Breathtaking view from Tuding, Itogon Benguet Good day guys! **TUDING ITOGON BENGUET** Let me show you my experience looking at the breathtaking view from one of my patient's house located at Tuding, Itogon Benguet. According to this site Itogon is popularly known as a "gold haven". There are numerous mines located in this mountainous area. http://itogon.gov.ph/index.php/general-information/history
I had a patient who suffered from a stroke. I used to go to their house for rehabilitation. After our treatment session. They were showing me the view and pointing towards some places. If you looks closely at those houses, that place is called lower Mangga. They also have a house there, they were also pointing at it when they were showing me. I remember that I used to go there during her first Therapy sessions because she couldn't stand yet. Though at this point, she's already Independent and she can already walk.
They also had a view of the destruction that Typhoon Mangkhut/Ompong brought. Here are some facts about Typhoon Mangkhut that I gathered from this website, Typhoon Mangkhut/ Ompong, was categorized as one of the strongest typhoons last 2018. It impacted more than 5.7 Million people in the Philippines because of the flooding and mudslides. If you look at the photos below, that was one of the major landslide that happened at Sitio 070, Barangay UCAB. Around a 100 people died from that incident. https://www.globalgiving.org/learn/listicle/typhoon-mangkhut-fast-facts/
Here are some photos from the back of their house. As you can see there were a lot of landslides that happened. I think that one thing that contributed to all these landslides were all the illegal small-scale mining operations that were happening in this areas. It's really sad to look at what happened to it. I guess if we really abuse nature it would really get back at us.
Here's a photo from the front of their house. You can see the other mountain ranges of Itogon. It made me wonder which mountains were safe to climb there.
The view from their place was really nice. The cloud formation makes it look so lively. Imagine waking up everyday and looking at this breathtaking views.

Yes, I really agree with you. They have a perfect view from their house. I really hope so too, We should also try our best to protect mother nature. Yeah, I think that's also a factor that contributed to this incident. Thank you so much for dropping by and stay safe always!
