him trying to hump my brother's sock. I really don't know why but whenever he's on heat and we move our feet when we are in socks he would meow and try to latch onto our sock. He would bite it and fix his paws on our legs. Sometimes the bite will affect our skin where you would feel it sometimes but the most painful part is his paws, especially if we were not able to cut his nails.
Just look at his claws popping out on the photo below.
There's something that I envy from this cat and it's the way he sleeps. Whenever I see him, he is usually on a soft surface dead asleep. He would only wake up when he's hungry or when he's scouting the other cats outside. One thing that we love about him is that he doesn't try to steal food from our table whenever he's hungry. He would just go to you, rub himself, and meow really loud. And if you ask him if he's hungry he would respond with a meow and lead you to his bowl. After leading you to his bowl, he would sit and wait for you to give him food.
Believe it or not, his best friend is a dog. These two are really fun to watch whenever they are bonding. Though, you would also see them sleeping together most of the time. Whenever it's playtime, they would chase each other around the house.

Two tails - Baguio City Philippines
I had to go to this pet shop while waiting for my mom and siblings to pick me up because we were running out of cat litter. I was really amused by this shop because it was really spacious and organized. Before entering the shop, I had to log in my details, take my temperature and sanitize my hands.
They have most of the things here in this shop and I noticed that the food there was cheap, I still had cat and dog food so I didn't bother buying any. Most of the things that you need for a pet was there, from toys, pet accessories, treats, shampoo, litter, vitamins and etc. I actually took long, looking through this shop because I got distracted looking for things that I could buy.
Here's what I ended up buying, I got some treats for my girlfriend's dog because he has been crazy lately where he would chew everything that he would see. This was to distract him.
This poop monster was the guy who needed those sticks. His name is Kylo and his half poodle and half Shih tzu. He's an obedient dog whenever there are treats but he's really crazy and wild.
This was the litter that I got for our cat. I'm not sure how effective is it compared to meowtech. I shall update you guys one time.
This is the king who uses the litter. Though there are times when he's really naughty. He would go inside my room and just pee at random places. What I really hate about his pee is the smell. It has a really distinct smell so I could differentiate it with our dogs.
