Good Day guys!
SESSION ROAD, BAGUIO CITY PHILIPPINES
Let me share with you how Session road looks like after 7 pm. Session road is in the very heart of Baguio City. This is where the Central Business District is located.
After going to work, I had to meet my mom who offered to bring me home. She told me that she needed to go to the drugstore and buy some medicine, so she told me to meet her at Session road. Coming from SLU hospital, you would pass this road called Assumption road. The buildings at the right side is a University called University of Baguio and that's where I graduated.
I had to cross and
this place is still part of Assumption road and at the bottom of if is Session Road. It was really empty. During the Pre pandemic days, there would be a lot of people walking down going to session road, buy some items in the establishments in the right and there I also experience seeing a lot of drunk people walking in this street because there are some bars located in this street.
This is session road, as you can see there are barely any people walking around.
While I was walking I noticed that most of the business establishments were closed or were closing already. Our Government also made a flow while walking at Session road on side is for going up and the other side is for going down.
Wherein they painted arrows at the ground guiding us on where to walk. They are really strict especially when it's daytime because there are enforcers watching. But I guess this scheme is really important so you won't be people walking against you.
This Pandemic really took a toll on our City. I really never expected Session road to be this quiet at 7pm. It was like a ghost town. I actually miss eating out in the restaurants that are located here. Looking at peoples expressions on their face without face masks. It's really sad to see that it isn't as lively as before.
Here are some photos that I took before the Pandemic. This was how lively Session road was. You could see how crowded it is especially when they close the roads for vehicles. I really miss the good old days. I just hope that this will end soon and that we may be able to live our normal lives again.
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!

What a difference. Before the pandemic there were so many people on the streets and now the streets are deserted.
