Retomando mis raíces Panaderas
Ayer estuve retomando las raíces Panaderas de mi familia y es que me dió un antojo de comer Galletas de Jengibre. Esta es una receta que mi esposa y yo hemos venido perfeccionando desde hace un tiempo buscando lograr el equilibrio perfecto entre lo dulce, la textura y el sabor mentolado del jengibre.
Con mi esposa he aprendido mucho a cocinar y esta vez me motivé a preparar la mezcla y elaborar las galletas yo solito.
Les adelanto que me quedaron muy sabrosas y que la sensación de hacer algo por uno mismo es muy gratificante. No es la primera vez que preparamos estás galletas en casa, pero si es la primera vez que yo las elaboró sólo; pues siempre mi esposa me tiene que ayudar, y por "ayudar" me refiero concretamente a corregir mis desastres.
Pero está vez fué diferente, no hubo desastres que corregir; sin embargo conté con su guía y apoyo en todo en proceso.
Mientras hacía las galletas recordé las historias que me contaba mi abuela sobre mi bisabuelo, pues el tuvo una panadería en la que, entre otras cosas, se elaboraban dulces.
Mi bisabuelo se llama Francisco Afonso, pero todo el mundo en Santa Cruz de Tenerife lo conocía como Paco Parranda porque también era músico. Para quienes no lo saben la ciudad de Santa Cruz de Tenerife está ubicada en la Isla de Tenerife, perteneciente al Archipiélago de Canarias; actualmente una de las comunidades autónomas que conforman España.
Recordé también que en colegio varios compañeros me decían "panadero" porque creían que yo era de ascendencia portuguesa y supongo que pensaban que mis padres tenían una panadería. Aunque todo eso está muy lejos de la verdad, pues ni mi abuela, ni ninguno de sus hermanos, ni mis padres continuaron con la panadería. De hecho, al mi bisabuelo emigrar a Venezuela, él tampoco continúo aquí ese oficio.
Así que me siento orgulloso que 4 generaciones después y al otro lado del mar, yo haya podido reconectar con mis raíces, y ahora esté elaborando junto con mi amada esposa estás sabrosas y saludables galletas caseras.
Quiero aprovechar para aclarar que todo esto lo hacemos en casa para nuestro propio disfrute, estas galletas no forman parte de mis actividades comerciales. Sin embargo, nuestra cocina si se relaciona con mi Proyecto Audiovisual; pues una vez que perfeccionamos estas recetas hacemos vídeos para nuestro canal de YouTube.
Igualmente, me gustaría aclarar que esto no iba a ser documentado, pero mientras hacía las galletas mi esposa trajo el celular a la cocina y comenzó a tomarme fotos; y como le quedaron muy bonitas me motivé a hacer está publicación.

After watching the exciting fourth season (and waiting for the fifth) I made the decision to pay homage to this amazing series through my Art work with the NFTs, and that's why I created this collection.
Each of the avatars that this collection will include is a unique piece, since of each one only a single edition will be minted, in addition each character will only be presented once and with a single style in the collection; so you won't see an avatar based on the same character twice.
This rule will only have a single exception with Eleven, who will be introduced with short hair like at the end of the fourth season, and then I will coin another version (where I will mention her as Jane Hopper), in which she will be introduced with long hair like in the third season, when she was living with Jim.

My main goal in creating this collection is to react to a series that I really liked and enjoyed a lot, as well as to give fans of Stranger Things a fun and independent collection that they can access without spending a lot of money.
To create this collection I chose the Polygon Blockchain for its very low commissions, which will allow me to mint all the avatars in the collection without having to wait to sell the first ones and then reinvest in minting the others.
The market I chose to mint is Refinable, I have used it many times before and it has always given me excellent results when it comes to minting NFTs and creating collections in Polygon. It is also a market in which I have done very well selling my works, so I am constantly minting pieces or creating collections there.

The logo I created for the collection paraphrases (in homage, of course) the mythical original logo of the series. also a simplified version of this logo was included in each of the avatars, on the top right side of each image, except for Dustin's avatar (my favorite, I have to admit) where I included the logo on the cap.
To create these pieces I used an application to create avatars (that's why I say they are "generative" at the beginning), this application was really intended to make avatars in the anime style but after trying several others, I decided to keep this one because it is the one that best it suited my vision.
Later I applied filters and various retouches to the images to further adapt them to my vision and style; Well, I love drawing textures (in this case, you apply them to backgrounds and characters) and I love playing with colors (brightness and saturation).

At the same time it's a way to give my Collectors something different, exercise my skills, learn new techniques and also attract new collectors to my NFTs.

The Spider Cave - Animated NFT Art
*The first human beings believed that the world ended behind the mountains, when they thundered they thought that the sky would fall on them and they painted animals on the walls of their caves so that the next day they would be there again.*
*Fear and superstition have always been with us, and with them comes anger; an animal that fears attacks, an ignorant being damages everything that he does not know and a frightened being just hides in his cave and attacks anyone who dares to enter.*
The dawn of humanity was quite dark; people could die under the age of 35 from a dental infection, they had a very limited conception of their environment and it was difficult to keep the peace since anything or event could be the subject of dispute.

In this work we make a journey of thousands of years into the past, we are going to enter a cave and there we are going to meet those primitive human beings who little by little are going to make their presence known. But this presence is not going to be complete, since they do not face us but we only see their eyes; red and furious eyes, eyes that express the angry attitude of an ignorant animal that launches itself to attack what it does not understand.
Beyond hindsight, what I mean to say is that there are chapters in the history of humanity (contemporary and non-contemporary) that show us that many humans never left the cave of reality and continue to attack or hurt everything they do not understand, for plain ignorance.
The Spider Cave is a critique of all humanity and at the same time it is a profound reflection on why some members of our species behave in the reprehensible way they do.
The title is due to a gallery of caves found in Spain, where valuable cave paintings were found that allowed us to better understand primitive humanity.

Altered Carbon (Review)
Hello my dear people, I am going to dedicate today's post to a review of Altered Carbon, one of the series that I have recently seen on Netflix and that is among my favorites.
For those who haven't seen it yet, Altered Carbon is set in a futuristic world where the perpetuity of human consciousness is made possible by cloning technology and computing.
In this series we are presented with a humanity that has traveled the universe, colonized several planets and where, in addition, each being that is born is implanted with a super advanced memory chip that is capable of storing all the data of its life, as well as their ideas, thoughts and personality.
These incredible chips are known in the series as Cortical Stacks and are implanted in the back of the neck, when a person dies it is possible to bring them back to life by inserting the stack into another body.
The bodies are known as sleeves and a cortical stack can be implanted in any body, however people who have used different sleeves to live tend to suffer from multiple personality disorders.
Despite how wonderful all of this sounds, the series presents a very dark atmosphere at all times, since what would clearly seem like a blessing has been perverted by humanity, as Takeshi Kovacs (the main character in the series) often says.
Altered Carbon is not one of those light series where if you miss a dialogue or stop paying attention for 5 minutes, nothing happens, on the contrary, the plot demands a lot from the viewer because it is extremely rich and dynamic.
Starting with the fact that the first season begins by telling Takeshi's story in two different times, first showing how Takeshi dies in his first life and then his resurrection in another body some 250 years in the future.
Before watching a series like this I would recommend having seen other lighter science fiction series, otherwise it would be very difficult to understand Altered Carbon. One of the details that can confuse the viewer a lot at first is that Takeshi Kovacs is played by two actors: Will Yun Lee, who plays Takeshi in his original sleeve (the body he was born with), and Joel Kinnaman who plays the reincarnated Takeshi; 250 years in the future after the death of his first slevee.
This type of series is perfectly recommended for the viewer experiencing science fiction who expects a rich and complex plot.
It is also a series full of reflections and approaches about what would happen if humanity achieved immortality, and it also states that no matter how much we advance as a species, we never leave behind our bad passions, our greed or our pyramidal social system.
It should also be said that this is a series loaded with scenes of action, sex and a lot of emotion. At a plot level, it didn't seem as intense as The 100, but Altered Carbon's script does have the power to hook the viewer and keep him interested in front of the screen.
The first season of the series takes place on earth, however we will see many memories of Takeshi in Harlan, his home planet.
The second and final season takes place in Harlan 30 years after the conclusion of the first, and here of course we will see a very different Harlan from the one Takeshi knew.
For this second season we will have to get used to another change, since Takeshi will change his sleeve again and this time he is played by Anthony Mackie.
If you haven't seen this series yet, it's time to look for it on Netflix and enjoy its two seasons. I watched the two seasons in a row, every night I watched between 2 and 3 episodes because the series really managed to catch me.
The Widow's Rock - Dramatic NFT Art
Textures are the pattern of lines that make up things and that contain the colors in the shapes so that none of them get out of place. I love textures and that is why I like rough, irregular and restless things where shapes are not symmetrical and where nature makes its own compositions.
I am fascinated by large, pointed rocks because they are a park of textures, and I also love seeing how the waves of the sea break on the shores and the foam dances restlessly on the stones.
I am not a sailor nor have I ever been, I have never lived in a coastal city nor have I had close relatives who are fishermen or members of the navy, but I have always loved the sea.
I see it as a restless system that is always in motion and I identify with it because that is how my mind is; I think of many things at the same time, I develop ideas and without finishing them I am already thinking of something else. On other occasions I have defined myself as a restless person, and analyzing myself deeply I recognize that I am, and that is why I think I like the sea so much.
At the same time I love the textures that the sea forms with its restlessness (it inspires me to create) and when I process the images I still hear the sound of the waves breaking on the coast.
I also love high contrast, when I process my images I love to experiment with settings and create drama through contrast and highlights.
In some cases (as long as the image allows it) I like to force the contrast to very high values between 80 and 100. By doing this the light behind things shines and creates a flare that borders the shapes just as it happened with the rock that gives the title to my work.
This place is not a product of my imagination, it really exists and it is located on the outskirts of the city of La Guaira in Venezuela. I don't know if this place has a name but I name it as the widow's rock because on the top of this rock there is a floral decoration that seems to have been put there to commemorate someone.
Perhaps to one of the deceased of the Vargas Tragedy that occurred in 1999, or perhaps to commemorate a sailor who was lost at sea. The fact is that when I saw this I put my imagination to flight and I remembered the women who lose their husbands at sea, additionally the pelican perched below the ornament became a powerful casual dramatic element.

I don't usually sell my works for high prices (even though I often mint single editions) because I want my art to be accessible and able to be acquired by those who like it without my collector's financial status being an issue.
Apart from making very varied works for all tastes, I also do them for all pockets. In my opinion this is the best way to bring your art to people; allowing everyone to participate and invest in your work and projects from very low amounts that do not discriminate against anyone.
Angry Charizard - Pokemon NFT Art
*Charizard can be quite a misunderstood Pokémon, usually looking like it's furious but this is how it usually expresses its power; Many years ago (at the time of the Red Version) I took Charizard as a companion and I never regretted it because it is a great Pokémon.*

I remember that Pokemon started when I was in 4th grade of elementary school and I was about 10 years old, this year I'm going to be 33, so almost 16 years since I graduated from high school and surprisingly Pokemon still exists.
Unquestionably Pokemon is already part of the life of several human generations and obviously that filters into our culture. It has inevitably influenced and inspired me to create Art, and yesterday I created a piece of Pop Art dedicated to Charizard; a Pokemon from the first generation and with which I have many memories.
You see when I played the first versions of Pokemon that came out for the Game Boy Color, I had the red version and I chose Charmander as my adventure partner; I trained him, loved him and leveled him up until he became a powerful Charizard that helped me win the Pokemon League and be a Champion.
That's why in the text I composed to describe the work I sign with my own name and describe myself as a Retired Pokemon Trainer, because I haven't played Pokemon for a while, although I've been playing Pokemon Unite for several months, but that's another story.
As in most of the works that I have shared on my blog, this one had as its origin (base canvas) one of my photographs. In this case I took a close up portrait of a Charizard collectible figure, which was one of the last toys my dad gave me before I became a teenager.
So apart from the affection I have for Charizard as a Pokemon, this toy is also quite special to me because it brings back memories of the last stage of my happy childhood.

This piece is part of a series that is completely dedicated to cryptocurrencies and the objective is to represent each one (or at least a good part) of the cryptocurrencies that exist in this way. Obviously I have decided to start with my favorites and the most iconic; therefore our beloved Hive could not be left behind.
Here I want to add that the way in which the work is represented has a whole symbolism behind it, which of course is part of the concepts that I have already explained previously. However, before describing this, I would like to show how the process of making the work went step by step.
****The Process:****
To begin to describe the process of making this work, I have to say that on an artistic and technical level I am very proud of the fact that I have harmonically combined 3 disciplines: photography, photo retouching and digital art. I feel that each of these disciplines made a fair contribution to the work and you will tell me if you agree with me.
****Step 1:****
This is the skeleton of my work, the photograph of a hand on a black background, Mariana (my life partner, wife and model) is the owner of this beautiful hand. Obviously it's nothing special and that's the beautiful magic of the artistic process; take something ordinary to transform it into something extraordinary.
****Step 2:****
This is where the photo retouching came in, which I did digitally using Photoshop. The process here consisted of texturing the image to give it a drawing aspect, which also allowed me to highlight the expressive lines of Mariana's hand.
Additionally I adjusted the contrast (I love high contrast, I use it most of the time) and also saturated the colors a bit. I also added a white glow that borders the entire hand.
****Step 3:****
From here begins the turn of digital art, first I created a circle that I filled with red tones; the first darker and similar to the tone of the Hive logo, and the second lighter, almost reaching white.
I gave the circle some opacity because it is not a simple circle but a glass sphere, almost ethereal, that contains the Hive logo inside.
At this point the circle is a long way from looking like that ethereal ball, but after adding textures, edges and glows to both the circle and the logo we get to the end result where Hive is held in one hand.
****The Symbolism:****
Now that I have shown you how I made the work, as well as the disciplines and elements I used, it is time to explain the meaning of each one:
The cryptocurrency is held in the hand to symbolize the access and freedom that Hive offers us. When I talk about access I mean all the opportunities that the Hive ecosystem has given us; both to the authors that we have been rewarded for our publications, and to the possibility of accessing NFT games like Rising Star (I love it) and also to the access that this ecosystem gives us for the creation and collection of NFTs, and of course to the enormous exchange system between Tokens (Hive Engine and Tribaldex).
When I refer to freedom I mean that Hive has no borders or major limitations, we are all welcome here to participate in this economy as long as our intentions are good, we can also send and receive money to / or from anywhere in the world in a blink and without paying commissions. This for me is the maximum expression of financial freedom.
That's what the hand holding Hive symbolizes, now with respect to the circle; I chose the spherical shape because when we say currency we think of a circle, because that is how we have always known them. We even usually represent cryptocurrency logos as circles where the logo is contained, so the spherical shape was definitely the best option.
But now one can only wonder: why does this crystalline sphere have to look so ethereal? Well simple; cryptocurrencies are digital and there is no way to see or touch them in the physical world, so it seems to me that their artistic representation must be ethereal and even a little poetic.
In fact, the hand itself does not hold the cryptocurrency, but rather the cryptocurrency delicately levitates above the hand. To me this is the interpretation of what holding a cryptocurrency should look like; although you cannot touch it with your hands, you have it and it is yours.

Galactic Dog
I believe that the work of an Artist is to find beauty everywhere, those of us who were born to create have the ability to expand our sensory experiences and act as a filter through which reality passes to become the transcendence of a moment into something sublime.
The artist is always at least two steps ahead of reality and his eyes are not normal, but rather augmented reality viewers that allow him to see in things and in everyday life what others cannot see.
My work comes from reality, because my canvas is my photographs, I work on them and mold them as if they were clay to express my own proposals.
Since the end of my adolescence I have become fond of photography and by transforming my photos in this way into pieces of visual art, I feel that I give them the opportunity to transcend.
I constantly capture in my images what interests me and what I love, I constantly take photos of my little furry daughters, which is why it is common in my collections to come across pieces like this.
Galactic Dog stars my beautiful dog Barbara, she is very restless and difficult to photograph, to achieve the photograph that was the basis of this piece I photographed her after having played ball with her, since after so much exercise she lay down to rest and it was the perfect opportunity to capture his image.
Then apply two filters; one paw to give it the spacey look of it and the other to give it a slight glow. Additionally I applied tweaks to enhance some colors and adjust brightness and contrast.
The result left me super happy and very pleased, I am constantly working on pieces like this and I am constantly taking photographs, which I then work on to create more pieces of visual art.
Lost in the Void - My Debut in NFTShowroom

With these simple words I begin to describe what my first Crypto Art minted in NFTShowroom is about. Also this piece is the opening of my New Collection "Visual Universe" that will include a series of conceptual works where I will capture some of my opinions, thoughts and ideas, and where I will also express the beauty of all those things that are of my highest interest.
I have decided to start with the theme of space and space exploration because I recently finished watching "The Expanse", which in my opinion is the best science fiction series I have ever seen and which has left me with many reflections that keep going through me mind.
It is a digital work achieved by manipulating a photograph of my own authorship, in which I used a toy and a white background.
The protagonist of this work is not the astronaut but loneliness; and it is that beyond the magnificence of being able to see the glaciers and the deserts at the same time, or see any other world in all its splendor, being in space and contemplating the enormous void between the celestial bodies must be really terrifying, cold and lonely .
I also think that if any of us could go to space and spend at least a couple of hours floating in a vacuum with nothing to look at but a black background adorned by just a few distant points of light, and also knowing that what keeps us alive it's a little oxygen stored in a space suit; we could understand two things:
The first is how fragile we are as a living species and the second is that in the entire solar system there is no other world that can house us but this earth that our species has mistreated so much. If any human being could spend about two hours suspended in a vacuum, I believe that the majority of humanity would not treat their only home in this universe so badly.
That is what I basically wanted to express in this work, that's why I chose to use so many blue tones to give a nice cold touch to the image. I also used green and purple tones for the costume, because these are also cold colors that give a range of variety to the work but without immersing the viewer in a cold and very lonely atmosphere.
The green tones are phosphorescent and allow us to appreciate the only light that our astronaut interned in the void can cling to. As the title of the work indicates, the astronaut is lost in a vacuum; symbolizing that the desire to go beyond the stars will lead the human being to lose himself in a range of scenaries where he was not made to live.
The reflection I make here is that although space exploration is and will be unstoppable by our desire to know and go where we have never gone, humanity cannot and should not forget that we only have one world to live in and that exploring space must to be to learn and to know, but it should not be a desperate solution for the survival of our species, since the problems that we have caused to this world still have a solution in this world.
The work is presented in high contrast with the intention of highlighting the astronaut and adding more drama. The original resolution is 5184 × 3456 pixels and I have only coined 1 single edition, since I believe that art should be unique and therefore 1 work should have only 1 owner (at least that is my vision).
Its sale price is 15 Hive and I'm looking to reach people, that's why I want my pieces to have very affordable prices that allow me to recover the investment of the coinage, reinvest in publishing new art and earn some money to continue working, without that this means putting the piece out of the reach of most people.

Impossible Atmospheres - NFT Collection
Hello my dear people, this time I have been working on the 52 pieces that will make up the "Impossible Atmospheres" Collection and I will dedicate this post to present the collection and show you the first 10 works that I have minted and published:
The first thing I have to say is that when you view the works that make up this collection you will be taken to an ethereal, unreal and incredible world, where you will witness a vibrant concert of shapes and colors, in the midst of which light dances, moves and flows freely through all the works.
Through this collection I invite you to see the world of dreams without having to sleep, I invite you to go to space without leaving the earth, and I invite you to enjoy amazing bursts of light.
All the works in this collection are characterized by flashes of light that bathe the shapes and exalt the colors. Some of these works express a disturbing and dynamic frenetic glow that highlights the flashes of yellow and cyan colors, as if they were flashes of neon and gold, or as if it were a star emitting energy with all its might to draw the viewer's attention and summon him to witness the work.
On the other hand, the viewer will also come across works where the light has a dimmer glow, timidly and harmonically defining the shapes that make up the work.
Creating both ethereal and spatial atmospheres, where the colors yellow, orange, blue and purple play a leading role, and where the viewer can feel the calm, serenity and silence of the light contrasts.
These two styles that I have just presented are the ones that most abound in the collection, however it includes 7 different artistic styles; each of these is a different type of atmosphere.
Having developed this collection is a very important step in my artistic journey, because I have conceived it with great maturity and have managed to organize my ideas more efficiently to present them in a more orderly manner and under a series of related concepts; the viewer this time is going to find a series of works closely linked to each other under the same concept and a series of similar techniques.
n the past I have let my restless mind flow as it pleases; Now, thanks to the experience I have gained, I have been able to tame it to conceive my ideas in a much more selective way.

The reason for my choice is that I had never published a collection in this market and I decided to make my debut. On the other hand, I took Harmony One as the Blockchain to coin because the costs to make these on this network are less than 5 cents, which is a great advantage for emerging artists with few financial resources.

Those who already know me and have seen other of my works, know that I like to take objects or beings from reality (that's why I use photography as a base) and transform them to return them under an unreal look that at the same time preserves clues of reality to which that being or that object belongs.
The creation of all these works took place entirely on my phone, and for some time now I have taken more and more seriously exploring and exploiting the artistic possibilities that a smartphone can offer.
My phone is a Xiaomi Redmi 9T and I had previously used it to take photographs and create several of my works, I also used several applications that I had already had the opportunity to try and learn about beforehand for the application of filters and retouching of the images.
****The Creative Process:****
****Step 1:**** **Photography**
First I take the photograph of any object or being that has inspired me.
****Step 2:**** **Filter Application**
Then I take that photo to "Picturize It", an app that has a very interesting range of filters and that is why it was chosen by me to bring these Impossible Atmospheres to life. There I select the most convenient filter for the image and evaluate whether the result satisfies me or not, to determine its inclusion in the collection.
****Step 3:**** **Glow**
When I apply the filters in Picturize It the image is a bit opaque, so I take them to "Glitch Lab", apply their excellent glow filter, and adjust its intensity and dispersion according to the case of each image; To do this, I determine which settings suit each work best.
****Step 4:**** **Retouch**
Finally, I process the images in "PicsKit", one of my favorite apps for a long time. In PicsKit I adjust the contrast of the images and in some cases I increase the glow (as appropriate for each work), I also adjust the brightness and saturation of the colors; which is one of the fundamental pillars of this collection, since these manual and selective adjustments of the tones of the different colors that make up the work (especially the yellow, orange, cyan and purple tones) are what allow me to control the atmosphere that surrounds each of the works.

Breaker of Seas - AI NFT Art
One moment is all it takes for the angels to burst into this world and allow something sublime to be created, something exquisite whose beauty cannot go unnoticed.
There are things that only happen once in a lifetime and then are unrepeatable, those are the most wonderful things and their rarity is what makes them valuable.
Today the capricious future of destiny put all the factors in order and gave me one of those golden moments from which these wonderful things come out, and believe me when I tell you that sometimes they come in the least expected way.
My journey through the metaverse led me to NFTs and this technology led me to discover and explore various artistic styles; For a while now I've been doing everything from retouching my photos and applying filters to transform them into pieces of visual art, to creating abstract art and generative avatars.
Recently my curiosity has led me to become interested in AI Art; artistic expressions generated with the help of artificial intelligence.
As complex as it sounds, anyone can ask a bot for help nowadays to express their artistic concepts, and this practice is not only widely accepted in the NFT Art markets, but it has also become an increasingly growing trend.
To create this type of art you simply have to download an app (there are a lot of them in the Play Store) and through it you give instructions to the bot by placing sequences of words that describe the concept you want to capture, for example: horse of fire running free in the sea.
These words are a kind of track that the bot will follow and you can also tell it what artistic styles you would like the work to be created in. These results are not always obtained, the truth is that they are not that common, but with practice you will learn how to communicate with the bot and how to make it understand you.
These types of apps are allowing anyone to interact with a bot through simple commands and at the same time they are helping AI to be accepted.
I have also witnessed how these apps are improved, how the bots learn and their knowledge bases are updated. This work is one more example of it.
However, I don't like to leave all the work to the bot, so after I give it my instructions and the work is ready; I take it to Photoshop and start retouching it, just like I do with my other works, the ones I create through my photographs.
Also, for those who are not yet very familiar with this type of art, this is called generative art; and when you create a work using one of these apps, the work belongs to you and if you want you can even sell it. Many NFT markets (including NFTShowroom) have been filled with this type of art, and as I said before it has become a widely accepted trend.

The artistic style in which I made this work was called "Spatial & Galactic" within the collection. Here the works present a more subdued glow and a more serene atmosphere, as in other of my collections and as happened with other pieces in this same collection; It can be seen that nature has a great influence on my work.

In any of my collections you will always see a flower, a plant, a tree, an animal, a landscape or even a leaf, because I seek to capture in my art everything that matters to me; the things that I think are worth living and breathing for, and I think that enjoying nature is one of those things that really make life worth living.

I believe that flowers and the sound of flowing water have the power to take our minds to a higher state where we are able to bring out the best in us. For my part I can say that they also bring out the best in my art.
La Amistad y el Amor Trascienden las Fronteras de la e
El amor no es un sentimiento exclusivamente reservado para el ser humano, todo ser inteligente es capaz de sentir amor y ese amor no solamente está limitado a relaciones filiales como las parentales o entre hermanos. Las otras formas de vida que habitan este planeta son capaces de amar a otros individuos de su misma especie e incluso s individuos de otras especies.
Los perros son capaces de amar a un humano, los gatos también, y por supuesto los perros y los gatos pueden sentir amor y brindarse mucho cariño entre sí. Esto lo digo con mucha propiedad porque tengo un ejemplo en casa; mi gata Batak y mi perrita Bárbara ya celebran 10 años de una amistad inquebrantable y sin malos entendidos.
Me encanta verlas juntas porque aquí se ven los frutos de la buena crianza que les hemos dado, desde pequeñas Bárbara y Batak se criaron juntas como hermanitas, se les enseñó a respetarse mutuamente y a no pelear ente sí, hoy por hoy se ve que son capaces de recordar y mantener estos valores.
My NFT Art in Auction on Woonkly
As a Photographic Artist this is one of the pieces that I am most proud of, I have done other works with this style and I can definitely say that this is one of the best I have achieved.
The base canvas for my work has been the photo that I took with my Canon EOS Rebel T3i Camera of a strange cricket with very striking colors (among which the yellow one stood out mainly) and I retouched that photo in Photoshop to achieve this finish.

Mi Gata se Adueña de mi Casa Silenciosamente
Mi gata se está adueñando poco a poco de la casa, su estratégia es bastante simple y eficaz; simplemente se sienta o acuesta sobre un sofá, una mesa o el área que desea conquistar, luego hace monerias o pone su carita tierna y acabamos tomándole una foto.
Luego resulta que la foto se convierte en una prueba del uso y costumbre de mi gata a estar en ese lugar y de que lo ha tomado pacíficamente y hecho suyo. No le tengan miedo a los invasores, te le más miedo a tu gato; miren que mi vecina dice ser la mascota de sus dos gatas y quizás silenciosamente en casa vamos por el mismo camino.
Por otra parte no hay quién se le resista a la increíble Batak 😊
Haciendo Cripto Arte
Desde una propuesta anónima publicada en 2008 y un lento comienzo en 2009, el criptoverso se abrió paso en el mundo; primero logrando que varios **de** sus activos superarán con creces el precio del dólar por unidad, luego expandiéndose hacia distintas áreas como video juegos, plataformas de vídeo, blogging y entretenimiento. Ahora también el cryptoverso está tomando el ambiente artístico.
No es una sorpresa la verdad sino algo que abría de esperarse, ya que los diferentes proyectos de criptos generan sus propias comunidades que acaban identificándose con los logos de los tokens. Así que desde pintores hasta fotógrafos, casi todo artista emergente o contemporáneo acaba incluyendo al menos en alguna de sus obras el logo de una criptomoneda.
Así me ocurrió a mí también, ya que recientemente he comenzado a crear Cripto Arte utilizando mis fotografías como lienzo base. Mi concepto consiste en expresar lo que me gusta como la belleza de la naturaleza y crear atmósferas místicas e irreales, sumado a expresar cuáles son mis Cripto proyectos favoritos.
En este caso combino los inigualables paisajes de mar de la ciudad de La Guaira (Venezuela), mi fascinación por las estrellas y la noche, así como mi gusto por Harmony ONE, Cripto de la cual ya he hablado anteriormente en este blog.
El Cripto Arte también me gusta porque me permite combinar mis habilidades fotográficas con mis habilidades en el uso de Photoshop, así como explotar mi creatividad con nuevos retos. Esta obra supone para mí un nuevo logro en mi formación artística y crecimiento personal.
En primer lugar he continuado mis avances en la manipulación fotográfica, ya que esta foto la tomé en el día y la convertí en noche (ya me dirás cuál es tu opinión en los comentarios 😉). También avancé en la combinación de imágenes, ya que el cielo estrellado es realmente una foto del piso del estacionamiento de la urbanización donde vivo.
Para garantizar la ilusión exageré los colores, sobre todo los tonos azules y cianes, para simular ese cielo nocturno de película. Modifiqué la opacidad de la capa correspondiente a las estrellas para darle transparencia y que se armonizara con el cielo.
También ajusté el contraste de la foto del mar y cambié el balance de colores favoreciendo los tonos azules, así es cómo creé la noche😝. Igualmente apliqué levemente algunos filtros para darle textura de dibujo a las fotos.
Luego sólo me faltaba la luna, dentro de la cuál colocaría el logo de Harmony. Esta luna fué creada a través de un elemento básico (círculo generado en el mismo Photoshop) el cual fue retocado para generar los resplandores, transparencia y degradado de tonos grises claros que la componen.
Finalmente sólo quedaba retocar el logo de Harmony para armonizar con todo el conjunto. El logo llevó un proceso muy parecido al de la luna; agregué resplandores en los bordes y bordes, relieves y rellenos de contorno para ayudar a que resaltara.
Luego de guardar el Proyecto en el Photoshop y exportar la imágen, sólo faltaba la parte más sabrosa de mi proceso creativo; abrir el archivo exportado para chequear que todo está bien y tomar café mientras veo mi propia obra. Esta vista de la obra me sirve para evaluar mi trabajo, saber cuánto he crecido y reflexionar sobre qué me gustaría mejorar o cambiar.
El resto ya es el proceso de crear (acuñar o mintear) el NFT qué sirve como certificado de propiedad de la obra. En este caso lo hice en daVinci Gallery y solamente acuñé una sola edición porque considero que el Arte debe ser único y por ende cada obra solo se debe vender una vez. My Cat is My Muse
She is "Blacky" one of my beloved kittens, she has beautiful green eyes that stand out because her fur is mostly black. She also has a cream-colored stripe that makes her unique, since you can rarely see such a cat.
I love to photograph her and she now accepts that I do it and allows me to get much closer than before. No matter what angle you look at her from, she is simply beautiful.
La Importancia de la Polinización

La Polinización es una de las cosas más importantes que hacen las abejas por las demás especies, ya que garantizan la reproducción de las plantas sin las cuales la vida en el planeta como la conocemos no existiría. Es cierto que las abejas no son los únicos polinizadores que existen, pero sí son los más eficientes ya que son los insectos que tienen mayores necesidades de visitar las flores para la recolección de polen, por lo cual lo hacen con una frecuencia mayor que otros insectos.
En el vídeo podrás ver a las abejas cosechando polen y además explico cómo es posible esto y cómo funciona. Este vídeo lo grabé en el jardín frontal de mi casa y para ello utilicé la cámara macro de mi teléfono Redmi 9T.
Datos Curiosos Sobre las Termitas
Las termitas, comején o polillas son insectos sociales que viven en colonias organizadas, para ello construyen nidos en los árboles, aunque también estos nidos pueden ser subterráneos. Tienen mandíbulas muy poderosas que les permiten perforar y comer la madera, la cual digieren gracias a los Protozoos; unas bacterias que viven en su sistema digestivo.
Sus mandíbulas son tan poderosas que les permiten atravesar hasta el concentro de nuestras casas para llegar a la madera. Las termitas se dividen en castas; están las obreras que se encargan de alimentar a la colonia y construir el nido, los soldados que se encargan de proteger a la colonia contra otros insectos, y la reina y el rey que se encargan de la reproducción de nuevos individuos para la colonia.
Un dato muy curioso es que los soldados, la reina y el rey no pueden alimentarse por su propia cuenta y dependen para ello de las termitas obreras.
Mi Gata Vende NFTs
Batak, ese es el nombre de mi gata, desde siempre le he tomado fotos con las diferentes cámaras o teléfonos que he tenido, he compartido algunas de estas fotos en mis redes sociales, le hecho post en mis blogs y ahora en el año 21 del siglo 21 he creado varios NFTs con el Arte Fotográfico que incluyen la imagen de mi pequeña Batak.
Como bien sabemos ya algunos de los que nos hemos ido empapando de este tema, en el Metaverso hay muchos habladores de pistoladas, así como los hay ciertamente fuera del Metaverso. Entonces hay mucha gente por hay hablando de las ultra geniales posiblidades que hay con los NFTs pero luego resulta que no han vendido ni uno; así que en esta publicación te voy a presentar algunos de los que he vendido y sus respectivos enlaces al token, donde podrás chequearlo desde la plataforma en la que lo he vendido y ver información relacionada al contrato inteligente.

Este fue publicado en Refinable, un mercado de NFT Multicadena donde se pueden acuñar NFTs usando Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain y Polygon. En mi caso la que más utilizo es Polygon, aunque también he tokenizado algunas obras usando BSC, Ethereum ni la miro, que va las comisiones son ultra costosas y es poco amigable con el Medio Ambiente.
La imagen como podrás ver es una foto del día a día de Batak, se la tomé mientras estaba acostada en la pequeña camita que le hicimos con una cesta plástica y un cojín, allí se acuesta durante el día.
El fuerte del retoque fotográfico consistió en darle textura de caricatura hecha a mano alzada, donde se ven algunos de los bordes que delimitan las formas, pero los mismos están incompletos. Últimamente he estado haciendo varios Artes con este estilo porque me encanta.

La foto que originalmente utilicé para hacer este Arte también se la tomé a Batak en su camita, pero fué un día distinto. En el caso del primer Arte la foto la tomé con mi teléfono Redmi 9T y la trabajé usando la app Pickits; en el caso de esta imagen la tomé con mi cámara Canon EOS Rebel T3i y la trabajé usando Photoshop.
A pesar de que ambas fotos fueron tomadas en el mismo lugar sus intenciones son completamente distintas, en este caso me inspiré en las estrellas y en lo cósmico; así que utilicé filtros y jugué con los valores de la imágen para crear la ilusión de que la imagen de mi gata son un montón de estrellas en el espacio haciendo está forma y brillando en distintos colores.
El tercer arte es muy tierno, se trata de una foto que le hice a Batak mientras dormía, luego en el retoque apliqué un filtro artístico para darle el estilo de la Noche Estrellada de van Gogh; esto lo hice específicamente porque este NFT lo publiqué en daVinci Gallery (https://davinci.gallery/view/0x3020e12b8d061dc024a90d59407d8b9ce5e3e01c) y durante unas semanas las imágenes con el estilo de la Noche Estrellada estuvieron en tendencia; por aquellos días vendí unos cuantos artes 😎
Aquí quiero enfatizar que si bien mi obra se caracteriza por no seguir patrones ni tendencias, a veces si las tomo en cuenta pero les doy mi propio toque y la obra que finalmente logro sigue siendo una pieza original y muy bien trabajada.
A veces es importante seguir las tendencias o por lo menos tomarlas en cuenta parcialmente porque es una buena forma de llegarle a la gente, lo que significa que podrías atraer a nuevos coleccionistas y no sólo poner más ojos sobre tu arte, sino vender más obras.
La cuarta obra que les presento hoy (aquí tienen el enlace al token: https://davinci.gallery/view/0x3020e12b8d061dc024a90d59407d8b9ce5e3e01c) es una de las más divertidas, la foto se la tomé a Batak a media noche y la desperté porque hice ruido; estaba molesta conmigo y hasta me refunfuñó.
Está fué otra de las obras al estilo Noche Estrellada que vendí, como siempre mi niña (aunque molesta) resultó ser una gran modelo, muy expresiva porque hasta la bravura hay que saberla expresar.

La foto que utilicé aquí fué una de las que le hice en una de las sillas del patio,la deformé bastante usando Mirror Lab, una de las aplicaciones más bizarras (pero en el buen sentido) que he utilizado.
La verdad la obra es tan rara y Crazy que no esperaba venderla, sin embargo sin darme cuenta la había vendido, ya que me enteré varias semanas después de la venta mientras revisaba mi Perfil en daVinci Gallery.
Aquí cabe destacar que si tienes una idea y la lograste llegar a cabo, no temas en publicarla porque el Arte es Subjetivo y las obras que menos te puedes imaginar la acaban gustando más a tu público que inclusive aquellas que tú auto denominas tus piezas maestras.
Hasta aquí el paseo de hoy por mi arte, desde lo más Fino hasta lo más raro. No me quiero ir sin antes destacar lo importante que es compartir los enlaces a los NFTs cundo se habla de obras vendidas, pues esto le da una posibilidad inmediata a ustedes queridos lectores de seguir estos enlaces y comprar que es cierto lo que digo.
En otras ocasiones no lo he hecho y aprecio enormemente la confianza ❤️ pero lo mejor es darles siempre las herramientas para que ustedes mismos lo comprueben.
En mis próximos post voy a entrar fuertemente en materia de lo que es NFT, cómo determinar sus precios, mercados y algunas recomendaciones para quienes quieren iniciar en esto o quiénes ya iniciaron y aún están dando sus primeros pasos.

Hice un NFT con un Juguete de mi Infancia
Tengo este juguete de toda la vida, me lo regaló mi papá y ni siquiera recuerdo cuándo porque era muy pequeño, así que en definitiva es una de mis posesiones más antiguas que tengo. Siempre lo tuve entre mis preferidos y lo incluí en muchas de las aventuras que me inventaba cuando jugaba, incluso llegó a luchar con varios pokemones y les llegó a ganar.
Durante mi adolescencia pasó buena parte de su tiempo en una caja guardado junto con mis otros juguetes, luego llegó la época en que comencé a hacer limpieza y regalé varios de mis juguetes, sin embargo este nunca se fué; siempre lo tuve en la caja de los muñecos que aparté para no regalar.
El contenido de esa caja se fué haciendo cada vez más pequeño, al punto de caber sólo en un par de gabetas, donde por supuesto seguía estando mi amigo. Llegué a regalar juguetes más caros y mejores consevados que este, sin embargo aún así lo seguí escogiendo y ahora no sólo está guardado sino que se tiran junto con otros juguetes y adornos para embellecer mi habitación.
Hace unos días lo tomé y lo sostuve frente a una de las paredes de mi cuarto, le tomé una foto y días después la retoqué con dos aplicaciones para lograr este acabado que mezcla lo abstracto, lo místico y algo muy personal. En mi obra constantemente hay pistas sobre mí, sobre quién soy y sobre mi propia vida.
De niño no me imaginaba que iba a hacer algo más con este tigre de plástico y eso es lo bello del Arte y la Libertad que me doy a mí mismo con mis métodos de trabajo, que nunca sé de dónde va a salir una obra y que jamás sé cuál va a ser el resultado final de esa obra cuando comienzo a trabajarla.

El Día en que Ethereum se Volvió Púrpura
Todos los que circulamos en alguna Blockchain hoy en día sabemos muy bien lo fácil que es abrirse un Wallet nuevo o una cuenta en plataformas construidas en cualquier Blockchain, así como sucede con Hive, Noise Cash, Blurt, daVinci Gallery o Binance. Para obtener tu Wallet o tu cuenta no hace falta identificarse o llevar a alguna agencia una serie de requisitos, tampoco nadie te pregunta cuánto ganas, dónde trabajas o quiénes te conocen; tal y como sucede cuando intentas abrir una cuenta bancaria.
También quienes ya tenemos tiempo en cualquier Blockchain sabemos lo simple que es enviar dinero de un país a otro sin necesidad de pasar por el tedioso sistema bancario tradicional y su burocracia. Entonces "Acceso" pudiera ser una de las palabras que más tenemos en mente cuando hablamos de tecnología Blockchain.
En el año 2008 una nueva era había comenzado, pero para ese momento muchos ni nos dimos cuenta, y lo que parecía ser algo un poco parecido a PayPal acabó siendo una tecnología muy superior que se desarrolló en un corto tiempo y que llegó a involucrar rápidamente a millones de personas.
Quizás todos conozcamos las controversias que comenzaron a desarrollarse en el 2015 dentro de la comunidad Bitcoin sobre la Escalabilidad del Proyecto, y que desembocaron en propuestas como la de aumentar el tamaño de bloque para poder manejar mayor cantidad de transacciones por minuto y bajar las Fees cobradas por transacción.
Hoy por hoy podemos entender lo importante que es la Escalibilidad al momento de garantizar un verdadero acceso a la tecnología Blockchain, ya que redes como Hive nos permiten hacer transacciones sin cobrarnos una Fee (Comisión), igualmente hay otros Proyectos bien escalables como Polygon-Matic, Harmony One y BitCoin Cash que nos permiten hacer transacciones y hasta acuñar NFTs por comisiones muy bajas, a veces hasta inferiores a $0.01.
Esto permite que estas redes se presten para hacer pequeños pagos, crear plataformas de blogging o contenidos, y hasta para enviar remesas. En este tipo de redes no se excluye a nadie en base a su poder adquisitivo ni se le pide más dinero con tal de acelerar la transacción, como ocurre en Ethereum.
Este Blockchain es el centro de mi post ya que Ethereum es la red que popularizó la utilización de protocolos para crear otros activos digitales que circula en dentro de una misma Blockchain, los famosos tokens.
Ya todos sabemos muy bien lo que es un token, o bien porque hemos jugado en juego NFT o bien porque hemos adquirido algún activo digital de alguna Dapp desarrollada en hice a través de Hive-Engine. Sabemos muy bien que cada token se crea con propósitos específicos y que puede haber tokens que hasta tienen un precio mayor que la Criptomoneda principal de la Blockchain dónde estaba alojados, mientras que hay tokens que pueden valer sólo $0.000007 cada unidad.
Hoy en día Ethereum y sus altas comisiones complican mucho el disfrute del ecosistema de su propia Blockchain, y si hablamos de acuñar NFTs ni hablar; el costo se nos va de las manos y la acuñación de NFTs dentro de la Blockchain de Ethereum se limita a obras más costosas y aleja a los Artistas emergentes que a veces vendemos una pieza en menos de $50.
Ethereum viene prometiendo que van a ser escalables para finales de este 2021 o para inicios de este 2022. Sin embargo en la Blockchain de Polygon surgió una alternativa inmediata y muy utiliza hoy en día el Wrapped Ethereum (Ethereum Envuelto) que puso en circulación este popular activo digital en una Blockchain que sí ofrece acceso a todo el público.
El Wrapped Ethereum o WETH ayudó mucho a popularizar la Blockchain de Polygon, cuyo logo es de color púrpura y por eso el logo de WETH es el mismo logo de Ethereum pero en color púrpura, en lugar de negro y gris como se presenta en su versión original. Es a este Ethereum Púrpura que dediqué está obra de mi Cripto-Arte en el que represento a través de mi arte Fotográfico las Criptomoneda que más me gustan.
En este caso hice la pieza para celebrar la Escalibilidad, el Acceso y la Libertad que nos dan proyectos Blockchain como Polygon-Matic. E igualmente como una forma de expresar mi gusto por todo lo que se ha desarrollado en la Blockchain de Ethereum pero que lo prefiero en púrpura, que en este caso sería escalable; accesible.
Hoy por hoy creo que así como podemos escribir un artículo y publicarlo inmediatamente sin necesidad de editoriales ni imprimir tirajes como antaño, el Arte también debe ser inmediato; pues puedo tomar mis fotos y desarrollar piezas en cuestión de minutos usando mi teléfono.
Entonces creo que nuestros recursos financieros deben ser así; rápidos, inmediatos e incluyentes, para que nadie se quede por fuera. Gracias al WETH millones de Artistas emergentes podemos llevar nuestra obra al mercado de NFTs más grande del mundo; Open Sea, que desde hace tiempo permite acuñar tokens en la Blockchain de Polygon, siendo el WETH el activo principalmente usando para comprar los NFTs acuñados en este Blockchain dentro de Open Sea.
Nuevamente es un verdadero placer que me hayas acompañado y leído, como verás me interesa también el tema financiero en la Blockchain; y es que como Artista he descubierto que es importante tener un control financiero y con la tecnología Blockchain es más que posible para el Artista, el Escritor y el Creador de Videos de hoy en día.

El Llamado de la Luna Llena
Desde que comenzamos a mirar hacia arriba y nos atrevimos a contemplar por primera vez el cielo nocturno; la vimos y nos fascinó. En nuestro idioma su nombre se escribe sólo con 4 letras L-U-N-A dos simples sílabas que tienen un peso poético tremendo, porque hasta el que menos sabe de estas cosas sabe muy bien que la luna es la luna y eso es indiscutible
Hoy en día la luna no es una diosa inalcanzable, sino una masa de roca que se quedó atrapada en nuestra orbita. Ya la luna no guarda secretos para nosotros, ya sabemos que no da brillo sino que refleja la luz del sol, ya sabemos que es posible ir hasta allá y ya sabemos que su lado oscuro no oculta ninguna ciudad extraterrestre (y esta quizás fue la última gran esperanza de encontrar algo más allá de lo evidente).
Sin embargo la luna siempre dará lugar a ser algo más que una bola de roca que refleja la luz solar por las noches, la luna de un modo u otro siempre será un objeto místico que nos acompaña por la noche. La luna siempre será la figura poética que siempre ha Sido y esto será así por mucho tiempo más simplemente porque seguimos siendo seres que se dejan llevar, siempre necesitaremos algo místico en nuestras vidas y no siempre querremos darle una explicación a todo.
Yo como Artista tampoco la puedo ignorar y en mi obra reciente hay 3 piezas dónde la luna juega un papel fundamental. La primera se titula "City Nights" (Noches de Ciudad) y es en realidad un montaje bien creativo que tiene como base una fotografía que tomé en el norte de la Ciudad de Valencia, Venezuela.
Lo más creativo de la obra es que la foto la tomé a plena luz de día, sin embargo los Artistas nos dedicamos a tomar elementos de la realidad, los pasamos por nuestra mente y luego los devolvemos a la realidad completamente diferentes.
El cielo no es el mismo cielo de la foto, lo recorté y le agregué un cielo nocturno con algunas nubes, que luego deformé al máximo en lo que es textura y color. Finalmente agregué la luna llena y también jugué con sus texturas y la saturación de colores.
Elegí el verde para el color del cielo porque quería algo inusual y extraño, que al mismo tiempo contrastara con los edificios y la calle. Aquí también quiero agregar que difícilmente la luna puede retratarse tan bien en una fotografía de paisaje sea este natural o urbano, le mejor posibilidad de hacerlo es durante la luna roja que es cuando la tierra y la luna están mucho más cerca, y la luna se ve amarilla, roja o naranja.
La segunda obra que quiero presentarles se llama " Moonlight Driving" (Conduciendo a la Luz de la Luna), esta foto sí fue tomada en la noche; la hice en la Autopista Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho a la altura de la ciudad de Guarenas. Le dí a la imagen textura de caricatura y aproveché para saturar al máximo la colores, también aproveché las luces de la autopista para darle un toque romántico que evoca a la persona que trabaja mucho todo el día y luego tiene que conducir durante la noche para llegar a casa.
Esa noche la luna no se veía, creo que estaba en fase de Luna Nueva, así que nuevamente recurrí l montaje creativo para montar esa gran luna amarilla que contrasta con el azul del cielo nocturno. Aquí aprovecho para decir que el mejor color para contrastar con el azul es el amarillo, y viceversa.
Esta vez no quise presentar una luna tan idealizada, sino mostrarla como el disco brillante que se ve en el cielo durante la noche. Tampoco le di mucho brillo y agregué algo de opacidad para fundirla mejor con el fondo, pues mi intención es que se viera de una forma más realista y que no llamara tanto la atención; sino que se integrara a la composición como un elemento más.
La última pieza que les presento hoy se titula "Changing Day for Night" (Cambiando Día por Noche) y se trata de un paisaje que retraté en la ciudad de La Guaira, Venezuela. La considero una de mis joyas y de mis Piezas más hermosas, primero por el paisaje que junta el suave oleaje del Mar Caribe, segundo porque en este lugar el Mar se ve bien azul, y este se funde con el azul del cielo en el horizonte.
Por otra parte las piedras que hay aquí tienen unos colores muy bonitos y la forma en la que están dispuestas complementa muy bien el lado inferior de la imagen. También se trata de una obra bastante minimalista, porque se trata de un paisaje bastante limpio y con pocos elementos.
Aquí invité a la luna de una manera mucho más imaginativa, se deja ver junto a un cielo nocturno y estrellado a penas en un costado de la imagen, donde un cierre(cremallera) ha Sido abierto para dar paso a la noche. El cierre toca justo la línea que bordea el mar y su movimiento nos lleva hacía el movimiento del mar.
Agregué de manera sutil texturas de pintura al óleo tanto al paisaje, al cierre como a la luna para darle un toque de clase que nos recuerde a ese Fino Arte que se pintaba en un lienzo a la luz de las velas.
Hemos visto como con un concepto (la luna en este caso) se pueden crear piezas de Arte Únicas y Originales a través de nuestra fotografía, el retoque fotográfico y el montaje creativo. Ser Artista es Saber Soñar, y creo que sí se quiere ser Artista primero hay que atreverse a soñar y permitirse a uno mío imaginar.

Mi Primera Venta NFT en Open Sea
Desde hace un tiempo me he estado metiendo con el Toy Art, reconociendo de una vez que no soy un especialista en el tema pero que le he puesto todo mi cariño como Fotógrafo y Artista Fotográfico. He hecho pocas piezas y una de mis favoritas es esta que hice con este pequeño y creativo autobús inglés que me regaló mi mamá hace demasiado tiempo, tanto que ya ni recuerdo cuando fué.
La foto la hice utilizando como fondo una hoja de papel blanco, luego cambié el color durante la aplicando de filtros y ajustes😎 la obra la publiqué en ScreenSaver World, un NFT Marketplace construido en la red Polygon y que se conecta con Open Sea.
Al publicar mis obras en este mercado las mismas se reflejan en Open Sea y las puedo listar haciendo uso de la red Polygon para venderlas en WETH. Al mismo tiempo las puedo vender en ScreenSaver en Matic (la cripto de Polygon). Lo que significa que tienes más exposición y les das más opciones a tus potenciales coleccionistas.
Este autobús me ha dado muchas alegrías; de niño lo disfruté mucho, de adulto lo tengo como adorno en mi biblioteca y ahora me ha dado una nueva alegría; resultó ser uno de los primeros NFTs que vendí en Open Sea, pues este mismo lunes en horas de la madrugada me llegó la notificación a mi correo de que la venta se había hecho🤯

El Ojo en la Tormenta, una de mis Piezas Maestras
Aunque el Artista pueda hacer bellas obras jamás será dueño de la belleza suprema ni podrá gozar siempre de su visita, es la belleza suprema la que decide visitar al Artista cuando ella quiere, y así sin siquiera esperarlo acabas dándote cuenta que haz hecho una de tus mejores obras sin haberla exportado aún de la app.
Así me ocurrió con "El Ojo en la Tormenta" una de las mejores piezas que he logrado y que me tomó por sorpresa a mí mismo. Y ahora que ya entramos en ambiente les cuento la historia que hay detrás de esta tempestuosa pieza que a su ver tiene una composición muy armónica:
Todo comenzó con una sesión de fotos que hice con Mariana Vasquez, mi modelo y convenientemente mi esposa, en esa sesión no estaba planificada ninguna foto que incluyera ningún tipo de detalle como este, sin embargo justo antes de finalizar le pedí que se quedará quieta y tomé una foto de su ojo utilizando el lente macro de la cámara de mi glorioso teléfono Redmi 9T. Así quedó la foto:
Viéndola puedo decir que no está mal, es una buena foto de un ojo pero no pasa de ser eso, no tiene nada de especial, y justamente de eso se trata el Arte para mí; tomar algo que no es esencial y convertirlo en algo memorable, en algo sublime, algo eterno que nos trasciende incluso a nosotros mismos.
Este fue mi lienzo en blanco, mi bloque de mármol, la base sobre la cual esifiqué mi trabajo como Artista. Si compraras ambas imágenes detalladamente notarás que a parte de que me gusta aplicar filtros al estilo dibujo, pintura o cómic; también me gustan mucho los altos contrastes.
De hecho casi toda mi obra presenta altos contrastes, es lo primero que me interesó en aprender a ajustar cuando tuve mis primeros acercamientos al Retoque Fotográfico. La cámara y el ojo tienen una principal diferencia; y es que cuando vemos las imágenes llegan a nuestro consciente muy bien corregidas, no vemos contrastes fuertes. Mientras que la cámara se caracteriza por presentar las imágenes que captura con contraste.
Hoy en día se han mejorado los lentes y sensores para corregir esto, pero jamás será igual a la vista, y al mismo tiempo ¿Porqué tendría que serlo? Es maravilloso que estos artefactos, que estás piezas de la tecnología, vean distinto a nosotros, sino no podríamos utilizarlos para hacer arte.
Lo otro que también notarás es que me encanta exaltar la saturación e intensidad de los colores, por eso también utilizo filtros al estilo dibujo, caricatura o pintura; porque de lo contrario las texturas de la imágen se verían muy mal cuando se aplican altos niveles de saturación.
No es lo mismo hacer arte que corregir fotos, porque cuando haces lo segundo los valores que se exaltan deben ser muy medidos, cuando haces arte en único límite es hasta donde tu obra lo necesite, pero no hay parámetros.
Lo demás obviamente es un montaje que incluye elementos PNG, que en este caso son las nubes y los relámpagos. Sin embargo más allá de montar y ubicar cada elemento para que la composición tenga sentido, estos elementos fueron retocados individualmente a la fotografía del ojo que fue la base de toda la composición.
Después de hacer varias pruebas y definirme por la versión final de la obra, me di cuenta de que había logrado algo demasiado hermoso, algo que me dejó una satisfacción enorme y que jamás me arrepentiré de haber dedicado el tiempo necesario para terminarla.
Hoy mismo puedo decir que soy el Orgulloso Autor de esta pieza maravillosa, sin embargo no soy el propietario ya que recientemente vendí está obra a través de Refinable, un NFT Marketplace que trabaja con 3 cadenas de bloques simultáneamente (Ethereum, Polygon y BSC).
En este caso yo acuñé el NFT usando la red Polygon (la recomiendo ampliamente, me ha ido muy bien) su comprador fue Brian Bitzer (https://twitter.com/crapfish) con quién me puse en contacto por Twitter después de darme cuenta que también me había comprado otras piezas; pues me gusta saludar y conocer a mis coleccionistas.

Finalmente me gustaría agregar que sólo creo NFTs únicos, es decir que sólo vendo una edición y que por ende mi Arte es único y cada obra sólo puede tener un dueño.
Me gusta que sea así, pues crecí visitando museos y admirando a los grandes maestros de la pintura como Goya, Rembrandt, Monet y Picasso. Por lo tanto en ese caso podemos decir que sólo hay un Guernica, sólo hay una Impresión Sol Naciente y sólo hay Una Maja Desnuda. Y quiero exactamente lo mismo para mi Arte.

Dragon Ball ¡Dame Dinero!
Dragon Ball ¡Dame Plataaa!
Este post no se trata directamente sobre Dragon Ball, sino de Fotografía, Toy Art y, por supuesto, NFT. Aquí te voy a decir cómo la tecnología Blockchain puso en mis manos la posibilidad de ganar algo de dinero mientras evoluciono en mi arte Fotográfico y cómo un Mercado NFT puede ser tan impredecible como el Rayo del Catatumbo.
Llevo meses publicando en daVinci Gallery, un NFT Marketplace construido en la Blockchain de Harmony ONE, y sobre el que ya he hablado anteriormente. Allí es donde vendí mis primeros NFTs y mi experiencia en ese lugar del Metaverso me ha llevado a abrir mi mente y a hacer de todo (con el Arte por su puesto).
He hecho avatares de animé con aplicaciones, arte abstracto y he lanzado obras en toda clase de estilos fotográficos. Todo eso me llevo a animarme con el Toy Art y hacer mis primeros intentos con algunas figuras de colección que tenía en casa. Hice unas 5 piezas pero no llegué a vender ninguna, lo dejé por un tiempo hasta que paseando por el Centro Comercial Buenaventura (Guatire, Miranda, Venezuela) me encontré con algunas tiendas que exhibían en sus vitrinas estas simpáticas figurillas de Dragon Ball.
Al verlas pensé "creo que podría hacer unos NFTs con ellas", así que decidí tomarle fotos a unas cuantas y retocarlas luego en la comida de mi casa. Ese día estuve ocupado con otros proyectos fotográficos que ya había iniciado, así que no fue sino hasta el día siguiente que comencé a procesar estas imágenes.
Apliqué filtros para darles textura de dibujo, saturé selectivamente los colores para exaltar ciertos colores y degradar otros, aumenté contraste y apliqué otros ajustes básicos que son típicos en mis fotos.
Finalmente distorcioné el fondo para que no se viera que son figuras en un anaquel, aunque con la imagen de Shu (el perro humanoide de uniforme azul, segunda foto) no me hizo falta; pues como la figura muestra una pose firme, como de una formación militar, sólo tuve que recortar un poco los bordes de la figura para que no se vieran totalmente los otros muñecos.
También retoqué una del poderoso Kaio-sama, y a esta le agregué unas nubes, recordando que en la serie Goku lo conoce en el cielo; o al menos en la bizarra versión del cielo que presentaron en la serie.
Estos dos últimos Artes (el de Shu y el e Kaio-sama) los vendí por 5 y 4 dólares en daVinci Gallery. El primero (el de Tron) lo vende por 6 dólares en ScreenSaver World (NFT Marketplace que trabaja con Polygon-Matic). En total puedo decir que me gané $15 por haber ido a pasear al centro comercial con mi papá y pasar un buen rato.
Con esto quiero decir que los mercados NFT son sumamente impredecibles y raros, pues e vendido piezas fotográficas realizadas con mi cámara profesional hasta en menores precios que estos Artes con las figuras de Dragon Ball y no las he vendido. Así que si se desea lograr algo en estos mercados definitivamente hay que abrir la mente y atreverse a todo, al menos a mí me ha funcionado.
La cultura Pop llegó para quedarse y la mejor parte es que la podemos poner a trabajar para nosotros. Ganar dinero siendo Creativo es más fácil que hace 10 años y los NFTs, la Blockchain y plataformas como Hive ya tienen tiempo abriéndole las puertas a las personas que somos creativas y que en el viejo sistema no podíamos ni atrevernos a soñar.
Finalmente quiero dejar claro que esto no es fácil, no se trata sólo de tomar unas fotos a unos muñequitos y ya, hay que elegir el mejor ángulo, jugar con la luz y tener criterio y conocimiento para procesar las imágenes.

Mi Crazy Experiencia en Juungle🌴
Aunque no lo parezca estas imágenes tienen algo muy en común, todas las he comprado en Juugle por centavos y las he vendido por precios que oscilan entre los 3 y los 8 dólares cada una. Así que en esta oportunidad voy a hablarles del potencial negocio que todos aquí en la comunidad BCH tenemos en nuestras narices con nuestro pequeño mercado de NFTs, aún en versión alpha, y que cada vez se hace más grande.
Lo primero que tengo que decir es que de entrada Juungle me pareció una cosa XYZ, no le di mucha importancia hasta que me interesó comenzar a acuñar NFTs, sin embargo para este fin la plataforma aún ves poco práctica ya que el proceso para acuñar debe realizarse manualmente con la versión 3.6 del Wallet Electron Cash y es bien difícil, por lo tanto lo dejé pendiente y ni me molesté en volverlo a visitar.
Un mes más tarde, después de haber comenzado a ganar platica e verdad en davinci Gallery, me di cuenta que podía comprar NFTs baratos y revenderlos por un mejor precio. Así que comencé a hacerlo en daVinci y no me fué tan mal, pues me saqué unos dólaritos extras.
Luego recordé que en Juungle habían (y todavía hay) NFTs a menos de $0.5 entonces me animé a invertir unos $2 comprando varios artes que eran vendidos en 20 ó 40 centavos, entre ellos un par de adorables caballitos de la colección Fluffy Pony.
Luego puse a revender esas piezas por precios diferentes, el más alto entonces fue el pony (se ve en el collage que compartí como imagen del post) que lo puse por lo equivalente a unos $3.5 (y me costó como 14 centavos). La verdad es que lo hice como una mera prueba y sin esperar mucho, pasaron unas dos semanas y allí estaban mis NFTs sonriéndome sin ser vendidos, así que me volví a fastidiar de Juungle...
Luego, un buen día por la mañana mientras me sorbía mi cafecito, escuchó una notificación en mi teléfono, era un correo en mi bandeja Gmail, resulta que me avisaron de Juungle que había vendido un NFT, era el Bendito Pony que se había ido a otra cuenta porque fue comprado.
Dese entonces comencé a prestarle más atención a Juungle y al menos ya le he sacado unos $50 invirtiendo de centavitos en centavitos. Así que creo que aquí tenemos una plataforma BCH con gran potencial que apenas está comenzando a calentar los motores.
Así que pendientes, y a invertir aunque sea medio dólar que vale la pena, a mí me funcionó.
No Estoy Loco, Sólo Soy Artista
No sé si el Arte lleva a la locura o sola locura es la que lleva al Arte, pero lo que sí sé es que mientras más te adentras en el ambiente Artístico te atreves a más y más hoy en día, pues después de la aparición de la tecnología Blockchain y su rápido desarrollo, así como los crecientes mercados de NFTs, podemos decir que vemos y sentimos el Arte de otra manera.
En primer lugar se abrieron una cantidad de canales para que más personas compartan y vendan su obra sin necesidad de protocolos, invertir mucho dinero o tener que pasar por tediosos, o hasta a veces injustos, procesos de selección y evaluación de su obra.
Hoy en día existen muchas opciones para quienes no terminamos de encajar nunca en el viejo sistema, ahora puedes crear y compartir sin necesidad de intermediarios ni de organizar eventos o exposiciones en galerías, simplemente acuñas tu obra a un token y se crea un contrato inteligente en una Blockchain ¡Y listo! Ya estás comerciando tu obra directamente al público.
Esto no sólo nos abrió la posibilidad de comerciar y compartir rápidamente una obra, sino de atrevernos a hacer más y a ir más lejos. Sabiendo resaltar la importancia que se le viene dando al Pixel Art, Montaje Creativo, Colage Digital y al Dibujo Digital, estilos que en el viejo sistema no eran tan apreciados como ahora, pues vasta solo ver el éxito de los Cypto Punks o los millones de Animé que pueden ser puestos en venta al día en las distintas cadenas bloques sobre las cuales se han construido mercados para NFT.
Cuando comencé a tokenizar solo hacía piezas de Arte Fino a través de mis fotografías, ahora hago montajes creativos en base a mis fotos, agregando elementos de libre uso. Esta es una de mis más recientes, la titulé WarCat y hacerla me ha dejado muy contento.
Muchos de mis viejos conocidos quizás piensen que me he vuelto loco (más de lo que ya estaba) pero la verdad es que no estoy loco, sino que soy artista, y ahora me atrevo a hacer más, me dejé de formalidades y no sólo hago Arte Fino o de altísima calidad, sino que me atrevo a hacer otras cosas y a compartir con el mismo orgullo estás piezas.
Así si alguien interesado en el Arte NFT o en incursionar con sus piezas en estos mercados, les digo que no tengan miedo y que se atrevan a publicar cualquier obra que hayan hecho con mucho cariño y esfuerzo. No se pongan a pensar en qué dirán o si harán el ridículo, sólo compartan su obra sin temor a nada y orgullosos de lo que han hecho, que el Arte es bien subjetivo y hoy en día más.
Por cierto modelo de mi foto es una de mis Gatas, a la que pusimos por nombre Negrita. Hice la composición en base a su cara aguerrida, pues no le gusta que me le acerque mucho. La foto la tomé con mi teléfono Redmi 9T y el montaje lo hice en Picskit, una app que recomiendo bastante. Gracias por leerme.

El Poder del Retrato
Un retrato es una de las expresiones fotográficas más poderosas que pueden lograrse, un primer plano muchas veces vale más que una foto de cuerpo completo y eso es porque el retrato es más atractivo, y hoy veremos por qué:
Primero que nada el rostro es la parte de nuestro cuerpo que más nos permite expresarnos a nivel visual, muchas veces una expresión, una mueca con la boca o una mirada dicen más que todas las palabras que podamos usar; tanto así que a veces nos delantal y nos ponemos rápidamente al descubierto con lo que no decimos más que con lo que decimos.
Segundo, aunque no nos demos cuenta siempre, nos las pasamos viendo rostros; bien sea cuando hablamos y nos relacionamos con otros o cuando vemos televisión, series vía Streaming o fotos en el Instagram. Así que de por sí nos resulta atractivo, porque nos resulta familiar; es como ver la imagen de Thanos para una fan de Marvel, reaccionará al instante y llamará su atención.
Tercero, el rostro está lleno de líneas y todo lo que tiene líneas es un parque de diversiones para el Artista visual, así que hacer una foto en primer plano pondrá las líneas de las cejas, los ojos, los labios y el cabello a trabajar para el fotógrafo o el pintor. Luego, claro está, es escoger la mejor expresión para cada momento, así como la mejor pose. En este caso la mano y la cortesa del árbol hacen líneas verticales que llevan a espectador al rostro, al mismo tiempo la posición de la cara y de la mirada alejan al espectador de la imagen y lo invitan a verla de la nuevo.
Ahora quizás te preguntes, si me pienso todo esto antes de hacer una foto y la verdad es que no, para nada pienso en todo eso, Sólo compongo y disparo; pero sí conozco todo esto y lo llevo dentro de mí, así que lo aplico de una manera natural (desde mi subconsciente) y no de manera mecánica siguiendo una fórmula que llevo anotada en un papel.
