Today we are super hooked with the blooms and fructifications, this photo of this beautiful Bell Pepper plant is perfect to indicate this cycle in this vegetable; first we have the flower that is white and hermaphrodite, since both the stamens and the pistil are in the same flower.
Once the pollination has taken place, the fruit begins to come out from the center of the flower, the petals dry until they come off the plant, being able to see some traces of the flower in the fruit in formation, as in this case.
If we look at the fruit, we will notice that curious red beard that it has on its back, that is precisely part of the flower that gave rise to this beautiful fruit. From now on we only have to wait for the fruit to gain size, if we are in a hurry to savor it we can harvest it green; but when the fruit begins to ripen (to change color), we know that it will no longer grow and that from that point on we can harvest it.
