Adana, located in the south of Turkey on the roads connecting Europe to Asia, is located in the lowland region called Çukurova in the Mediterranean Region. Adana, which has a 160 km coast to the Mediterranean, was founded in BC. With its history dating back to the 6000s, it has been the cradle of numerous civilizations from the Hittite Empire to the Ottoman Empire.
