Lets travel around the globe and visit some of the stunning mountains of the world, shall we?


Kirkjofel in Iceland (1519 feet equivalent to 463 meters)

We have all heard of the mesmerizing atmosphere of Everest and Fuji, but few of us have any information about Kirkjofel in Iceland. The spectacular Kirkjofel Mountain can be seen on the west coast of the island of Iceland. This area is known for its beautiful waterfalls and hot springs.

Kirkjofel is the most photographed peak in Iceland.


Pitons in St. Lucia (2,618 feet (798 meters))

The Pitons Mountains are one of the most famous sights on the island of St. Lucia.

These volcanic mountains are located in a dense forest and their surroundings are home to about 245 different plants and animals species, including eight rare tree species and 27 bird species.

El Capitan in California (3,000 feet equals 914 meters)

El Capitan is located on the west side of the Yosemite National Park Valley.


Three sisters, Blue Mountain in New South Wales, Australia (3,024 feet (922 meters))

The Three Sisters is the most famous landmark in New South Wales. According to a local legend, the soaring stones of the three sisters symbolize the three protective sisters.


Table Mountain in South Africa (3558 feet equivalent to 1084 meters)

Table Mountain is one of South Africa's most famous natural attractions. The 200-million-year-old mountain is one of the oldest peaks on the planet, located in Cape Town.

Antonio de Saldana, a Portuguese explorer, climbed Table Mountain in the early 16th century.

Huangshan Mountain, Anhui in China (6115 feet (1863 meters))

Although the Huangshan Mountains or the Yellow Mountains are not the highest in China, they are certainly the most spectacular.

Mount Fuji in Japan (12776 feet equivalent to 3894 meters)

Mount Fuji is the largest peak in Japan. This beautiful mountain is sacred to Buddhists.


Viniconca, Andes in Peru (17,100 feet (5,212 meters))

This multi-colored mountain, despite its perfectly symmetrical layers, is not man-made.

Viniconka's colorful bands are the result of the formation of sedimentary layers of minerals.

Damavand Mountain in Iran (18410 feet equivalent to 5610 meters)

The highest mountain in Iran is the highest volcano in Asia is known as Damavand Mountain.

Damavand mountain is located in the central part of Alborz mountain range and Mazandaran province.


Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania (19341 feet equivalent to 5895 meters)

Kilimanjaro, nicknamed the Roof of Africa, is a symbol of the African continent.

The mountain is located in northeastern Tanzania in a national park of the same name. Mount Kilimanjaro is actually an extinct volcano.


Mount Everest, Himalayas, Nepal and Tibet (29028 feet (8848 m))

You can not talk about the mountains of the world and not mention Mount Everest. Mount Everest is the mother of all mountains.
