Evidence of creatures who once roamed the Earth is known to have existed which dates back even before the beginning of mankind. The same could be said to the importance of evaluating certain events in history of how human cultural, societal, and political affairs functioned in the past. You cannot just claim that certain events happened in the past just because said so or there is just an evidence you or many otherwise people proclaim. It must be scrutinized using proper logic and reasoning, debated. Basically, you need to filter out the unnecessary things not required and just compile all the that matters.

And when they succeeded, there goes the years of our ancestors or even our generations effort down straight to the drain and then the culprits will happily live for many generations free from the critical eyes of vigilant citizens. Previous administrations in politics also has a lot of controversies and the sometimes you can hear news about rallying student activists calling out the person seated in position to hear their cries because the people whom they did something wrong did not get any justice for years or even decades. Our predecessors might encounter a problem also if they don’t do the same. How? Say for example, our technology is so advance that every solution has problem, flying cars, advance health information, everything you could hope for but it seems that the society you live in is like programmed to do a certain algorithm in order for them to be given a benefit for being an obedient citizen. But here is the catch, they are so advance that they only hold records of the past and do not have people who actually practice the tradition anymore because no one passed on their art for the reason. Now there comes a time of crisis everything is in disarray perhaps because of war or financial crisis. Now they have no choice but to relearn what their ancestors survival tactics were in order to adapt to the situation. Seems subtly out of a movie. Yes, but the future is unpredictable and it is better to be ready rather than be too complacent.

The point here is our history isn’t just a record of events in the past but rather a tool that can be utilized on some situation. It may be a boring subject at times but it could also be a gold just hiding in the plain sight waiting for someone to dig it up. So, at least learn about some major history every once in a while.
