Supernatural beings

One of the interesting topics is mythology, it can be written about extensively, but here is a short text from me.
It depicts the heroes of that culture, gods or supernatural beings, who can steal the sun in the name of humanity, donate fire, teach people how to hunt, how to grow food and weave baskets and cloth.Sometimes one hero of culture is at the same time a divine creator, although often he or she is less distant and inaccessible sometimes in the form of gods or semi-humans.
One of the more important heroes is Maui, who in mythology caught and pulled from the ocean floor of the Pacific island of Polynesia, pushed into the heavens from the underworld and trapped the sun, to slow it down and give humanity more daylight.
